  Comments: Mahmud is a great host. He made our stay a memorable one. We( I , wife, father,mother and baby) reached very late at around 1 am in night.Mahmud was waiting for us. He welcomed us very well .He had arranged some food in refrigerator that helped us to eat at that time. Apartment details: The apartment is exactly the same as mentioned in the listing. Apartment is very comfortable and 4 people can stay very comfortably. This apartment has every thing that you need on day to day basis. The kitchen is very well equipped with gas stove, fridge, microwave, washing machine and lots of utensils. the 2 bathrooms are very clean . 1 is very big and has an awesome shower. Location: Apartment is located in heart of sultanahmet. It is 4 to 5 mins by walk from hagia sophia , blue mosque, topkapi museum. We just had to step out of Apartment and pass by a lane near 5 star hotel 4 seasons and we come out near hagia sophia . There are lots of awesome restaurents nearby. We found indian restaurent also near tram station. There are restaurents of all countries. Tram station is 5 mins by walk. Tram connects to all important places like taksim, grand bazar, spice market etc. Grand bazar is 15 mins by walk but it is better to go by tram as station us near apartment. a big super market is just 500 metre near hagia sophia. Conclusion: We were very satisfied with the services, apartment and the location. Istanbul is awesome. We were there for 3 days but felt that 3 days were very less. We will visit turkey again and stay again in the same apartment.

  Comments: Mahmud made us feel very welcome. He provided breakfast essentials and that was a relief after a long journey. He also gave us an Istanbul card to use the public transport. He was very helpful throughout our stay and was available whenever we needed anything. There is no daily cleaning service and as we were staying for 10 nights we paid extra for the apartment to be cleaned on alternate days. The apartment was exactly like the photos. The second bathroom is basically a toilet only as the shower does not have a cubicle. The location was excellent. Close to everything so that we did not have to use a taxi. The tram station was a 5-10 walk. Although we were so close to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace and many restaurants, our street was nice and quiet. I would highly recommend this apartment.

  Comments: The flat is amazing and Mahmud is a fantastic host. It is exactly as shown in the photos, spacious and in an excellent location in the heart of the old town, within walking distance of all the major sites. The beds are comfy, and there is AC if you need it. Mahmud went above and beyond to provide us with basics like enough fresh drinking water for our stay, some bits and bobs in the fridge and plenty of toilet roll, as well as washing powder for the washing machine! Communication was quick and smooth, and Mahmud was very flexible given there were four of us arriving from 3 different places and different times! Istanbul is a great city, and I would totally recommend staying here!

  Comments: We had a wonderful time in Istanbul at Mahmud's place. He is extremely nice. He waited for us at the house although we were late. He took time to look after us and tell us places to visit in Istanbul. He also helped us with the travel card which saved us lot of efforts. The house is extremely well located and connected. It had everything you will need during your stay. We went during the Ramadan time and since blue mosque was just 2 mins walk , it was quite a hustling bustling place. I stayed here for 4 nights and highly recommend this place.

  Comments: Mahmud's "Guest Apartment" was absolutely wonderfully situated – literally a stone's throw from Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and all the "old part of Istanbul"... Its rare to find a two room apart at this price and the layout was both functional as well as being well appointed – as in the pics. Mahmud himself is a "prince". Courteous, delightfully genteel, concerned and totally hospitable: of all the AirB&B places I've been to, this hospitality was most liberally and generously expressed by his having stocked the fridge with enough breakfast basics for the four days we were there. The only weak link is the WiFi connection which is somehow shared with the guest house next door and because it has to travel through a number of walls, only works in the front part of the house... But who needs WiFi when on vacation – Right...? :)) As a longtime and often visitor to Istanbul, this has been one of my better trips – and its success has been in large part due to the professionalism of the service offered. And "yes" – I would most definitely recommend this Listing...! Thank you, Mahmud...!

