  Comments: Loved the stay. Joanne was an excellent host. Place was really neat and tidy when we arrived. The Location is perfectly located in downtown Waikiki. Walking distance to many nearby attractions and restaurants. Check in was very easy. Also, the free parking space saved us a lot of money since Parking is normally $20/night.

  Comments: Jooannah's '2bedroom Sweet Home Sleeps 6' is walking distance to the beach and many shops/restaurants. My parents and I were in Honolulu for a quick 2-night stay to see the Pearl Harbor memorials, so we liked that the building was on the Northern side of Waikiki, closer to the harbor... but that means we did have to take a cab to go the restaurants/bars closer to central Waikiki. The unit was spacious and clean. It was nice to have the central air conditioning.

  Comments: The apartment is exactly as the photos. It takes several minutes to walk to the waikiki and Alamoa Center and several restaurant. Since the host can speak Chinese, it was so easy for us to communicate with her. We had a really good time staying in Ouhu island.

Getting on to the main highway (H1) is so easy. Jooannah was a wonderful host - she was very proactive and responsive and made everything easy. I would absolutely recommend the place.

  Comments: I'd say the house was good. BUT, SO MANY BUGS. That's what came into our sight when we first opened the door. Bugs were all over the kitchen, dinning table, walls, on the ground and even in the bathroom. I would recommend the host to hire a pest control company. That was definitely a disgusting experience. Also, the host did not reply to messages on airbnb after accepting the request. I felt a bad communication with the host. In a word, I would not recommend this property.

  Comments: The process to get settled and leave was pretty simple and painless with the use of pinned lockboxes. No need to wait or meet up. All the amenities are are updated and modern. The place was very clean. Location was great, it was walking distance or close to a bus stop to reach any location we wanted to go. One problem might be the black mold/stain on the ceiling in the bathroom. The other problem was the bugs, but that's not a host problem, there were notices everywhere around the building notifying of a pest control sweep about to happen so this might be a non-issue by now. Overall it was a great experience and would rent from any of her locations again.

  Comments: Jooannah's place was awesome! Just as pictured on the website, excellent location, a very short walk or Uber ride to Waikiki beach. AC was nice to have, and we found the apartment to be very peaceful for being in such a busy part of town. She was not available when I checked in but gave me contact info ahead of time for someone else who was very helpful in getting me into the apartment. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking!

The pool isn't much but with the beach within walking distance, it's not an issue. Make sure to clean up after yourself as any apartment in Oahu has little buggies that can out at night.

  Comments: As advertised, in a great location within walking distance to everything. Stocked w/essentials (pots, pans, utensils, body wash, etc.) to make your stay as comfy as possible. Stayed a week and spotted two roaches but none after that. It wasn't bad enough to the point of not staying. Host was very helpful when needed. Wasn't a fan of having to use the key for everything in the building but got used to it. I would definitely stay again. Thanks Jooannah.

  Comments: This is a clean, well located condo within 15 min walk of everything. Public transport across the road and hotels nearby for booked tours. Building is safe and secure and Jooannah has made the place very comfortable and welcoming. Easily sleeps 5 without everyone getting on top of each other and plenty of hot water. Light sleepers would need earplugs in the front room as the road below can get pretty busy on Friday and weekend nights. Overall we had a great stay and would highly recommend Jooannah's place as a great place to base yourself during your holiday.

Jooannah was a good host who was ready to answer our questions. We stayed there with a group from work and there was enough room for 6 of us. There are lots of shops, beaches, bus stops and places to eat within walking distance if you don't rent a car. We would recommend this place to groups or family's looking to save a bit on expenses.

  Comments: Jannah's place is exactly like the picture shows. We didn't get the meet her in person. But she communicates well thought email and text to make sure we check in ok. Place is about 15 minutes walk to the beach. One thing is not very convenient is the park. Either you have to pay $30 a day for parking or steer parking is not that easy to find.

The cheeseburger restaurant across the street has a great breakfast and a great menu with very friendly staff. We had an awesome week in Waikiki and truly enjoyed the location and the area. The location was great, only a short walk to shopping, breweries, the beach, etc. The condo is adorable and clean. Jooannah was extremely accommodating with our late request for both check in and check out, and we greatly appreciated that!   Comments: The apartment was located in a little bit if a shady area. Homeless lunatics wandering the street outside yelling and screaming was a daily part of our routine. There was also the sound of ambulances and fire trucks to serenade us to sleep. The apt is close to Waikiki beach but the building is dank and run down. I was not thrilled with the roaches that greeted me as I opened the microwave door each morning or the kitchen cabinets. I understand that Hawaii has a lot of roaches on the Island we can’t always control what our neighbors do. It is extremely difficult to control each facet of an apartment especially when you are out of town. The cleaning service was mainly to blame for the bugs.I entered the apartment and opened a cabinet door to find opened chips and other snacks left over from the last guest. There was grime and filth next to the garbage, fridge and stove. The cabinets were sticky and the counters weren’t properly wiped down. The one good thing I can say about my experience was that Joanna and Dave were sympathetic to our plight and send an exterminator and an extra deep cleaning service. I wish I would have chosen a different apartment.

