  Comments: This apartment itself is very beautiful, very clean and with beautiful furnitured, friendly colour, lovely decorated and warm welcoming its guest when arrived after some steps to climb (not problem for me but might be important for people to know). It made our stay very comfortable. The kitchen is nice and well equiped and ready to use. The bathrooms are great as there is a toilet on the first floor and an additional toilet with shower on the second floor next to the master bedroom. Also this room is very nice, I was very surprised and happy when I saw that beautiful room. But above everything else I loved the terrace which really provides enough space. It was so wonderful to enjoy breakfast in the morning there. Nice and typical shops around the apartment made it easy to get everything for preparing meals and also many restaurants around make it easy if you didn't want to be far away from your apartment in the night after a bustling day in the city. Although the surrounding of Aksaray is not what everyone wishes as it is well known to be a conservative place and also a meltingpot for certain illegals. Although I want to mention that I always at every time of the day and in the night felt very safe in this area where I stayed with my 13 years old son, that the apartment is on a good location, that I felt like being a part of Istanbul and not just a tourist, getting a bit of the feeling of a real life in that wonderful city and I would love to stay there again.

  Comments: Great apartment within walking distance of all the main attractions. Its in a locals area so there's lots of great restaurants nearby which are really good value. There isn't a lift and the apartment is on the top floor. But you soon get used to it and my elderly mother coped ok. The outside terrace was a welcome place to decamp with a beer after a busy day in Istanbul.

  Comments: This is a very nice loft apartment near the city center. My girlfriend and I were very impressed by the apartment itself, and absolutely loved the roof terrace in the mornings and evenings. The only drawback is that places were a bit further to walk to than advertised, but everything was still close enough that we never needed to take public transport or a cab.

  Comments: The loft is quite nice and cozy place for our 5 girls staying for a night in Istanbul. it's easy to take 5min walk to the Airport Subway line and Tram station. We didn't meet Onur in person but made phone call with each other and his friend's father took care of us very well. Thank you. We will visit again in future.

Всегда горячая вода в душе - это очень важно. Проблем с заселением не было. Мы были хорошо приняты и нам все объяснили. Рядом красивая мечеть и видом на закат и город. Из небольших минусов: нужна хорошая сковорода на кухне) для удобства приготовления пищи)) Хорошая, уютная квартира, рекомендую!

The apartment itself was nice, pretty much as shown in the photos. All in all we had a nice staying, even though I wouldn't recommend Aksaray as the perfect neighborhood for tourists in Istanbul.

  Comments: we really liked it here: spacious, clean, well-decorated, right next to airport metro and main tram line 1, quiet at night, normal neighbourhood, good and responsive host, attractive price. Highly recommended. Just two small remarks: if you like your bedroom dark in the morning bring a sleeping mask as there are just sunshades/privacy screens. And the dinner table is on the terrace, wonderful in summer but maybe not in winter. Again, recommended. Best for 3 people, as there is a master bedroom for 2 and a small bedroom for 1. However there are extra beds.

  Comments: The apartment is large enough to accommodate we six people. Rooms are clean and equipment with everything you need. Hence we can cook ourselves during the days. However, if you don't want to cook yourself, there are lots of restaurants and small shops. In addition,the location is not bad ( 15 min walking to grand bazaar and 30 min to blue mosque).

  Comments: Clean flat where we felt good during our 8-days stay. Made to rent, not "owner's place". Nice terrace which we did not use (we stayed in December). Kitchen well equipped. Correct wifi. Tram and Subway to Airport very near to the flat. The area is not the safest or cleanest we know in Istanbul, but we never felt bad (3 women). A small market is open 24hours and other small Turkish and Kurdish restaurants are all around. We did not meet Onur in person, but he has been very responsive when we had questions (such as how to operate a machine where everything is written in Turkish). Bear in mind that the flat is on the 4th floor with no lift (especially if you are traveling with heavy luggage) and that there is a steep, uneven-stepped interior staircase leading to shower, main bedroom and terrace. There is one tiny one-bed bedroom downstairs, and a master's bedroom upstairs where the shower+toilet+sink is also located. One additional toilet+ sink downstairs. Decoration was not our favorite but all is clean and probably quite new, so this only an opinion, a matter of taste.. As everywhere in Istanbul, tap water is not drinkable, so you also have to carry water bottles upstairs. Recommended flat.. to people with good legs!