  Comments: 我也是看了其他游客的评价才选择了Mahmud的房子,结果真是象评价里说的那么好!房子的位置绝佳,就在蓝色清真寺和索菲亚教堂的旁边,但又很安静,离老皇宫走路10多分钟也到了｡我们早晚都会经过这些美丽壮观的著名古迹｡房间非常干净,宜家风格｡我们两家人,所以有两个卫生间十分方便,厨房的设备和餐具也很全｡附近超市的东西足够我们早餐食用,Mahmud又准备了些｡每天我们都是阳光早餐,而且有只小猫准时在窗台等候我们喂它香肠｡Mahmud特别友善,聪明,做事情周到,说英语速度有点快｡第一天到达后,给我讲了一大堆包括行程和买东西等等,都快成我以前的听力课了,非常有趣｡我们去之前正赶上新闻里的土耳其反华,所以特别纠结｡朋友一家都不想去了｡我每天通过邮件询问Mahmud,反馈到真实的信息,真是耐心和温暖｡果然,我们在伊斯坦布尔的四天,安全而且快乐｡谢谢你,Mahmud｡

  Comments: We had a wonderful stay in Mahmud's apartment. Great location, lovely rooms, air conditioning and well-equipped kitchen. It was extremely hot during our visit to Istanbul so coming back to the apartment after a day of sightseeing was a welcome and comfortable relief (it also helped that the apartment was such a short walk from the main attractions). Mahmud himself was a great host - we arrived early before the check-in time but Mahmud let us drop off our luggage and made sure the apartment was ready for us as soon as possible. He lives close by to the apartment so was always at hand for help if we needed it. All in all, highly recommended!

  Comments: It was a lovely stay at Mahmud's apart. the apartment was on the ground floor exactly like the pictures every thing was perfect. The apartment is located on a nice and quite street. The blue mosque, Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet medan, and Arasta bazar are just about 2 minutes or less away. Also restaurants and coffees are near to us. Mahmud was so generous with us he put some food in the fridge and provided a fresh bread and also a water for drinking. It's walking distance to Aya Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi (s a quieter neighborhood so it may take 5-10 mins of walking the streets). Highly recommend staying at this property!

  Comments: The flat is ideally located to discover Istanbul's historic sites. The flat is located in a quiet street about a minute walk from Sultan Ahmed mosque. The description was accurate. The flat is superbly organized and all appliances are in full working order. It was clean and accommodated us with our three children very nicely. Mahmud was there when we arrived. He was very kind and helpful. He made us feel relaxed and welcome. He gave us a lot of tips regarding visiting interesting sites in Istanbul. He organized our pick up and our transport back to the airport. He was available to help on most days. I was sure we will be back to this flat at some stage in the future. I will give the flat and Mahmud 10 out of 10. I would have no hesitation in recommending the flat and Mahmud to anybody. You will never regret staying in this flat and you will be delighted to deal with this lovely man.

  Comments: We are four girls, who have been staying in Mahmouds apartment for six night. Mahmoud welcomed us with Turkish specialities in the fridge and he guided us in what he would recommend us to see in Istanbul. We exchanged phone numbers and was told to contact him if we had any questions or if anything in the apartment was wrong. One day we had a problem with the heater for the water, and there was no warm water. Mahmoud came immediately and had it fixed very fast. The apartment was very nice and clean and the location is perfect. The only thing that wasn't perfect, was creaking beds. We would definitely recommend others to stay at Mahmouds place.

  Comments: This apt is fantastic, as well as the host. Great location and neighborhood - 3 mins walk to Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, lots of cafes nearby. Great apartment - white IKEA style and super clean, beds, even sofa beds are comfortable. Our host, Mahmud is so nice, he welcomed us in person and gave us a city map, a metro card, and some tourist recommendations. Communication with him is very effective. The apt is on ground floor so you don't need to worry about heavy luggage. Overall speaking, unforgettable experience for my first stay in Istanbul. I will remember the breezing nights walking from bars to home with lovely dogs following. I will definitely come back to Mahmud's apt next time if it's available. Highly recommend. : D

  Comments: Mahmud was a fantastic host. He arranged our airport transfers and greeted us in person even though we arrived past 10pm in the evening. He was also very thoughtful and left us some breakfast supplies for our convenience. The apartment was very clean and is as shown in the photos. Location is very central, within 5-10 mins walking to the major attractions in Sultanahmet, and is very close to restaurants as well. My friends and I definitely enjoyed staying at the apartment, and would stay there if we visit Istanbul again!