  Comments: 하와이에서 별하나도 아까운집입니다 일단 저희가 일정이 꼬여 급하게 예약하고 메시지로 당일 입실가능하다기에 예약하고 airbnb에서는 당일숙박이 선택되지 않아 그중 하루는 현금 120불 달래서 주었습니다 숙소는 시끄럽고 주변이 모두 일방이라 조금만 벗어나도 찾기 어려웠고 사진과 달리 어둡고 오래된 낡은 아파트에요 수영장은 있지만 좁은 풀에 남자들이 가득해서 사용하고 싶지 읺았어요. 문제는 그날 동생이 아파서 급하게 한국으로 돌아가는 항공권으로 변경하고 다음날분 수수료 50프로 패널티를 감안하고 취소했구 단 하룻밤을 묶었습니다 호스트는 에어비엔비 메세지 대신 계속해서 전화로 대화를 시도했습니다.동생이 아프고 예민해진 상태라 통화를 할수없었는데 호스트의 항의로 하룻밤에 계속 추가결제가 이루어져 모두 700달러 가까이를 지불한 샘입니다 원래 가격은 260달러였습니다 이 문제로 상의하자고 9시30분에 만나기로 두번이나 통화 해놓고 약속시간에 여러번 전화해도 받지 않고 한참 기다린 후에야 다른 대리인이 와서 airbnb랑 대화해보라는 말만 반복하였습니다. 가격은 저렴하지만 밤새 도로소음이 시끄럽고 지저분하고 치안도 위험하고 접근이 불편하며 매우 악질적인 호스트이므로 추천하고 싶지 않습니다 참고하세요. 주차는 25달러 옆건물 주차빌딩을 사용하기 위해서는 여러번의 일방통행도로를 거쳐야 합니다

The location is exactly where my friends and I wanted to be. We were walking distance to everything we wanted to do in Waikiki. There’s a scooter rental company and restaurants adjacent to the Royal aloha complex and a 7-11 and abc stores across the street. Also super close to the airport. The place is great. Very nice and clean. On some Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in the pictures are a bit misleading but not Jooannah’s. The pictures were spot on as to what you get. Plenty of room in common spaces and a nice balcony overlooking downtown Waikiki. Next time I visit Waikiki I am definitely staying at Jooannah’s again.

  Comments: There is a 7/11 right next door, an ABC store around the corner and a couple local restaurants. It was A bit noisy at night sometimes if you are a light sleeper. We left some pool floats in the kitchen along with some sunscreen for future airbnbers. There is WiFi and lots of outlets around the condo!

The location of the Airbnb is located at a great location that is close to Waikiki with just a few minutes of walking. Basic needs and necessities can be found in the apartment. The only issue with this place was that their was a slight pest problem, which I know is out of the hosts hands if it comes from an old building. All in all it was a great stay!   Comments: I want to say she is such a great hostess; she was super accommodating. She met up with us and Explained everything in the apartment and gave us tips on where to go and what to do. During the hurricane threat she even called and checked up on on us. She even accommodated to our checkout time due to understanding that I had my elderly parents with me. My mom loves her and wants return back to Hawaii and would only want to stay at her place. We stayed there for eight nights. She had enough towels and toiletries to last us our entire stay. Her kitchen was equipped to make your own meals there and have your coffee. She has central air and the two bedroom more spacious enough to fit about six people in that 2 bedroom apartment. We Only had a party of three and it was a perfect size . loved it.

The apartment is quite noisy from the air conditioning and the road, however I guess that is due to the conveniently central location. Joannah was very helpful, accommodating and informative. Overall we had a great stay in Sweet Waikiki.

If you want to get to central beach, it’s a $7 Lyft drive. The outside area isn’t super desirable but the inside of her place is clean, cutely decorated and plenty of sleeping space.   Comments: It was located in a very convenient spot to access to either beach or fwys. Jooannah was also very cooperative for communication. Couple things I could say are... we were only given 1 towels per guest for entire 4 days... luckily i did bring some of my own towels. Also, starting from big to tiny cockroaches were welcoming us which wasn’t quite pleasant.

  Comments: Jooannah's place was incredibly clean! The location was pretty great spot, pretty central to everything. We didn't realize street parking was so troublesome, so if you have a car, it is a huge headache to constantly search for parking unless you want to pay for the hotel parking ($25/night). We had some small roaches that came out at night but I think this is just because the building is old and will probably see this all around Oahu. Overall, Jooannah was very responsive and a great host for our lovely stay.

Although the address is on Ala Wai the entrance is on McCully with a short flight of stairs. Check in was a bit confusing. The building is old and dated but has a wonderful coffee shop next door. The decor of the condo is dated but is very clean. We had plenty of room for our family of 4 plus infant. It was very convenient to have the washer and dryer down the hall. Even though there was a fee of $50, with an infant we appreciated Joannah allowing us both an early and late checkout.
