Comments: I really enjoyed my stay in Honolulu at this location. It was about a 10 minute walk or less from Waikiki beach, and the view from the studio was AMAZING. In the lobby there was a pub, a nightclub and a spot to eat. Within half a block was a place to rent bikes, or mopeds. I was really happy w/ my stay and Jason let me know if there was anything I needed to give him a call. I locked myself out of the condo one morning by accident and Jason was there promptly to let me in. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: Jason's location was everything we needed and were pleasantly surprised upon arrival. Jason escorted us to security to check in & leave our info. Room was a bit better than the pictures & there was a partial view of the ocean which was nice. Kitchenette came in handy as we were able save some money! #Yay My husband and ran into Jason in the lobby during our stay & had let him know the room was bright; Jason bought curtains just to ensure we were the most comfortable. So thoughtful! The building is a bit up from the "super tourist" strip of Waikiki, but we were able to find the bus routes thanks to the concierge & rented a moped.

Comments: Our host, Jason, was so thoughtful! He helped us with our luggage and was very polite. Our room was just as promised...very clean and had all amenities needed (we even had complimentary water and chocolates.) The best part of our stay was the proximity to everything! Jason gave us good recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast place in the hotel was really nice. Jason also helped us with parking, and was able to get us a great rate (parking can be very expensive in Hawaii). We did not see our host for the rest of our stay, but he was always just a phone call away.

Comments: The suite was clean and Jason was very helpful and quick to respond to questions on airbnb. In addition to the complimentary bottled water and chocolate bars, there was wifi, TV, extra clean linens, private full bathroom, and a tiny but fully equipped kitchenette (except no sink) with fridge. Access to an outdoor hotel pool and coin laundry was also included. When we had queries re: the wifi and TV, Jason responded on airbnb within 5 minutes, came to our suite upon request, and helped us resolve the issues within an hour. Jason also offered a parking pass at an extra but low price, which was extremely helpful, since overnight parking is normally extremely expensive in the area. Also, we found that the snug suite was ok for the 3 of us (3 adults), even though there was only 1 room with 1 small but full bathroom (studio style). The suite size would fit 2 guests most comfortably. We thought the hotel hallways were poorly ventilated (had an odor at times), but Jason's suite was better ventilated (with the bathroom fan and the air conditioner), so we didn't notice any odor in the suite. We ended up renting a car and mostly visited places outside of waikiki, but the suite is walking distance (around 20 minutes) from the beach and from the ala moana mall. We also rented a car at the hotel, but there are also car and moped/motorbike rental shops by the hotel lobby. The smart car rental place is only around $60 per day. If you prefer, Hertz and Dollar-Rent-a-car are just 5 minute walk away from the hotel lobby. There is also a breakfast/brunch restaurant by the lobby and a pub in the basement.

Comments: I meet Jason on the day I arrived even if it was close to midnight my plane came in. He showed me the room and we talked about how things worked. Then During my almost 2 week stay he contacted me a couple of times to make sure all was good. Thoughtful and service minded. I really liked the room and it was a comfortable bed. This Room had all I need and the location was great. I can see my self stay here the next time I come.

Comments: WE RECOMMEND JASON AS YOUR HOST! : ) This is our 4th accommodation with Airbnb and what we look for a is a Host that can deliver a STRESS FREE and GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE experience. My daughter and I recommend Jason as your Host. Very trustful, helpful and accommodating. Jason gave us assurance when replying promptly to our emails. Went out of his way to set up the sofa as our second bed with extra padding and sheets. We were 10-15 mins early to the hotel and Jason was already waiting in the main foyer. He showed us up to our accommodation and we were happy to walk into an air conditioned, lovely decor, very clean, tidy room. It was better than we expected! Great views! Comfortable queen size bed and sofa bed too!! You'll find this accommodation very relaxing, especially after all that shopping, swimming and sight-seeing!! ENJOY YOUR STAY HERE!! p.s. thanks Jason for the bottle of waters and macadamia nuts. ;O)

