  Comments: Stephanie is a great host. She is very warm and helpful. We felt welcomed by her and her husband right away. The apartment is very spacious. From the apartment you can easily walk to the subway to go to Manhatten or the bus stop. There are different stores such as a grocery store and restaurants in walking distance. We had a great time there and would come again.

  Comments: From the beginning of the booking process to the end of our stay, our host Stephanie and her husband Kevin were gracious, accommodating and available! The apartment was clean, cozy and comfortable. The location was within walking distance to the subway system, drugstores,markets, and scrumptious street food vendors! The apartment was a homely oasis after a long day of hitting the New York pavement. I will definitely be highly recommending this AirBnb!

It was for us the best place to discover New York City, calm and near from Manhattan and a lot of great places in Brooklyn ! Stephanie and her husband are very friendly and helpfull people.

  Comments: By far the best Airbnb host I've had thus far. Stephanie is very warm, generous and comforting. The apartment is everything you could imagine; spacious, full of light and beautiful. Stephanie went above and beyond in terms of communication and accommodation, even going so far as to set up a meeting at a dance studio by someone I idolized! She & her husband have succeeded in really making their apartment a home away from home. The apartment has a lot of literature on the area of Bushwick and the Brooklyn Burrough which were very helpful in my adventures. The apartment itself has original fireplaces, all new plumbing and electric. Just the perfect match of antique and modern, while still holding it's original integrity. Stephanie is also very fun to chat with; very knowledgeable about New York & the arts if that's what you're into. There's a corner store on the same block which is very convenient & the subway is about 3 blocks away. If you're not wanting to venture out, the Apple TV in the apartment will handle your Netflix craving! If I come back to NYC long term this will be the first listing I look for.

  Comments: I can't thank more for what Stephanie and Kevin have done for us during our stay. They were extremely friendly and approachable. Everything was very tidy and clean when we moved in and sweet Steph also bought us alkaline water and so much more little things such as toothbrush and so on. They live just downstairs so I could easily go to them when I had problems. The trains are just a 5 min walk away and there's basically everything you need close by, like Walgreens, laundromat and so on.

  Comments: The apartment was perfect and exactly as described with plenty of room for two. The air con worked well and the shower was great! It was a five minute walk to the Gates Ave subway and there was no problem ordering an Uber from outside. Stephanie was a kind host providing lots of information regarding the local area, maps and visitor guides. I'd happily stay again.

Stephanie and Kevin were accommodating, friendly hosts and included some treats on our arrival -- a bottle of wine and breakfast supplies to get us started, along with a warm welcome. The apartment is located close to public transport and is just a train ride away from Manhattan -- very convenient and the hosts also provide a range of guidebooks and tips on Brooklyn for those keen to explore the surrounding area.   Comments: Stephanie is a five star, AAA, +++ hostess. She is very nice, available, and helpful. The apartment corresponds exactly to the description with a large living room, two comfortable bedrooms and well equipped for a daily life. The apartment is 10 mn walk from the subway, 20 mn by subway from Manhattan downtown, and 40 mn by car from JFK airport. The apartment is in a typical charming brownstone which makes you feel a real New-Yorker.

  Comments: Increible el apartamento; todas las comodidades. La descripción y fotos totalmente reales. Una cama comodísima. Únicamente, comentar que solo había una silla para poder comer en la mesa. Stephanie siempre disponible en ayudar y en aconsejarnos lugares para visitar. En el apartamento hay todo tipo de foletos y información de la ciudad. La ubicación del apartamento muy correcta. La zona no está tan animada de bares y locales como el vecino Williamsburg. Pero decir que el metro está a dos calles. Nosotroz estuvimos casi dos semanas, y a la semana de estar Stephanie limpió el apartamento, nos sorprendió positivamente. Lo único que recomendamos a los próximos viajero a NYC es que hablen antes con el anfitrión por el tema de las maletas. No existen lugares de taquillas en los sitios públicos más céntricos como en la mayoría de ciudades.

  Comments: Stephanie and Kevin were there to greet us on arrival helping us with our bags and ensuring we knew where everything was. When we had questions they were happy to assist whenever we needed. We really enjoyed the neighbourhood too. Felt like we were in the real NY and not just in a tourist area. But in day g that we could easily jump on the subway to get into Manhattan and took the train to Long Island for a day too. We would definitely come back.

