  Comments: Matthew’s apartment is located in one of the most beautiful blocks in New York, those ones that still has the filling of what makes NYC, the city. The apartment is super comfortable, ultra clean, and just a few minutes from lots of the subway lines. Matthew was super friendly and ready to help and the arrival was perfect!   Comments: Matthew was an excellent host. He was always very prompt replying to our messages, and even came to meet us at the local station so that we didn't get lost when trying to find his place. He told us all the best places to go, and we felt very welcome in his home. The flat was pretty basic and perhaps a little dated (but cute!) and had everything you needed - very comfortable bed, tv with American Netflix, powerful shower. The best thing about it was the area - we had initially tried to stay in the Hell's Kitchen/ Times Square area however now are SO glad we stayed in his area as it was so nice an peaceful - really easy access to all main sights and has the BEST bars and restaurants just walking distance with such a varied selection! (You have to go to Marie's!) Overall Matthew was great, the area was fab (couldn't think of anywhere we'd rather have stayed) and the whole trip was so much fun! Thanks so much guys

  Comments: We had an absolutely amazing time staying here. We don't know the area very well so we asked a lot of questions and Matt was very very quick to respond with some very well thought out suggestions and recommendations. The location for us was perfect as we wanted to be kinda centralized between times Square and downtown and it was exactly that. Highly highly recommend staying here on your next trip to NYC. It's a very cute apartment and very comfortable. Truly enjoyed our stay and will look for this first the next time we go to NYC. Thank you so much Matt!!!

  Comments: Our first trip to New York was perfect for one of the following reasons: a stay in West Village. If you want a real taste of NY your search ends right here! We had a very comfortable stay with all the facilitities. We experienced New York not like any other tourist. It is a dream to walk through the streets of West Village and discover New York from there. Many important sights are nearby or easy to reach with the subway. Our host Matthew was so sweet and took good care of us. He made sure we didnt miss out on any experience and provided us a warm home and great tips. So make sure you check out the recommendations he provides.

  Comments: We had a great week in NYC staying in Matthew's apartment! It's a lovely small place located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city we have seen. The location of the apartment is perfect - easy to reach via subway and close to many sights. At night time it was surprisingly quiet within the street and we were always able to get a good rest in order to keep exploring the next day. The apartment was perfectly clean and comfortable and provided everything we need. Also, we would like to emphasize Matthew's qualities as a host as he was super dedicated showing us around the block and introducing us to his favorite shops, restaurants and areas in the neighborhood. He has always been friendly and happy to help, responses were quick and easy. We would be very happy to come back soon!

We enjoyed the location, the space, the time the host took to be sure we were acclimated to the space/city and overall this was a lovely location and a wonderful time. There is so much to do/see nearby and coming back to the peace and quiet of West Village after being in the hustle of Times Square, etc. was a delight as well.   Comments: Located in great Neighborhood. You will find everything you need cafes, restaurants, pubs, deli. Metro is just few minutes from the apartment. It's small but, It's cosy. You've got here all you need to live for few days in NY. Matthew is great host and will give you answers for all your questions.

  Comments: The BEST Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect! Easy access to the subway giving us plenty of options to get around. Lots of cute shops and restaurants available. Matthew and Collin were both very accommodating and answered any questions we had. Everything was so clean it felt like a cool vintage New York apartment.   Comments: Matthew apartment was exactly as presented (description and photos). The place is absolutely amazing, so quiet while being in one of the very best places in Manhattan for restaurants, bars, taverns and clubs. It is also very close to metro stations and perfectly linked to all metro lines. The apartment is really good, sunny, cost and pleasant. Bed and furniture are confortable and in excellent condition. We were very welcomed upon arrival and had regular excellent contact during our stay. We will definitely come back here for our next stay in NYC.

  Comments: El alojamiento tiene una gran ubicación, está situado en una calle muy tranquila, es pequeño pero muy cómodo, las fotos le hacen justicia de lo que es, Matt fue muy atento para recibirnos y enseñarnos el apartamento. Si regresaría y lo recomendaría. Lo único que vale la pena mencionar es que está en un tercer piso y no hay elevador. También hay que mencionar que está cerca de varias paradas del metro y a 2 cuadras de muchos restaurantes locales.

  Comments: This flat was an incredible find! We were met at the subway station and guided to what might be the nicest street in Manhattan! All classic New York town houses, round the corner from an amazing restaurant area/ the high line/ a very convenient subway stop that made exploring the city quick and easy. The flat was really characterful, clean and had all the amenities we needed! Thanks to Colin and Matthew for their flat and all the tips about the local area!

  Comments: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Can not say enough about how wonderful this area is.. it’s SO charming, tons of restaurants (for all eating/dietary needs), 5-10 minute walk to Subway Stations, safe to walk @ night, & perfect change from the crazy hustle & bustle of the busy city streets, all while still being very close & having plenty of things to do! Although, it was a quieter area of the city, there are some pigeons that live in the area next to the bathroom & bedroom windows that kept us up multiple nights (even with windows shut)...just nature, but something to be aware of. Matt & Collin were very welcoming when we arrived and always very quick to respond to all messages & questions we had prior to our trip. The place is small, but perfect for a couple. The kitchenette has a stove, but realistically the area is perfect just for use of the small refrigerator/freezer, sink, cups/bowls/plates, & silverware. The bedroom has a Full size bed which was very comfortable & high quality mattress, but we do recommend bringing your own pillows. The apartment is old (which is part of the charm) however, that can come with its downfalls. The carpet in the bedroom has seen better days, and the shower head was very awkwardly placed (making showers difficult), but a major bonus was the water pressure & hot water! We highly recommend this place.. The price was great for this location/ apartment (especially compared to hotels & competing AirBNB’s), and we’d definitely stay here again! Hope this was helpful and enjoy your visit to West Village in NYC!!

  Comments: The apartment exceeded our expectations. The location couldn´t be better, the space itself is very cosy and nice to hang out in. Also, we really enjoyed the trifecta of heating, warm water with great water pressure and good natural light. The area is very safe and surprisingly quiet at night, within walking distance of a couple of museums and subway lines that will take you all over NYC. But for sure what made our stay was the amazing hospitality of the host, Matt. He was there to welcome us and show us around the apartment, the communication was a dream. Take him up on the walk around the block, he will show you a couple of hidden gems. If we´re ever again in NYC, we are hoping to stay there again!

  Comments: Matthew and Collin were such great hosts- they met me very late at night after I arrived and lugged my enormous suitcase up 2 flights of stairs. Also their communication was always prompt and very helpful. The apartment has everything you need, good light and a comfy couch- not a full kitchen but enough to have breakfast before setting off for the day. Great bathtub and really good heat- I was there when it was 10 degrees. The block is magnificent with so many wonderful shops and restaurants everywhere. Great stay at a great price!

  Comments: The location is perfect to explore mid/downtown of NY. Walking distance to Chelsea market and Union square. After exloring the city, you can chill out at nice restaurants and bars in bleecker street near the house (even 2 of famous jazz bars!!!). Matthew's house is decorated with very sensitive touches and he is always responsive to our requests. We'd like to stay again when visiting NY.

And the neighborhood is lovely (with a great brunch spot right on the corner!) Matthew was one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. He gave us a ton of recommendations and it was clear to us that he really cared that we had a great time during our stay. We would definitely recommend and would stay again!
