We enjoyed many nights sat out on the lanai watching the turtles. If you are renting a car and exploring this amazing island then this condo makes a fantastic base as the location is prefect for exploring both the north and the south of the island. All the grounds, BBQ and pool area and very well maintained and clean. 10/10.

Walk down the other way to a nice sandy beach. Lots of sea turtles in the water right out side. Perfect base to drive and explore the island from.

  Comments: Our stay by Ron's condo was fantastic! It was not only tidy and clean, but also well equiped with anyhing you need. I have to mention the porable excursion cooler that made our trip to Hana and beach stay much more enjoyable with chilled beverages. The view of the condo was spectacular! Sitting on the lanai you can enjoy the full view of the ocean and turtles in it. The location is perfect for exploring the island either east or west, since it's in the middle.

  Comments: Ron made our stay in Maui very easy! He made sure that we had all of the info about getting to the condo and what to expect during our stay. This location was perfect for us as we wanted something pretty central to be able to get all over the island. Right out your window there is a beach with endless turtle sightings. The beach directly in front of the condo is a little rocky but there is sandy beach you can easily walk to just a couple minutes down the road. The condo can get stuffy and the AC unit isn't the strongest but coupled with the ceiling fans we were comfortable. The complex is quiet, clean and relaxing! Would stay here again if I travel back to Maui!

  Comments: Ron was very accessible and answered our emails right away. The place was in a good central location to quickly get to the airport, Kihei and Lahaina. Every day we say a lot of turtles hanging out in the water right out back. It was very clean, very quiet and had plenty of parking. The AC unit is a window unit in the living room area- which would be fine most of the year. They had record temps the week we were there so it got really hot in the bedroom (even with the fans on.) But, I'm sure any other time the small window unit would be totally fine. Cable and wifi worked great for the stormy nights we were stuck inside! We would stay here again for sure!

  Comments: Easy, relaxing, and stress free! The apartment was clean, bright, open, & airy. My wife and I got married just a few days before in Oahu and wanted to get further away for our honeymoon, Ron's place was perfect. You're not staying in the heart of Maui but you're better off especially if you plan to do any fishing or snorkeling, most of the boats depart walking distance from your unit at the marina. Only needed to use the AC one day and this was during an unusual hot spell in Hawaii. Falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean is so amazingly relaxing . Most places close early so you might want to do some grocery shopping, but Beach Bums BBQ and Ma’alaea General Store & Cafe are in the marina and totally worth checking out. We actually missed our flight back to Oahu grabbing food from the general store...and it was worth it! Your view from the lanai can't be beat, you have surfers riding the fastest right in the world and sea turtles all right in front of you. Our only complaint is the bathroom, there is no fan and the vent does not work great, so pick up some spray or incense.

  Comments: Our stay was fantastic! The condo was clean, tidy and well equiped with anyhing you needed. There were boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach towels/chairs, cooler, just to name a few. The view of the condo was unreal! The sights and sounds of crashing waves were just amazing. We sat on the lanai and had our breakfast with a full view of the ocean. The location is perfect for going just about anywhere in Maui. If you want nightlife and good restaurants, you're just a few miles away from downtown Kihei. I would highly recommend Ron's condo!

  Comments: We had an outstanding time in Maui at Ron Hansen's Oceanfront condo! It was (Website hidden by Airbnb) advertised (a 5 out of a 5). We had a unit that overlooked a pristine beach, with sea turtles out swimming every morning and a gorgeous view! The condo was clean, private and very quite. The barbecue area was perfect for barbecuing fresh fish while watching the sunset. The condo was close to a harbor with super restaurants (we loved the Beach Bum!) and shops within walking distance. Ron had beach supplies, blankets, bogey boards, snorkel equipment and small coolers. It was perfect in every way we had a beautiful, relaxing Hawaiian vacation. Thank you Ron!

  Comments: We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful place. 1) central located and easy access to South Maui and airport 2) walking distance to a beach park and nice beach walk to a bird sanctuary (morning and evening are the best time) 3) Nice porch for whale watch and relax. 4) very nice stacked kitchen (common ingredients ) for cooking. 5)beach chairs, cooler and snorkeling fins in the apartment made our beach trip much more enjoyable. Bed was comfortable, quiet surrounding, 15 min to airport and the gas grill and the fully equipped kitchen made for a nice low key dinner around the condo for one evening.   Comments: Ron's generous-sized condo on Maui is beachfront, with an amazing view and the soothing sound of the waves curling on the sand. We had sundowners every night on the small beach in front of our apartment, watching huge Green SeaTturtles twist and turn in the surf. .The condo itself is in very good condition, light, bright and very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped and the wifi worked perfectly. The pool area, hot tub and barbecue facilities were well-kept and came in handy. There is an elevator and condo trolleys to hoist suitcases and groceries to the third floor. It's a quiet and peaceful location. Very relaxing. Ron is an excellent host, very organised and a good communicator. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a very enjoyable apartment.

