  Comments: Tiziana is simply a delightful host! She met me at the nearby Hotel Barceló Raval and accompanied me to her precious little apartement on the third floor. The place was immaculately clean and the room beautifully prepared, and the bed most comfortable. Tiziana is charming, accomodating and speakes several languages. I enjoyed my stay thoroughly and look forward to returning there on my next trip to Barcelona.

It's located on Raval; a famous and popular neighborhood. Plenty a small shops and restaurants. And very near to Las Ramblas and the heart of Barcelona, beaches, port, ...   Comments: Tizz was an amazing host! She is very nice and helpful and genuinely cares about her guests. Her apartment is in a very central location - easy walking distance to most sights as well as the metro. It is also a very comfortable apartment with good amenities. Disponibile in tutto, accogliente come solo le persone sincere e solari sanno fare, Tiziana ci ha regalato una vacanza straordinaria! L'appartamento si trova in una posizione invidiabile (Le Ramblas, tra i quartieri più famosi di Barcellona) e a pochi passi dai collegamenti metro, in un punto strategico da cui partire per raggiungere le altre attrazioni della città. Pulito, accogliente, carino nella sua semplicità e dotato di ogni confort (aria condizionata, wifi, ecc...), è risultato perfettamente corrispondente alla descrizione e alle immagini dell'annuncio.

  Comments: Tizz' place is absolutely great. It is very cosy, the balcony is wonderful in the modning for breakfast and the apartment is situated perfectly close to the Rambla and the Harbour. On top of that Tizz is such a nice and pleasent host and the room, bathroom and kitchen is always so nice and clean. Tizz has, too, been very helpfull answering questions quickly before arrival, and when we arrived late at night she came to pick us up at the bus stop. Everything at Tizz' place worked out wonderfully well - go :)

  Comments: Tizz was a great host, she welcomed us warmly and is a fun person to talk to. She really cares about her guests and made us recommendations on sightseeing plans and even once helped us out with spare shoes. We enjoyed her company a lot. The apartment itself is newly renovated and has a nice wooden floor, very clean and modern bathroom and is generally a great cozy place to live. The only thing you should keep in mind (as Tizz already stated in the description) is that the neighborhood is quite loud and it therefore might be hard to relax for some people. Tizz provided free ear buds to against that, which made it better. The location of the apartment is really good! It is just a 2 minutes walk to La Rambla and only 5 minutes to the harbour. Overall, we had a great time at this place and were 100% happy with it. We can warmly recommend staying there.

Also very close to the metro and various modes of transport.   Comments: My host Tizz was great! She was friendly and helpful. she thinks in advance of what you might need and treats you like family. She has a great heart. I left a week ago and we're still in touch and she helps me with any questions I have about Barcelona. The apartment is super cute. There is a balcony attached so that was a nice feature. Apt was very clean and had the things you would need. The area personally I prefer over gothik and born which is why I'll head back there for my last week in Barcelona.

  Comments: We (3 persons) had a great stay at her apartment. We stayed over weekend, arriving Friday at Midnight, and Tizz picked us up at the airport, which was very very convenient. She was friendly and helpful. The apartment is located right in the middle of the centre, very very convenient. The street itself is a bit lousy, but not too bad after all. It has no elevator and only small stairs, so take care if you want to take a lot of luggage. The apartment is small but beautiful, with a balcony, beds, clothes rack, towels, etc. Super clean and has everything you need. Recommended.

  Comments: Tizz was a really warm and welcoming host . The communication before we arrived at BCN was really great so we found the apartment straight away. She wrote several messages asking about our arrival time and our flight number and sent us perfect description to the apartment. Just cool !! The apartment is newly renovated and kept really clean all the time . It has a double bedroom with a balcony and an extra sofa , a living room with a new kitchen, a clean and very comfy bathroom and of course tizz's room . We had the double bedroom with the extra sofa and I simply can say it was perfect for a couple like us . Tizz wasn't at home most of the time which made us few as if the apartment belongs to us ;) it's no problem to use everything in the house such as the oven or the fridge . Tizz also has some good tips for you if you have never been to Barcelona before . Especially some good restaurant tips . Within a 3 minute walk from the apartment you reach La Rambla and about a 10 minutes walk to Placa Catalunya. There is even a supermarket directly across the street. If you really want to have a good time in such a beautiful city and also want to fell like you are actually living in Barcelona not just stepping by as a tourist I just warmly can recommend Tizz's place.

