  Comments: Loli and Natti made the whole experience seamless. Communication was very easy because Loli is French and everything was planned in advance. They gave me directions to come from Newark and picked me up at the metro station. Everything was better than I expected: their place was spotless and the floors were gleaming. Walking in the historic Bedford District neighborhood was amazing, and when I entered, the garden apartment was beautifully decorated and artistic. The room was super comfortable. With the A train, I was able to get to Manhattan in 4 stops! If I need to come back to NYC, I know where to stay! Merci encore!

  Comments: I was just in New York City for a conference at CUNY Grad Center and consider myself very lucky to have found the ideal sanctuary in Loli and Natti's room. Not only were they charming and attentive hosts, engaging with me exactly as much as I desired and never more, offering the kind of advice on transportation and dining that only locals can give, but the interior was spotless and more like a luxury Manhattan apartment than I have seen in Manhattan. My room was spacious, elegant, uncluttered, immaculate and full of natural sunlight. Though the house is a classic Brooklyn brownstone, everything about their apartment - from the paint to the tiling to the appliances - was brand-new and yet somehow designed to feel warm and personal. I can't believe what a good deal this is for the level of refinement that Loli and Natti provide. Highly recommended.

  Comments: So, so lovely. Loli and Natti are people of remarkable openness, considerate, and exceptionally friendly. They were caring (before, during and after I stayed at their home). Two people you absolutely need to meet! Besides being lovely people, they have a well-located apartment that allows you to visit both Brooklyn and Manhattan (easy access with the A express train). The room is spacious and super quiet, with view on the private garden. I definitely recommend organizing your stay with Loli and Natti. I will stay at their home again in the future!

  Comments: What a joy it was to stay at Loli and Natti's. The room and house was not only comfortable but an aesthetic delight. Proof of the comfort of new bed was how well I slept. Room looks out on an inner courtyard, enhancing the sense of privacy and quiet in the middle of the city.The hosts took great care to meet my needs.   Comments: This was my first experience with Airbnb, and I cannot say enough good things about my hosts, Loli and Natti. Loli provided very clear directions to the apartment from the airport, and they were both there to welcome me even after my flight was delayed 2 hours. My room was even more pleasant than advertised, with windows that looked out on a private garden. Loli and Natti both provided tips and suggestions on restaurants, museums, parks and attractions that I should visit on my trip. In addition to being attentive and helpful hosts, they very graciously accommodated my schedule as I came and went. This was my first trip back to NYC in 20 years, and Loli and Natti (and Phillip!) made it a wonderful experience. I cannot thank them enough.

They offered me water or something to drink right away and were very helpful with finding the subway and getting situated. Great place to stay. Great host.   Comments: Kind-hearted hosts, cozy room, soft bed, and perfectly hot shower that I didn't want to leave. The description of this listing is accurate; you get exactly what is promised. While I didn't interact with Loli and Natti as much as some of the other reviewers (I was exhausted after my days trekking through the city and tended to shut my door and flop onto the aforementioned soft bed), every interaction I had with them was pleasant, and they were always making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. If I have friends looking to stay in Brooklyn in the future. I would recommend this place without hesitation!

The room was lovely with a view into the back yard garden, and clean with fresh sheets on the bed, clean towels and some packaged slippers that I didn't end up using. She offered lots of information on local restaurants and events happening in Brooklyn. I was in town visiting my brother so I didn't hang out around the apartment much, but when I did it was very nice and quiet. I enjoyed my stay.

  Comments: This was probably my best Airbnb experience so far! Though Loli was out of the country, she was so helpful in making sure that I was taken care of. She put me in touch with Natti, who was just the absolute best! Everything from check in to sightseeing and restaurant recommendations, our late night chats, and even calming me down while I was panicking about flight delays! He really made sure I had everything I needed to feel at home, and that's exactly how I felt. The place is absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and well taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone, not just for the beautiful home but for the amazing hosts!