  Comments: I had a great time here in Maui and most of it, I must say, is thanks to my beautiful accommodations. The condo is located perfectly in between everything with only a 20 minute drive or so to wherever you would like to go. I must admit that my favorite part of the condo was waking up and walking to the patio and seeing the mountains and the beautiful ocean. If I were to go back to Maui any time soon I would definitely book this place again!

  Comments: The view was to die for. Not only full glass wall with sliding doors to the patio, but large mirrors on each side of the patio combined to create a nearly 180 degree panorama of blue sky, palm trees and ocean just a few hundred feet across the well-manicured lawn. The small town, within walking distance was laid back, with a decent burger/brew place and a couple of upscale restaurants. Twenty minutes from the airport and all the usual mainland amenities, Safeway, Costco, fine dining or McD's, entertainment etc. Had trouble with the door code, called Ron, and we figured it out, and then he talked me through the entire condo mentioning where various switches were and helping me to orient immediately. It happened to be unseasonable hot but the openness of the layout to the tradewinds helped a lot, and the AC was adequate to the task when necessary. I'd recommend Ron and his condo unreservedly if you're looking for a beautiful, quiet place to stay, with few tourists on the street and within reach of nearly everything (except Hana of course).

  Comments: Check in and out was very smooth. Do yourself a favor and be sure to read the folder included in the rental. It gives you lots of useful information about the property and what's available to you. Specific things to note that may not have been mentioned elsewhere yet: * You are expected to do some laundry before you check out. * We didn't use the AC at all. Keeping the door open and fans on kept the place nice and cool. * There is shampoo, conditioner, bar soap provided. Some previous guests also left behind lotion and sun block. * The pantry is stocked with the necessities (salt, pepper, oil), as well as some non-necessities like seasonings, and random things guests have left behind. * There's coffee beans in the freezer * There's a shelf in the building lobby that has books for borrow

The convenience of being near the aquarium and Kihei was an added bonus as well. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and the ocean waves at night!

  Comments: Ron's place was great and in a central location. Just be careful about getting caught in the afternoon traffic. Ron is quick to respond, nice and has some great tips on where to get rentals from. Just message him and he will gladly give you advice. The condo was great and had a beautiful view of the small beach and in the evenings you can see the turtles popping their heads up. i also saw some people snorkeling from the beach but its not recommended for sunbathing. The Condo was nice and clean. we didn't need to put the AC on because there was always a breeze flowing through out the condo. Ron's place was fully equipped with everything you need from cook ware, spices, and beach stuff like cooler, boogie boards, snorkel gear, beach mats, umbrella, sunblock, etc. all you need to bring is your clothes and food to cook if you plan on eating at the condo. the bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows and blankets. the condo also had a pool and Jacuzzi. the pool was great for day time use but once the shade fell it was cold, so the Jacuzzi was a great in the evenings. there was also 2 grills that we used often. All in all it was a great place and great location. i would highly recommend Ron's place and we hope to be back to visit again soon. Thank you Ron!

The condo has everything you could need for fun at the beach, which is a short walk away. The ocean water was perfect as well.   Comments: We stayed at Ron's place for our five year anniversary. The condo is in a great location, a very short drive away from many of the top places to go in Maui. You are walking distance from Maalaea Harbor, where there is a great aquarium and where many of the snorkeling trips depart. From the start, everything with our trip went very smoothly. Ron is a great host who is always available to answer any questions about the condo or Hawaii in general. As others have written, the view from the condo is unbelievable. There's a great sized lanai/balcony to watch the ocean from. We enjoyed many meals on the balcony. The condo complex also has a very nice pool and BBQ area. There's a very nice sandy white beach just a short walk away. As others have said, the easiest way to keep the apartment cool is to open the windows up and use fans. There is a window AC unit near the patio door that cools down the dining/living room area well, but we found that the AC's cooling does not reach the bedroom adequately and it stays fairly warm in there if the windows are not open. With the windows open, a nice breeze flows through the place. Overall, the value you get here can't be beat, nor can the view. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the place.

  Comments: The condo we stayed at had a beautiful ocean view, perfect for us as we were on our honeymoon. It was clean, quiet, and quite close to a lot of attractions. The kitchen was excellent, well stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. There were also snorkeling gear and beach stuff. The amenities in the building were good. The AC in the living room was not strong enough for the bedroom. But it didn't bother our sleep as the fan in the bedroom worked well. Ron was very helpful and excellent in communication. We enjoyed our stay and recommend it.

  Comments: The hardest part about Ron's place was how hard it was to wake up in my regular home once the vacation was over. This place was AMAZING. View is GORGEOUS. Sat on balcony every night and watched the surf. Started every morning with breakfast on balcony overlooking ocean with sun shining on us. PARADISE. Central location was perfect. Easy drive to Kihei and Lahaina, but great to have a quiet more secluded place to return to each night. Beautiful long beach is a 2 minute walk. Great to have washer and dryer in the place. Perfect, perfect, perfect! A++++

The location is great as well, very central and easy to get to Kihei, Paia or Lahaina. I’ve also never stayed in an Airbnb that was so stocked with everything from paper towels to beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling gear. If that wasn’t enough it’s walking distance from a beach and the wharf where you can go on whale watching or snorkeling cruises. Really great place. I would definitely stay there again next time in Maui.