  Comments: First of all thank you Tizz for having my boyfriend and I! Everything was awesome and we couldn't have asked for a better location than your apartment. The flat was just as pictured and very clean. The bed was super comfy and although the street was a bit noisy (almost all are in a lively town such as Barcelona) we slept very well. Tizz was a very considerate host, for example she provided ear plugs, towels and slippers. Concerning the neighborhood: One night our taxi driver commented that it's a "bad neighborhood", but that's only a bad reputation - we always felt safe. We would always come back, because we were super central, there lots of restaurants & bars are around the corner, and it's a 5 minute walk to Las Ramblas, a metro station and the harbor is also close by.

  Comments: Tizz is an extremely accommodating, reliable and helpful hostess. Right from the start, from the minute I made my reservation to when my plane landed she made everything run smoothly and feel so easy. Her instructions we easy and her English is very good! I'm sure traveling used to be much more complicated thank this! I can only put this down to how much effort Tizz puts into making sure your stay runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. The location of the apartment is so convenient, it's walking distance to the main attractions yet away from the touristy spots so quite safe from pick pockets. We joked that it is safer to have prostitutes around the corner than to stay on Las Ramblas with all the pick-pockets. I felt very safe in this area, with Tizz inside information you will feel like you get to experience a little bit of what it's like to live in Barcelona rather than to simply visit. I believe this is the very premise of what Airbnb was built on! Thank you Tizz, you do such a good job and were so generous. I would stay with Tizz again and highly recommend her room to friends and family and other Airbnb users, particularly for the solo female traveller!

  Comments: The location of the room is really great. The appartment was clean and Tizz gave us a lot of tips where to go. You can close the blinds and it is dark in your room, so you can sleep late without sun that wakes you up.

The apartment was spotlessly clean and having access to Tizz's kitchen was great. The location of the apartment is fantastic. We've stayed in Barcelona a few times and found this to be the best location for us. It's within easy walking distance of many local attractions in the city centre and is close to the metro so getting around to other parts of the city is really easy. It seems that everyone that writes a review for Tizz's place has to mention the fact that it's in the red light district but this seriously was not a problem at all, we walked around at night without any concerns and the street outside was really quiet at night. Tizz was the perfect host, the apartment is lovely and in a great location. I wouldn't hesitate to stay with Tizz again, highly recommended!

  Comments: We had the loveliest stay with Tizz in her great little apartment which is ideally located just a very short walk from La Rambla. The room was really spacious, comfortable and clean, with a small pretty balcony, perfect for my friend and I who were there for 4 nights for a city break! Tizz was wonderfully welcoming and had so many great recommendations for restaurants, bars and the best parts of the beach to head to. She gave us very clear directions from the airport and met us at a meeting point. We hope to be back again soon as we absolutely love Barcelona and would love to stay here again :)

  Comments: I just had 2 days in barce. The room is very nice, clean, as images. The host is so kind and helpful, even she helped us to carry heavy luggage. She often went outside, so we have full of space. The area is quite near La Rambla, just 5 minutes on walk.

  Comments: The location of the apartment was ideal and had many great restaurant options close by. Safety was not a concern given the neighborhood's history. Tiziana has a very thoughtful, comprehensive guidebook with a lot of touristy and local places. She was also very responsive, which was much appreciated when one of us got an injury and needed to go to the hospital. The downside was we were told to be extremely quiet and basically whisper or be completely silent whenever we were in front of the apartment or inside the stairwell in order to not disturb the neighbors due to AirBnb regulations in Barcelona. Considering the street was often far louder at night than we were, not really sure if it was really necessary. However, all in all, it was a good stay.