  Comments: محمود شخص رائع، بذل كل ما يستطيع ليجعل رحلتنا مميزة. أجاب على أسئلتي الكثيرة بكل سعة صدر. رتب لنا وسيلة نقل من وإلى المطار بسعر معقول، كذلك وفر لنا بطاقة استخدام النقل العام في اسطنبول، كما وفر لنا جالون ماء كبير ووبعض العصائر والمأكولات الخفيفة. الشقة جميلة جداً، وهي مطابقة تماماً للصور المعروضة والوصف المكتوب عنها. وهي تقع في شارع هادئ جداً على الرغم من أنها تبعد دقيقتين فقط مشياً على الأقدام من جامع السلطان أحمد ومتحف حاجية صوفيا. يوجد بجانب الشقة بقالتين صغيرة، وصالون حلاقة، ومغسلة، وعدد من المطاعم والمقاهي. محطة الترام القريبة منها هي محطة السلطان أحمد، وهي تبعد أربع دقائق فقط مشياً على الأقدام. ويوجد حول المحطة عدد من محلات صرف العملات، والكثير من المطاعم ومحلات الحلوى التركية. الحي هادئ جداً، وهو في المنطقة المركزية وهو ملاصق لميدان جامع السلطان أحمد، وحديقته، ومتحف حاجية صوفيا، وفي هذا الميدان العديد من فروع ومندوبي شركات السياحة والتي توفر رحلات متنوعة داخل إسطنبول وإلى المدن المجاورة لها مثل بورصة وما حولها. هناك فرصتان للتحسين في هذه الشقة، وهما ضعف الإنترنت خلال المساء، وكذلك عدم وجود قنوات تلفزيونية بغير اللغة التركية، وقد وعد الأخ محمود بحلهما. أنا أنصح بشدة بالتعامل مع محمود والاستفادة من هذه الشقة لمن يحتاج لسعتها وقربها من المنطقة المركزية. Mahmud is a wonderful person. He did his best to make our journey a distinctive one. He answered all my questions. He arranged for us the transportation to and from the airport at a reasonable price, as well as provided us with a card to use public transportation in Istanbul, also provided us with a gallon of water and some juices and snacks. The apartment is very nice. It is completely identical to the photos and the description. It is located in a very quiet street, although it is only two minutes walk away from the Sultanahmet Mosque and the Museum of Hagia Sophia. Near to the apartment, there are two small grocery shops, a barber shop, a laundry, and some of restaurants and cafes. The nearest tram station is Sultanahmet station, which is only four minutes away on foot. There are around the station a number of currency exchange shops, and a lot of restaurants and Turkish sweets and delights shops. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is in the central area and next to the square of Sultan Ahmed Mosque, its garden, and the Museum of Hagia Sophia. In the square, there are many branches and representatives of tourism companies which provide a variety of trips in Istanbul and the neighboring cities such as Bursa and its surrounding. There are two opportunities for improvement in this apartment. The Internet connection was weak during the night, as well as the lack of Non-Turkish TV channels in the cable. Mr. Mahmud has promised to improve these two points. I would strongly recommend to deal with Mahmud and to take advantage of this apartment for anyone who needs its capacity and its location in the central area. Many thanks to Mahmud and Airbnb

  Comments: Mahmud was extremely friendly and helpful. He met us late at night and was always on hand to answer questions or provide info. The accommodation was perfect - clean and tidy, and so close to all the main attractions in Istanbul old town. We pushed the small single bed up against the double for our baby to sleep on next to us, which worked well.

  Comments: Mahmud is a great host. He was waiting for us very early in the morning and helped us with the early checkin. He is very helpful by providing us with the transportation card of Istanbul and answering questions like cellphone card, recommend restaurants, transportation and other useful information instantly by (Hidden by Airbnb) . The apartment is just the same as the pictures on the Airbnb. Very clean and cozy. Equipped with Ikea furniture. There are many kitchen appliance so that we can easily cook by ourselves. The location is the best and convenience. 3 minute walk from Blue Mosque and AyaSophia, and 5 minute walk from Sultanahmet tramway station and Topkapi Palace. Highly recommended place. I have already shared the apartment with my friends and other travelers who will go to Istanbul for sightseeing.

