Great places to eat all located within walking distance (especially brunch at The Rabbit Hole and coffee at The Sweatshop.) Katie was flexible with our arrival/departure times and we were thoughtfully welcomed with a box of personal care items to use during our stay. We would be happy to stay at this apartment again, and plan to recommend it to all of our friends!

  Comments: This was my first experience with airbnb. I thought it was pretty neat that she used keycafe, which I learned was a key exchange service provided by a nearby cafe. It was easy to get the keys once proving your identity, so everything is super secure. Katie's apartment located a few steps away was just what we needed. Cozy, clean, and in the heart of Williamsburg. She had anything and everything you need to make yourself comfortable. she didn't bother us but was eager to help i.e. suggest great food places when we asked. Even though we didn't meet her face to face, the experience was smooth, completely convenient and secure especially for two young ladies roaming around NYC. I can't wait to rent from her again.

Het appartement van Katie voelt als thuis. Het was schoon en ruim voor twee personen. Het bed, het matras is erg goed we hebben heerlijk geslapen. Unfortunately, it was very cold in NY while we were visiting and there was no heating in the apartment. Also the WIFI supplied was a dongle which didn't really work properly or fast enough and made it difficult to check/reply to emails. Overall, great apartment and communication with Katie was easy - just a few issues.

  Comments: Our stay at Katie's apartment was great! To get the keys was super easy, no worries! When we look at the map we thought it might be far from the metro but when we got there we saw that is very close, as the neighborhood is beautiful it was great to walk to the subway! The location is super safe, we did not feel unsafe at any time, even at night! The apartment Katie is beautiful, spacious and very clean! Made orders over the internet and Katie was very helpful and quick to doubts as to receive the package! The only thing I have to score is on the bed of Katie who is very good and we could not wake up early to enjoy it haha! I have no doubt where to stay next time in NY!

Smack dab in the center of Williamsburg and all it has to offer. My only caveat is the (Website hidden by Airbnb) location is on the corner of a very busy street so at night we had to sleep with our white noise app on. Other than that, perfect.

  Comments: A estadia no apartamento da Katie foi bem boa. Ela nos passou todas as orientações e tudo ocorreu como combinado. Tinha tudo o que precisávamos. A localização é ótima, perto do metrô e com muita oferta de comércio e restaurantes em volta. As únicas coisas que foram um pouco incômodas foram: o aquecedor, que talvez por falta de conhecimento eu não conseguia ajustar, e estava bastante frio. A internet é muito limitada, e, mesmo só com emails, era bastante lenta (viajantes muitas vezes dependem da internet!). O fato de não haver ganchos ou qualquer espaço para colocarmos nossas coisas e casacos, além das próprias malas, o que fez com que nossas coisas ficassem bem bagunçadas.

  Comments: Katie's apartment is in a brilliant location (my girlfriend felt very safe in the area), close to the subway, there was a fully set up kitchen and is in general, a spacious/beautiful apartment. She was very accommodating and we had a great stay. The only downside about this place is that there is not very good internet, so no watching netflix to relax at night (though it's fine for researching the area).

The apartment was roomy and comfortable. There needs to be some hooks or hangers for guests to put clothing. A place in the bathroom to place toiletries would have been helpful. The apartment is great, with a fully equipped kitchen, a big living room and a big super comfortable bed. It is spacious and in great condition. Katie was very helpful when we asked for help and she even let us check out at 5 p.m. so we wouldn't have to look for a locker where we could store our two big luggages. If you are planning to spend time in New York I definitely recommend you to stay at Katie's.