  Comments: We were seven total persons (4 adults, 3 children [4, 6 & 9]) who stayed in the apartment. It was very roomy, and was very pleasant. All bedding and linens were clean and new. Onur and his friends were very helpful and very responsive. They helped arrange airport transport, and several of our local needs. I would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: The apartment was very nice. The district was a very muslim one, but we haven't got any problems. It is very easy to reach from Ataturk airport (line red, Aksaray stop), a little more difficult from SAW airport. It is well connected with all Istanbul zones, for example the T1 line (blue) is very close and it takes you to Sultanahmet and Topkapi within few minutes.We never met Onur, but we were welcomed by Mr. Ibrahim father, a nice man. There is wi-fi in the apartment. The little terrace is very confortable and the view is very nice. We found the apartment kind of clean at our arrival, we only had some problems with a few ants in the kitchen and in the two bathrooms.

  Comments: Très bon accueil, logement confortable et bien équipé, bien situé dans un quartier populaire mais tranquille, la terrasse est très agréable. Le logement est à deux pas du métro vers Ataturk et du Tramway vers Sultanahmet, Galata ... . Pour ceux qui aiment marcher on peut aussi aller à Sultanahmet à pied, une grosse demi heure de marche sur une avenue commerçante, à mi chemin on passe devant le grand bazar. Une bonne adresse ! Very welcoming, comfortable and well equipped accommodation, located in a popular but quiet area, the terrace is very nice. The accommodation is close to the metro to Ataturk and the tram to Sultanahmet, Galata .... For those who enjoy walking you can also go to Sultanahmet on foot, around half-hour walking on a shopping street, halfway you can visit the Grand Bazaar. A good place!

  Comments: Ibranhim's place was clean, spacious and centrally located on top of a 5 story building. It is in an ultra local neighborhood with lot of local restraurant, street food and fruit vendors and apprantly popular internet cafes. Truly local experience, though carrying lots of luggage all the way up was a bit work. Ibranhim himself is very communicative and went extra miles to order airport transportation for us, which saved us lots of hassle.

  Comments: The apartment is amazing, it's super clean, beautiful, and spacious. The terrace is the best place to hang out when we are "home." The location is very convenient, less than 5 min walking distance to the red line subway, which is direct to Antarturk airport, 5 min walking distance to the tram, many buses around to Tuksim and other attractions. Many restaurants close by. The building is in safe area. Mr Ibrahim and his father are very friendly and helpful. I would love to go back to this apartment anytime I have chance to visit Istanbul.

  Comments: The area was easily reachable from the airport by the Red line metro, but was a little difficult to find upon arrival. Definitely have a map and walking directions with you, and be sure to search for the Askaray METRO stop - there is also a nearby Aksaray TRAM stop, which is not the same! We did not meet Ibrahim, but were met outside and let into the apartment by his father who was very kind and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and clean, exactly as pictured in the photos and provided more than enough space for our three person group. The apartment also included two air conditioners, which cooled the apartment quickly and were great to come home to after a long, hot Istanbul summer day. The highlight of this place was definitely the lovely terrace. It was a perfect place to relax and overlook the city. The only real drawback about the apartment was its location - while the main sights of the old city were reachable by foot (25 minutes to Sultanahmet square) and by tram (5-10 minutes to Sultanahmet), the tram does not run all night and this made returning to the apartment after a long night out somewhat difficult. But the walk is easy, and passes right by the Grand Bazaar! Would recommend this apartment for guests who do not mind a little exercise (it is on the top floor, and you will be doing a fair bit of walking if you would like to skip the tram) and for whom outdoor space is a priority - I will repeat, the terrace really was spectacular.   Comments: The flat was really nice and like it was written in the description. It was very close to the main sights and main means of transport. We liked the terrace very much for our meals and the washing machine was quite helpful during the hot days. The flat was clean and the interior lovely. WIFI was very fast and worked properly.   Comments: Очень благодарны Ибрагиму!! Отличная квартира, все, что нужно - есть, все работает, чистая и ухоженная, терраса бесподобна! Ни одно из ожиданий не было омрачено. Район хороший, не шумнее, чем весь остальной Стамбул и совсем рядом с линией трамваев, которые использовали как основной транспорт. До Султанахмета пешком не больше 20 минут легким шагом. Поначалу беспокоили хозяина телефонными звонками с различными вопросами, чтобы побыстрей освоиться в Стамбуле, всегда отвечал и помогал. Рекомендуем эту квартиру, надежная и приятная, можно было расслабиться и погрузиться в отдых.