  Comments: Mahmud's apartment in a great location, you can walk to Blue Mosque in two minutes, and walk to the tram in five minutes which can take you to all the beautiful places in Istanbul. There are many lovely restaurants and cafe around the apartment. Every thing in the apartment are new, you can live comfortable there. Mahmud is a really nice man, he arranged the airport transfer for us, and waiting us even our flight is arrive at midnight. He bring us the breakfast on the next day, the bread and juice are really delicious. He also give us many useful information about Istanbul travel, and provide a traffic card for us which can make us easy to take the Tram and Metro in Istanbul. I will suggest every one to stay here when they travel to Istanbul, very nice stay here.

  Comments: Mahmud was really helpful and a kind host! We told him that we'll arrive at his place few hours earlier than the check in time without specifying the time. To our surprise, when we reached at his place, he was there waiting for us from the morning (Really sorry about that). The apartment was great and located at the ground floor which is quite convenient since we brought many heavy bags. It was clean and looked exactly the same from the pictures. The apartment is 10 mins away from sultanahmet tram station and located very near to hagia sophia and blue mosque! The best part about staying at this apartment is that we get to see blue mosque and hagia sophia every single time we walk back to the apartment. Thank you mahmud for your hospitality and we'll definitely stay at your place when we come back to Istanbul one day!

  Comments: Very cosy and spacious apartment, clean and well furnished. Best location possible for tourists, conveniently located actually 5 minutes by foot from Hagia Sofia/Blue Mosque/Cisterna Basilica. Mahmud has been extremely friendly and helpful, unfortunately I wasn't able to meet him in person. Very recommended especially if you're going to Istanbul with the primary intent to visit the ancient city. Perhaps Sultanahmet is not the most vibrant neighbourhood of the city, but quite and clean, with no doubt the most fascinating and rich in history.

  Comments: TWO THUMBS UP! All of us were very pleased with Mahmud's Apartment. To begin with, Mahmud is easy and pleasant to deal with. He replies via (Hidden by Airbnb) instantly. Even though I arrived late (due to loss baggage issues at the airport) and he had other obligations, he still waited for me at the apartment and even gave me a quick lesson over the map (which he provided together with the Istanbul Public Transportation Card) on how to get to the nearest Tramp Station, grocery store, recommended restaurants, money changer, places of interest and etc. Mahmud was also kind enough to provide us with fresh bread, milk, juice, eggs, cheese and etc! upon our arrival. Pictures and descriptions are all accurate. Kitchen and bathroomS well equipped. Beds, chairs and couch all comfortable. Individual doors to every room for privacy. Location, location, location. Mahmud's GROUND FLOOR Apartment is a 4 minute easy walk (no steep slopes) to Sultanahmet Tramp Station. The fact that you are walking by (between) Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia makes it a very scenic walk. Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace entrance, Arasta Bazaar, Turkish Islamic Arts Museum, Basilica Cistern ALL within 5 minute easy walk from Mahmud's Apartment. Even with such close proximity, the apartment is still peaceful and quiet day and night. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Mahmud's Apartment for your Istanbul visit.

  Comments: Sultanahmet vs Taksim Square. The decision was not easy. After I booked Mahmud's place my friends on the trip kept suggesting we cancel this one and book something at Taksim Square. But when all four of us moved to Mahmud's place we realised what a wonderful decision it was. His house may be a trifle small for four but it's very well appointed, tastefully decorated and well located. You could walk to Blue Mosque or Hagia Sophia in three minutes. His flat is close to anything that is mediaeval in Istanbul. We went to Taksim Sq but were not impressed at all. It's noisy and unruly. Sultanahmet is the place where you can spend days without getting bored. There is so much to see. Mahmud's house is in the middle of all the touristy attractions and yet the lane is sublime and quiet. To top it all Mahmud is a non-interfering, 24x7 available host. He is incredibly helpful and amazingly friendly. All four of us spent five nights there and we all felt we had the comfort of home away from home. Thanks very much Mahmud for being a class host.   Comments: Mahmud was an excellent host. Apartment was exactly like in the pictures, very cleaned. Bathroom & kitchen were well equipment (plenty of utensils in the kitchen, almost 10 towels, etc. ). Because we had a small kid with us he arranged for us a child seat, opened the central heating (outside were 18-20 degrees). I have traveled around the world staying in hotels from 2* up to 5*. This was my first time when i have used Airbnb but due to the way Mahmud served us (always smiling, always helpful, great English) I can say it was one of the best accommodation used.

