  Comments: Nous avons été enchanté par notre séjour en amoureux dans cet appart, près du quartier bohème et branché de Gracia. David nous a très bien accueilli, il est chaleureux, sympa et serviable. Merci David ! Le quartier est calme mais tout près de la Sagrada Familia et de l'animation de Gracia. L'appart est très confortable et décoré avec goût, avec un agréable petit balcon pour prendre le petit dej ou l'apéro. Nous avons pu profiter de la formidable fête du quartier de Gracia tout en logeant au calme à proximité. Bref, nous recommandons et y reviendrons :) Cléa et Jeremy

  Comments: Tanto el trato con David como el apartamento, han superado mis expectativas. David es encantador, educado, amable, en todo momento se ha mostrado disponible para ayudarme en lo que necesitara. El apartamento es mejor que en las fotografías, más espacioso, acogedor y está lleno de detalles, además de muy limpio. El barrio es perfecto si se quiere estar conectado con el centro en pocas paradas, o dar un buen paseo, y a la vez disfrutar de la tranquilidad, la calle es muy silenciosa. Está muy cerca de la Sagrada Familia y otros lugares interesantes. Si traéis coche, en unas pocas vueltas, se encuentra aparcamiento gratuito en la calle sin problema, al menos en el mes de agosto que es cuando yo he estado. Sin duda muy recomendable.

  Comments: David is the perfect host ! He was very attentive and kind. Before our arriving David gave us information how to get to apartments, so we found it easy, and then he picked us from the metro station. The location of his apartments is very good. It is located on quiet street, so it's very safe in the evenings. By the way there are a lot of shops and supermarkets, so we could buy everything we needed anytime. It took us 10 minutes to get to the centre of Barcelona and 25-30 minutes to go to the beach by the metro. But we preferred walking there. It took 1 hour for us. Barcelona is really amazing city. It is full of fantastic views and places. Furthemore it is very different. And we were pleasant to walk a lot. As for apartments. It's better as shown in the photos. Very nice, clean and tidy. The flat is set out for guests, you will find everything you need. As the apartments are cozy and has very good atmosphere, our 10 nights staying was comfortable, we really didn't want to leave it ! There is no one minus in this place. It was much better what we expected and we had an amazing time in Barcelona! Thanks a lot, David. You've been so nice and caring for us!

  Comments: My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at David's flat for two nights. The flat is a nice one bedroom apartment and served our needs well. It's in a slower-paced area of Barcelona very close to Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, and within walking distance to several great cafe's and restaurants. David himself was an exceptional host. He was very attentive, flexible, and responsive to any questions we had. He made sure we had everything we needed, and even provide us with his own recommendations for area restaurants. In the end, David went out of his way to arrange taxis for us upon our departure, which we certainly appreciated.   Comments: David was there when we arrived and made us very welcome. He showed us around the flat which was very clean, well appointed and exactly as we had been led to believe. He very kindly provided us with details of places to visit and recommended a very good place to eat. The flat is well located being within easy walking distance of a number of attractions and restaurants and with easy access to the metro system.

  Comments: The apartment is located in a quiet street close to Sagrada Familia and public transportation. It has been totally reformed just recently with a lot of style and it is very clean with living space to the small street and bedroom to the patio. The host David was very helpful at the arrival and also throughout the entire stay. This is the perfect place for a couple to spend a few days in the city of Barcelona - highly recommendable.

  Comments: I've spent four nights at David's place with my mum. We both (34 and 66 years) loved the appartment which is really tastefully furnished and full of nice details. It is more than fully equipped and you can for example enjoy your Nespresso-coffee in the morning or take a very comfortable shower in the modern bathroom. The appartment is located in a quiet and very nice 'spanish' street from where you can easily walk to e.g. Grácia (or other neighbourhoods) or take the metro to wherever you wanna go. The place is very quiet but at the same time really close to all the important spots in Bcn. David is a really friendly host who is always there with a helping hand or great advice. I highly recommend to stay in David's flat and would always welcome him as a host in my place. And so would my mum. ;-)

  Comments: David wasn't available to greet us, but send a friend who showed us the flat and gave us pointers. The flat was as described, very nice, quiet, spatious and bright with high ceilings throughout. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need to prepare dinner and we made use of that and spent some evenings at home enjoying the flat and resting from sightseeing during the day. If you wanted to go out in the evening, the nightlife of Gracia proper is only 10min down the road. Similarly Sagrada Familia is only about 10 by foot in the other direction. The nearest tube station Joanic is also 8-10min away. It's located on the yellow line which is very convenient if you want to go and see the Ramblas, Gothic quarter or El Born. We can highly recommend the flat and would consider staying there again in the future.