  Comments: We have had a splendid week in Istanbul. The flat is very well located close to tram and tube, and you easily get arround in the city from here. We were 4 persons in the flat, and appart from the low celing in the bath it was perfect for us, especially the roofterras we enjoyed. The neighbourhood is a little shabby, but when you get to know it, charming in it's own way. You can relay on Ibrahim - and his father mr. Memmet is friendly and abel to explain the basic thing without knowing one word english.

  Comments: Ibrahim arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport which was very nice. The apartment was pretty close to what was shown in the pictures. The outdoor patio was not as nice as shown in the pictures. It wasn't very clean and there was no grill. The one major complaint that we had was that the apartment smelled like cigarettes...which wasn't helped by the fact that Ibrahim was smoking in it when we arrived. There is no elevator and the apartment is on the top floor. The neighborhood was ok...looked a little rough but we felt safe. The train line is about a 5-10 minute walk from the apartment which was nice. If we go back to Istanbul we would stay at Ibrahim's again.

  Comments: Many thanks to Ibrahim and his father for a lovely few days. Breakfast on the balcony, the call to prayer, quiet rooms and a great area of the city all created a perfect stay. We loved the fact that we were one of the few tourists in the area and the restaurant owners appreciated our attempts at Turkish. Even when our daughter was ill on the last day he allowed us to rest in another apartment until we were ready to leave. Enjoy the beautiful city and accommodations.

  Comments: First of all I would like to thank Ibrahim for hosting us. I travelled with my friends (5 of us) and we just loved the apartment! It was clean, we had everything we needed in the apartment. It was cold outside the day we arrived (which was actually early in the morning) and the apartment was so warm and cozy. Ibrahim was an amazing host. He met us early in the morning, showed us around the apartment and explained everything. After that we had the apartment all to ourselves. The apartment was exactly as described and exactly as you see in the pictures. It's a walk up apartment, you get a bit of exercise walking up and down, but it is worth every bit of it. The neighborhood is safe. Every public transportation that exists in Istanbul is in a short walking distance from Ibrahim's place. The apartment is less than 3-min-walk from Aksaray subway (metro), which by the way takes you straight to Ataturk Airport :) SOOO convenient. Tram is less than 5-min-walk from the apartment and plenty of bus stops around going to different directions. If you need grocery shopping, stores are in the neighborhood. We've already recommended the apartment to others, and they already booked it. Next time we are in Istanbul and in need of the apartment, definitely staying at Ibrahim's place. Thank you very much for such an amazing experience. This was not my first time using AirBNB, but it was for all my friends and they were amazed how great everything worked out :) It was home away from home :)

  Comments: Жили в этой квартире с 30 апреля по 6 мая. Квартира отличная, все что нужно есть. Понравилось, что отец Ибрагима встретил нас, проводил в кафе где очень вкусно и недорого кормят. Когда у нас забилась раковина, Ибрагим пришел и все исправил. И квартира и хозяин оставили только положительные впечатления. С удовольствием рекомендую эту квартиру.   Comments: Genuine Turkish district Aksaray will make you love Turkey as it is. We were the only foreigners in the neighbourhood during our stay and almost no one around could speak English. Despite all that it's wonderful experience. Lots of food nearby will make your stomach happy and transportation will quickly move you to most of the places.

  Comments: If you want to feel like you have really lived in Turkey this is the place to stay. 5 of us stayed at the apt. for 6 nites. The view from the terrace, the neighborhood, the complete furnishings in the apartment and the proximity to all public transport were the highlights. Ibrahim was helpful in giving us information about metro and tram transportation so it was easy to move around Istanbul. Everything you might ever want or need can be found within 2 blocks, even passport photos! Once you have conquered the stairs the apartment is ideal. Buy some bread, kofte, kabobs, hummus and wine and enjoy sunset on the terrace.

  Comments: Beskrivningen var korrekt, , Ibrahims (familj) medhjälpare var trevliga, jag hade inte så mycket kontakt med Ibrahim själv. Omar tog emot oss när vi kom, hjälpte oss med väskorna.   Comments: Our apartment in Istanbul was everything we anticipated. Ibrahim's father met us at the nearby (5 minute walk) Aksaray Metro Station. The apartment was clean, cozy and a great balcony which we used to eat meals. The neighborhood was alive with people. Markets and shops were nearby for last minute needs. The apartment was again close to public transportation, both Metro and Tram and we used it to get to locations of interest. BTW, we took the Metro from Ataturk Airport directly to our apartment. Very easy. Ibrahim was very attentive when the air conditioning unit in the upstairs bedroom was not working effectively. He engaged a serviceman to repair the unit and although it wasn't fixed totally during our stay, we made the most of it by sleeping (four of us) downstairs where the air conditioning worked perfectly. If you are looking for a nice unit in that area of Istanbul, Ibrahim's Airbnb is a good value.