  Comments: We stayed in Ron's condo number 318. The condo was very clean and had an amazing view right on the ocean. Everything you could possibly need is supplied for you in the condo. We cooked many meals there and all of the utensils, cooking equipment, spices, etc...that we needed were there. The condo is perfect for two people. Also, you never need the air conditioning because the breeze flows through the condo nicely. It was centrally located in Maui which made it easy to get to other parts of the island. We absolutely loved staying there and highly recommend renting from Ron as he is quick to respond to any questions or problems you may have. I look forward to booking with him again!!

The condo was very neat and clean, and what was especially nice is that Ron has it stocked with the every day amenities, like spices and condiments, as well as beach equipment. With a washer/dryer inside, it was perfect. We even got greeted by sea turtles wading up to the shore just feet in front of us while sitting on the bench in front of the condo -- what an experience!

As soon as you walk into Ron’s wonderfully located condo, you’ll be greeted with that AMAZING Maui ocean view. The windows span from wall to wall facing the ocean and leave nothing to be desired. You’ll immediately feel relaxed and want to kick your feet up on the Lanai. The unit is nicely stocked with all items you will need for your week stay. Fully stocked kitchen and everything you would need for a day at the beach. Very quiet surroundings and a quick walk to the beach. It was a beautiful experience to sit on the lanai and see a momma whale with her calf in the bay every morning.

  Comments: This place has a lovely view - we watched sea turtles from the balcony and enjoyed falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The condo is well stocked with both its kitchen supplies and beach gear, which includes chairs, beach towels, cooler, umbrella and snorkeling gear- everything you need! Ron is very hospitable; he was easy to communicate with, and checking in was simple. The area (and condo complex) is nice and quiet while also being very close to great food and activities in all directions- plus a nice coffee shop & delicious restaurant in walking distance; really, it's the perfect middle if you want access to everything on the island. Be ready to throw a load of laundry in the night before you leave, especially if you used multiple towels (the dryer takes a little while- not excessive, but easier to do the night before than the morning of.) We had a very comfortable, enjoyable stay and would definitely come back!

  Comments: This place over exceeded our expectations. Wow! There were so many amenities available that we didn’t even think of needing until we saw them. We cooked a lot in the kitchen and anything you could think of was already available to use! The location was great! Quiet, not too far from other cities/the harbor for doing excursions/airport. There were other residents in separate condos, but you never hear anyone really. The waves of the ocean drown out all noise if there ever was any. The balcony was amazing; View of the ocean, mirrors on the balcony walls to make sure you catch every angle of the ocean. It also helped to create an illusion that you were alone in one place. I loved that. Great sunrise views. Turtles every single day! That was so cool! Coffee in the morning watching the sunrise is a must do. There was an A/C unit but we never used it, cause when you open all the windows the breeze races through the house and feels great! Honestly, there were so many positives about this place I can only come up with one negative: Having to leave. This is definitely a five star location! I would return anytime! Highly recommend it!   Comments: Everything you need for a nice vacation is here. It's got a nice view of a rocky beach area where you can watch the green sea turtles. Saw more here than when we went diving at Molokini and Turtle Town. A nice quiet location close to the marina which worked well for us as our Maui Dive boat left from here and we could walk there. There was all the equipment you would need for snorkeling and going to the beach (umbrellas, chairs, mats, boards). It was hot and muggy at times but we got good air flow with windows and the sliding door open. On the worst day we used the air conditioner. The pool is not very big but it was very nice. There were plenty of chairs and loungers. It was pretty quiet during our time there. We did eat in and it was nice to have the kitchen stocked with condiments and some basics. We ate out once a day usually and found ourselves heading to Kehei. My husband and I were very comfortable here.

Every late afternoon we sat outside on the balcony and watched large numbers of sea turtles swimming. Great location that is close to beautiful beaches, Lahaina and the harbor!   Comments: We stayed 5 nights at Ron's place. We picked his place because of the view, location, value laundry and air conditioning. The view of Malaalea Bay is fantastic. We were able to see sea turtles swimming just of off the beach. There are a few restaurants and shops in Malaalea but the location was convenient to drive to most places on the island. After several days of traveling it was nice to have laundry available in the unit. Although we specifically chose someplace that had A/C we did not end up needing to use it. Ron has the place well stocked with almost everything you could use.

Sea Turtles can be seen all times of the day enjoying themselves in the ocean outside the condo from the balcony. Easy access to all different areas of Maui by car, nothing is too far away leaving you options of where to go each day. We appreciated the stuff provided in the condo for our use, be it coffee all the way to snorkeling gear, beach chairs and more. While A/C is available we never had to use it between the use of fans and having windows open on each side of the condo for a wonderful cross breeze. We would stay here again and cant wait for our return to Maui.