Comments: The stay was amazing! I'd totally recommend here. I was travelling with my mom, and she is a bit picky when it comes to cleanliness, she gets allergic easily, and she was saying "it is really great here, very clean!" for several times. It looked just like how the photos showed, the view was awesome, the bed was really comfy, there was plenty storage, and pretty spacious to stay in. We loved that there's an extra set of towels because we were staying for 12 nights total, which was really fresh we could just use another clean set. The location was a total 5 star, it was close to anywhere, to take trolley or buses. Although it wasn't on the beach, but it took only 10-15 minutes to walk to one, (I love walking down the street like that!) and comparing to the beach areas hotel, the price is really really affordable. The small kitchenette came really useful even thought there wasn't a sink by it, we just used the sink in the bathroom. Jason the host was super nice, he provided everything we needed and asked for in a very short notice, always responded quickly. He welcomed us with macadamia nut and water bottles, and it was so nice he treated us with some local macadamia chocolate when bringing us some extra toilet paper. We accidentally broke one mug before leaving, we were trying to buy a substitution, but he said it was ok, he will get one, which was super generous and kind since we were in a rush to go to the airport.

Comments: Jason is really kind and friendly from the beginning to the end of the jounery. The location is near the Waikiki beach but not noisy at night, and I can easily rent the cars or take the bus there. The studio is clean and included almost everything you need. I really enjoyed the vacation there.

Comments: Absolutely loved our time in Waikiki, we stayed at Jason's studio apartment for 6 nights. Jason was very helpful with details and information about the place, which was great as it was our first time to Hawaii. The apartment was exactly as we expected, great size and comfy bed. Large TV was great and wardrobes were very handy. Had a bit of trouble with the key cards opening the door but eventually worked out. We would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a place to stay in Waikiki, the location is great and Jason was a very good host!

Comments: We stayed at Jason's for three days to explore some of Waikiki and Oahu. The place was great, only a short walk into the centre of Waikiki or the main shopping area Ala Moana (15 min walk). The Internet was fast and reliable and the small kitchen useful to make porridge each morning. The air conditioning was loud but effective and sometimes necessary! Jason was a very friendly and helpful host, and everything we needed was in the apartment.

Comments: Our flight arrived earlier and even though the check in time is 3PM, Jason had the room ready before then and was able to meet with us earlier. Location was great close to a lot of the places we wished to visit and within walking distance to some great restaurants. The room itself was very clean and more than big enough to accommodate two people (or more if need be), the room was very comfortable and there's also the convenience of being able to cook for oneself as there were appliances (toaster, microwave, etc) readily available. There is parking available close by as well for a pretty reasonable price. I will definitely recommend this accommodation to a friend.

Comments: Jason was a lovely host (even though we only saw him briefly) the room was adequate for our needs. I would strongly recommend this location as it is situated essentially halfway between waikiki and alomoana shopping centre which were the two main "hubs" of honolulu. Thank you!

Comments: There were many things we liked about staying at Jason's studio. The location was central, within walking distances to Waikiki beach and Ala Moana Mall. The beautiful window view of the skyline at night was a nice surprise treat. The WiFi internet was very fast - in fact the fastest of all the four places we stayed at in Hawaii (~30 Mbps). Even though we didn't get to meet him in person, Jason was also very responsive to our inquiries and needs. For instance, we misread the check-out time and had to ask him for a late check-out time on short notice, but he was so kind to grant our request. Lastly, the building is a bit old but the studio itself is new - it seems to have been renovated recently.

Comments: Fell in love with this cute apartment - perfect size for a couple. The place is spotless and all amenities provided, with exceptional view on par with the photo on Airbnb (I was skeptical, how can the view be THAT gorgeous? IT IS.) Great location just a couple blocks from the 'it' shops and restaurants in Waikiki, and also the largest outdoor mall Ala Moana. You must also try the two delicious Japanese restaurants downstairs ('Burger and Sushi' and 'Choco'). Jason was fantastic, set our room up for us before check in time upon our late request, answered all queries promptly. Recommend!

Comments: Jason is a fantastic host, he is friendly and easy-going. This place is perfect in Waikiki walking distance to everything. It’s a short 10-15 mins. walk to the main shopping street, ABC store, restaurants, famous ramen, etc. We also love swimming pool and the BBQ place up at 5th floor. The room is very clean and I love the view and coziness of the room. The room comes with everything we need and Jason even got us more things when it ran out. There are parking spaces right across from the condo, which you can rent from Jason for a great price. Jason's a wonderful host. He went above and beyond to help us with our questions and needs. We would definitely come back and stay with Jason for our next visit!

