  Comments: This was a lovely condo. Very clean and tastefully decorated. All modern, upgraded appliances and a wonderful location! If you are looking for an outstanding location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city, this is a great spot! Their is a convenience store right next door in case you forgot anything, and a cute little BBQ joint. The beaches are gorgeous and its in great proximity to North Shore and Kailua. I would defiantly recommend this location and house to anyone coming to Oahu. My only concern was that it was a little stuffy and hot, and it would be nice to have a portable fan to move from room to room. Other than that, I would defiantly rent here again!

  Comments: Our stay in Kaaawa was great. The area was quiet, away from the city, and a beautiful drive along the coast. We were welcomed with a few treats, the neighbors gave us some mangos, and we felt at home immediately. Nancy's home was well decorated and the amenities were as described. There was unusually warmer temps with humidity but with fans running and windows open, it was fine including at night. My family especially loved being across from the beach (water shoes recommended!) and the lovely little garden in the front yard. It was a great spot to observe nature and find geckos. We also like the close proximity of the Kualoa Ranch Beach Park-we loved the beautiful grounds and being able to swim directly in front of Chinaman's Hat island. We would definitely stay here again.

Nancy was the best and easy to contact if needed. The area is so peaceful and I would definitely recommend the house to anyone looking for peace.   Comments: We loved staying here! The apartment is lovely and spacious and the area is quiet and absolutely beautiful. Nancy thought of everything - coffee, info about the area, beach towels, etc. We didn't cook, but the kitchen was fully stocked with pans and appliances if you wanted to. Would be a great place for an extended stay. My favorite part was that the mattresses were really comfortable! I have stayed at a few Airbnb places and usually the mattresses aren't great - these were great! :)

  Comments: The suite is very spacious and lovely. It's much better in person. It's right across from the beach/park. We packed very light .. Beach towels ..provided..washer and dryer ..provided..We went beach hoping everyday even when its raining. $35 dollar in gas for total 6 days driving and free parking :) only downside is that there are not many restaurants/shops around the area that stay open after 7pm. 7-11 is our only option for quick meals. If you are planning to stay away from waikiki, i highly recommend Nancy suite!! Would definite come bck when its not Hawaii rainy season.. Thank you Nancy!

  Comments: Amazing house and amazing location, initially we though the house is bit far from the main city Honolulu. But after we reached the house, and seeing the neighbourhood we got amazed with the location(Beach infront of the house and hills in the back). The house was neatly setup, with extra comforters, towels. Nancy is really a nice lady, she kept on enquiring about our comforts till last day. This location is very near to Polynacian Center, kualoa ranch, Sunset beach. Another nice thing about Kaaawa is, this part of the island is mostly rainy(at least when we were there) that makes it more beautiful. Mahola Nancy(Second Hawaiin word I know apart Aloha :)) We will be back soon!

  Comments: Nancy was so easy to communicate with, she would respond very quickly and was very accommodating. Her place is very clean, spacious, quiet and in a beautiful location. She welcomed us with chocolate macadamia's and provided bottled water and coffee for us which we were very grateful for :) The photos don't do this place justice! We loved the welcome dog! Kaa'awa is a somewhat remote location, but that is why we liked it! There was no one on the beach anytime we went! Just remember to bring food supplies with you because the only place closely you can purchase food/drinks is 7-11. This is the BEST place to stay if you have a wedding at Kualoa Ranch, it is also convenient to get to the North Shore and Sand Bar in Kaneohe. Crouching Tiger hike nearby is also very cool. A great place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu!

  Comments: Nancy, her family, and the neighbors were all very warm & welcoming. Nancy is a great hostess! She was readily available, a phone call away to assist us. She arranged surf lessons for our son, brought us an extra fan, and when we thought we might be in a situation with where we were scheduled to stay next, one phone call on a late Sunday evening, she welcomed us to come back and stay if we needed to. The neighbors, some of which are related to Nancy gave us information about the area, things we might want to go see and do, as well as local places to eat. The listing and pictures of the area are accurate. Across the street there is a green belt park area that goes down to the water, no more beach though, apparently two weeks before we arrived, the ocean washed that section of the beach away.