  Comments: Tizz was fantastic, so helpful and thorough. As others have mentioned, very small stairs lead up to this third floor apartment. You're in fairly close quarters, but she's very respectful of your space. she also provided lots of helpful suggestions and checked in with us every day to make sure everything was ok. This apartment is an easy 10 minute walk from la Rambla but you are obviously in the red light district for the first few minutes of that ten. That being said, it never felt unsafe in any way. This was a great place to stay to explore Barcelona!

  Comments: Very nice place to stay and it was very clean, convenient and close to almost everywhere. Metro station is nearby so you can take it and go anywhere! Area that place is located has bad reputation but we never felt unsafe. It actually seems one of the safest place in the city since police is around and there are cameras everywhere. Tizz was also very easy to talk and she always provided us very good recommendations. Overall it's a great place.

  Comments: Tizz was an amazing host and her home is in a great location in the middle of the city. There is a great restaurant literally less than one block away that stays open late and the neighborhood is relatively safe. It is in the red light district so there were assumed prostitutes hanging around but I didn't see it as a problem as they were not boisterous or disruptive to our vacation. I felt very safe walking around with my wife late at night. All in all, I couldn't think of a better place to stay!

  Comments: Tizz was really responsive and made the check in process really smooth. The area - Raval is really cool with lots of bars and restaurants, we really felt like we were living like locals. Tizz is really friendly and gave us a list of recommendations on the first day, the room is nice and clean and has everything we needed for our 3 night stay. You're in close proximity to everything, especially the gothic district which was our favourite area with lots of cool bars. La posizione è ottima, a due minuti sia dalla Rambla che dalla Rambla del Raval, ed a due passi dal mitico Bar Marseilla. Tizz è stata una host gentilissima, dandoci molti consigli ed aiuti, ed al tempo stesso discreta e disponibile. Super consigliato!

The location is absolutely perfect for being close enough to access both the touristy bits as well as more local bars and restaurants in El Raval and surrounding areas. Tizz couldn't have made the trip any easier for us, assisting us with transport tips from start to finish, and providing us with a local's insight into the nearby attractions.   Comments: Tizz is super friendly and makes you feel right at home! It's a quick walk to Las Ramblas and the Gothic Quarter, and the little plaza by the apartment is great as well. We found it noisy at night but Tizz provided us with ear plugs which were helpful.

Quando avevamo qualche domanda Tizz era sempre disposta a darci una mano. Il quartiere è molto rumoroso ma lei lo ha sempre detto chiaro, inoltre con i doppi vetri e i tappi per le orecchie (in dotazione) non si sente nulla. Noi i tappi per le orecchie non li abbiamo nemmeno usati, i doppi vetri erano sufficienti! Nel quartiere capita spesso di incontrare polizia perché tutta la zona è molto controllata, nonostante prostitute ect mi sono sempre sentita tranquilla tranne quando avevo i bagagli ma questo mi capita in tutte le città in cui sono stata. Letto comodissimo e stanza spaziosa per due!

  Comments: We did not have the best experience staying with Tizz in Barcelona for three days. We were three girls exploring Europe having a good time. We had missed our flight so we arrived later than expected for check in, but we let Tizz know so she was aware of the situation. Tizz is very adamant about very little noise after 11. Maybe she should have restrictions on age or a curfew stated on the listing, attracting those that go to bed at 10pm. She made it seem that we did not respect her "house rules" by staying up late and talking in the room we paid to stay in. It was extremely uncomfortable. She also told us not to tell anyone that we are tourists because she is technically not allowed to have people staying with her!! This made us extremely uneasy. It was not a pleasant stay. To say the least, we were highly disappointed especially considering she is a "superhost".

