Neighborhood Overview: Known for its stately townhouses and tree-lined streets, Park Slope is a dynamic neighborhood that we love for its people, the varied opportunities for food and fun, and its central location. Our home is at the foot of the "slope," where homes were built for the working classes of the late 1800s, so the homes are less Victoriana and more utilitarian. Today, there are numerous bars, fabulous restaurants of every price range, and Prospect Park is a leisurely 15 minute walk away. In the park there are hiking and running trails, skating (ice and roller), boating, fishing and a weekly green market. Barclay's Center is a 20-30 minute walk away.

Notes: We have a flat-screen TV with cable, HBO, NetFlix and Pandora. As the owners and residents of this two-family building, we are not subject to the recently enacted NY State laws regarding illegal hotels. They apply only to buildings with three or more units. You can be confident that your stay with us is legal and that we pay all required hospitality, sales and income taxes out of your guest fees.

Transit: The F, G and R trains are a half a block from the house. Buses and cabs are plentiful as well. It is a 22 minute subway commute to Greenwich Village. There is street parking on the block, but it is hard to come by. If you plan to drive, please inquire about city parking regulations, etc.

Access: The entrance to the apartment is at the ground-floor level (two steps down). The patio is accessed through the kitchen (up two steps) and has a small cafe table and two chairs (please see house rules regarding use of the patio). We have a smartlock system which allows for self-check in if guests are arriving at a time when we are unable to greet them.

Interaction: This apartment is on the ground floor of the townhouse. We live on the upper two floors of the building. We have our own separate entrance so you may not see us unless you need to. However if you have questions you are welcome to call or ring our doorbell.

House Rules: Check in is at 3pm. Check out is at 11am. If we don't have another reservation coming in we may be able to extend the checkout time. Guests may use a smallish portion (about 7 x 10 feet) of our backyard patio. There is a small cafe table and two chairs. We ask that you use it very quietly between 11pm and 7am as the noise travels and we prefer not to wake the neighbors. Patio is often inaccessible when there is snow on the ground. Smoking is allowed on patio, but never in the apt. We charge a fee of $20 for lost key replacement. Please note that for short-term stays, prices include NYC occupancy taxes of 5.875% + $2/room/night as per NYC law. Guests acknowledge that this is a one-bedroom apartment with one queen-size bed and one sofa that folds out into a full size bed. We also have a small travel crib for those traveling with infants. We ask that you bring your own linens for the crib. Guests will turn off central air conditioning units whenever they are leaving the apart

Comments: Michael was such a kind, honest, and accommodating host. The place was just as advertised and I felt that it was a real good deal for the entire place. The neighborhood was very safe and had everything we needed. I had no complains and would definitely stay again on the next visit.

Comments: I've stayed in a lot of Airbnbs in NYC and it's generally always been a good experience. However, Michael's place tops all of them: it was neat and clean, well designed, comfortable (with great AC), and stocked to the last detail. Michael communicated well the whole time and was always ready to help. He even provided a guide to apartment and surrounding area with everything you'd need to know. The neighborhood is quiet and it's a short walk to the metro or to multiple good restaurants, bars, and groceries. A++

Comments: I had a wonderful stay with Michael and Orlando. When I showed up on a weekend they invited me to their backyard BBQ. How cool is that! They were incredibly kind and gracious hosts. They even had a couple beers waiting for me. The apartment is very nice, HUGE, a deal for the price and ultra convenient to the F, G and R trains and well stocked with all the comforts of home. Is definitely recommend it for anyone, especially if you'll be commuting into the city often.

  • Reviewer: Kathy

Comments: Beautiful apartment! It is clean and modern, with plenty of light and space. It is only half a block from the F/G/R and very close to all the shops and restaurants on 5th avenue. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: We just spent a week in this absolutely perfect apartment! Michael was easy to communicate with and made us feel very at home. The apartment is nicely appointed and very clean. The little patio is a perfect place for morning coffee. Everything you cold possibly need is so close in this neighborhood - market, drug store subway, great restaurants and shops. Michael has a wonderful guide to the neighborhood for his guests, which makes it easy to plan your stay. Comfortable bed, great shower, easy access on the ground floor, quiet...and cute! We can't wait to go back!

Comments: Michael was a wonderful host and the apartment was really lovely. The listing is accurate and is as charming, clean, and private as described (A+). The location is incredible, with a two minute walk to the metro, great restaurants nearby, and convent grocery and pharmacies around.we hope to stay here again during our next visit to the city.

Comments: Without a doubt, we have found our go-to Brooklyn spot for when we come to visit family. The apartment is fantastic and exactly as pictured/described. The location can really not be beat. Literally steps to the subway; on a safe and quiet residential street; lots to walk to in the area- restaurants, shops, playgrounds, parks. We came and went and found free street parking without a problem. Michael was great communicating with us, and was so nice. An organized binder awaits with lots of helpful info/recommendations, along with a thoughtful surprise in the fridge. We will be booking family visits around the availability of this awesome space!! Highly recommend!