  Comments: What a great journey did I had in the last days!!! When I did arrive in New York around Penn Station I thought what a hectical place,but everything changed when I did go to Brooklyn and met Natti. Loli was at a busines trip to Greece so I had not the honor to meet the other half of a great team but Natti gave with their beautiful home thé place to relax what you need. The house is in a nice safe neighbourhood,very clean bedroom, bathroom and a great hospitality. What do you want more?I can give only compliments and miss the place already.   Comments: This was my first Airbnb experience. Newly renovated brownstone was a perfect choice, not only because of comfortable stay, but must of all for people I met the re! Loli accepted my request at once and after that she was giving me all necessary info about my journey in NYC for like a month prior my arrival, so that I'm very thankful ! That's why When I finally met her was like we know each other for a long time! We also had interesting conversations in the morning, When I had breakfast and Loli didn't miss to prepare me an italian espresso which I adore! I didnt' have much time to talk with Nati. At the moment was very busy, but all we said was very interesting. And there is the third, Who is never mentioned,Phil. He used to be very busy, but it's very kind and helpful person! When I left this place, was like leaving my home. Highly reccomended place to stay!

  Comments: The photos show a beautiful home, so that is to be expected, but the people of the home are the most beautiful part. Natti was a wonderful man who always had coffee/espresso and toast in the morning, and always a song on his mind and in his step. Loli was just as interesting as described in her bio, and she glows with kindness and generosity. Unfortunately we were only there for a short time, but the time spent was enough to want to return. 10 minute walk to the A & C train, short Uber ride to Williamsburg.

Both really make your stay in NYC or Brooklyn worthwhile. They really live the idea of Airbnb.   Comments: Bei meiner Ankunft war Loli im Ausland, ich wurde aber sehr herzlich von Natti empfangen. Er hat sich sehr bemüht, dass ich mich wohl fühle. Nebst vielen Tips für empfehlenswerte Sehenswürdigkeiten und spezielle Orte sowie vegane Restaurants hat er jeden Morgen Kaffee für mich gekocht und feine Toasts zubereitet. Ausserdem hatten wir sehr interessante Gespräche. Das Zimmer war sehr angenehm, ruhig und sauber. Da es auf der Rückseite des Hauses zum kleinen Garten hin liegt, konnte ich in der Nacht sogar bei offenem Fenster schlafen, was ich sehr geschätzt habe. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, die Nachbarschaft ruhig und angenehm. Loli habe ich nur noch ganz kurz vor meiner Abreise kennengelernt, aber wir hatten im Vorfeld immer wieder Kontakt per E-mail. Sie hat sich sehr bemüht, dass alles klappt.

  Comments: Loli und Natti wohnen in einer Wohnung in einem Brownstone House in Brooklyn. Die Straße an sich ist ruhig, einen Straßenblock weiter tobt aber - insbesondere am Wochenende - das Leben. Loli und Natti sind genau wie aus dem Inserat zu interpretieren geht, zwei hoch interessante Persönlichkeiten. Ich hatte vor allem mit Natti zu tun, weil Loli für ein paar Tage verreist war. Er hat sich hingebungsvoll um mein Wohlbefinden bemüht - und das ist ihm auch gelungen, mir hat es extrem gut gefallen! Unsere Gespräche gingen weit über die üblichen Airbnb-Gespräche hinaus.

  Comments: This was my second stay here, after having so much enjoyed my NYC experience last time at this Airbnb. It was even better! Loli had the whole garden planted, lighted and furnished, providing the perfect retreat from the business of the city. At this place it was possible to sleep very soundly in the city that never sleeps. Little welcoming touches such as the high quality morning espresso and chocolates were delightful. Basics such as cleanliness were, in my experience, on a par with highly rated hotels. I look forward to my next trip.