He was very accomodating and always helpful. His house is central in a lovely neighbourhood, close to all the historical sites, the tram station and still manages to be peaceful and quiet. Lots of grocery shops and restaurants nearby. My family and I really enjoyed staying there.

It's situated in the heart of lovely Sultanahmed, just steps away from the Blue Mosque, Aya Sophia and other historical sites of the zone. It's nestled in a cobblestoned, cosy street next to some of the best restaurants (including Palatium Cafe). But the best of it all is Mahmud, a wonderful and kind host who is there anytime you need him. He took time to explain us how to move around and what to see and was there when we needed him. Unfortunately, we were in Istanbul during the military coup but Mahmud was there for us and his apartment was the best shelter we could imagine during this turbulent time. As for the apartment it was neat and tidy with all basic amenities.   Comments: We stayed for 5 nights at Mahmud's apartment. It is spacious, cozy, modern & fully equipped. The 2 bathrooms & the location which is just 5 minutes away from the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya, and the tram station are a big plus. There are grocery stores, cafes and restaurants in the vicinity of the apartment which makes it convenient to get our daily needs. Mahmud made several recommendations to us and even went to great lengths to explain how we can get to Bursa for a day trip. The Istanbulkart which we used for the tram & ferry rides was also provided by Mahmud (please return it to Mahmud so that his next guests can use it). He even provided us some food and ingredients in his fridge and kitchen. He also addressed whatever concerns with us immediately, which we truly appreciate. Mahmud is truly a Superhost!

  Comments: We were spending our time at Mahmud's apartment on December 23rd - 28th 2016. Mahmud is  really a superhost,  he was easily to be contacted everytime we needed him.  The house is very clean,  the first impression when we get there is the house is super comfy, very cozy and warm, and had a very nice (Website hidden by Airbnb) like greets us with its unique scents.. All the rooms have a nice view.. All the heaters are awesome. We spent our time in Istanbul in the most cold weather that time, but in Mahmud's place, we never felt any cold, we felt warm all the time. As a parent, I am very grateful for this bcoz we brought our lil baby n his 2 elder brothers, and obviously it helped us alot (to feel warm all the time). The surrounding environment and neighbourhood are very safe and friendly.. And the location is very accessible by feet to all tour objects and the places of interest. After all, the apartment has only one little minus,  that is the drainage hole in the shower box in the main bathroom was not working well,  even though  the water would slowly going out after very long time.  But of course it can be manageable easily. All in all,  we loved to be there and one day if we would go back to Istanbul, for sure we would like to try Mahmud's other apartment that have a sea view. We are highly recommend the host and his apartment !!

  Comments: I have rented a few places in Istanbul and this was by far the best. The apartment was spotless, nicely furnished and possessed a great deal of charm. It is only a couple of hundred metres from the Blue Mosque, in a quiet street dotted with quaint shopes and lined with some of the most beautiful Ottoman style hotels. As fa as our host Mahmud is concerned, I cannot say enough good things about him. He was absolutely incredible. He received us as one would receive his family. He sat dowhn with us and told us about all the great spots in Istanbul. Our luggage did not arrive on our flight and Mahmud got in touch with the relevant people and made all the necessary arrangements so that we could have our luggage the very next day. If you are visiting Istanbul, look no further because this the place for you. Thank you Mahmud for making us feel so welcome. We look forward to our next visit.

We really cannot say it loud enough , THANK YOU very much Mahmud for making our stay very comfortable and nice. The level of cleanliness was above excellent. Air conditioning worked great. Toiletries were readilly available. The kitchen was extra-ordinarly well equippe (Website hidden by Airbnb) ( +efficient washing machince+ ironing table).Thank you for the refreshments in the fridge, it really helped us alot when we arrived at one o'clock in the morning. Mahmud helped us to arrange transportation from the airport to his apartment , and he was there waiting for our arrival at the door step at one a.m. ( one O'Clock in the early morning). He showed us arround the apartment and gave us very useful advice about the area and public transportation. Wi-Fi- was fast and reliable. Free drinking water is provided by Mahmud. He made our holiday in Istanbual remarkable, as the apartment was only few minuites walk from Blue Mosques and the other popular tourist attractions.   Comments: Where do I begin! Mahmud, is a phenomenal host and his place is perfect!!! The location of the apartment is in walking distance to every major site in the Old City "Sultanhamet" ...steps away from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Topkapi-Palast, and you can also take a 10-15 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar and Spice Market. There is also a local Bazaar within 2-3 minutes of the apartment. We had full wifi access, air condition, 2 full bedrooms which could actually accommodate a group of 5 or 6, 1 full bathroom and 1/2 bath with shower access, washer and area to dry clothes, iron/ironing board, TV access in all rooms, menus for near-by restaurants, and he also provided food for breakfast, bottled water, and soda(kitchen is equipped with all cooking needs and accessories)!!! Everything you need is in his place and if you need anything extra he was just a phone call or text message away. Mahmud, was extremely helpful prior to our arrival. He answered all questions I had, arranged transportation, and provided information on all sites and areas. His place felt like home to us and we look forward to visiting Istanbul again in the future!!