Comments: Jason was a great host, he met us at the apartment when we arrived and during our stay he responded to messages quickly, helping out wherever possible. This place was true to the photos and perfect for our needs. It's a studio so not huge in size but totally fine for a couple. Most importantly it was clean, had a comfortable bed and was in a good location. (I sometimes get a stiff back from different beds but slept well here - no pain) Not too close to shops so it felt a bit more relaxed but close enough to walk into the main areas. We hired a car and Jason organised discount parking for us, right across the road from the apartment block. The view was a nice surprise. Jason supplied us with plenty of clean towels, including beach towels. The apartment had a beach umbrella & hair dryer which was handy, as was the fridge and kitchenette. The air con did a good job of keeping the place nice & cool on those hot, humid days. Also provided was a clock radio with iPhone 5 connection so we could play our music when we were home which was an added bonus. I accidentally left a dress behind in the room and Jason kindly delivered it to the hotel that my family were staying at so that they could bring it home for me. Thanks again Jason!! You're a legend. :) We had a fantastic time & would definitely stay here again.

Comments: Seeing this was my wife's and I first AirBnB experience we were a little hesitant. Upon our booking with Jason, I had a lot of questions regarding Oahu and our place where we would be staying. He responded promptly to every question asked. Our stay was fabulous and the place was just as described. The room was very clean and organized. We had no issues with check in/check out. Very simple and straight forward. He promised us a parking spot and a parking spot we received. He was an excellent host and look forward to staying in one of his his places in the near future. Thanks Jason for Everything!! Comments: Jason responded to any communications very quickly. The apartment is part of the Hawaiian Monarch Hotel Complex. Although the hotel is quite basic the apartment itself is lovely and modern looking. You have access to the hotel's pool and hot tub. The location is good, among the main Waikiki hotels and is only a 10/15 minute walk to the beach, main restaurants, shops and bars. We loved having solid free wifi in the apartment and a nice big TV. Air con is great and the iPhone/iPad docking station was a nice touch. Bed is super comfy.

Comments: Jason was not able to meet us to check in because of our late check-in time, but provided easy instructions for self check-in. The apartment was easy to find and close to many of the tourist attractions in Waikiki. Jason was very responsive to all emails and texts. The room itself, however, was a bit of a disappointment. The room is located in an older hotel complex that very much has the feel of an old hospital-- think lots of cement and cinder block. While renovated, the improvements seemed sparse and a bit of a letdown from the pictures. The kitchen is basically unusable for anything other than storing snacks in the refrigerator, and the tub was clogged for showers. All in all, I felt that it didn't justify the cost of the unit, which included a hefty cleaning fee.

Comments: Jason was very welcoming and included all the details I needed to know to get my keys and to the room. He was very quick to respond to any questions that I had. The room appeared just as pictured/described and was about a 10 minute walk from waikiki beach and about the same distance from the hawaii convention center.

Comments: Listing was accurate. The studio was small but clean, and cozy enough for my small family (wife, kid, and me). There are towels (including extra beach towels), kitchen supplies, nice big refrigerator with freezer, flatscreen, and couch. Air conditioning was awesome, considering the heat and humidity during our stay. The location is good. We were close to everything (restaurants, ocean, shopping). We went swimming every day either in the pool or the ocean. Jason was very responsive and provided good restaurant recommendations.

Comments: I definitely enjoyed my two weeks staying in Jason's condo. It's exactly as pictured, the view is absolutely fantastic, it's well equipped and Jason is a friendly and very welcoming host. Personally thought it was a great location - away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki beach but close enough to enjoy the surroundings. Surprisingly spacious too. Some not so great aspects: If staying longer than a week, you have to register with security and have photos taken, which we weren't informed about. The swipe cards kept failing on us which was super inconvenient and lastly, the rooms walls are paper thin, you can literally hear the TV from next door. All very minor problems which were really only noticed because of our longer stay. Overall, a good experience and would highly recommend Jason.

