  Comments: It was a nice location with good amenities. Besides the parking spot nothing was great. The hot tub never worked and the light in the laundry was out. It was easy to get in and out of. You can walk to a small private beach which is perfect for watching the sunset. But it's not a good swimming spot.

I loved the personal touches to the house, such a aloe vera gel that was left under the sink...very helpful since I, of course, sunburned my shoulders!

  Comments: We loved this place. It's in Kihei, which we found to be a great place to stay during our first trip to Maui. The room looks just like the pictures. The location was easy to find, about 25 mins from the airport. The condo complex has a pool, parking, and a lot of outdoor space for kids to run around on (as well as a beach within 5 walking mins from the room). The room itself had all the amenities you'd need to feel at home (cooking equipment, towels, beach equipment). We had no issues with this place and would definitely come back. Viktoria was very helpful and her company did a great job in providing information on what to do while we were there (as well as a concierge service). We actually moved units within the same complex during our trip, which Viktoria helped coordinate. This room is on the ground floor, which is both good if you want easy access and want to just let your kids go in and out of the patio door. The view was of the courtyard, so not much to see. The other unit we stayed at was on the 4th floor which had a partial ocean view, but at the same time, we had to go up and down on the elevator any time we had to leave, so really up to you what you want.

  Comments: We all loved our time at the condo we selected by Sunny Maui Condos. It was spacious, clean and stocked full of extras to make the trip more enjoyable. The kids loved the boogie boards and snorkels and loved having all the kitchen utensils you could think of not to mention spices. The view was Amazing and the kids favorite meal was BBQ chicken cooked on one of the many grills by the pool. I loved all the emails and tips with things to do on the island. We will for sure be going back!

  Comments: The host was very welcoming. She sent us detailed recommendations for activities and restaurants. The condo was clean and quiet. We enjoyed our lanai, shared grill area, and beach access. The beach in front of the condos is a little rocky and narrow. Not the greatest beach for swimming, but it was still nice to have easy access.

  Comments: We had an incredible time in Maui. Kihei was the perfect centrally located place with the condo being right on the ocean. The condo was clean and had a great reserved parking space for us. The beach towels, chairs, snorkel gear and boogie bar were also great. Also, we used the concierge service almost every day and it was extremely helpful in setting up trips/adventures and asking questions. Viktoria and her staff personally took care of us and I had my best AirBNB experience to date. I would recommend this stay for anyone traveling to Maui.

  Comments: Our stay in Kihei condo was great! I would stay there again for sure. Great location:: much better centrally located on the Island of Maui then Western Maui Locations like Lahaina. Close to volcano Haleakala which we visited 3 times (one visit was on a bike up to the top which was a great event! The condo unit is on the first floor garden facing and very short walk to the beach with Beatiful Sunsets. The unit was well equipped! All necessities were there! The beach was perfect too! Great for swimming and walking. We weather was great too! We spent 5 days there and were sad to leave! Highly recommend it! Matt & Joann

  Comments: We stayed in this apartment for 5 nights and we really had a wonderful time. The location is great, close to the airport, and very convenient if you want to visit the west part of the island, Hana and the south. It's close to everything, and there are bars and caffes in Kihei, very close. The apartment was very clean. Exactly as it is shown in the pictures. They provided us with beach towels and beach chairs and umbrella. The apartment has all kitchen utensils. Having the hot tub was a plus! And the sunsets are beautiful from the beach in front of the building. Viktoria was really nice, communication with her was very easy and fast. She even called us to see if we had everything we needed. Thanks Viktoria, we really enjoyed our stay!

  Comments: Best location for the price. Nice green open space/lawn to play or set up a picnic to watch sunset. Right by the water. Condo was on the first floor which was super convenient - our car was parked right around the corner from the condo. Loved having the small ice chest, beach towels and plastic tupperware to pack snacks and drinks when we went out for long days exploring the island. Ice maker was a huge plus, along with toaster, coffee maker, and all the cooking utensils. It was super easy to get around and close enough to Paia, Walea, etc. Having air conditioning was a major plus for having a full night of sleep and rest. My son slept on the sofa bed and he described it as cozy and comfortable. Great having a movie night when we were tired from a long day of exploring right in the living room. Viktoria was very helpful in preparing me for our stay and answered all of my questions. Really enjoyed receiving emails about places to visit and things to do - we got the "local experience" versus the tourist traps. I hope to come back again to the same spot next year!

