Comments: This was my first time using Airbnb and I could not be happier! Franky made us feel very welcome, leaving towels and an air mattress behind for us since we were going to have more people than would have fit on the bed. The place was exactly as listed, a spacious 1-bedroom in Williamsburg. The neighborhood was typical of Brooklyn neighborhoods and offered a variety of bars, eateries, and quick access to the subway. All in all, I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Franky again and was very pleased with the experience!

Comments: Franky was good at communication and follow up! Her place is an awesome location and very convenient to go into Manhattan. Everything was very easy to find in the apartment. She was a very gracious host and I would recommended anyone staying here.

Comments: The host canceled this reservation the day before arrival. This is an automated posting.

Comments: Franky was very accommodating during my stay and responded immediately to any question I had. The apt is beautiful, convenient and very spacious. Would highly recommend this space to anyone looking for a place to stay in NY.

Comments: The apartment was very clean and well kept. There are restaurants and transportation very close. I would recommend to anyone.

Comments: Everything was great!. Being a 5-10 minute walk from a subway station, Franky's home served as a great accommodation for our exploration of New York, both as a spacious, comfortable, and clean stay and as a centrally convenient location. Would stay again, and appreciative for Franky's hospitality. =)

Comments: Franky's place is EXCELLENT. Great location, really a lovely 1 bedroom apartment, and perfect communication. Franky left a perfect note, making sure I knew how the locks worked and ensuring I wouldn't lock myself out, along with a free pass for 2 to the Whitney museum. AWESOME! The big, comfy bed was perfect after the long nights out in Brooklyn. Being able to walk everywhere was phenomenal, but it was also dangerous. I couldn't say no to any friends due to distance or difficulty of travel! So I was out every single night at a great restaurant or bar or party. Wonderful location (sorry to mention it a million times). For those of you that are crazy about their clothes being perfectly pressed: Franky does have an iron / ironing board at her place. I was so grateful for that.

Comments: WE LOVE FRANKY'S APARTMENT! Gorgeous space, perfect location (in the same building as a delicious pizza joint and a bar; within walking distance to excellent restaurants, shops, etc). We would stay again in a heartbeat. Franky left us a welcome note and passes to a close-by museum. She was a wonderful host with great communication and I would absolutely recommend staying at her place if you're looking for a space in Williamsburg.

Comments: Franky's home was very clean, tidy, efficient and cozy! The location is a brief walk to the subway, and close to several good bars and restaurants. I would recommend her space to anyone looking to hunker down in Williamsburg for a visit.

Comments: This was my second time reserving and staying in Franky's space, and it was as clean, efficient and welcoming as my first stay. It is great to have a reliable spot to stay during my trips to NYC!

Comments: First let me say I am an Airbnb super host (as they call us) in Brooklyn and due to booking guests and needing to be in town I had to find a place nearby. Back to Franky. I am very familiar with what makes a good host and Franky was a great host. The apartment was fantastic and suited my needs perfectly. It is super super clean and it is decorated very nicely. While parking didn't come with it there is parking always available right under the expressway across the street. There is a great little bar in the base of the building where they serve lovely cocktails and no need to worry about any noise coming from there either. Only noise I could hear was typical of a city. Cars etc. but that wasn't bad either. And lastly the bed was incredibly comfortable so I was fast asleep at night and didn't hear a thing. I highly recommend Franky's place.

Comments: It was a wonderful home away from home with all of the amenities of home. Franky is extremely communicative and helpful. A perfect place to stay for a weekend or an extended stay!

Comments: This was a perfect place for our stay in NY. I loved that it was in a smaller area but just a short 10 min subway ride to Union Square. The best of both worlds! The place is very clean and uncluttered and I loved the bohemian decor. Super comfortable bed and pillows, perfect end to a busy day! It is right by a busy intersection so you do get traffic noise, however, it was not much more than my stay at the Renaissance hotel in midtown. I think that's just the norm for that area and it did not interrupt my sleep one bit. About the area: Beaner Bar OMG!! It's a short walk just south of the apartment and the Mexican Hot Chocolate or Mocha is just bliss! About a 5-7 minute walk you can enjoy Lella Alimentari an Italian Cafe that really sets the ambiance and you feel like you are in Italy! I just loved that these gems are so close to Franky's apartment and there are so many more to discover. If I find myself vacationing in NYC again, I will be looking Franky up again.

Comments: Excellent value for money away from the hustle and bustle of manhattan, but still only a short ride on the subway (stop at top of street) to explore all the sites. Franky was a lovely host, with excellent communication throughout my dealings. I would recommend this place no problem whatsoever.

  • Reviewer: Anita

Comments: Franky's place is accommodating and comfortable. She was quick to respond to any of my questions. The apartment is about a 15 minute walk to Bedford shops and restaurants. A bit of traffic noise from the near by overpass. Overall, really enjoyed the stay.

Comments: Franky was quick to respond to my requests and very accommodating. The place was very clean, and large for a New York apartment. It's an 8 minute walk to the L train and 5 minutes on the train to Manhattan. There's lot of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops on the street, but it's still quiet in the apartment. It's also close to the shops on Bedford St. I really loved my stay and will book this apartment again on my next visit to NYC.

Comments: Thoroughly enjoyed our 6 night stay at Franky’s apartment. The location is perfect for exploring everything Williamsburg has to offer (great shops, restaurants & bars), and a short walk to the L train gets you into the city fast. The apartment is bright, clean, uncluttered and tastefully decorated. Loved the plants, art & books. The bed is super comfy, AC works well, water pressure good...all the things that make for a comfortable stay. Communication was prompt and clear, check-in a breeze. We especially appreciated the fact that Franky was able to accommodate our request for an early check-in due to our early arriving flight. Would recommend Franky’s place without reservation and would definitely stay here again!

Comments: Franky, not only supplied a bevy of amenities, but also had thoughtful touches like earplugs in the nightstand to drown out sound from the bustling world outside. Franky was also lightning quick to respond to a question I had at 1am. That’s hospitality!

  • Reviewer: Anna

Comments: Brooklyng is a very nice place to stay and live so too. Bed was good, we slept very well. The but here is the noise. Flat is next to the way, and the window was not well closed due to an old conditioning air "installed" that let the noise come in. And of course, NY is noise. I recommend you to bring a good ear taps. Everything else was good. We didn't use the kitchen, so I can't evaluate that. Overall, good enough.

  • Reviewer: Maya

Comments: The flat is o.k, located in an old building near the highway (quite noisy).. the communication with the host was unpleasant- didn’t replay on time to my massages, and in general was not kind and helpful like other host of houses I have been..

  • Reviewer: Zachary

Comments: Our stay at Franky’s was perfect! It had everything we needed and was in a great area with lots of food and easy access to the subway. We had a really nice time and are thankful we had Franky’s apartment to return to each night. Thanks!
