The apartment itself is very new, modern and clean. 24 hour concierge. The hosts are friendly, speaking fluent english and ready to help with any kind of advise.   Comments: Realmente solo tengo para decir GRACIAS, desde el primer momento me sentí atendido de mil maravillas, Ricardo Fue mas que amable, puntual e inspira confianza desde el primer momento.- Estuvo siempre a disposición nuestra, y el departamento que tiene en alquiler es tal cual las fotos publicadas, esta 200 metros de la playa, y a 50 metros de todas las líneas de bus, tanto para irte como para llegar.- El equipamiento del departamento es perfecto y nuevo, todo funciona, le falta detallar en el anuncio el sistema de luces que tiene que es impresionante, no encontré punto negativo asi que todo es favorable, Desde la rapidez de la atención hasta el dia que me fui que solo tuve que cerrar la puerta e irme,.- Asi que Lo califico con un 10 a Ricardo Ponce y con un 10 mas 1 al departamento.- De nuevo Gracias Ricardo pasamos unas maravillosas vacaciones, espero volver y a ese mismo lugar.-

  Comments: We've just got home after a great stay at this lovely clean and modern apartment, with everything we needed including an iron, hair dryer, wifi, iPod dock etc! Excellent location for a range of places to eat and of course, fantastic beaches just down the road. We found Ricardo to be a perfect gentleman, helping us out with everything we needed. Highly recommended!

  Comments: Ricardo was an excellent host making it quite easy to get acclimated in Rio. The apartment was quite comfortable for 3 people and had all of the amenities anyone would need: WiFi, cable, 2 televisions, AC, power adapters, etc. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend Ricardo.

  Comments: ricardo was one of the best hosts i've ever had. he was courteous, kind and helped with absolutely anything i needed. the apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos. it is contemporary and very comfortable. it's location is perfect, right next to the main street with all the shops and restaurants, near all the public transportation, and also extremely close to the beach. it really made my trip to rio very enjoyable. i would definitely come back and rent this apartment again. i highly recommend this listing to anyone.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our weeks stay at Ricados (Website hidden by Airbnb) was clean and well maintained. The apartment was very quiet dispute its great central location.Everything was only a few minutes walk...shops,the beach and access to all the bus routes. We were made to feel welcome by our host and always got a reply to our e- mails within an hour. A great week!

  Comments: This was my first time using airbnb and was a bit reluctant given I was traveling to another country but Ricardo answered all my questions prior and had no problem coordinating once I got to Brazil. The apt is great as everything is new and works as well as internet as my last trip to Rio I stayed in a Hotel and the internet was useless. Great place great person I will stay here again next time I am back in Rio. It is also only a few blocks from the beach and many places to eat and such. Could not ask for a better place.

  Comments: This was my first time using Airbnb outside of the US. I had concerns about my phone working and being able to coordinate with the host given flight delays traveling into Rio. Ricardo set my mind at ease and was willing to adjust his schedule to ours. He made sure everything worked out great. He was kind, friendly and helpful. The listing is exactly as described, in a safe building with 24-hr doorman, wifi (internet) works great, and well located just 2 blocks from copa cabana beach, and 3 blocks from the Metro. We were not disappointed and would stay here again, and definitely recommend this listing and the host to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in copa cabana.

El apto es pequeño, ideal para dos personas aunque nosotros éramos 3 y estuvimos súper cómodos. El sofá cama es confortable. Cuenta con dos aires acondicionados que hacen que el calor no se perciba. From the location, to the size, the comfort level, the apartment facilities and the general feel at home factor. The apartment is a 5 minute walk from Copacabana Beach so extremely ideal.   Comments: Nice and secure place with friendly doorguard. The host was very welcoming, gave us good tips around town,and is very good in english, something you don't always stumble across in this country. The apartement was as the pictures describes, very good! Lots of nice details! It is also very nicely located on Copacabana. The streets are very touristic and safe. If I'm returning to Rio, this is where I want to stay!