  Comments: I rate Stephanie's place as my best ever airbnb experience. Everything is same as description and photos. It's about 8 mins away from subway station. Supermarket is just two blocks away. The apartment is so cozy and clean. We love the kitchen most, you have all the tools and seasonings. we will definitely visit Stephanie's place again when we travel to NY in the future.

  Comments: We enjoyed our time at Stephanie's place. She was very welcoming and communicative even before we arrived, and always available if we had questions. The subway made it easy enough to reach her place and we definitely found it more economically viable and peaceful to stay outside the hustle and bustle of Manhattan.

  Comments: Stephanie's place is an excellent base from which to explore New York City. It is situated very close to the subway..but not close enough to disturb your sleep! Similarly any noise from local traffic does not cone through to the bedrooms. The apartment is clean and very well equipped. Stephanie was very punctual for check-in and check-out, and also offered suggestions and tips on what to do. Her consideration to offer an umbrella for the Columbus Day parade was especially appreciated. Stephanie also checked regularly by e-mail to see how we were doing. An earlier review mentioned that the area might appear to be a little run down, but from our perspective it is a very mixed area which reflects the whole neighbourhood in general. We felt safe at all times even when returning very late at night. We would have no hesitation to recommend this delightful brownstone.

We felt at home during the whole 12 days and the appt was exactly what we expected. The location is very convenient to explore all NY boroughs (Manhattan is not the only one!). We thank again Stephanie and Kevin for the perfect reactivity every time we needed assistance during those freezing but delightful winter days.   Comments: 깨끗하고 3명이 묵으면 적당해요. 2층인데 생각보다 계단이 가팔라서 캐리어를 옮기는 게 힘들어요. 호스트가 도와주긴 했지만, 다른 한편으로 계단이나 마루바닥이 긁히는 걸 너무 염려해서 부담이 되었어요. 위치는 지하철 J (Hidden by Airbnb) 이 가깝긴 하지만 맨해튼 가는데 대부분 환승이 필요해요. 단점은 집앞 도로나 계단에서 나는 소음이 전혀 차단되지 않아 시끄럽다는거예요. 호스트가 관리를 꼼꼼히 하여 아파트는 깨끗하고 요리하기도 좋아요.

  Comments: Het appartement in Brooklyn is minder dan 10 minuten lopen van de subway die je rechtstreeks naar Manhattan brengt. Het appartement heeft ruime woonkamer, 1e slaapkamer en kleine 2e slaapkamer. Mooie uitvalbasis voor 2 personen, eventueel met kind. Stephanie is hartelijke gastvrouw die snel reageert op onze vragen. Airco aanwezig maar alleen voelbaar in woonkamer, slaapkamers vrij warm (was ook 35°C buiten). Winkels en eettentjes in de buurt. Wij hebben er 8 mooie dagen overnacht en prijs/kwaliteit is goed.

It was close to the subway the neighborhood was really nice and we enjoyed exploring it during our stay.   Comments: It is certainly a pleasure to say how wonderful our stay in Stephanie's Brooklyn brownstone apartment was. Stephanie is a warm and welcoming host and this apartment is the perfect home-away-from home. It turned out to be exactly as depicted on the website (but larger than expected!), with a wonderful location close to the subway to allow us to easily explore Manhattan. The living room was spacious and comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped, the bedrooms luxurious with comfortable beds and warm blankets, the building well-maintained and centrally located close to supermarkets, laundry, restaurants, subway and bus stops. All was spotlessly clean and the linens and towels generously supplied. The mid-week cleaning was an unexpected bonus. We visited during winter and the central heating was warm and reliable and the apartment has its own hot water system so we never ran out of hot water! The apartment could not be better located and Stephanie's suggestions both in person and in the binder in the apartment provided an insider's view of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Everything about our experience was first class and exceeded our expectations in every way. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone travelling to Brooklyn or Manhattan - it is absolutely perfect!

  Comments: Stephanie and Kevin were great. They were always responsive to our questions and concerns whether by text or in person. Location was primo: Easy to get to Manhattan and other neighborhoods in Brooklyn, and having groceries and liquor stores nearby was nice. Stephanie had some local suggestions that we took her up on and are glad we did. Check out SEA (Thai-club-tropical-bar vibe), which had delicious, beautifully presented food and strong service. Visiting NYC during Christmas has long been a goal of ours, and having a comfortable, close-in location helped make it a wonderful gift to ourselves. We appreciated their hospitality and had a great time. Two thumbs up and big recommendation for staying here.