  Comments: The location is really great as there is both subway and tramway in walking distance and then the historical center is only 15 minutes away. We appreciated also having breakfast on the roof of the duplex with an outstanding view on Istanbul ... even if we had to climb 4 flood by stairs !   Comments: Great apartment, Superb landlord and very good location. My girlfriends and I stayed at Ibrahim's apartment for 2 nights. I arrived in the airport and took metro about 40 mins to the apartment. Ibrahim greets me in the front of station. The apartment has a very cute Terrance that you can enjoy your breakfast, have a glass wine at night to look out the city. Ibrahim was very helpful to give us recommendations of restaurants and places to go. Since my girlfriends' flight was 6 hours later to arrive. Ibrahim was very kind to stay with me and even ordered food, take me to local store. He was alway want to make sure that we are safe and willing to help with anything. This is very important to 3 girls who don't travel that much. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. wifi works great. The location is very convenient. You can walk to T1 station and go to everywhere. Anyway, Ibrahim's apartment is a must stay place in Istanbul.

Квартира полностью соответствует фотографиям и описанию - очень уютная и вместительная, со всем необходимым для бытовых нужд. А терасса на крыше великолепный бонус! Проблем с заселением не было никаких - папа Ибрагима встретил нас возле метро и проводил до дома (метро в 5 минутах ходьбы). Ибрагим разрешил ранее заселение, что очень помогло, т.к. прилетали в 7 утра. Моя личная рекомендация этого места!

  Comments: The location was good to go everywhere. The facilities were a little old but convenient. The kitchen was spacious to cook a meal. Two problems were the hot watercontrolling and unlocking the door. As the weather is getting cold and I have two sons, we had difficulty controlling the water temperature while taking a shower and unlocking the door with the key. So I advise the host to change the lock and the key. But overall, the price was reasonable.

  Comments: 房子地理位置很便利,位于aksaray站附近,周围有写小超市,可以买些生活必需品和食物,那里的人都很友善,硬是要帮忙把水背到五楼｡从机场坐地铁M1约40min,坐轻轨T1可到达各种景点,2站到达大巴扎,4-5站到达蓝色清真寺､圣玛利亚教堂,老皇宫,也可以坐到新皇宫等等｡房子有两层,虽然面积不大,但是家具设计可以充分利用空间,设备很齐全,厨房､洗衣机应有尽有,还有地图等提供｡房东也很友善,我们到的那天是房东慈祥的爸爸在地铁站接我们的,房东在一楼等着迎接我们,把行李箱扛上了五楼!我们那重重的四个行李箱子,扛得他满身是汗｡本来是因为阳台想来个火锅盛宴,但是因为11月天气太冷,最终只能窝在客厅草草了事了｡二楼有一件主卧,里面是一张大床,还有备用的折叠单人床,旁边就是很大的阳台,可以晾衣服,早上起来,去看看朝阳,风景不错哦,还时不时有海鸥飞过｡下一层就是厨房客厅,还有一个单人间,客厅的沙发可以摊开变成两张沙发床,另外一个沙发展开就是餐桌｡两层楼都有厕所,但是只有上面的带有浴室,水很大,24小时热水提供｡确实是外出旅游不错的选择!

  Comments: Очень хороший гостеприимный хозяин! Разрешил чуть раньше заселиться и чуть позже выселиться! Квартира полностью соответствует фото и описанию и очень теплая! Учитывая что мы были зимой, для Турции это очень актуально! Удобное транспортное сообщение, да и сам район удобен в плане наличия как маленьких магазинчиков, кафе и закусочных, так и наличием сетевых магазинов Бим и Мигрос.

You can walk to old part of istanbul and metro station is 100m from apartment and you can go everywhere. At the time we were there safety was not an issue, we felt that everything is normal.