  Comments: Loli and Nati were such warm hosts that made me feel immediately at home. Their place was super clean, and had an artsy feel to it, which was inspiring as well as calming. Being there inspired me to start writing again! They gave me suggestions on what to do/where to go based on what I liked, and spent time getting to know me as a person, instead of just a guest. It added a social element to the stay that I couldn't have gotten from a hotel, which is nice because my friend that was supposed to go on the trip with me had to cancel due to a medical incident, so I was on the trip by myself for the first couple of days. The neighborhood was safe and convenient to the nearest subway station. Brooklyn itself is a melting pot of different ethnicities and the food/restaurants in the areas reflected that melting pot. The reasonable pricing, warm hosts, charming/clean place, and interesting/safe neighborhood makes this stay a great decision. I'd definitely stay here again when I come back to NYC!

  Comments: There are not enough words to show how great these people are. Natti and Loli are warm, generous, thoughtful, considerate, smart and kind. They make you feel like being home. It comes with the whole staying experience. Since this is my first time away from my own country, it's not quite possible to make me feel this way. Yet Loli and Natti managed to do a great job. The room is pretty much as how they put in the description, clean and beautiful in a good neighborhood. If these are what you looking for, then this is your place. Otherwise, don't bother. Loli and Natti are too good for that.

  Comments: I fell in love with Loli & Natti even before I began my trip. From their clear, friendly communications to Natti's kindness in meeting me at the subway to guide me home (& carry my bag, which seemed to have gained 20 pounds!), they couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Natti had arranged for me to bring home a delicious meal from a nearby Jamaican restaurant, and set me up in the pretty little garden outside my window--a thoughtfulness that was echoed many times during my 3 nights in Brooklyn. (I used to live in Greenwich Village, and "Bed-Stuy" was a revelation--I loved it.) The room couldn't have been better, with a comfortable queen-size bed, pretty appointments, and a fresh lily on my bed table. With fresh air coming in from the garden and utter quiet in the room, I slept like a baby every night. Loli and Natti, a teacher of French literature and a musician/actor respectively, are vibrant, interesting people. They gave me good breakfasts and afternoon tea, and generally looked after me like a favorite aunt. I would return with great pleasure, and recommend this charming B&B to any visitor who loves good company, good taste, and comfort. Thanks!

  Comments: Le logement que j'ai occupé à Brooklyn pendant mes deux semaines passées à New York est relativement bien situé. A une dizaine de minutes à pied se trouve la station de métro la plus proche. La ligne A s'y arrête. Si vous prenez la direction "uptown", Manhattan (qui concentre 90% des "incontournables" de la Grosse Pomme) est à seulement quatre stations. En sens inverse, cette même ligne vous conduit directement à l'Airtrain (sorte de tramway aérien) qui vous dépose à l'aéroport JFK. Si donc vous souhaitez loger chez Loli, je vous conseille vivement d'atterrir à cet aéroport. Vous trouverez à Marcy Avenue plusieurs épiceries qui pourront vous être utiles à quasi n'importe quelle heure de la journée qui pour un jus, un hamburger, un gâteau, un retrait d'espèces, etc... La chambre, calme (pas un bruit), lumineuse et donnant sur le jardin à l'arrière, est munie d'un très grand lit. Les petites attentions étaient là, et j'en fus sensible : carte de métro mise à disposition, petit paquet de délicieux chocolats, changement de la literie, chocolat le matin (que je n'ai jamais pris tellement j'étais pressé, à chaque fois, de partir à la découverte de "la ville qui ne dort jamais")... Et quand il me manquait quelque chose, Loli s'en occupait tout de suite. Ainsi acheta-t-elle aussitôt des cintres et une couette pour me satisfaire. Je pourrais résumer cela en une seule courte phrase : "aussi tôt dit, aussi tôt fait". Nous ne nous sommes guère vu pendant mon séjour, Loli et Natty ayant dû chacun s'absenter quelques jours et moi me baladant incessamment à New York. Cela ne m'a pas trop dérangé dans la mesure où quand je rentrais à Brooklyn après avoir marché, marché et encore marché (prévoyez une bonne paire de tennis si vous comptez vous rendre dans la Grosse Pomme), je ne demandais qu'à prendre une bonne douche puis aller me coucher. Le jour de mon départ, m'attendaient devant ma chambre deux cadeaux. Encore merci.

