  Comments: The studio was perfect for a weekend in New York. The location is great, just a couple blocks from the train that goes straight into Manhattan and also just a couple blocks from a street full of cute restaurants and cafes. It's also under a 30 minute walk, or a couple train stops, away from "downtown" Williamsburg, which is a really cool, hip neighborhood. The space itself was impeccable - very clean, efficiently designed, with surprisingly plentiful storage between the closet and the space under the bed for our luggage. Having a full washer/dryer was convenient as well, and the bathroom was plenty spacious for two people to share. Plus, the studio is gorgeous!

  Comments: Getting the key and into Michael's was easy, he was very helpful when I locked myself out of the apartment and responsive to my request for a fan. The space is in the basement so walking up and down the stairs wasn't easy, but the decor and super nice finishes made up for it. Good neighborhood!

  Comments: This is a great place, Michael is a fantastic host and very accommodating. The space is small, but everything is brand new and super clean - just like a good capsule hotel room. Perfect for anyone just looking for a place to crash at night while making the most of the city. Right around the corner from the L, walking distance from so many great bars & restaurants in Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick...really can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a solid Brooklyn experience.

  Comments: My boyfriend and I really loved staying at Michael's place it was the perfect place for us. Very clean and a nice big bathroom, it was a lot like staying in a hotel. We never did meet Michael but he made our check in and check out extremely easy! Micheal was quick to answer any questions we had, he also left a map of places to eat close by. We really enjoyed staying here and recommend it to anyone else looking for a clean safe place to stay :)

  Comments: The place was very clean and well laid out. Very quiet without a lot of outside noise. Great neighborhood with a quick walk to restaurants, bars and subway. The only tricky part to the stay were the steep steps leading down to the apartment. Probably best for spring, fall and winter as the only cool air is from a fan. The host was very responsive and easy to work with and helpful.

  Comments: Michael was very helpful in providing instructions about how to get into the apartment. The apartment itself is a small self-contained studio in the basement of a nice building - bigger than many NYC hotel rooms, though not very spacious. The bed is incredibly comfortable, and shower excellent. Cooking facilities quite basic (kettle, microwave, fridge) but perfectly adequate for our needs, i.e. just breakfast and occasional snacks. Extremely quiet location but very close to lots of shops, restaurants etc. The area to the west towards Graham Ave. and beyond is great (Williamsburg) but going east less so. We really enjoyed our stay and also found it very convenient for Manhattan, just a few stops on the L subway line.

  Comments: For our first air BnB experience Michael has set the bar high! His apartment is the perfect size for a couple and it is immaculately presented. Conveniently located about a 5 min walk from the L train in Brooklyn and loads of restaurants and bars. Take advantage of the restaurants Michael suggests on the little 'info' sheet he leaves for guests, he knows what he's talking about! We didn't get the chance to meet Michael but he was very communicative throughout our whole stay, he made us feel welcome and was easily accessible if we had any problems. Can't rate this place highly enough, we will definitely be back!

  Comments: Upon arrival and during your stay we didn't meet Mickael but he sent us all the information we needed before and during our trip. He answered quickly by email. The apartment is simple, clean and modern. It corresponds perfectly to the photos. We loved this place. It looks like an upscale hotel room as there is no kitchen but just a microwave and fridge. The only downside is for people like us who love to walk barefoot on the way home, the floor is concrete. There are no tiles or parquet. It is gross feeling is not very pleasant. The descent to the apartment is hard with suitcases so not for the seniors :) In summary, I highly recommend this flat, well located near public transportation apartment.

  Comments: Great place to stay. Super convenient to the L train subway stop which takes you directly to Manhattan. Never met Micheal but he was very attentive and quick to respond to our needs. Loved the area. Lots of places to eat and explore within walking distance. The room is perfect for two people. I actually love how it's at garden level. Almost feels like you're going to your own little private bungalow! Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity comes again.

  Comments: Belle expérience dans le nouveau studio de Michael! Il n est pas très grand mais tous les espaces sont très bien utilisés. Il y a tout ce dont on a besoin. Jusque dans les petits détails (merci pour la prise US iPhone!). Le studio est donc très confortable, très moderne et très propre. J y reviendrai sans aucun doute lors de mon prochain voyage à NYC. Le quartier est plutôt résidentiel (calme, sécurisant) donc peu de restaurants tout près (mais ok pour des diners et petite restauration) mais la station de métro est juste à côté (3min à pied) et à 2 arrêts de Bedford Av. et Bushwick où il y a tout. Michael est adorable, serviable et à l écoute de ses invités. La communication à ete excellente avant et pendant le séjour. Je recommande donc ce logement à 100%!

  Comments: Great location, easy to get around and very close to subway . Very clean and exactly as was in the photos. Michael was very responsive and provided everything we needed for a great stay. Also, great to have a washing machine as it was a two week stay for us. The only significant downside for us was the studio is small (main room not much more space than the double bed) and had very little natural light. As such it's not good as a time-out location for when you need to take a day off on an extended visit. Also, the entrance is below ground and very steep. The studio will be unworkable if you are infirm or disabled. Overall, really great for up to a week stay. It's clean, private and easy to get around NYC from. If you're staying longer you might want to consider somewhere a bit larger.

