  Comments: We loved our stay at Putnam Gardens! Debbie is a very kind and gracious host and it's quite evident she takes great care in making her home comfortable and welcoming (not to mention VERY clean). There was plenty of room for my two adult daughters and I and it was great to have a nice kitchen to enjoy a cup of coffee and breakfast before we hit the town. The garden patio is very beautiful, peaceful and a cozy place to relax. Once familiarizing ourselves with the neighborhood, we felt very comfortable and safe making our way to local restaurants, markets, and the short walk to the train. Debbie was very quick to respond to questions, both before our arrival and during our stay. Check in/out instructions were clear and easy. I highly recommend this location!

  Comments: The area we were in was pleasant. There are lots of convenience stores in the area. The area is slowly but surely getting gentrified. Restaurants and cafes were about 10-15 min away walking. There were fresh towels when we needed them. We really appreciated the privacy and the sweet basket she left with toiletries and the tourist pamphlets and restaurant take out and dine in menus. Other than that it was mostly clean and bug free!! The apartment's locking system is great! The cell phone service in the apartment is not that great. But I we were able to do wifi calls with the free wifi. The AC was a life saver since it was muggy during our trip. There are a few things that could've made our stay better however I'll leave those suggestions for Debbie. We all had a pleasant time! My family and I would consider staying there again. We recommend staying here!!

  Comments: This place was great. Debbie provided us a bunch of amenities like soap, toothpaste and coffee. That back bedroom was a tad small, but the bed was amazing and commonly found myself not wanting to get out of bed. Debbie was incredibly responsive and attentive to us the whole time. The coffee machine was broken when we got there and she brought as a new one that night. The parking out front was free to us, but it's definitely a battle to find a spot and due to street cleaning, you will either need to move every other day or get a parking ticket. The subway station is only a few blocks walk which we used every day to get into Manhattan. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay in Brooklyn and wants to visit the city.

  Comments: The Putnam Gardens apartment was good stay overall... The good- Debbie is very responsive and accommodating. I messaged her several times prior to booking with questions about the neighborhood, apartment, transportation, etc. She always replied in a timely manner. Upon arrival there were instructions on the table as well as an awesome welcome basket filled with goodies. toiletries, menu and maps! Her apartment is in a nice neighborhood, walking distance to the C train which takes you into Manhattan, times square, central park, china town and little Italy without transfers to a different subway line. There are several restaurants and bars within walking distance. Her place is cute and big enough for to comfortably fit my family of 5 which she kindly agreed to accommodate. The bad- The apartment wasn't clean. I'm very particular about my space, some might say I'm OCD but when basic maintenance isn't performed there's a problem. I spent about 2 hours cleaning before I was comfortable enough to sleep there. If Debbie corrects this this place will have 5 stars from me! If I ever visit N.Y. again I'd definitely consider the Putnam Gardens apartment again.

  Comments: Me, my husband, and our friend stayed in Putnam Gardens and found the apartment to be a great value. The location was convenient to almost anywhere in Brooklyn, and was confortable and quiet. Debbie is an amazing host and provided a guest basket and lots of helpful guides, as well as bottle of wine to welcome us. We would definitely recommend a stay!

  Comments: Nous avons loué l'appartement de Debbie pour une dizaine de jours avec 3 autres amis. La maison dispose de tout (fer à repasser, aspirateur, sèche cheveux, serviettes, ustensiles de cuisine, etc), nous ne manquions de rien. Le jardin est un grand plus, il est aménagé et très plaisant lorsqu'il y a du soleil. La maison correspondait à nos attentes, et Debbie était accessible à n'importe quel moment pour répondre à nos questions, rapidement. Le quartier est safe, le métro est à 10mn environ et dessert très bien Manhattan. Je recommande pleinement son appartement ! encore merci.

  Comments: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Putnam Gardens. Not many taxi drivers know the address/street name so it may be a good idea to have an app (MapsMe helped us a lot.) The place is in the lower half of a gorgeous town house, I felt very safe, and Debbie was an excellent communicator when we had questions/concerns. Approx. 5 blocks from the C train which will take you directly to Times Square in approximately 30 minutes. Lots of neat cafes in the area! Would love to visit again and explore more!!

  Comments: When you book a trip to Brooklyn, you *must* stay in this beautiful Bed Stuy gem. Debbie is an excellent and instant communicator--her descriptions were spot-on and the place exceeded our expectations. The backyard space is compact, but divine!!! The kitchen is stocked like you cannot even imagine! There was an overflowing Welcome Basket with everything from coffee, tea and wine to snacks and city maps and an abundance of toiletries. There was super-comfy bedding, generous space, lovely furniture (poufs, outdoor couches, throw rugs, extra pillows etc.) and extra decorative touches (and reading material) that truly made this place feel extravagant. We stayed here with our three kids and Debbie even had a blow-up mattress for us. Very minor things: although there was a dresser, there is no place to hang clothes (we only noticed b/c my husband had 'work clothes' that couldn't be folded). Also, there is only overhead lighting--maybe a lamp or two would have been nice in the main living area. As far as public transport, there are buses nearby--we drove, though (we came from NE) and walked--parking on Debbie's street was enevr a problem, either. When you visit Brooklyn/NYC, you will be quite sorry if you miss out on this absolute haven in the city.

  Comments: We had a great time at Debbie's house. The house is very convenient, well equipped, cozy and very clean. It is well situated, very central to both Brooklyn and Manhattan, close to the subway, so Manhattan is easy to reach, plus the neighborhood is nice and the street is quiet. The neighborhood is a good starting point for discovering Brooklyn. Debbie was easy to communicate and eager to answer our questions. We definitely recommend the Putnam Garden place !!

  Comments: The Putnam Garden is a great location for spending vacations in NYC with a family. The main room is large enough and well-equipped. We did not use the yard, but it is really a good point. We went to Manhattan by subway everyday. It is at walking distance from the apartment and it gives an easy access to the island and its main points of interest. We warmly recommend this place! And we thank Debbie for her kindness and prompt answers when it was necessary.