  Comments: I had a very warm welcome at Loli's and was made to to feel at home straight away. As a first time airbnbr I was a bit nervous but I soon felt very comfortable as I was shown my lovely room just as described on the site. The whole appt has been lovingly and tastefully decorated and it is super clean and tidy. The bathroom is great with a bath and a super shower. I was given some great advice as to where to eat in the area (Saraghina a truly fantastic Italian). The area has some lovely houses in it (Brownstones) and is very friendly.

  Comments: Loli and Natti were amazing hosts. Every great review they've had so far has been very true. They are very welcoming and I felt very much at home during my stay. They have a very nice, quiet, and clean home that they decorate nicely, and the room I had was perfect. I was provided with a comfortable bed, towels, and hairdryer. They have a 3rd room mate, but he's hardly there. I still felt I had lots of privacy, and having two washrooms helped a lot. Due to our schedules, I didn't get to see them too often during my 4 night stay. But they offered me great suggestions for food places in the area and sites to see around NYC. I would consider staying with them again if I come back to Bedford-Stuy. The neighborhood is nice with very old buildings like the rest of Brooklyn. It's very residential, lots of families, a church, and an elementary school or two, and some of the inner streets might be very quiet. There's quite a few cheap eats between the apartment and the Nostrand train stop. Nostrand street is very active due all the businesses running there. If you feel safer walking down a more active street, especially around the late hours, Nostrand would be good. There's a also a few grocery stores and laundry all within walking distance.

  Comments: Loli and Natti were excellent hosts. The day we arrived we were welcomed as if we had been friends for ever. They explained to us the neighbourhood, how to catch the subway, parking, restaurants in the neighbourhood,etc. The neighbourhood was very safe, we were able to walk to the subway easily to get to Manhattan, using the A train and spent our time exploring NYC, non-stop. In the morning a tray was set up for us to have coffee and on our return after a long day it was so nice to slip under the covers for a good night sleep. Very quiet and restful. We highly recommend staying and would return again for sure. Thanks so much.

  Comments: This was my first Airbnb experience and what a great one it was. I wasn't able to check in until much later than expected, and Nathanial made me feel at ease. He even came out to join me at the Veteran Artist Program event where we were able to talk for awhile and learn a little about each other. When I arrived I was shown around the gorgeous apartment where I had fresh towels, chocolates, and even a pair of slippers waiting. Sitting on the table was everything needed to French Press my coffee in the morning and was given instructions on using the boiler for the water. In the morning I was able to get some work done while drinking my coffee and later Nathanial came in and we had a great conversation about the event, and about the neighborhood as well as the history of the house. I couldn't be more impressed. I even was able to get free parking on the street just as Loli recommended. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone coming into the area.

  Comments: Where do I begin? As a first time solo traveller, solo air Bnb guest and first time trip to America. Loli and Natti were absolutely amazing. They were so welcoming for a nervous first timer from London, and made me feel right at home. From helping order pizza, to small notes in the morning, to even the nicety of allowing me to steal the shower as I was running late. These 2 are truly awesome hosts with a charming style and a beautiful home. My only regret is I did not stay longer as I was in a great location, with lovely people and my own beautiful room! Thank you guys! It was wonderful!

  Comments: There are more cons than pros staying in this apartment based on the fact that much Loli wrote on her page is somewhat fallacious or misleading and so while I enjoyed aspects of my stay I couldn't recommend it. Firstly she says she lives a block away from the subway. Untrue. She lives half a mile away and it takes an average of 15 minutes to walk there. She doesn't mention that you have to share a bathroom so you need patience. She lives in a very outside area of Brooklyn but once you get to the subway train connections are certainly efficient. You share the apartment with Loli and her husband and if he's home a third person again not mentioned. Fortunately for me he was out of town. They are slightly but overly helpful the bed is a thin mattress which I found uncomfortable. This is definitely not worth the price.