She provided maps, immaculate local cafe/restaurant/market recommendations, each of which was better than the last, and ensured our stay was comfortable and enjoyable through constant communication. She was very accommodating and beyond thoughtful. Her recommendations of places to visit were amazing, we wore out our shoes walking the narrow secluded streets of Barcelona. The apartment location is very proximal to the Boqueria market and the public transport, but Barcelona is too beautiful to dive underground so most of the time we walked to places. The neighborhood is beautiful and vivid, and we found it perfectly safe even with an 8 year old. Do yourself a favor and do everything Tizz recommends. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will definitely be back!

  Comments: We (3 friends) stayed for a full week in Barcelona and had a great stay at Tizz’s apartment. The travel to the apartment and the check-in procedure is very easy thanks to the detailed travel guidelines, which also include some very nice spots in the neighborhood. Furthermore Tizz is always open to give more suggestions on what to do, to visit, to eat,… The apartment is located right in the middle of the center (we only used public transport 3 times). The street itself is a bit lousy, but really not as bad as we had imagined. The apartment is small but bright and beautiful. We didn’t find it particular noisy as some reviews might suggest, although we found it hot (airco/ventilator made up for this). As we were out most of the time we didn’t see Tizz a lot but she was friendly, helpful and most of all a very warm person. Recommended!

L'appartement est bien agencé et très bien situé dans un quartier vivant et hétéroclite, proche de nombreuses commodités, des transports en commun et des différents lieux culturels de la ville. Nous étions 3 amis et à aucun moment nous ne sommes sentis à l'étroit, l'impression d'être comme à la maison s'est installé en à peine quelques heures! Ces vacances dépassent de loin ce que je m'étais imaginé pour être tout à fait honnête, car les conseils avisés et de bon aloi de Tizz nous ont permis de redécouvrir Barcelone sous un nouveau jour. Tizz made it quite clear to me before booking that there are some prostitutes on the street out the front of her house, but I probably wouldn't have even noticed if she hadn't have pointed it out!   Comments: Tizz is maybe the best host i've seen on Airbnb! From the first day in the city her recommendations let us discover bright, authentic and vibrant sides of Barcelona. Appartment is situated very well for frequent walks in the city center. Multiple cafes, grocery stores and bars are just in one or two minutes away. Our room was clean and comfortable, just as seen on  pictures. I would like to thank Tizz once again for these amazing five days and definetly recommend her appartment to everyone who looks for not so tourist, but more authentic experience.

  Comments: Book it if you are a traveler who is alone or with a partner. This is a super booking and if you have the chance it is a great central and cool place to stay. The room is perfect for 1 or 2 people and is exactly what you see in the pictures. Tiz is a great host and person who is always fast (within the day or hour) at responding to questions or messages. At night it can get a bit loud but it is a major city and it is relatively loud everywhere, and Tiz was super cool and provided ear plugs for me and my girlfriend (personally I didn't need them and always let well). Not much to say other than if/when I come back to Barcelona I will make sure to message Tiz again.

  Comments: Firstly, Tizz is a great host. She was completely understanding when our flight was delayed by 3+ hours and helped us out when my friend's belongings were stolen. It was nice being able to have light, genuine conversation with Tizz in the evening or in the morning before we both left the appartment. The (Hidden by Airbnb) doc of places to eat/drink/see was incredibly useful, alongside personal reccommendations from Tizz in our conversations. As mentioned in previous posts, it is very noisy at night but nothing earplugs can't fix! Tip - come out of the appartment, turn right to the end. Turn right - the first restaurant in pink flourescent letters is amazing and cheap! Lovely cocktails for 5 Euros and tapas with a modern twist. Also visit the 360 rooftop bar in the big building at the end of the road on the left. Thank you Tizz!

The district is dirty and disgusting many hookers, drug dealers and homeless peoples etc... And finally we were attacked by 4 local guys, they did not let us go away and they stolen the phone from my boyfriend. So I don not recommend to anyone.

However we were disappointed to find only one fan in the room for three of us - which was broken - and therefore was not ideal especially during the major heatwave. In addition, despite the faulty fan, the AC was purposefully kept out of our reach which was very unhelpful especially when one of our friends was very ill from heatstroke.