  Comments: The flat was amazing, the title is very accurate, it is a quite stylish and lovely decorated. Has all the amenities required and much more. Literally 10 minutes walking from La Sagrada Familia and about 7 to L4 metro line which takes you to most touristic stops in BCN. It is very well located and there are many nice restaurants within a 15min radius(We liked Tivoli for tapas, El Glop for paella & La Paradeta for seafood) David wasn't available to meet us as we arrived at an awkward hour, but was very flexible enough to find a solution for someone to greet us and let us leave the luggage before we headed into the city. Was also kind enough to give us some restaurant recommendations. Top marks for that. Thank you for everything!!! I'd fully recommend anyone this lovely flat.

  Comments: Merci à David pour son accueil, l'appartement été très agréable et propre dans une rue au calme proche du métro. Petit bémol (bien que ceci ne nous aie pas dérangé outre mesure) concernant la télé qui n'a pas été configurée avec la box, c'est regrettable car ceci est inclu dans les prestations. Prévoir donc un ordinateur portable si vous souhaitez en bénéficié. Hormis ce détail nous recommandons sans hésitation cet appartement !

  Comments: Séjour très agréable dans l'appartement cosy de David... Nous n'avons pas eu la joie de le rencontrer car il était en vacances durant notre venue ...mais sa soeur et son beau- frère nous ont été d'une grande aide et très réactif quand nous avons eu besoin d'eux concernant un petit problème technique :-) Le quartier est très agréable ...calme et à deux pas des animations de "Gracia" ... Nous avons connu Barcelone sous un ciel gris durant cette semaine ... mais avec plein de soleil dans le cœur malgré tout ...grâce à l'accueil chaleureux des Barcelonais que nous avons pu rencontré...:-))

  Comments: Tuvimos una estancia espectacular en el piso de David. El piso está muy bien equipada y bien situada en un barrio simpático. Hay cafés y bares al lado, hasta la Sagrada Familia se camina unos 10 minutos. David es además un comunicador espléndido: Cuando sabía que él no iba a estar por un viaje les preguntó a sus padres que nos esperaran para darnos las llaves.   Comments: David was a wonderful host always willing to help with any problem. The apartment is conveniently located within short walking distance from Joanic metro station - basically less than 10 min by metro from Diagonal and within walking distance from la Sagrada Familia. We were traveling with our 1,5-year daughter and were amazed by the attention to every tiny detail for providing cozy stay in the apartment - it had everything one may need - all kitchen equipment (incl. dishwasher, microwave oven), utensils and even several portable (was very helpful during several pretty cold nights at Barcelona). This apartment is perfect for young couples and families.

  Comments: David offered us a warm welcome. The appartment is maybe even better than on the pictures. Extremely well equipped, which was important to us since we stayed a whole week and cooked quite often. Also, the location is perfect: Everything is close by, restaurants, bars, supermarkets... except if you're looking for tourist traps ;-) And at the same time the appartment is extremely quiet.   Comments: David is a great host, answered right away to the request for the booking and wellcomed us warmly, giving us very important tipps.The appartment in Gracia was very fresh and well-equipped in a beautiful old building with a cosy balcony on the inner side. The kitchen and bathroom have a modern high-value design and were very practical. The appartment is perfectly situated, since it's 10 minutes from Sagrada Familia and 15 minutes from Parc Güell. All the necessary stores, pharmacies etc. , as well as bars and restaurants are located within 5 minutes from the appartment. There is a direct metro line to the beach and Passeig de Gracia! We would really recommend staying in David's appartment!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un agréable moment dans cet appartement. Tout était conforme et David nous a très bien accueillis. L’appartement semblait même plus grand grâce aux hauteurs sous plafond. Nous nous sommes sentis bien tout de suite. Il a été disponible, malgré un retard de notre avion de plus d’une heure. Il communique très bien avec tous les médias ( (Hidden by Airbnb) , SMS…) et est discret et poli. La situation de l’appartement est très bien car non loin d’une station de METRO (transport à privilégier) et d’un quartier très intéressant : LA GRACIA. Le quartier est calme. Mais nous sommes tout de même dans une grande ville