Comments: I had a perfect experience at Jason's studio. Really great host, he meet me when I arrived and showed me around. He was very nice and helpful. I told him I needed an iron and ironing board and sure enough he went and bought them for me. Pretty sweet treatment there. The studio is perfect, just as described: Clean, comfortable, and quite, contrary to what you would expect in such a busy building. The location was very convenient too, walking distance to waikiki beaches and hotels and restaurants, and easy access to anywhere else in the island. I will stay again if I'll ever be back.

Comments: The cozy apartment was in the perfect location - easy walking distance to Waikiki beaches and shopping, but a little of the main drag, so much quieter at night. Jason was very helpful with late arrival directions, and except for a little snafu with the parking, everything worked out well. Having beach towels available and an already chilled bootle of water in the frig upon arrival were nice bonuses.

Comments: Jason is hands down the best airbnb host I've had. I started planning our Hawaii trip months in advance and Jason answered every single question I had. Jason was always available and extremely helpful. He truly went out of his way for me - assisting with the parking situation, providing laundry detergent, turning on the AC before our arrival, allowing us to check-in early, I could go on and on. The location was great for me, you're within walking distance of the main area of Waikiki but not constantly surrounded by tourists. It's the perfect basecamp, easy to get around. Public transportation was pretty reliable, although we did rent a car for most of our stay. The condo is minimal but has all the amenities you need - even had beach towels. Would definitely book with Jason again! Mahalo!

Comments: We never met Jason, but he was good in communicating with us of where to pick up the key cards and what to do if we need other things. The studio itself is pretty much like the pictures posted by Jason and it was clean and neat. The bed wasn't too bad, but the mattress did sink in the middle. The studio had everything you need. When showering, the water pressure was so-so, but I don't think the host can do anything about it. After showers we noticed it took awhile for the water to drain. The area of the hotel is 10 mins walking distance from the beach and main drag as described by Jason. Very close to the 7/11 and ABC store. Great for couples and satisfactory for a family of three. We went with a baby and made it work.

This was our first-time experience with airbnb, and we are happy about this experience.

Comments: Studio is as pictured. Communication with Jason was great. There were some issues out of his control, and he did everything he could in his power to solve them. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke: the airvent in the bathroom brings in smoke from other people in the building smoking.

Comments: Jason was super responsive and answered all of our questions and made check in very easy. The studio was very comfortable for a small space and we were pleasantly surprised with the small kitchen. The location can't be beat and we spent the week walking around Waikiki and it was very close to bus lines that we took downtown and into the Manoa valley.

Comments: Jason's apartment was a short walk to everything we needed in Waikiki. The decor seemed a little worn/dated (more than in the photos) and the bed sunk a bit in the middle, but overall it was a pleasant experience. Ps. You can smell cigarette smoke in bathroom air vents.

Comments: Studio was clean, neat. Jason answered questions and was available through email and texts. The only one issue I had was when I texted Jason a few hrs after we left Hawaii asking him if he had seen a pair of earrings left on the bathroom counter. He never responded . Oh well. Other than that, decent place. No issues.

Comments: Jason was great a communicating, we got in at 6am in the morning and he kindly let us check in straight away so we could get some sleep before exploring! The place itself looks as depicted, the hotel it is situated in is quite old but everything worked well, the pool was also good to have access to. It was a bit further out of the main town than expected but close enough to get a 5min cab to anywhere urgent. The AC works amazingly so if you like to come home to a cold room after a long day in the sun it's a great stay.

Comments: Jason's place was a perfect jumping-off point for a fantastic Oahu vacation. The Monarch Hotel is easily walkable (10-15 minutes, leisurely) to Waikiki Beach and even closer to some of the best bars, restaurants, and sights. There are also a variety of convenient businesses (convenience store, small restaurants, car rentals) directly below the apartment. We really enjoyed eating at Cream Pot! The room itself was great for three people (2 on the bed, 1 on a converted futon bed). The air conditioning is ice cold (great for escaping the heat) and all the amenities worked great. The location is secure (need a key card to ascend the elevator) and comes with a great view of the Ala Wai road. Jason was superbly helpful and incredibly communicative of all responsibilities. He also had a variety of great recommendations for leisure and food. One of the best hosts I've had the pleasure of working with on AirBnb! Overall, if you're looking for a cost-effective and cozy way to do Waikiki and explore the island, Jason's place is your best bet.