  Comments: We stayed 2 weeks at Nancy's apartment and we really enjoyed our vacation. The apartment was comfortable, we did not put the A/C on (we don't like A/C.,,) and survived! The beach was just across the street which was nice. The traffic can be an issue: it is a little noisy. The kitchen is nice but don't expect to find everything if you cook a lot, we had to get creative!! We would definitively go back to Nancy's apartment if we go back to Oahu.

It’s also awesome that right next door you have a 7/11 – this makes it very much convenient. There is a dog onsite (I believe the neighbor’s dog), but don’t be intimidated…that is the sweetest dog ever…I never heard the dog bark at all. We actually felt protected by the dog. Nancy, thank you very much for lending us your home! We had a GREAT TIME. I absolutely highly recommend this home. I will 100% stay here again – someday soon, hopefully! Mahalo!!

  Comments: WoW, WoW, WoW. Nancy is awesome. We entered a 2 bedroom unit welcomed with chocolates and a shining place. Clean towels, kitchen, bed, bathroom and everything else. Unit is right in front of the beautiful ocean once you open the door. Neighborhood is very quite and relaxing in the north shores of Oahu. Nancy came to us the next day to welcome us in present and suggested us definitely check out the PCC center which we did and had an awesome experience. Everything aside, there was a small problem that I have to mention and that is the unit's a very good place for 4 people. There is a 5th bed in the unit however it is not a comfortable bed to sleep on and the 5th person will be unhappy at nights if your party is greater than 4. In conclusion, we had an awesome stay at Nancy's place in Kaawa. Definitely suggest to book it if you like to have a relaxing stay in a clean unit with a very good price in Oahu.

  Comments: Nancy is an excellent host! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, including a nice welcome package as well as a parting gift. The amenities were great; having a washer/dryer available meant that we didn't have to pack as many clothes or underwear and the beach towels Nancy provided checked one more thing off of our packing list. The property met - and exceeded - my expectations. It's easy to find and has a nicely appointed interior. The two beds were very comfortable and I slept just as good as I would at home. The extra foldout bed was even comfortable enough for my teenage sister-in-law to sleep on without any complaints! One of the things we enjoyed the most about our stay was the location. Kaaawa is outside of the major tourist areas, so we were able to avoid crowds and have some of the smaller, off-the-beaten-path beaches to ourselves. There are some great, if underrated, hikes nearby and the 7-11 next door makes it easy to find a late night snack or pick up any essentials you may have left at home. If you like dogs, you'll love Nancy's neighbor's dog, Hulk (we didn't know his name at first so we called him Gus). He's the 'guard dog' and is a memorable part of our experience at Nancy's Paradise Beach House. We found several entries in Nancy's guest logs that mentioned how much they loved Hulk. I recommend this place for anyone, especially families or couples, looking for a nice private residence to stay in that's away from the hustle and bustle of Honolulu or North Shore tourist hotspots.

Even though it was about a 30-40 minute drive to most popular places on the island it was well worth it. The house is located on the country side of the island which makes it that much more beautiful! We all agreed that the house is and has all you need on a trip. We are also thankful with the neighbor who was so friendly and resourceful when we had questions. The dog is also very friendly and not to be concerned about. We would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Nice, clean, roomy and well equipped unit! It's the lower unit so to get a view you have to go outside. The beach across the highway is not a swimming beach, but it was nice for a stroll and to sit and relax. The highway is very busy, but the bedrooms are in the back away from noise. It was not what I hoped for but we still had a great stay with no problems. Nancy's brother and wife were very friendly and it felt comfortable to stay there. It was a nice first AirBnB experience for us.