  Comments: Amazing spacious apartment in a great location close to Sagrada Familia and Joanic metro station. Apartment was clean with plenty of natural light and very comfortable. Just note that there are 4 flights of stairs so be aware if you have many suitcases, but this is common in Europe. Thanks David, hopefully we will be back in Barcelona one day soon!

  Comments: Rigtig dejlig lejlighed og meget imødekommende vært. Lejligheden ser ud nøjagtigt som den gør på billederne og er super lækker. Desuden ligger den i gå afstand til La Sagrada de Familia og metro til stranden! David har været super imødekommende selvom vi kom sent om aftenen. Og selvom vi ikke har haft brug for noget i løbet af ugen, har han været til rådighed og hjælp, hvis vi skulle have haft brug for det.

  Comments: David was very understanding and helpful to me and my friend even tho we took a wrong train from the airport and came 2hours late to the apartment. He gave us some nice tips and left us feel very welcome. He had printed the subway map which was very useful! The apartment was nicely equipped and the area is quite safe and quiet. A big plus is the L4 subway (nearest station 5mins from the apt) that takes you to many of the places where you want to visit. We really liked our stay!

  Comments: The apartment is really nice and comfortable, and is equipped with new interior. David is a really nice host, he prepared a lot of info for us and was really good reachable. The neighbours were loudly during our stay. We were unsure which neighbours it were, so we didn’t contact David about it. The bathroom is beautifull! There weren’t any washcloths so you might consider bringing them yourselves (just a tip). Overall we had a great stay!

  Comments: We had a fantastic stay at David's beautiful apartment! It's exactly as it looks in the pictures and has everything you need for the perfect self-catering stay. It's 15 min walk to Vila de Gracia and 5 minutes walk to Joanic metro station which is a direct line to many useful stops including Barceloneta (beach) and Jaume I (El Born area with lots of lovely restaurants/bars) The living/dining area enjoys sunshine through the double doors in the morning and then you can sit out on the balcony later on and enjoy the evening sun. All in all couldn't fault the apartment and David was a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable. We'll definitely be back!!

I was not familiar with the technology of his TV and he came and showed us how to use it. The location Waze great - a short walk from Sagrada Familla.   Comments: We had a wonderful stay at David's place. The flat is tasteful and beautifully decorated as well as being very well stocked. The bed is extremely comfortable! The neighbourhood of Gracia is lovely and far from the touristic crowd of El Born and the Gothic Quarter, felt a sense of breathing space and that we were staying in a place where actual locals lived. Lots of lovely shops and restaurants a 5 min walk away. Well connected and close to the metro. David as a host was exceptional and very communicative and flexible. Would definitely stay there again.   Comments: Meiner Mama und mir hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Appartment ist in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, gut ausgestattet, hell, groß und sauber. Gerne sind wir am Abend noch auf dem kleinen, gemütlichen Balkon gesessen. Das Zentrum von Gràcia, Sagrada Família und Park Güell haben wir zu Fuß besucht, alles andere war gut mit der Metro erreichbar. Der Kontakt mit David war unkompliziert, hilfreich und sehr nett.

  Comments: Great modern flat near Gracia in northern Barcelona . We found it brilliant as we visited saint Pau and Sagrada Famillia on foot , both of which were brilliant . We had fun eating in Gracia in the evening . We were also able to walk to park Guell . The metro to the centre (3 stops ) was handy for getting back into the centre . We would definitely recommend this funky flat . David was welcoming and the flat was very clean .