  Comments: A nice studio for the ones who want to be close to the hustle and bustle of Bedford Avenue and those who are in search of a good night sleep. The location of the studio offers you the best of both worlds. Quiet neighborhood, original interior design, flexible owner and a good chance you find the perfect place for the perfect bagel in the morning (Bagelsmith), an original Sunday brunch (Okonomi) or a decent Pad Thai in the evening (Sage - be sure to get there before the kitchen closes at 22:30 as they they are unbelievably rigid). All within walking distance. Same goes for the nearest Subway station.

Loved the interior details, newly renovated shower, nice subtle architectural detailing and even the scented room (exactly the same as my own home). Michael's apt is close to all the action in Wburg and getting to Manhattan ain't a hassle as subways are really close. It was so comfortable we slept too long tbh :D

  Comments: L'host è stato molto discreto, ma sempre disponibile. Abbiamo comunicato esclusivamente via email (per comodità), e Michael ha sempre risposto nel giro di pochi minuti. Lo studio è carino e accogliente, molto pulito e dotato di quello che serve (asciugamani morbidi e abbondanti, saponi e shampoo, anche un microonde e un bollitore), armadio a muro, e riscaldamento a pavimento. Bagno grande, pulito e moderno. Si tratta però di un interrato, quindi la luce viene solo dalla portafinestra di ingresso. Inoltre, il pavimento è in cemento (con tappeti), il che guasta un po' l'atmosfera. D'estate potrebbe diventare parecchio caldo, ma c'è l'aria condizionata e un ventilatore. Il quartiere è tranquillissimo e di notte non si sente un rumore (che, per NY, è incredibile). Lo studio si raggiunge in 5' dalla fermata Grand St della L, camminando lungo la Powers (la strada consigliata da (Hidden by Airbnb) è meno indicata). Il quartiere non offre un gran che, ma già a qualche blocco di distanza si arriva a Soho e Noho che sono molto più carini. Per arrivare a Manhattan ci vogliono circa 30', da casa a Time Square, via metro. Noi siamo rimasti 3 giorni, e dopo un po' di disorientamento iniziale, che credo sia inevitabile per chi arriva a NY per la prima volta, siamo rimasti molto contenti della posizione dello studio, in quanto è comoda al centro, servita dalla metro a tutte le ore, in un quartiere tranquillo e silenzioso. Noi siamo sempre rientrati dopo mezzanotte e non abbiamo avuto alcun problema ne' in metro ne' per strada. Michael è stato anche disponibile a tenerci le valige l'ultimo giorno, anche se abbiamo lasciato l'appartamento la mattina. Le abbiamo recuperate la sera, in quanto lo studio è lungo il tragitto in metro per andare verso al JFK.

  Comments: The stay at Michael's place was great. It has everything you need and is in a great neighbourhood that is only a 2 minute walk from the train. The legs were a bit loose on the bottom of the bed and Michael fixed the issue right away. My flight also didn't leave until midnight the day I was checking out and Michael was very accomodating and let me leave my luggage in the apartment and keep the keys until I had to catch my flight. Everything was extremely convenient and painless.

  Comments: My stay was fine, having only used the property 4/6 nights. Although self-contained; probably unfair to categorise as "entire home" category. It is essentially a converted basement, separated from the owner's property upstairs by a single door. Footsteps/noise (having heard two very clear phone calls in the room above) from upstairs are pretty clear, so do not expect full noise privacy in this regard. Michael was moderately responsive to enquiries by text. Nitpicking; but there was only 1/2 a roll of toilet paper in bathroom on arrival. That said; very close to subway, <10 mins to the island. Williamsburg a good spot.

  Comments: Michael's place is perfect for a couple looking for a quiet and clean place in a great part of town. The design and layout is awesome, super modern and clean. The bed is very comfy and the shower is top notch. My favorite thing about this place is how quiet it is at night. Even on a Saturday! It made getting a good night's sleep more than easy. The subway station is only a five minute walk away, making it super easy to get around town. Michael also checked in on us to make sure we were settled in. Key pick up and check in is easy as well. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

A wonderful, cool (both well-designed and temperature) space – found in the heart of East Williamsburg – with great things to do nearby and so close to the subway, so you can easily get anywhere. We loved living like a local again, while being back in our old neighborhood for a wedding and Michael's apartment served as a great place to rest and recharge between festivities. We would definitely stay with Michael again!

  Comments: Was impressed with this Air BnB was a first time user, my original rental unit was canceled on me the night before my trip to Brooklyn, Michael was extremely easy to get into contact with which was great since i had to find a place to stay short notice the night before my trip. On my arrival the check in and grabbing the key was easy which was great since i checked in a little later than expected, this is close to public transportation so navigating out of Brooklyn is quick. The area felt safe for my first time being in New York, the space is very nice and cozy would recommend checking out Michael's place if you are in the area and need a spot to stay!