  Comments: I thoroughly enjoyed staying at Loli's house. She was a warm and inviting host with many tips on getting round the area. The house was just as described and the bed was super comfortable. Many special touches were added such as water and yummy chocolates upon arrival and I even received a NYC t-shirt as a gift when I left, such a lovely touch! As a single female I didn't feel 100% comfortable to walk around the neighbourhood at night, but other than that I found the area gorgeous, and full of history.

Loli gave us lots of help with where to visit and Natti ran out into the rainy street in his slippers to get us a taxi for the airport when we were stuck. That was special!   Comments: The apartment is definitely worth its price. It is almost central located. It should take you a 10 minutes walk to get to the subway stations (A/C/G line) and from there 4 stops to get directly into Manhattan or Williamsburg. The apartment is very nice, you have to share the kitchen and the bathrooms with Loli, Natti and Phil. This was never a problem. The kitchen and the bathroom are very nice decorated. The bedroom is spacious and I really liked the big and comfortable bed itself :). The only thing might be that the WiFi-connection is sometimes kinda unstable..but that doesnt matter - in NY there are better things to do than browsing ;) Natti and Loli are very nice hosts - I got a lot of information before my arrival (laundry etc.) and they gave me a lot of useful hints where to get breakfast, dinner etc. (you really should follow their recommandations). Besides that I had the pleasure to enjoy with them their birthday partys and one of Nattis shows. Sometimes Loli took me in her car to my work (when she left Brooklyn for her work as well). Loli and Natti do really care about the wellbeing of their guests and are interested in the person itself. I really apprceciate that. You might meet Phil sometimes in the apartment - he is a very nice and helpful guy as well. To come to an overall conclusion I can really recommend the apartment of Loli and Natti for a (business)trip to NY.

I changed our plans the day of arrival re: when we were to arrive, and she was accomodating to our needs and was able to be available to show us the apartment and get us settled in. The apt. was about a 15 minute walk from the subway and the ride into Manhattan was 30-40 minutes. There were many places to eat near the subway station and one breakfast restaurant just a couple blocks from the apt. that was very delicious. She was available in the mornings to make suggestions for sights to see in the city and took time to send us links via text to make our experience enriching. Her home was lovely and the bedroom was very comfortable. She has a roommate who we only saw glimpses of. He did not seem to be part of the air BnB experience and was not interested in socializing.

The apartment was beautifully decorated and clean, and as an added bonus, has a wonderful private garden.   Comments: My friend and I enjoyed staying with Loli. She took careof us even before we arrived. The room was perfect with a view into a small backyard. The area we loved...its in a process of change and you see all kind of people there. It is safe walking around and at the corner bedford/monrose is a citibike station (5min walk). Riding the bike is a good way to get around. It only takes you 25min to Wilhelmsburg Bridge (there u can change the bike to go to Manhattan). Everyday Loli gave us tipps near by or elsewhere.   Comments: The space and location of Loli's apartment was fine, but I couldn't recommend staying there. During the time of my stay, Loli was in France due to a family emergency. She had a caretaker taking care of the apartment. Unbeknownst to Loli and myself, the caretaker was staying there with her family which included her young two year old. So there were up to 6 people staying in the house (on one night the other housemate had a guest) and sharing a bathroom. This was quite a different experience from what I expected or desired. To compensate me for my troubles, Loli offered me 'one of her favorite bottles of wine'. But, this never materialized. The bathroom was sometimes dirty (of course with 5 people and a baby) and the air-conditioning was on intermittently and the wifi was very slow and weak. My previous experiences with Air Bnb in NYC had been great, so this was very disappointing.