  Comments: Review for unit #126 Ocean front property but no real view from this ground-floor unit. Lovely pool, hot tub and bbq area. No privacy as it is along the path to the pool. Anyone walking by can see directly into the unit. Unit generously provided beach amenities to borrow such as cooler, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, floaties. Unit was clean and sufficient but is in desperate need of updating. Outdated kitchen and bathroom - furniture well out of style. Badly needed black out curtains as the landscape lights beam into every window. Expect the stereotypical worn-out Hawaiian room/condo. The price was right, however, and available when we needed it! Viktoria made our transition from unit to unit very easy. This particular unit wouldn't be my first choice to stay in again, but the property is fabulous.

  Comments: My mom and I had a really nice experience staying here. We were right on the ocean and the grounds of the condo were beautiful (amazing sunsets!). The company Viktoria works for was very responsive and helpful and the condo had plenty of the basic amenities (towels, beach towels and chairs, umbrella, etc.). Since we were on the ground floor and right near an entrance, there wasn't as much privacy as we would have liked but that didn't hinder our enjoyment. Really great location on the island, centrally-located for access to everything by car.

  Comments: Host very welcoming and accommodating of requests but the room is in dire need of cleaning, fixing all sliding doors so they work, fixing the toilet, clean chairs or buy new ones, cleaning of walls & re painting to eliminate odors, replace drapes that smelled awful, consider adding option of blackout drapes for those who prefer to sleep in while on vacation. Appreciated that when the shower didn't drain on our first day there the host brought drano to fix it and replaced our towels that all smelled dirty. Appreciated the nice gift basket! There was no sunset viewable from the actual room also.

Overall an amazing stay and would definitely recommend!

  Comments: We stayed at Kauhale Makai 126 for a week in February. The condo fit our family of 3 perfectly. It's a ground floor unit near the pool and bbq areas so you do get a little foot traffic passing your lanai, but everyone was very friendly and didn't have any issues with this. Viktoria was very helpful and communicated with us every step of the way. I would not hesitate staying here or using Viktoria again. Mahalo!

  Comments: Great condo with everything you need. The condo was bigger than I expected and is set in lovely surroundings. I enjoyed the nice powerful shower, large kitchen/dining area and the patio to sit out on. The beach, which was a 2 minute walk from the condo is beautiful and quiet - we were the only ones on it on more than one occasion! We did share it one day with a few giant turtles which was incredible! The condo is short drive to supermarkets and a few eating places, we enjoyed Lava Java Coffee Roasters for breakfast and morning coffee which is a 5 min drive away. Viktoria was a great host and was very quick to reply to any questions I had. The front desk staff were lovely and helpful also. I felt taken care of the whole time of my stay and it was nice to know they were only an email/phone call away if I had any problems, which I didn't. Would love to to return and stay at this wonderful condo on beautiful Maui!

  Comments: We had a great stay at 'Village by the Sea'. Kihei is a central point for day trips around the island. It was quite windy while we were there but you don't have to drive far to find a sheltered beach. We made good use of the beach chairs and took the cooler to watch the sunset one night. There's plastic containers to pack food etc and cling wrap which is handy. You cant actually see the sun set from there in June, it goes behind the western part of the island. You might want to take an eye mask if you like to sleep in total darkness because the light is on outside the glass door all night and the curtains are not blockout. We got a great driving map from the tour desk at reception and the lady there was very helpful. Being on the ground floor is handy for nicking out to the pool or for a walk and to the car but the balcony isn't that private because people are walking past. We still ate breakfast out there every morning. I liked that the unit is cool enough at night not to need the aircon. The spa at the pool is nice and hot and a good place to meet other travellers at night.

Victoria war super freundlich, hat sich öfters (per Email) erkundigt, ob alles gut ist, ob sie mir helfen kann, hat mir Tips für Lokale, Ausflugsziele.... gegeben. In der Unterkunft gab es auch eine Schnorchelausrüstung und Kühlbox, Strandsessel,... für den Strand was ich echt klasse fand. Super Aufenthalt in guter Lage!☺️

The laundry was a life saver and very easy to use. Best of all, it's so close to all the shops and restaurants in Kihei, our favorite town in Maui. There was some construction happening but it didn't bother us whatsoever. This is a great spot for a great price.

The room however seemed to have been flooded in the past as water damage was noted to be present in cabinetry. Great space for BBQ, the pool and hot tub were very nice and well maintained.   Comments: Sunny Maui Vacations was great for communication and providing awesome trips for things to do and places to see. The team was very quick to response and willing to help. We did not have any issues that we had to contact them for but it was clear that they are genuine and cared about our stay. The amenities provided in the unit were good with some beach chairs and umbrellas. The kitchen within the unit and the barbeque area in the complex were very useful. The unit could use an update as the cabinets and counters are a bit outdated and it was clear that the tub was well used. Shower head was a bit low so some would need to bend down a bit to rinse out their hair. The beds were not the most comfortable but still able to get a good enough sleep each night.

