  Comments: I can highly recommend Carole and Steve’s place - what a lovely, light, spacious and spotlessly clean home! If you get a chance to rent the entire house, go for it. We stayed in the front two rooms of the house, in our own fairly separate area, and had sole use of a beautiful, spacious bathroom. There are no kitchen facilities in this part of the house (as made clear in the ad) but there is a small fridge, kettle and toaster, as well as cutlery and crockery for guests to use. Meals are easy to find in any case as the house is close to some fantastic cafes, bars, pubs and restaurants – a real taste of Sydney’s cosmopolitan inner west. The house is in a peaceful, quiet, tree-lined street. Parking, if you need it, is easy to find nearby, or even out the front if you're lucky (check the parking signs to be sure though). Public transport – buses, trains – in easy walking distance. Carole and Steve and Snoop dog were perfect AirBnB hosts, very friendly and considerate, without being intrusive. We were lucky to have found them! Absolutely recommended.

  Comments: I had the privilege to stay at Carole and Steeve's house for a night. I was also disappointed cause I had to leave Sydney earlier than I expected. this couple made me feel really confortable. I really enjoyed my stay in their house. And I've been touched by the fact they proposed me to eat together, the first evening. They are really open minded and kind persons. The bed was confortable. The bathroom is really big. Even if they start on airbnb, they behave like they're on many years ago, because they are travelers. So they're curious and they know what you need. You'll feel at home. Rent it; that's an order :) (french joke)

  Comments: Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt! Die Beschreibungen von der Unterkunft und dem Umfeld haben definitiv nicht zu viel versprochen. In 20 min. ist man bequem in der Innenstadt mit dem öffentlichen Nahverkehr, fußläufig gibt es mehrere Cafes und die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich, aufgeschlossen und stets mit einem guten Tipp zur Stelle. Wir würden definitiv gerne wieder kommen, sollte es uns erneut nach Sydney verschlagen. Absolut empfehlenswert!

  Comments: From the moment that I booked with Carole and Steve I was made to feel welcome. They are a friendly and helpful couple that went out of their way to ensure that I felt comfortable in their home. Nothing was too much trouble and the accommodation was excellent. I was more than happy with the lovely bedroom, the well set up sitting room and the light and airy private bathroom. I would not hesitate to recommend their establishment for a place to stay in Sydney. Their house is well situated to bus and train transport and there is local shopping available just down the street.

  Comments: Carole and Steve are really nice and often offer suggestions on our plan or when we have some questions. Their house is clean enough and we got surprised when we arrived that it is much better than the photos and is located in a quite convenient place. It took only half an hour to get to the city by train or bus, and so does the airport. They provide us a living room, a bedroom and also a private bathroom, which made us feel like a home. By the way, their little Buddy is also very cute and always showed friendly to us.

  Comments: Lovely and very well-kept home. Superb comfort and privacy. Good value and great access via local public transport. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying a few days in Sydney, who isn't focused on beaches. Easy 20 mins walk to Newtown and wide selection of eateries, bars and shopping. Can get a bus or train to Sydney centre, beaches or airport with ease. Buddy is irresistibly cute and very friendly. Steve and Carole were very good hosts and very flexible for our needs. Highly rated and possibly the best Airbnb experience we had so far in Australia.

  Comments: This was a great airbnb: a homely, tidy and spacious multi-room space at the front of Carole's place. The bed was super comfortable and the bath in the private ensuite is divine! The location is very good, close to bus and train lines in to the city. Great hosts, prompt and easy to communicate with before and throughout the stay. I would happily stay here again.

  Comments: The place was really well maintained. All necessary amenities were provided by Carole and Steve. The room and extra lounge was really helpful. The place that you have for yourself is private and you have plenty of space for yourself with the lounge room. Carole and Steve were always around for any requirement we had. Sweet place :) Additionally note, The cute doggo 'buddy' was is super friendly and had his own boundary but was always happy to play with you :) Definitely pick this place if an opportunity presented itself.

  Comments: I was meeting friends in Newtown so location for me was great. It's also only a short walk to the station from where you can go straight to circular quay. Bed was really comfortable and everywhere was very clean. Would stay again and definitely recommend.

Her partner Steve was home during most of our stay and readily available to answer any questions as well while Carole was working. Their dog Buddy is the cutest. The location is near a really cool part of town called Newtown. Highly recommend checking it out!

  Comments: Steve and Carole are very friendly and hospitable. We enjoyed our stay at their place. They let us use the washing machine as we desperately needed it after a week on the road. The bathroom is super clean and spacious. Their place is very close to the bus stops. We also enjoyed a 15 mins walk to Newtown, a very funky neighbourhood with lots of cafes and bars. We would recommend staying at their place.

  Comments: If you are in Sydney, you should stay here! Aside from the place being perfect (private bathroom, aircon in the bedroom - not just in the living room, small fridge and small private living room), Carole and Steve are an absolute pleasure. They are super kind and very accommodating, and their little dog, Buddy, is adorable and friendly. If I am every in Sydney again, I just hope this place isn't already booked!

  Comments: Carole and Steve's house comes highly recommended! The perfect place to stay when in Sydney! The check in was smooth and Steve was very helpful and friendly! We were also allowed to leave our bags in the house while we explore Sydney on our last day and pick it up just before our evening flight. Location is great!! Located near Newtown which is a very nice and cool place to explore. It is also located very near to a bus and train that leads you straight to anywhere you would like to explore in Sydney. The house is also such a treat to return to after a long busy day out. You will have a nice big bed to sleep in and a big bathroom all to yourself. Additionally, there is also a lounge that we were allowed to use all to ourself to make coffee or tea. Overall, very thankful to Steve and Carole and will definetely be back here if ever in Sydney :)