We were a family of 5 and found the apartment to be sufficiently spacious although outdoor space is limited. We had a 6mo baby and a 7 yo and all of us enjoyed the quick beach access. The 7/11 next door was super convenient. We didn't use the AC in the place as we let in the breeze from the ocean. There's outdoor taps to wash of the sand and Nancy provided us with beach towels and other sundries. Highly recommended! Abhijit

  Comments: This place is good and affordable compared to Waikiki. It's also close to a beautiful beach, though it's not that swimmable. There is Kaaawa beach very close driving distance. There was road construction and only 1 main road, which made driving to other destinations on the island a challenge. It's close to 711, but far from any type of larger stores like a Safeway. It's very rural. If you like to get away from the crowded Waikiki, it's a good place, just be prepared to drive a lot. Other than that, it's good place if you have kids and are looking for a budget.

  Comments: Nancy's place was the perfect location for our stay. 15min to Polynesian Cultural Center . Foodland and Tamuras and Longs also as close. The home was more spacious than I had anticipated. Both the bedrooms and linens were comfortable . The kitchen seemed well stocked to accommodate food preparation easily. Since we were out and about a lot as we had family staying close by in the plantation estate & this place was literally a 5min walk. We only used the kitchen for a few breakfasts and making coffee & tea. The one shared bath was also spacious . We met the brother and his family who lived upstairs. Nice folks . Loved Hulk the super cute bull dog who hangs out all day. We loved coming home and seeing him. Great parking and such convenience having 7-11 & gas station nearby.   Comments: We chose this rental based on the great reviews, so we were surprised when we walked in to find some droppings on the floor and lots of flies in the living room/kitchen area, one of the bedrooms, and the bathroom. I understand this side of the island is more prone to bugs, but this was excessive. We would've raised this to Nancy, but our stay was short (we arrived Friday late afternoon, attended a wedding Saturday, and left before dawn Sunday). The shower curtain liner was also quite moldy - more than you would expect. The positives. Nancy responded to messages quickly, and set up a pack n play for our baby. The kitchen pantry was nicely stocked so if you forgot something basic it was likely in the cupboard. The AC in the main living area was nice to have, and the ceiling fans kept things sufficiently cool in the bedrooms.

  Comments: If you have activities on this side of the island, it's perfect. Clean, spacious, A/C if you need it. The laundry is super convenient. The house is stocked with stuff we didn't get a chance to use like snorkeling, kayak. The kitchen is well equipped. The neighbor has a bulldog who for the most part doesn't bother you except if you try to go to the neighbors door. The beach's waves are quite strong and probably not good for young children, but it's also very close to other beaches that are. Excellent place. I would stay here again.

But with the 7-11 is right next door to the house, we were able to get plentiful cups of Kona coffee anytime of day. Yum. Clean, orderly and helpful. It was everything we wanted.

  Comments: We spent a week with our 2 little girls and had a great time! We chose to stay on Oahu East coast to be closer to the authentic local life and not the Las Vegas atmosphere of Waikiki. That was a smart choice! We spent time on the North Shore spots, Turtle bay (35min drive), at Aloha Shrimp (10min drive), at Kahana bay (3min drive), at the Polynesian Cultural Center (25min drive), at Kailua beach (45min) and Hanauma bay (60min). We cross the street to see the sunrise, and to the nextdoor 7/11 to pick up last minute food. The neighboor are really friendly and gave us tips about what to do around the place! We will be back!