The neighborhood is rapidly changing, but coming back late at night can be challenging as some young men in the area look as they may be willing to take advantage of you not being part of the scene. We felt uncomfortable twice with two characters approaching us. Everything else wa excellent . On our last night, we stayed until 2:30 AM, and Sunday morning the noise created at 8 AM was incredibly high.

She has been extremely responsive and helpful before my trip to New York, and once there she made our life extremely easy as she helped us find our way to get to hers, allowed us to drop our luggage before the actual check-in time so we don't wander around with heavy bags. She has a sort of flyer ready for her guests, with recommendations of things to do, restaurants etc in NY..and I felt like it was a really nice attention for her guests. Besides the appeal of the house, the building is historic in a neighborhood that has quite amazing architecture not yet invaded by chains and Starbucks, but rather small family owns restaurants and cafés. Can't wait to visit again!

It's a bit of a hike to the subway but the fact you have the G, A and C trains and B52 bus gives quite a few options for getting around. I would stay here again ..

Loli and Olivia were great hosts- very tidy! Even though Loli wasn't in the city she was always available to communicate and made it easy for us to get to the apartment (directions, suggestions for food, etc). The place was also very warm even though outside there were close to -25 celsius :p However beware light sleepers, the upstairs neighbours have a dog and make noise during the night. The location is absolutely perfect, especially if you (like us) want to explore Brooklyn as much as you want to explore Manhattan. Getting to Loli's place from JFK-airport is also more than easy, due to the fact that the train stops a 10 minute walk from the apartment at Nostrand Ave. The apartment itself is nice an cosy. Loli is a really nice person who makes you feel at home. She even invited us to join her and her friends for dinner (twice!). Would definitely stay here again when coming back. The only thing that might be handy to know for future guests: the garden is only accessible via the room of Loli's roommate, so sometimes (especially in the weekends in the morning) you won't be able to access it. We didn't bother though, but it's nice to know!

  Comments: We had a great stay at Loli's place in Brooklyn; her place is clean, the bedroom is spacious (has a heater and fan), and it's about a 12 minute walk to the nearest subway station into Manhattan. Loli is really friendly and helpful - she suggested places to eat and a car service that took us back to the airport (Brooklyn to LaGuardia for $30). She also gave us access to her fridge and her other belongings (plates, kitchen, towels). Also her instructions to get to her place were really clear and we didn't have any trouble finding it. We met another Airbnb couple who were also staying at the same place and they were really friendly. Although it was a bit challenging at times using the bathroom in the morning there was a half bathroom beside the main bathroom to accommodate. If another occasion arises we'd definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Loli's apartment is lovely and Loli was so kind and helpful, making our stay such an enjoyable one. This was our first time to Brooklyn and we would certainly recommend Loli's place. Very clean, homely and with all the amenities that we needed. The location is very convenient for Manhattan and the local has some great places to eat. We recommend Saraghina for an amazing atmosphere and delicious wood fired pizzas. Also close by was Le Paris Dakar for excellent home-made style crepes for breakfast.

  Comments: This is an absolute gem - my best airbnb experience to date. The apartment is so charming and cosy, with a really warm atmosphere. There were so many small but telling details - a note on the door to welcome me, slippers laid out, filtered water in the fridge... The shower is great, the bed incredibly cosy, good hairdryer, plenty of clothes hangers, even an umbrella. The location is great and perfect for exploring Brooklyn. Loli was also great at accommodating my request to leave my suitcase in the apartment whilst I took a last day of meetings. I cannot recommend enough!

  Comments: This was my first experience as an Airbnb guest and I would definitely use Airbnb again. Loli was a kind and considerate host before, during and after my stay. She was quick to reply to my messages and gave very clear instructions on how to get from the airport in Newark to her apartment and also how to get into the apartment. She messaged to find out if I'd arrived. When I got to the apartment even though she was not there throughout my stay I felt welcomed and comfortable. Little things such as a welcome note on my bedroom door and chocolates were lovely touches. Loli also left information re Wi-Fi, travel and places to eat and see. I left a little after the check-in time and she was flexible.