Comments: Jason was super easy to communicate with and the condo was very close to the convention center for our conference. The unit had all of the amenities we needed.

Comments: Schoon en simpel appartement. We hebben Jason niet gezien tijdens ons verblijf maar in- en uitchecken ging zonder grote problemen. Dichtbij het congrescentrum.

Comments: The studio was clean and fresh. Liked the lighting of the room and AC. Bed was comfy with clean blankets and also extra clean pillow cases and blankets in closest drawer. The sofa was a nice little amenity of the room for TV watching while eating. Had very quiet sleeps and enough room for 2 people to stay.

Comments: Check-in and Checkout was quick and easy. This room was very spacious. We rented this room for our friends during our stay together we had in the same Condo. There's a parking garage we paid for $25 per day. Affordable and located walking distance to many shops as restaurants. So when we return we will definitely rent from Jason again. The room had all the amenities such as cookware, detergent, iron board & iron, umbrella, beach towels, beach tent, toiletries, etc. Mahalo Jason for the wonderful stay.

Comments: Jason was great, the room is pretty small but worked for me and my friends. The building is quite old and the hallways were not the most clean. Proximity to the beach, Honolulu, and other attractions was awesome.

Comments: Cute little studio that is about 15-20 minutes walk to the beach/Waikiki center if you're a slow walker like me. Had no troubles checking in or out. Only thing is parking is $25 a night onsite or $12 off site one block away. Overall, nice visit.

Comments: This studio is a nice place to lay your head if you don't plan on spending much time in your place. There was no kitchen sink so those items would be washed in the bathtub sink. Jason communicated in a timely manner and was a nice host. All in all was a decent stay for the cost.

Comments: A really great place in a really great location. Within walking distance of shopping, beaches, restaurants and bus stops! Jason is a really helpful host who responds very fast with any questions or queries. The walls are a bit thin and noise can be heard through them, and the shower pressure isn’t the greatest. But other than that, it’s a place well worth the value.

Comments: The location was very good. Close to Waikiki and shopping malls. Could use bus to go around. It was really relaxing, enough space for three people. The baths kit wasn't enough so had to but them ourselves. But other than that, We had a great time.

Comments: Overall ok stay. We were here for a wedding and not in the room much. They whole building in general needs a major renovation. Nasty smell in the lobby. I would suggest redoing the bathroom. Additionally, more linens and towels. Also, the pub downstairs is dirty and they don’t clean their glasses well. Coffee shop was real Good

Comments: What a view! Jason's place was super modern and clean. Very spacious given that it is a studio. Elevators in the main lobby can be a bit slow at times. Waikiki Beach is just a short walk away (about 10 mins). The bakery and brunch place in the building were fabulous. Hosts gave great tips and replied very quickly to emails.

Comments: The location of this apt was great and near convention center and an easy walk to main tourist areas. I stayed with two other friends and although it felt cramped at times, it worked for us considering the reasonable price. Bathroom was clean. My main issue was that extra bedsheets for the sofa bed were not available, hand soap was nearly empty and wifi directions/password were not given. I had to contact host multiple times throughout my stay and several attempts were needed to be made to fix wifi. Someone had to drop off extra bedsheets and soap during our stay. I also had to contact the host myself regarding check-out directions. I felt that the apartment was not well prepared - many of the issues needed to be taken care of and organized prior to having a guest stay.

Comments: This accommodation was just great for two people and ideally situated for exploring the Waikiki area and the many good eating places near by. The double bed was comfortable and the amenities were clean and in a good serviceable condition. The host was a great help in providing us with information on car parking close to the apartment and very attentive to our other requests.

Comments: The communication was good, Raenette responded in general quickly. I hated the bed, it was far too soft and uncomfortable. It actually doesn‘t look like on the photos. It is an old building and it smells muddy. We were there for one month and there was no equipment for cleaning the studio. We had to buy cleaning supplies. In addition, the keys, which are cards in fact, didn‘t work well. We had to contact the security 4 times because they got blocked, it was very exhausting to have those problems if you paid so much money.
