Michy and Paul were very nice and accommodating people who went out of their way to ensure we were ok with everything. The location is in a quiet and very pretty surrounding which in future when we have more time we would like to explore more. Overall a very pleasant experience which we would recommend to anyone and everyone.

  Comments: Michy's place was so PERFECT! We loved it. Perfect remote location only around and hour from Sydney, the perfect weekend escape. The cabin was beautifully furnished and very up to date. Super clean and with all the basics provided even though there isn't a full cook top facility the local pizza delivery was delicious! The walk across the road and down to the jetty is so beautiful for an evening sundowner and really is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. Thanks again for your welcoming vibe and beautifully equip cabin Michy, we'll definitely be back!

  Comments: We absolutely loved our stay at Michy's lovely cabin on Pittwater. It is even more beautiful in real life than the photos show. Michy went out of her way to accommodate us and make us feel at home, and was also very respectful of our privacy. The cabin is a delight, and full of lovely touches that made us completely spoiled. It's literally right on the water too. It rained the whole time we were there but we were so cosy in our beautiful cabin and enjoying cups of tea on the verandah that we didn't care at all. The Yoda Food restaurant in Avalon just 5 mins away is delicious too! Thank you Michy for a wonderful and much needed rest in your delightful cabin xx

  Comments: Michy's cabin is very new, clean and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay (TV, wifi, general cooking equipment, books). The cabin is located in the gorgeous suburb of Clareville, right by the sparkling water and amongst the trees - one of the most beautiful places in Sydney. It's the perfect place to stay if you love the outdoors - you could walk 800m to Clareville beach or take a short drive to many other beaches, explore the coast on a kayak or paddle board, hike up Bangalley head for a striking view, just to name a few ideas. Michy was very kind and always available if we needed anything, but otherwise respected our privacy. We had a lovely stay and would recommend to everyone.

The Pittwater area is just stunning and we enjoyed exploring the surrounds, eating out and checking out the boating scene. We had a fabulous weekend and can definitely recommend staying here.

  Comments: We loved staying at Michy's place in Clareville. It's a lovely self-contained cabin which is very well appointed. Originally booked this place as close by to a party we were attending, however given I was sick ended up staying in ordering take-away and enjoying the space instead. Loved having a cup of tea in the sunshine on the verandah in the morning. Would definitely recommend Michy's place to anyone wanting to explore the northern beaches of Sydney. Tucked away in one of the most beautiful suburbs of Sydney (one I had never visited, despite being a Sydney-sider) with lots to explore nearby.

  Comments: Michy - very prompt and efficient in her replies. From the time I enquired till the end of my trip which makes things a lot easier as I didn't know what time exactly I'll reach her accommodation. She was informative and told us where to get food. The Thai food up from her place was good! She also allowed me to do a late check out cause I needed to come back to bathe after. Accommodation - was LOVELY. The photos doesn't do it justice at all! Place was super cosy, comfortable and new! I love the electric blankets and the heater. The kitchen and toilet was good too!! Would definitely live here should I be around the area again. Cheers!

  Comments: We loved staying here! I never met Michy, but my husband said she was just the sweetest woman ever! She brought us greek yogurt and granola for breakfast which was very sweet. It is across the street from the bay and we even took out their surf skis briefly. We loved being so close to Avalon Beach! Great restaurants and beach nearby.

A great little spot with it's own access and just accross from the beautiful Pittwater. Avalon cafes and restaurants had us covered all weekend and the weather really turned on for us while we were there. Can't recommend it highly enough, definitely no compaints.

  Comments: We had a really lovely stay at this bungalow in Clareville. It's generous, light and well-ventilated, with many highly appreciated details, including a delicious breakfast, kitchenette at our disposal and kookaburra visitors. Michy is a warm and generous host. We stayed for a long weekend, most of which was spent at the wedding of friends nearby (or associated events), so we didn't get to take her up on her offer of the use of some watercraft, but did get across the road to the beach a couple of times. The area too is worth a scout - a couple of early morning walks gave us a great survey of the widest variety of housing I've seen in one location, set amidst lush greenness and against spectacular views. We'd love to come back some time. The experience left us feeling very spoilt.

  Comments: The backyard cabin was like a secluded writer's retreat! So peaceful and homely, well stocked mini-kitchen too and a beautiful balinese style bed. There's very close by access to an almost private beach and jetty/swimming area, good place to watch the sunset and sip some BYO champers! Michy was a fabulous host, warm and friendly, and not only did she let us check in early, but also gave us a lift to Jonah's for lunch as it's a little difficult to get a taxi in the area. Highly recommend staying here for a romantic getaway from the city!

It was a private, quiet, exceptionally stylish little retreat for two, a 30 second stroll to an almost private park and beach over looking beautiful Pittwater. The bed was very comfortable and we had a fantastic sleep. We came and went as we pleased and loved our visit to Clareville. We will just have to make sure we come back to try out the kiosk (walking distance to the cabin), which is suppose to be great for lunch and dinner. Thanks Michy!

  Comments: What an absolutely fabulous place to stay. Michy is considerate warm and a genuine lady. From a warm welcome on arrival, milk in the fridge, everything one could desire in the perfect spot to even driving us to our restaurant for dinner she is amazing. The cabin is perfect, it is beautifully decorated. The bed is large, deep and immensely comfortable. It took a real effort to prize my boyfriend away amid grumbles of why he couldn't squat there.....the cabin is reached by the stepping stone path around the main house, through the small garden and sits on its own. It is breathtakingly pretty....has a comfy sofa, a full bookcase, a gorgeous mosquito net that makes you feel like you are lost in the orient falling asleep. I cannot tell you how fantastic this little treasure is we will most certainly be returning.