  Comments: Amazing apartment on Bedford Avenue, main street of Brooklyn. Just three stops away from Union Square. Within steps of all kinds of great restaurants and coffee shops on every corner. Our favorites were Joe's Pizza across from Fabian's coffee shop, brunch at Sweet Chick and Rosamunde's Sausage Grill. Katie is helpful and we got all help we needed. If you are traveling to JFK airport try booking UBER since other taxis cost about $42. Hope you enjoy staying there, we would definitely go back ! :)

  Comments: I've lived up in New York for 7 years, now back in the South where I grew up. Two of those years was spent in Brooklyn, one of my favorite places on earth. I knew when I was planning my trip that I would prefer to be around Bedford Ave in Williamsburg. Finding Katie's apartment was awesome it was in the exact location I wanted to be, right near the L, you can't find a better spot. Katie's apartment is an absolute gem. It's near some of the greatest food and bars not only in Brooklyn, but the whole island of Manhattan (**make sure to try Rabbit Hole's eggs benny if you're a brunch lover). Her bed and that lovely couch were so comfortable and inviting to come back to after a long day walking around. My sister and I had everything we needed for our stay and she was incredibly quick with responding to any questions we had about key pick up and drop off. Thank you Katie for letting us live in your world for a little while, what a fun place to be!!! Rent this place ladies and gents, you will NOT be disappointed.

  Comments: Katie is a really kind host and even if we didn't have the pleasure to meet her personally she has been very present via e-mail for any necessity since the very first contacts. The apartment is beautiful, large and confortable, perfect for 2 people and for short or long stay. It is situated in Williamsburg that is perfect for the nightlife and surely one of the most interesting districts in New York. The metro is very close (5 minutes walk) and in very short time you can get in Manhattan (1 stop!). I strongly recommend Katie's apartment to any of you!!!!!

They have great selections of amazing desserts along with excellent coffee for a great price. Katies place was roomy and comfortable and she made communication with her very easy.   Comments: Staying at Katie’s home in Williamsburg was the best decision ever! Conveniently located on Bedford Avenue with easy access to the L train, this is the perfect place to discover Williamsburgh, Brooklyn and Manhattan from. The apartment looks exactly as on the pictures, very cosy and inviting and perfectly comfortable for 2 people. We slept well in the very comfortable bed and enjoyed nice relaxing evenings on the huge sofa. I can only recommend this place and will stay there again next time I come to NYC!

  Comments: Great place my only issue was the noise. The place is not double glazed glass so you can hear the street and what's happened pretty clearly. I had to use ear plugs to fall asleep as it was just to disturbing for me. That would be my only negative as everything else was great.

  Comments: If you want to be in Williamsburg - this is the place to be! It's unbelievably central - you're in the heart of it all here. Walk to shops, restaurants, cafes and bars with minutes. The apartment was perfect for a weekend trip - comfortable, cozy, and airy. The space has everything you need for a stay, including great views of Bedford Ave. The building felt safe and secure. Saturday night street noise did get a bit lively so you may want to bring some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Katie was so great to communicate with every step of the way.   Comments: Katie's place was perfect for us, as it was right in the heart of vibrant Williamsburg, and the Bedford Avenue L-Train which we knew we'd be using a lot. It's even bigger that it looks in the pictures. The sofa is comfy, the shower is powerful and the bed is huge. Only thing I would recommend is to pack some hangers as being a woman I had lots of things to hang up! Katie was efficient with the booking, and the key-code details were sent a few days before we arrived, and key pick-up was easy. A great base, and even better with the use of a dishwasher, the apartment being situated in a secure block and near to essential transport links including of course Williamsburg Bridge!

The apartment is very well located: close to many stores, restaurants, bars, including a spacious Whole Foods. It is easy to get to Manhattan since the apartment is only a five-minute walk from the subway station. The apartment is clean, quiet, and well-equipped. The only problem that we encountered was our inability to turn on the television despite Katie's explanations. (The problem may have been related to our digital ineptitude.) Katie accomodated our request to remain in the apartment for an extra five hours, at no additional charge, which we really appreciated.

However, we were a bit puzzled over by her list of do's and don'ts - it was very long and demanding, especially if we consider that the house wasn't that clean in the first place.

The check-in and check-out process is very convenient, you just have to go to a deli nearby (open 24x7) to get the keys and drop off on the same location in a locker. Me and my wife had a wonderful week there and would love to come back as soon a we have a new opportunity.