Facilitó la entrega de las llaves del piso y nos indicó perfectamente y con paciencia todas las cosas que implicaban el uso funcional del piso. La ubicación del piso es excelente: a pie es cerca de todo, y esta lejos del bullicio turístico. Esta a unas dos cuadras largas de la entrada de metro de Joanic (L4). Para una estancia larga también es recomendable, dado que el piso esta equipado con todo lo necesario. Nos sentimos como en casa. Cómodo, super limpio y muy funcional.

  Comments: David's place is great and it would have been the perfect place for us if it hadn't been for the refurbishment of the downstairs apartment, which was extremely noisy. It meant that we couldn't really be in the apartment during the daytime, which we intended traveling with an infant. However, David obviously couldn't do anything to help us with this situation which is totally understandable. David's apartment is spacious, clean and bright and we enjoyed having a drink on the sunny small terrace in the late afternoon.

The apartment is very spacious and modern with cool decor and a balcony. Excellent location in Gràcia, a quieter village-like area away from city centre but easily accessible via 2 metro stops, Joanic (5 minute walk) and Sagrada Familia (10 minute walk). You can take the yellow line from Joanic to Selva de Mar if you want to go to a less touristy beach. There are plenty of restaurants/bars in Vila de Gràcia to enjoy which has a lively atmosphere at night. I would recommend Gola Taperia. We stayed the 3rd week in August during La Festa Major de Gràcia (200 year anniversary this year) which made the experience all the better as you can wander through the beautifully decorated streets and get a taste of local life. Would definitely recommend David's apartment for an alternative experience to city centre.

  Comments: This was a fantastic apartment to stay at during our stay. David was a fantastic host who was there to greet us when we arrived and provided fantastic assistance to our needs. Not that there were any. Everything in the flat worked perfectly never had a single issue or complaint with anything. The flat itself was light and inviting. Good shower and comfy bed. Great open plan kitchen dining room for entertaining. The suburb that it was in was quite and chilled but not too far away from some great bars and restaurants in the local area. It provided a great representation of the local culture of Barcelona which provided a retreat from the tourist hotspots of the city. However when you wanted to get to said tourist hotspots the public transport available from the apartment is perfect: buses to park Guell only 10-20 minutes, bus to camp nou only 30-40 minutes, easy connection to Tibidabo and the L4 metro line from Joanic meant we were minutes away from the city centre and the beach. The icing on the cake was the Sagrada familia only being a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Anyone planning a trip to Barcelona, I would highly recommend this apartment. We may even use it in the future ourselves, if and when we decide to return to the city.

  Comments: David provided a perfect place for a brief trip to abarcelona. We stayed 4 nights and the place was clean, quiet and exactly was we expected. The location is north of the major tourist action but we are big walkers and enjoyed the opportunity to experience a different part of the city than the main thoroughfare. The Sagrada Familia and all of the cafes around it were a brief walk away. David was extremely accommodating in meeting us when our plane was slightly delayed and a recommendation that he provided to us for dinner ended as a favorite of ours by the end of the trip (Bar Cañete). All-in-all the place provided exactly what the pictures and description shows and I would stay there again during my next trip back to Barcelona.

Full size kitchen was nice and there’s a dishwasher. Netflix on the tv too. The location is close to sagrada familia, but it’s quite a walk from the gothic quarter and la boqueria market. Overall, this was a great place. Only downside is there’s no elevator, but that’s no ones fault! Just be ready for a hike up the stairs.

  Comments: The apartment on the fourth floor is very big and equipped with almost every thing, especially the balcony. It takes 10 mins to walk to the Sagrada Familia, or you can spend 6 euros to go to Passeig de Gràcia by taxi. It’s really convenient to check in and out. Everything about the apartment is good except the stairs, it is so narrow that it’s quite difficult for us to go up and down with luggages. We would still recommend this studio.

David was really good at being in contact as our flight was delayed and it was easy enough to get from the airport to the flat via the train and metro and meet the cleaners for the keys. The metro is about 2 minutes away and there's good buses nearby too for Parc Guell. We found some lovely restaurants about a 10/15 min walk away.