  Comments: We were a group of 6 people and we spent 5 days at Mahmud’s place in Istanbul. Mahmud was a great host, quick with communication and very helpful. He was happy to keep our luggage before/ after the checkin and checkout times, so we didn’t have to carry them around the city. The apartment is nice, amazing location, a few minutes away from Hagia Sofia and Sultanahmet mosque. 6 people slept comfortable, as the living room is separate from the central hall and can easily be used as a third bedroom. Kitchen is also well equipped, which was very handy as we chose to cook ourselves some breakfast in the morning. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, especially on the street behind the apartment. We used trip advisor to help us choose and we didn’t go wrong. If we were to return to Istanbul, we would definitely stay at Mahmud’s place again!

Здесь есть две спальни, две ванные комнаты, гостиная и кухня. Сама квартира находится практически в самом центре исторической части города, сюда очень удобно добираться. Махмуд помог нам составить план посещения достопримечательностей, где вкуснее всего поесть, а также где продаются лучшие сладости. Отвечает практически моментально и всегда может подсказать по интересующему вопросу. Также он познакомил нас с ещё одним замечательным человеком Азизом, ресторан которого находится в соседнем здании. Из ресторана открывается прекрасный вид на пролив, а к вечеру там очень тихо и уютно. А уж готовит Азиз просто великолепно. Если вы останавливаетесь здесь, то знайте, что вам повезло :)

It is well equipped, all equipment that you need for the long stay can be found in this amazing apartment. The location is awesome, close to all main activities in Sultanahmet area. Metro station of Sultanahmet is very close (5 minutes walking). Mahmod is very cooperative and helpful host, he prepared everything for us as a host. He is living close to the apartment and he can answer quickly. He also arranged for us a transportation to the airport. Площадь Султанахмед в 3-х минутах, на улицу ближе к Босфору огромное множество ресторанчиков, где можно отлично пообедать/поужинать и покурить кальян, к примеру. Сама квартира точно соответствует описанию и представленным фото. Махмут отличный хост, отвечал оперативно, подготовил для нас карту и купил некоторое количество продуктов в холодильник на первый перекус после самолета. Недостатков в квартире не замечено. Безусловно, рекомендуем всем потенциальным путешественникам и будем рекомендовать всем своим друзьям и знакомым.

  Comments: What an amazing experience! Though our stay was brief, two nights to be exact but we had a wonderful time. Location, location , location. This place is located perfectly in between Hagia Sofia and SultanEhmet Mosque. In addition within close proximity to Arasta Bazaar, Topkapi Palace and many restaurants and nice shops. Metro station is also within walking distance. Mahmud arranged transportation to and from the Airport for an additional charge. He was nice enough to respond to my very late night request to arrange transportation to the airport as our pieces of luggage increased in number with all the shopping we could do in 24 hours. Mahmud received us and saw us off at the apartment. He had light breakfast and sundries in the refrigerator. Apartment was very immaculately decorated, clean and tidy. The area felt very safe as we came back very late at night. Very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Since it was four of us, we had the entire apartment to ourselves. It indeed felt like a home away from home. We are planning to stay here next year as well. It was my husband's first Air BNB experience so I was a bit nervous but I am so happy that he loved it. Strongly recommending Mahmud's beautiful abode!