  Comments: We would be regretting if we had cancelled our trip do to recent suicide attacks in Turkey. The atmosphere was as good as we expected. Peaceful city and helpful people. That's why I love Istanbul more than anywhere else in the world. The hospitality, care, respect, food, sightseeing, transportation... all excellent. We have been collected from "Aksaray" Metro Station. All went well. Electricity, hot/cold water, everything is as advertised. We have been given the keys and nobody disturbed us during our stay. The home had all necessities, including cutlery, dishes, bed sheets, toiletries etc. The place is around 2-3 minutes walking distance to "Aksaray" Metro Station and around 7-9 minutes walking distance to "Yenikapi"- "Marmaray" station where you can go to "Asian side" in 10 minutes by Marmaray Trains. There are many restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance to Ibrahim's house, open till midnight with selection of excellent Mediterranean cuisine. Terrace was lovely. Internet as well very fast. Whoever rents Ibrahim's place, please make sure you water the plants inside the premises and on the terrace. They should not be left unattended, because they are lovely flowers. :) Also the main entrance is secured and the doors are double doors with multiple locks. So, security is not an issue.

There are quiet at evening but just a little bit noisy at morning (I think it's connected with construction works). Apartment are clean and good equipped. Ibrahim is a good host which is ready help you and to answer your question even when they aren't related to apartment.

  Comments: The apartment is in a perfect location in Aksaray ; close to all the eating places ; the metro and all transportation options ; the Historia Mall with a Starbucks , Zara and Bershka is within walking distance ; 2 hammams close by; money changers are also close by and eating places and groceries everywhere you look; the blue line takes you to the grand bazaar in 2 stops, 4 stops to the Hagia Sophia and blue mosque; and 7 stops to the Galata bridge ; The roof top terrace is great to watch the sunset and relax after a day of sightseeing ; although the apartment is on the 4th floor and does not have an elevator it is still worth it; Ibrahim's dad met out shuttle driver around the corner and guided our van to the apartment ; everyone in the neighborhood is nice and assisting ; would stay again

  Comments: Communication with Ibrahim was superb every step of the way. We were met as promised at the Metro Station by Ibrahim's friend and his father Mehmet. In true Turkish helpful style Mehmet carried my case!! The apartment is in a superb location to discover the City. Close to the metro, tram and bus routes which are very cheap and efficient services for exploring. The neighborhood is lively and vibrant. The restaurant across the road (Mezlam Duner) is a must, great food, enormous quantities and friendly staff. The apartment was very well equipped, clean and tidy and felt welcoming, and was exactly as described in the listing. We loved the roof terrace, great advantage for a 180 degree view of the surrounding area. A great stay and we would love to come back again.

Nos movimos a pie a algunos de los lugares más pintorescos de la ciudad (AgiaSofia, Blue Mosque, Gran Bazar,etc) Igualmente está realmente muy próximo a estaciones de metro, paradas de Omnibus y tranvía. A su vez, Ibrahim estuvo muy atento a solucionar cualquier inconveniente que pudiera surgir. MUY recomendable!

  Comments: I loved staying in this apparent for many reasons specially the location. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to Aksary metro station and also Aksary Tram station. Other public transportation is very close. The location is very close to restaurants and shops. You just get down on the street and you will find anything you want. The most thing I like is Ibrahim himself. He is so helpful and kind and I can't thank him enough for the help and the time he gave me during the 7days I stayed in the apparent.

  Comments: Отдыхали вдвоем с женой. Попали в дни праздника Курбан Байрам. Если кто-то опасается шума, то это не для него. Рядом несколько мечетей, слышно все очень-очень хорошо, внизу гуляют, шумят, начиная с заходом солнца и, такое впечатление, что до утра! квартира на 4 этаже без лифта, лестничные пролеты очень узкие (для одного человека) - это надо учитывать! В квартире нам всего хватило, все , что было в описании. Большой плюс - терасса - там мы и проводили то время, когда возвращались домой. Состояние квартиры среднее, но с учетом, что это центр старого города, близко все исторические места - одно другим компенсировалось. Ибрагим встретил, разместил и даже позволил на несколько часов задержаться при выезде. За что ему отдельное спасибо!!

  Comments: Жили у Ибрагима больше недели, 4 взрослых и маленький ребенок. Очень удобное место. Все транспортные развязки рядом, достопримечательности 5 минут на трамвае и или 30 минут пешком. Рядом огромное количество кафе, несколько больших продуктовых магазинов. Большой плюс квартиры - терраса. Хозяин - очень общительный, приятный человек. Всегда был на связи. Отдельное спасибо за подарок в виде трансфера в аэропорт. Рекомендую.

On n’a pas pu profiter de la terrasse en décembre. Le temps ne le permettait pas . Logement prêt de ( Metro , tram et bus ). Logement pas adapter pour les handicapés.