Location was perfect, just across the road for some lovely quiet beaches on Pittwaters, the interior design of the cabin was spotless and classy and we had all we need to spend a very comfortable week in paradise. The place was just as described- I would add that there's lovely light and air flow she has put mosquito nets over the windows so you can rest easy (if you get bitten alive like me) that you will have a mosquito free environment! We were so relaxed and rejuvenated after our stay (we live in Sydney and are a short drive away). Love the location and I'd recommend going to Clareville Kiosk- walking distance and beautiful restaurant- for dinner nearby.

  Comments: Michy is a 10 out of 10 host in all facets of the local area and making you feel at home, we were greeted by a very cheerful lady that made us feel like we were her friends. The property is exactly as described and very comfortable. A short walk across the road to a wonderful beach location. So if you are into picnic's as we are, this is the place to go. As we had not ventured to the Northern Beaches before, we were so very nicely surprised how beautiful the area is. Every restaurant we dined, the staff and food were excellent. A must to go is the boat house restaurant at Palm Beach WOW views right on the river. We will definitely be going back. Therese and Mark

  Comments: My partner and I stayed two nights recently and enjoyed our time in the beautiful Northern Beaches. I didn't get to meet Michy personally although my partner did. Communication through messages was always prompt and clear and we arrived late at night with the key left in the door and milk in the fridge for us. The cabin is cosy and had everything we needed. We couldn't get the wifi to connect but it didn't really bother us we were hardly there. I suggest you take your car as the bus only came out the front once an hour. Palm Beach close by is beautiful.

  Comments: This is a lovely little place for a night away. The cabin has everything you could possibly need - a bed, sofa, dining table, tv and shower. All put together in a small but aesthetically pleasing cabin. Really appreciated that fresh milk was provided plus tea and coffee and very tasty muesli. It has very quite location and perfectly situated for launching a kayak ( across the road). Also 10 minutes walk from the Clareville kiosk for that special meal.

  Comments: Michy's place is in a wonderful location, perfectly located for exploring around Pittwater and the coast. It is quiet and extremely comfortable. With lots of windows, the cottage is light and breezy. Everything we needed was there and it is immaculately presented. Michy and Paul were on hand if we ever needed anything, but they also ensured we had privacy. A perfect mix! The beach is just a minute away (across the road) and is a lovely spot to sit. Although we had a car, the local bus stop is just across the road. We could not fault Michy's place and look forward to the next trip.

  Comments: Michy was very welcoming and our accommodation was perfect for visiting family , kicking back and taking in the wonderful environment in and around Clareville. The cabin was spotless , bed was very comfortable with everything we required. We had a hire car but a bus stop was right out front for trips to the city or nearby Avalon and beyond. Area was restful and we felt right at home with privacy but knowing Paul and Michy were a text away if required. We would certainly recommend this cabin to others and would like to visit again soon.

  Comments: This is a really lovely cabin in a beautiful part of the Northern Beaches. The cabin is in Michy and Paul's backyard, entirely separate to the house but Michy and Paul are there should you need anything and they are lovely and friendly. Pittwater is just across the road; fabulous beaches and Avalon village with excellent restaurants and cafes are only a few kms away. The cabin is clean and comfortable for singles or couples. Beautifully decorated. Sitting on the verandah in the afternoon sun listening to the birds...paradise.

  Comments: We had a fabulous 7 nights in Michy and Paul's leafy, garden cabin. A very cosy, clean, comfortable, quiet and private bedsit cabin, with a washing machine available to use at the house. It was across the road from Clareville beach and the bus stop into Avalon shops where we picked up other bus connections. We had no car and found it very easy to use public transport all over Sydney with the Opal card. Michy and Paul were very friendly and helpful, especially with dropping off something we left behind.......thank you.

The location was perfect, just a short stroll along the beach (at low tide) and we arrived to our destination. The cottage was gorgeous and homely and the bed was super comfy. The cottage felt like a private oasis and Michy was helpful, and welcoming. A great first Airbnb experience.

  Comments: This was our first Airbnb experience and I choose it first on the location close to Palm Beach and also the price when scrolling through. The scroll through price was $110 p/n but there were extras of $35 for cleaning and a $22.15 service fee. These may well be standard Airbnb extras but on a one night stay I guess the cleaning fee to cost of stay ratio seemed a bit high. I knew the total fee before finalising the booking but I guess I would have liked the pricing better if it was all inclusive at $165 and not the $110 plus, plus .... one good flip side is when I shared a screenshot of where we were staying and a few commented that it seemed like great value at $110. The place is very nice and neat. We arrived at night and the host had left the garage lights on so we could see along the narrow path to the shack at the back. Later the lights were off and getting another load from the car was tricky although a flashlight was left on the kitchen table for this purpose. We never met the host but that was maybe due to our late arrival ...but I’m also ok with this as I’m a bit shy and I knew we could contact them easily if needed. It’s an awesome spot very close to a nice dock and a little beach as well as a swimming area. Well recommended!

  Comments: Just completed a very enjoyable 3 week stay at Michy's cabin, while visiting family nearby. The cabin is opposite Michy and Paul’s home, but feels private. The property is in a beautiful location right on Pittwater, with good on road parking. The quiet reserve just across the road has lovely views along Pittwater to Lion Island. The cabin itself is compact, stylishly presented, very comfortable and well organised. The decking is a peaceful and shady place to relax during the heat of the day. We found we had everything we needed for an extended stay. Michy was a fab host throughout - always warm & friendly, respectful of privacy but quick to offer help when contacted. We enjoyed meeting her husband Paul and felt honoured when invited to the neighbours pre Christmas get together on the reserve. We had a super time with you Michy, thanks so much! Highly recommend staying here.