  Comments: Super Host! Wonderful apartment! same as on photos. Nice, handy and clean. Two separate bathrooms give a special comfort. Nice and fast WiFi Although there are many restaurants around, it is very quiet area both day and night time. There is everything you need for cooking, also dishwashing machine, washing machine, iron, hair drier etc. Fantastic location: Sultanahmet mosque - 3-5 min walk Walking to Galata bridge will take about 25-30 min (depend how fast you are )) Tram station - 5 min walk Taxi office - 3 min walk (you can wait for taxi there 24h) Special thanks to Mahmud (the Host), he met us in time (we came even earlier), arranged a shuttle from airport, explained all the things in apartment, and was helping us with all our questions during our stay (even helped to call a taxi couple of times).   Comments: Mahmud was super nice and helpful, gave us local tips and suggestions for our short stay. The flat is in the PERFECT location! Just 5 min from Hagia Sofia & Blue Mosque, close to T1 tram line which can bring you right to Galata and close to restaurants and shops. It was 6 of us but the flat is really spacious and it has 2 bathrooms so no queues in the morning :) Would definitely recommend & definitely go there again next time I'll be in Istanbul !

  Comments: Don’t look further! This is a brilliant space almost steps away from Blue mosque and other landmarks. A very spacious place for 5-6 people. Fully equipped kitchen. Excellent WiFi.   Comments: Besser kann eine Wohnung in Istanbul nicht liegen. Im Zentrum und dennoch sehr ruhig. Die Wohnung ist top ausgestattet und hat alles und mehr was man für einen Aufentahlt braucht. Mahmud ist ein sehr netter und aufmerksamer host und ist jederzeit für seine Besucher erreichbar. Am Tag der Ankunft waren Wasser und sogar Kleinigkeiten (oliven,käse etc) im Kühlschrank zum essen bereit. Vielen lieben Dank nochmal mahmud :)

The host was very helpful as he even arranged our airport pick-up and drop-off. Unfortunately, the AC was not working in two of the rooms for two days. However, Mahmud did arrange someone to fix it. Overall, we loved the place.

It's convenient to walk to the main scenic spots, and it's two or three stops away from here by tram. The house is comfortable, like my own. The landlord also provided us with some food in the fridge, which helped us a lot when we were not used to cooking Turkish food by ourselves. The landlord ended up ordering cars for us, stocking up on books from lonely planet Turkey, and adding more options and detail to our free-wheeling game. Thank you very much.

  Comments: Mahmud's apartment is a perfect gem hidden in the heart of Sultanahmet square. The neighborhood is safe and quiet but for just 3 min walk you can pop up right in front of the Blue Mosque. Topkapi Palace is just 400 meters away up hill. I can't find any more convenient place to stay than this. Mahmud welcomed us at the check in and explain everything you need to know about the place and facilities. He kindly called a cab for us when needed. There is free wifi and drinking water provided which is perfect. The place is near many good restaurants, bistros and minimarts and there are some street cats visiting the apartment for some cat treats. Located on the first floor, the apartment is clean and spacious. It can fit 4 people comfortably and can stretch to 6-7 people. Everything described in the airbnb page is exactly the same as the real place. The second bathroom is a little smaller than the first one but it functions. I highly recommend this place and will refer it to my friends. Thanks again, Mahmud.

Thanks for being considerate so that we don't have to buy outside everytime or boil ourselves. Thanks for allowing us to check in earlier & leave our luggage inside after check out time. Even though the house is on the street, but it's not noisy at all. Nearby to restaurant , supermarket& attractions. Although there is only 2 bedroom & 2 of us (we have total 6 ppl) have to sleep in the living room but the living room has it's own door. So it can be 3 bedroom!   Comments: The location was great. Everything was nearby, almost all of the museums where under 15 minutes walk. With the t1 station (Sultanahmet about 6 minutes walk) you could reach alot of Famous tourist locations. Even though the weather in Istanbul was cold (4-6°C) the apartment was very warm. The only problem we faced was a pipe problem in the old town area. We had no water for about 2 hours on two days of our journey

Located literally less than 5minutes from Hagia Sofia , Blue Mosque etc. Several mini shops around if you need any essentials, lots of restaurants around too. He was able to meet us both during check in and check out and was really helpful when we had to ask for favours. And we really appreciate the snacks and drinking water provided. The place was clean and definitely suitable for family with small children, there’s even a baby chair provided. Communication was great too - a plus when Mahmud is really fluent in English. It was our best stay throughout our trip to Turkey. Highly recommended and I’ve already shared this place with my friends. Thank you so much !