  Comments: Location is good, really 10 Minutes Walk to Sagrada Familia, and very close to metro, however for us as couple with baby was still difficult(not all metro stations have lift, and the electric stairs are almost only for going up, not bothways) . Restaurants in the neighbourhood re really helpful, but most of them (or the ones with good reviews) are opened from 8 pm for dinner. I assume this is the spanish standard, however we find it too late for dining... Communication with David was very good, he answered promptly and waited with the check in (our plane had delay, so it wasn't really our fault plus we had to carry the baby buggy through the metro stations with limited lift) In our welcome map we were told to be quiet after 10 pm, well the neighbours were first after 2 am quiet. The walls are so thin, could hear the high heels on the stairs and a special smell(marijuana?!) was coming through the window in bathroom. All in all the appartment was clean and well equipped to cook, for young couples should be perfect, but don't expect 4 * hotel.

The proximity to metro stations made it easy to get to the center and most of the major tourist sites, while La Sagrada Familia was just a short walk away, making for a nice evening stroll. There are plenty of stores, cafes, and restaurants within walking distance of the apartment, however, we found that we had better experiences with places closer to the center. Still, this apartment is great to have as home base, and David's tips were very helpful! Check-in/out process was very simple!

  Comments: The apartment is a five-minute walk from the metro in a lovely quiet street and away from the centre, which we wanted. The sixty stairs were not a problem for us, though you need to bear in mind. The cleaner let us in and gave us the keys. It is a bright and very attractive apartment, well equipped kitchen, spacious, comfortable beds, and with the aircon just outside the room, not too noisy at night. Blinds also kept the place cool for our August stay. There are good supermarkets nearby. We recommend a restaurant called A Veiga, just around the corner on Carrer Sardenya, which serves excellent Catalan food and is very good value. David responded quickly to our requests for information about local facilities and was very understanding when our carelessness resulted in him having to call out a repairer! All in all a very good experience.

The bed was insanely comfortable and the balcony catches the sun in the afternoon. We did have issues on our first two evenings with noise from people downstairs. Not sure if it’s a common thing but there is very little sound proofing and we were kept up till early in the morning unfortunately on two occasions. We later found out it was bank holiday which probably explains it! Obviously this is no fault of David’s. Other than this was a great stay!

Although it says it is on the second floor, it is more like the 4th floor so make sure you can do stairs with a suitcase. We loved the location as it was close to the attractions we wanted to see and we enjoyed the local vibe of the area. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking and eating at the place. Having the wifi was super helpful as well. We walked everywhere and never ended up using public transit as it is about 3.4 km walk from the core of Barcelona and the walk is beautiful. Lots of Gaudi places close by and fabulous local bars and restuarants.

  Comments: The apartment's best asset is the location but by no means does this imply it lacks somewhere else. After 5 days in BCN I truly believe Gracia is the coolest neighbourhood by far; lively, full of bars, restaurants and shops but still giving you the live-as-a-local experience which I believe wouldn't be the case in Barri Gotic or El Born. Lots of supermarkets and convenience stores a stone throw away, 10 mins walk to Sagrada Familia, a short bus ride to Guell park and 5 mins walk to L4 line metro which gets you directly to the most interesting places. The apartment is stylish, fully equipped, and looks exactly as in the pictures. The only think to be aware of, is that it is in the 3rd floor instead of the 2nd. Although the floor is typically called Secondo, there is a mysterious mezzanine sort of thing, but still the same deal of stairs to climb. I did not personally meet David but the communication was excellent and the responses quick. Highly recommended.

  Comments: Stylish Flat in BCN city center has a very good location. It takes no more than 5 min walking from Joanic metro station (Line 4) to the flat. There are many sights near this place - 10 minutes walk to the legendary La Sagrada Familia, and around 1,5 km from Parc Guell and Casa Museu Gaudi. The district is full of shops and restaurants. There is all necessary in the flat and in the district for comfortable stay and for very good pastime. The flat is highly recommended!