  Comments: Great location for taking the subway! There were some nice little coffee shops within walking distance as well. The suite is well organized, clean and had everything we needed. We REALLY appreciated early check in after a red eye flight and the ease with which we checked in. The mattress is quite firm and there was some upstairs noise but only ever during the day.   Comments: Nice place to stay. Nearby metro and supermarket and in quiete neighborhood. Michael is a good host. But he mentioned the wrong door to us to open when arrived. We arrived 2 am and couldn’t reach him. Therefore we needed to book a hotel for the first night, because we coudn’t enter the appartement. The next day he called us to say sorry and gave us a refund for the hotelcosts. And a few days there was some noice upstairs beginning around 9 am. Michael was installing new cabinets in his house. But he warned us, and for us that was no problem because we where already awake. The appartement was clean, stylish and there were good facility’s.

We couldn't enter the appartement straight away because of absence of the key - but Michael helped us right away. If you're looking for the "AirBNB experience" aka get to know someone, search further. If you're looking for a nice apartment and you don't mind not meeting the renter, this one is great.

  Comments: Super clean and minimalistic design. Love it! Our event ended up getting canceled, but we had lots of options and places to go to around the area. The studio has plenty of mirrors and lighting for bomb selfies, and the shower was glorious. We did go in a rainy weekend so definitely watch your step going up and down the stairs.

  Comments: Absolutely amazing space, really makes you feel apart of Brooklyn. There are lots of shops and bars within walking distance and the Train into Manhattan is just a few blocks away. The space was clean and stocked with all you need. Michael is a very nice guy and was super quick in replying to messages, will defiantly stay again when I’m back in the city!

  Comments: Un studio au niveau de toutes nos attentes. Bien équipé, bien décoré, et bien localisé, ce logement est parfait pour visiter New York. Il est à 2 pas du métro qui va directement à Manhattan. Le lit est très confortable et la salle de bain est impeccable. Nous recommandons vivement le logement de Michael qui pour sa part à toujours était présent au bon moment.

  Comments: We stayed in the studio for 3 nights and had a good time. The studio is located in a nice area, Cafés, restaurants, etc. are in walking distance. The studio is small, but well equipped and nicely designed. It was very clean. It’s perfect for one person and also applicable for a couple.

Made it easy to get into Manhattan. They were very accommodating, and surprised us with having the apartment available early! The shower was awesome! Would recommend!

  Comments: - very nice small appartment located in the basement of the hosts' house - check-in, check-out and communication in general was absolutely smooth and hands-on - exploited available (limited) space very sophisticated by making use of small niches - everything that is necessary for a short trip to NYC is provided (fridge, hairdryer, etc.) - good matress - generous rain shower and, in general, best equipped bathroom we had during a 3-weeks-roundtrip (including 4* hotels) - location ideal for exploring Brooklyn and close to Manhattan (20-25min) - travel time to JFK approx. 1 hour by Metro and AirTrain - maybe only downside (which is, however, not applicable in most cases): no real sound insulation between bathroom and main room. OK for a couple, might be more challenging for travellers who are less familiar with each other.. ;) --> fully recommend Michaels and Dannys place, we'd come back for sure Thanks once more

  Comments: It was a real pleasure to stay in Michael and Danny’s studio flat. We have been for a week in Williamsburg and we found everything we needed in the studio. It is probably the most stylish place we have visited through airbnb, cosy, very clean and well located in the borough (the L line to Union Square is less than 5 minutes by walk and Bedford avenue is only 3 stops).We didn’t have problems with the check in and check out and it was very easy to contact Michael and Denny which have been very helpful. Great experience!

  Comments: Super locatie, je bent zo bij de metro (L lijn). In de buurt zelf zijn ook genoeg restaurantjes en is een supermarkt. De verhuurders helpen waar nodig en reageren snel op een bericht.

  Comments: The location of Danny & Michael property is perfect, it is close to the trendy part of Williamsburg. The line L is very close and the connection to any other line to go to Manhattan and arounds is very good. The place is very cozy, the bed is comfortable and we could rest properly after busy touristic days. Danny was very attentive to our needs. If we return to NY, we would like to stay again in Danny & Michael place

  Comments: This studio is a great place to stay, we were there for 8 days. Michael and Danny were great hosts and made check-in/-out incredibly easy. The former was especially convenient as we weren’t arriving into New York until very late in the evening. The studio itself is super cute, small but has everything you need and is very well laid out. The bed is incredibly comfortable and we were provided with everything we needed (spare towels etc). The washing machine was a great bonus too and saved us having to take much luggage. As other reviewers have mentioned it’s a great location - very easy and quick to get to Manhattan on the subway. Walking distance or just 1-2 subway stops from loads of great bars and restaurants in Williamsburg and other parts of Brooklyn. Highly recommend staying here.

  Comments: Great studio apartment! Space is well organized and stylish. My husband enjoyed the repetition of lines throughout the space. It is close to a subway so very easy to get into Manhattan. We enjoyed the restaurants and bars within walking distance: Interboro, Grimm, Masha and the Bear. Our hosts had great communication skills and were attentive.
