Neighborhood Overview: We live in the centre of beautiful Mosman situated on Sydney's Lower North Shore. We are 5 min walk to a beautiful village filled with exclusive shops, restaurants and cafes. Our house is the perfect location for visiting executives with a trip to the city only 15 min away. The famous Balmoral Beach is a 15 min walk downhill. There is also a free bus to take you there and back. Mosman is surrounded by a National Park with beautiful bush and coastal walks. Minimum of 2 nights

Transit: We are only 2 min to buses which are direct to city, Chatswood, Northern beaches, Taronga zoo. We have a local ferry - 20 min easy downhill walk. Ferry goes to Circular Quay in the city.

Access: Kitchen (please no cooking but available for basic food preparation, use of microwave and BBQ), dining area, outside sitting area, front porch, basic internet, TV. Meals can be enjoyed in the dining room or outside in the beautiful courtyard. A cot is available if required.

Interaction: As little or as much as you want:-). We live in the house so we are around most of the time. We love having guests and we are very happy to offer you any advice you need.

House Rules: No parties or loud music. We are an older couple and love our home. We respect your privacy and quiet time so we would appreciate you respecting ours:-). No eating in the bedrooms please. The carpet is new and a guest spilt tea and left a mark which has been treated,hence strictness about no eating or food in the bedroomThe lounge area is a private space for the owners. In the Winter months reading in front of the open fire is allowed.

They both looked after us from the beginning and worked hard to ensure that our stay over NYE was as comfortable as possible even to the extent of driving us to a NYE fireworks viewing location...     Comments: We received a very friendly welcome from Robyn and her husband Ken. Robyn gave us a cup of tea in the garden as soon as we arrived. We immediately felt more like friends than paying guests. The room was spacious, and the bed comfortable. Robyn also made available a continental breakfast at a modest additional charge. Being able to put through a load of washing was a big bonus. Thanks both for a very pleasant stay!

    Comments: Robyn and Ken were lovely hosts. We arrived late the first night and they kindly made arrangements to accommodate that. They also let us leave our cases on the day we left so we could go to the beach and collect them in the afternoon. The house is on a quiet street, a short walk from the bus stop and some nice bakeries, cafes and restaurants. You can also walk or get the bus to Balmoral beach and Taronga zoo. Robyn and Ken even offered us a lift but we decided to walk down to the beach. We got the bus back as it's quite steep. We actually stayed in their other double room, not the one in the photo, but the two rooms looked essentially the same. A nice, comfortable room and bed. The bathroom is shared but that wasn't a problem. There were other guests too but we barely saw them.

    Comments: Robyn’s place is as beautiful as described, including the amenities. The location is great and near to shops, public transport and walking distance to Balmoral Beach. Robyn‘s house is tastefully furnished and you can enjoy your breakfast in their beautiful garden. We enjoyed walking through different streets to get to and from the beach. We also walked from Cremorne Point to Robyn‘s place via Mosman Bay and it is so beautiful and highly recommended.
