  Comments: Nihi B&B was a very comfortable and affordable way to spend some time in Paia. It is conveniently located in an area with few hotel options, within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our host was very accommodating being flexible with check in and check out. Nice when you are coming from far away with early and late flights. She provides ample extras linens and towels, which are much appreciated in the tropical climate and with frequent visits to the beach.

  Comments: The host totally saved me by booking me last second after a bad Airbnb experience in Paia. I stayed in the sunrise unit and it was incredible! It was clean and well equiped. Air conditioner worked great! Excellent location too.

  Comments: Stayed here for one night with my partner and infant daughter. We found it very clean and comfortable and the location was just perfect for visiting the Paia town as it is just a stone throw away from all the shops and restaurants. Host was quick to respond to our request considering we booked semi last minute. Met her briefly during our stay and she was just as nice in person :) Can definitely recommend!

  Comments: This lovely original Hawaiian home is very centrally located in the heart of Paia just a few blocks from the center of town. Anyone can easily walk anywhere from here - for shopping, the post office, groceries, diner, or for ice cream. Just a block away from their front door is an amazing coffee shop called "Sip Me" open from 7:00 am until 2:00 pm so perfect for breakfast or to hang out. I felt like a local and would definitely stay again since the location & space felt safe, was super clean, had extra beach towels, suggestions for day trips, parking, and delivered more than I thought it would from the listing. Thank you!

  Comments: Cozy, clean and convenient - this little unit is the perfect place to stay in Paia. Close proximity to everything within walking distance to all of the adorable boutiques and great restaurants. Laundry is available on site and there is a little bodega right across the street to buy eggs and coffee to prep in the apartment. The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is updated - a true Hawaiian experience in the heart of town, you won't be disappointed!

  Comments: Our stay in the sunrise unit was excellent! It’s a short walk into Paia which is an adorable town. We enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at the local beaches every night and frequently saw sea turtles. The unit has air conditioning which was not available at many of the other places we looked into renting. The unit was clean, beautiful, and quiet. There is a table and chairs outside which was a nice place to enjoy breakfast. The parking spot is right outside your door which made for quick and easy loading and unloading for our day trips. It was exactly what we were looking for and did not disappoint.

  Comments: The inaccuracy of how this place is sold is a shocker. This room ( not a full house or a full unit as your idea of them is) ; is like a cellar, no ventilation, no windows to the outside ( the only window is to the garage). There is no Sunrise Unit of any kind. It is very noisy as you will hear every movement from above where the host lives. Toilet noises from above, fridge noises, street noises ... it is like a nice cave with a comfortable bed. Trust me, you won’t be happy staying here . You want to experience Maui differently , with light , air and health . This place lacks of all of that. It is super humid, hot and despite being clean it doesn’t feel clean. I have reported this place as 1 it is completely inaccurate and 2 it is not a unit of any kind. You need windows to somewhere but the garage. The front door you see it’s on the side of the garage, there is no Sunrise of any kind, there is no privacy unless you close the curtains as people can see you if the walk the back alley where the entrance is . Look, the host is a nice lady who is trying hard to make this space work, unfortunately this should not be allow on Airbnb as it lacks the fundamentals of any house or unit. Do not a tay here , you will not like it . I’m sorry ...

  Comments: This was truly a wonderful place to stay In Paia. This is walking distance to everything in town as well as a great jumping off point for day trips around the island. The space was larger than I anticipated with a seating area and a dining table. I even had family over for dinner. I look forward to returning for another holiday in the near future. Thank you.

  Comments: Perfect little studio for solo traveler or couples visiting Paia. Walking distance to some nice shops and restaurants, plus a liquor store and supermarket. Closeby to famous Mama's Fish House (seriously, the best meal we ever had) and waterfalls down Hana Road. Kitchenette was well-equipped with dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. Super easy self-checkin and checkout.

  Comments: I couldn't have asked for better accommodations for our 9 day stay. It was fully stocked with everything you would need. It even had a cheese grater! Which we obviously used. It is in a central area, making it easy to get to any part of the island. It is only a 5 minute walk into town, but you don't get any of the town noise. The Pit Stop next door is an added gem, especially if you're snackers like us! Overall, such a great place to stay, I would highly recommend it.

  Comments: Hale’s place is very clean with essential amenities and beach equipment, which were super helpful for our days out! I didn’t expect to be so close to Paia (I wasn’t paying attention to the map necessarily) and that part of this Airbnb was awesome! If you want to be close to Paia and have a clean, private space with off-street parking and a nice, responsive host then this is a great place to stay!

  Comments: Location location location. Great little hippie-casual town which has matured into its touristic boom well despite the traffic. Kitchenette better than expected, in addition to the local eating spots, the local food & fish from the market 2-blocks away was amazing. Barbecue. Comfortable patio, step out to a pleasant view of a local Hawaiian neighborhood. Easy walk to beaches as well as town. This is a real place to stay, to get a sense of local culture. Use it as a base, it feels like home here afterwards. Nothing is really that far away, and you could start on the road to Hana early to get ahead of the crowd. Get to everything on Maui early if you can, it’s more fun. Nearby, Mama’s Fish House is a culinary revelation. Bed is quite firm. Coffee in Paia doesn’t open until 7am (we were often at Paia Coffee at opening), so if you’re coming from another time zone, you might want to get to the market for Java upon checkin...3 blocks away.

  Comments: I greatly enjoyed staying in the sunrise unit during my time in Paia. The unit was clean and spacious, as well as just a few minutes walk from the main part of Paia. There’s a nice store across the street that had some good craft beer options and a very helpful staff. During my stay, Avis was very friendly and quick to respond to any questions I had. The kitchen met my needs perfectly, making it easy to make coffee and prepare lunches before I left for the day. I also used the toaster oven to cook slices of a fresh pizza I picked up! The internet worked great and the TV had some movies available for streaming which was nice. Overall I was completely satisfied with my stay and would look to book again if I visit Paia again.

  Comments: This was a great place to stay! The location was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk to the town center, which had great shops and restaurants. Plus, Paia gets pretty busy with tourist traffic, so it was nice to have a place to park our car and walk. The condo itself was great! It is bigger than it looks in the pictures. Perfect for two people and very clean. Would highly recommend this place as a home base for exploring Maui. We used the Lonely Planet book in the condo and found great hikes and other recommendations for fun stops.

The Sunrise unit is in the bottom floor of a 2 story home and walls were kinda thin from upstairs unit. Would definitely stay again!
