Neighborhood Overview: The house is in a great location for accessing all the best parts of Sydney. Close to beaches and parks and easy access to the city and universities. A 10-minute walk gets you to Bondi Junction train station and Bondi Junction itself, which is like a mini-city with all services and shopping ranging from Armani to Zara, as well as a multiplex cinema. (Art house cinemas are short bus rides away.) A 5-minute walk to the local village of Charing Cross and you will find cool cafes, interesting shops, a cheap gym, two pubs with good menus and atmosphere, one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in Sydney, awesome, healthy food and even fine dining. There is also a late-night local supermarket that has a good selection of everything from basics to gourmet food. Bondi, Tamarama and Bronte beaches and ocean pools are a 5-minute drive or 20-minute walk away - or you can take the bus. Notes: There is an indoor/outdoor cat so this may be a consideration for some guests.

Transit: From Bondi Junction, it is a 10-minute train ride into the city centre (trains run frequently). There are also buses which go in every direction - to the beach, to the city and to universities - UNSW, UNSW Art & Design, UTS, and Sydney University (also by train).

Access: Bedrooms other than your own are off-limits to guests. You are welcome to use the kitchen and dining areas, but this does not include entertaining your own guests or visitors.

House Rules: No smoking at all in the inside areas of the house please. No overnight guests. This is a residential area so noise needs to be kept to a reasonable level - no parties and no visitors. You are welcome to use the kitchen facilities but please clean up after use, leaving everything the way you found it. Please respect the space of those who live here. Access to wifi Internet is included but downloading of movies, etc. is discouraged, unless through an authorised site. Please do not take bath towels to the beach, gym, etc. Replacement cost of lost towels is $50 each.