  Comments: Ricardo was great. He met my group and I at the apartment with the keys and explained everything about the apartment to us. He gave us suggestions on beaches and where to eat. The apartment looked exactly as pictured in the photos. It's small but that wasn't an issue at all being we were just in and out since we were exploring beautiful Rio everyday. The apartment is super modern and very welcoming. I absolutely loved it and my experience in Rio. It's literally two blocks away from the beach and close to everything! We were able to hail cabs without a problem right outside of the building. There's even a doorman so we never felt unsafe coming into the building at night. We had a late flight out and Ricardo let us have a late check out without a problem. Thank you Ricardo! You were great!

  Comments: Ricardo is an extremely friendly and helpful host. His flat is in a superb location for exploring Rio, two blocks from Copacabana beach and very close to Sugar loaf mountain. The flat is very clean and furnished really nicely. It is small but because there is a lounge it really helps. He was very kind and let us have a late checkout. I would definitely recommend his flat.

Our check in was late at night and Ricardo met us on time and was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The apartment was extremely clean and all the appliances are new and worked perfectly. The apartment is in a great area near lots of shopping, restaurants and 2 blocks from the beach. The doormen were friendly and helpful as well. We always felt safe and my husband and I traveled with our 4 yr old son. We travel to Rio once a year and we would definitely stay at this apartment again. We can't recommend it enough!

  Comments: We were guests in Ricardo's apartment for 7 nights and we were really happy with our choice. Ricardo was always available by email before our arrival and on the checkin day he welcomed us at the apartment which is even better than how it looks in the pictures. It is modern and functional, fully equipped and very comfortable for two people. Location is perfect, 5 minutes walking from Copacabana beach and 7 minutes from the subway. We didn't use the kitchen since we prefered to enjoy the exquisite restaurants that the city offers instead of cooking at home. We also would like to thank the gentlemen available 24/7 at the building entrance who were always very kind and attentive.

It is a nice sized apartment for a couple or a person traveling alone. It is literally two blocks away from the beach and is surrounded by juice bars, coffee shops, restaurants and transit. The apartment was clean and modern and was the perfect fit for me. I had an amazing time in Brazil and I will book with Ricardo again!

El departamento es tal cual a las fotos y esta cerca de todo, playa, lugares de comidas, lineas de colectivos y metro; Esta muy bien equipado y con todos los servicios. El edificio dispone de portero los cuales fueron muy cordiales y considerados siempre, dado que nos resultaba difícil el idioma. Fue nuestra primera experiencia, por lo cual teníamos ciertos miedos y la verdad que el departamento y Ricardo nos ayudaron para recorrer Rio de la manera que queríamos. 100% recomendable!!!

  Comments: Staying at Ricardo's was great. We were there for a long weekend and it suited us well. Close to the beach and lots of options for restaurants, shops etc. Ricardo was very swift and prompt with communications and the place is just like the photos.

  Comments: Stay was amazing. I never got to meet Ricardo but everything was ready and keys were at my disposal as I arrived. There were some very small issues (toilet seat should be changed, shower doesnt have power due to small hose being disconnected all the time and sink in the bathroom had a very small leak), but it did not bother our stay and I am sure Ricardo will fix these issues for the next guests. Thank you for the stay in amazing and central copacabana!

  Comments: This lovely apartment is located a few blocks away from the beach and in a really nice, bustling area. It was easy for me to get around and the area felt safe. The apartment building is safe and relatively quiet. I wasn’t woken up by loud sounds at any point in my stay. There’s also a doorman, which is a plus. The apartment itself is very modern, clean, well-stocked with kitchen products and is just a cozy place to stay. Ricardo is a great host! I had a small issue with the doorman due to miscommunication and Ricardo handled it immediately, making the rest of my stay very pleasant. He was very responsive to all of my questions and concerns and he checked in to see if I was enjoying my stay, which I felt was kind and hospitable. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

  Comments: Déçu par un appartement qui a l'air pratique mais pleins de défauts : eau chaude seulement dans la douche, manque de vaisselle, un seul bol, pas d'économe, comptoir pour manger pas pratique du tout, pas de table basse, placards trop haut et sans poignées.