  Comments: The condo was nice with a good layout, the building is from the 80's, so some fixtures, like tub/cabinets are dated. Unit 126 was comfortable for family of three with the pullout couch. It was centrally located on ground floor near entrance walkway, elevators, BBQ and pool. Good for easy access which my wife wanted, you do loose some privacy on the lanai in exchange for the central location and easy access since the entrance walkway is right there.

  Comments: The lanai in this particular unit was awesome. I think we had everyone of our meals outside on the lanai. It is a little close to a public entrance but is shielded really well by lovely plants and vegetation. The space itself is a nice open floor plan and was really just amazing!

  Comments: The amenities at this location are great! We were communicated with on a continuous basis before during and after our trip. We got recommendations for locations to visit, sites to see and local events too. There is a place in the lobby to book activities and the staff is very helpful and inviting. We paid the same amount we would have to stay in a hotel but receive a full kitchen and got to stay right on the beach. The is a local craft market right up the road for any souvenirs and 2 grocery stores with in a mile of the property. I would come back to this exact location again. If it were for sale, I would buy it!

  Comments: Viktoria was the kindest host, most helpful and quick to respond. The location of the condo was great - in Kihei and right on the beach. The apartment itself was well stocked, so it worked as a long term rental. The only downside was that the bathroom needed an update and the bedroom had a smell (but I have a sensitive nose). There are nice Lānais to sit on too. It is right by the building’s public path, so there isn’t much privacy, but we didn’t mind too much. If you’re looking for an economical stay, this is ideal. Viktoria is a great host, as well.

  Comments: This is a very nice space. It was clean, and furnished with everything we wanted. The living room, kitchen, and bedroom were all good sizes for the two of us. The outdoor patio is somewhat concealed by bushes, and makes for a nice mealtime location. I sometimes have difficulty keeping sand out of the house at the beach, but the vacuum provided picks it up like a charm. Food trucks and some open-air markets are a couple minutes away The beachfront is only a couple hundred feet away, and while that part of the beach is pretty short, it's still great for walking and putting your feet in. This is a good location for other activities, being equidistant from the great southern beaches like Big Beach, and the northern towns and beaches in Lahaina. Snorkeling at Molokini Crater, the Royal Lahaina Luau, and the Road to Hana were our favorite activities along with just relaxing at the beach.

  Comments: This Airbnb was sparkling clean and had all the amenities we could have asked for. The patio in the morning was beautiful and the rooms were cozy without clutter. All of the little extras really made this place great; the tips and local suggestions were on point, the pool(s!) were gorgeous, there were both beach and bathroom towels available, and it was a short (15m) walk from the nearest shopping plaza. Additionally, this Airbnb was right on the local bus route, making it incredibly accessible. The only thing to note is that travellers arriving after sundown should really familiarize themselves with the map provided before arrival. The garden paths to the buildings are moderately lit, but all of the numbers for the rooms face the inside of the complex. Overall, this was a fantastic experience that I would not hesitate to repeat. :)

  Comments: While the location is great, be aware that this is an older building. The room itself smelled very musty and appeared to have mold on the ceiling. The building itself has seen better days. That being said, the sunset from this place is AMAZING!

  Comments: Our stay was delightful. The apartment was comfortable and situated right on the beach where we could roam up and down the roads to all our favorite beaches and restaurants. We especially enjoyed the garden setting with expansive lawns and a perfect barbecue area where we happily cooked our Mahi Mahi in the evening.

  Comments: Nice quiet location. Loved the emails with local tips of restaurants and things to do on the island. Check in was a breeze since it uses a door code so no keys needed. Bathroom was a bit tiny and could use some remodeling. Only issue was that we saw some cockroaches in the unit. They’re mostly concentrated in the kitchen but also saw one in the bedroom. Not sure if it’s due to the weather, the construction that was happening outside the unit, or the the fact that the unit is on the 1st floor, but we were a bit wary of leaving any bags open after seeing them within the first hour after arriving. Double check with Viktoria if roach traps have been placed throughout the unit before arrival. She replies quickly if you have any issues.

  Comments: There are no sunset views outside your door unless you take a long walk. Don’t try to get anything done during the day there. The construction noise will rarely allow you to make a phone call.

  Comments: This place is way over priced for what it is. Can hear everyone walking by the bedroom door, front door, and back door. Some maintenance guy will wheel around a loud mop bucket at 5am or 6am every morning. The construction noise was ridiculously loud and right outside the door making it difficult to relax, to walk to the beach, or use the outside grills. There is no beach or water view.