  Comments: Although we never saw Nancy she was always available and the friendliest, most helpful host. The home was clean with many amenities. The air conditioning was nice to have after a couple of hot days spent in Waikiki. The beach park across the street was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed watching the sunrise one morning and several walks during our stay. Brother Ricky was nice and helpful during our stay also. We loved seeing Hulk everyday. He reminded me of my puppies back home and it was nice to have him around. We might have spoiled him a bit, sorry. The location is breathtaking.   Comments: Nancy said welcome to Paradise when we first checked in... that is exactly how we felt about our stay. Rooms, bathroom and kitchen were clean. Beds fits our needs and we slept good each night. The place is nice but we didnt spend much time there... Hawaii ;) But everynight we returned exhausted from relaxing so hard, it was nice to have all our needs and wants met. We will glady come again and would be hard pressed to stay anywhere else.   Comments: Nancy is by far the most kindest and thoughtful host there is! She was SO quick to respond back. My family and I were having an absolute terrible first time experience with AirBnB an our original stay. We needed something quick and last minute due to having to leave our previous Airbnb immediately. Nancy responded back quickly with no hesitation! She knew we had two small children and she wanted to make sure we were comfortable and well cared for. Her home was very spacious. I love that there are two bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and she provided clean sheets and blankets. She has some extra in store just Incase. Her home is literally across the street from a very nice, secluded beach with a cute, little entrance. There is also a park across the stress before the beach which is perfect if you have children. Her home is far from the touristy areas which we loved. We got a feel of the island life. So peaceful, quiet with amazing views. The neighbors are quite and kind. Nancy also provides LOTS of sand toys, beach toys, snorkel gear and boogie boards. Which makes your experience that much better! I can’t express enough how thankful we are to come across her. She is just so kind. You cannot go wrong with booking her place! My family and I will absolutely 100% book her if and when we ever go back to Oahu!   Comments: Our family spent 2 nights at this apartment. It definitely met all of our needs, and Nancy was a great host. She was very prompt in answering any questions we had. The location was great--right across from a quiet beach that we had all to ourselves. There was a bus stop right out front and it is easy to get anywhere you want to on the island with the bus system. This is a great rental if you want to get away from the touristy areas and live like a local.

  Comments: This is a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing, or to prepare for another day in paradise. While it's out of the way, this ground-floor apartment-like dwelling is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle, bustle, and crowds. Our family of four (2 parents and two adult children) had plenty of room for together time and alone-time. And the beach right across the street was a perfect way to relax at night (Hint: while the ocean is right there, you'll need to walk all the way to the left of the park to find the beach access point.) We enjoyed a magnificent 11-night stay without ever feeling crowded or cramped. And the laundry room was a God-send!! So glad we had the chance to live the true Hawaii lifestyle.

  Comments: We had a great time for the 6 days we stayed. We went to Hawaii for the spartan races at the ranch. Unfortunately they were cancelled, but with so much to do with in the area we still filled our time no problem. The neighbors are great, never had a problem with them. We used the snorkeling gear at the beach across the road. But with the “hurricane” that passed. The water was pretty murky, but still fun. Nancy was great to deal with. Answered any questions I had. Just a great time. I mean, how can you have a bad time in Hawaii.

  Comments: I traveled with my husband and another couple and this space was perfect for us. The park and beach is directly across the street, we never missed a sunrise! The house is well set up. The kitchen had everything we needed, the bathroom had plenty of towels and the laundry is easily accessible and so convenient! We appreciated the location, we did a lot of exploring of the north shore and the south, the house is perfectly located between it all. Nancy is an excellent host, quick to respond and very organized, her brother lives upstairs and he is the most hospitable person you will ever meet. I would recommend this home to everyone. We absolutely will use this AirBnb if we ever come back!

  Comments: This place is perfect for an off-city vacation on Oahu. There’s a bus stop just in front and a parking place if you have a car. It’s located just across from the ocean - a perfect spot for watching the sunrise with a morning coffee. A short drive away are a lot of the beautiful sites on Oahu. The flat is fully equipped, very comfortable for 4 people and there’s a 7-11 just next door. Nancy has been very responsive and the booking / check-in / check out process was a breeze. Bring your beach equipment - towels, snorkeling gear, etc... and bug spray !

This house was clean, well organized, beautifully decorated with nice both Hawaiian and Asian taste arts, enough space for parking. Here is also located next to water, to gas station, to convince store, to restaurant and easy access to visit northern part of O’ahu. The place is kept in a nice, clean condition and it is in a beautiful location with the beach right across the street and beautiful mountains out the back. The hospitality was great, and Nancy even left some nice gifts on the table!