Comments: We loved staying at Michael's apartment. The apartment is really lovely, clean, organized, it has everything that you need. I loved Park Slope area, calm and comfortable. The subway is incredibly close to the apartment. We definitely recommend this apartment and Michael was always available. Great experience!

Comments: The apt is very nice, clean and we felt very comfortable there. It is spacious, nicely furnished and air conditioned. Subway station is a 2-3 min walk away (at end of block), we mostly took the F line to get to Manhattan. There are many restaurants (serving great multi ethnic food), grocery stores and a Rite Aid within short walking distance. It was easy to communicate with the host. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment.

  • Reviewer: Paul

Comments: Our experience with Michael and Orlando was superb. The apartment is exactly as delightful as the picture, and it is literally 60 secs from the subway, right near a zipcar lot, and minutes from shops and restaurants. Michael was genuinely hospitable, and we kinda hoped we might be able to move in forever, except that we had to go home... Highly recommended.

  • Reviewer: Viviane

Comments: It was a great experience. The apartment is exactly as we see in the pictures with the additional warming touches of the host. The area is safe and easy location for transfers. I do recommend.

  • Reviewer: Perrin

Comments: This apartment was absolutely perfect! It is so charming, and we felt safe and at home. All the cool places to see, restaurants and bars were moments away from the front door. Having the train on the corner was a blessing! We marveled at the convenience. Our stay was just what we envisioned and so much more. Michael made us feel so welcomed and made himself available if we needed anything at all. Highly recommend!! We want to come back!

Comments: Michael and Orlando are the perfect hosts. They were quick to respond, made checking in and out easy, and provided lovely personalized welcoming touches on our arrival. Their beautiful apartment is in a charming neighborhood, and having the subway on the same block made getting around a breeze. Highly, highly recommended.

Comments: Great stay in Park Slope. Steps from the subway. The apartment was very clean and tidy when we arrived, and Michael was helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. The bed was super comfortable, the street was quiet, and the apartment was secure. Just a short walking distance from many good restaurants/bars.

Comments: Great stay in a safe and nice area (Park Slope). Michael was very friendly and helpful from the beginning, we had a late arrival and the snacks and drinks he left us were very handy after a long flight. Very nice place and decor, perfect for our party (3 people). Subway stop just half a block away. Highly recommended.

Comments: Perfect location.... Space was more than we expected...we were 2 adults and 2 kids and never felt cramped ... The beds were more than comfortable....Michael and Orlando's suggestions and list of favorites were great and helpful after long days of touring the city. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Thank you to our hosts.

Comments: Michael was a fantastic host; he was unable to meet us right at check-in, however the lockbox was well located and very easy to use - and he came to check how we were as soon as he was able. There is a house manual inside with answers to all your questions, and a guide to the local area with recommendations for restaurants, supermarkets, laundries etc which we used for most meals! The apartment is exactly as it looks in the photos; so spacious and really well maintained, it was great to come back to at the end of each day. The location is also fantastic, super close to multiple shopping strips, and just half a block from subway! It really was the perfect place to stay :)

Comments: We spent 10 days in this cosy apartment and felt at home from the first minute. It is nicely furnished and has a perfectly equipped little kitchen with even a microwave which was very useful. The patio was ideal for having breakfast or reading a book in the afternoon. I liked watching the squirrels hiding their nuts in the garden and the various birds. 10th Street is very quiet, hardly any traffic especially during the nights. We slept with our windows open. With so many trains and buses just steps away every part of NY can be reached in no time. Michael is a wonderful host answering our questions immediately and even rushed home to "rescue" us when we locked ourselves out in the backyard. He and Orlando live upstairs but they gave us all the privacy we wanted. This was our third airbnb experience in Brooklyn and it was the best!

  • Reviewer: Asha

Comments: Really beautiful little apartment. Felt like our own house. Michael was really easy to communicate with. Really close to the Subway. Highly recommend it.

  • Reviewer: Faith

Comments: Michael's apartment is a gem. It's updated, comfortable, and perfectly located with easy access to Manhattan via the subway (1/2 block away), and Prospect Park via a lovely walk. The studio feels homey (lots of games and books) without making you feel like you're intruding. I enjoyed coffee on the patio each morning, an added bonus. Michael himself was a fabulous host: I'd mentioned when I reserved that we'd be visiting NYC to celebrate my wife's birthday, and Michael left us celebratory libations (!); he made us feel at home, and accomodated our need to arrive a bit early and leave a bit late. We'll recommend this to anyone who asks, and definitely stay there again next time we're in NYC.

  • Reviewer: Donald

Comments: Most importantly, the apartment and the host Michael were both well-deserving of the great reviews that they have received. The place was super clean(as I guess it should be for the $75 cleaning fee-worth it when amortized over 4 days), spacious at 700 sq.ft., well-stocked, & located on the ground floor( a plus for us older people). Michael was very pleasant & helpful on the one occasion that we needed help, & very available, an obvious advantage of having the host living in the same building. When he came down to help us with a TV technology problem(shocker-an older couple having trouble with how to work the remotes), he seemed genuinely glad to help us, rather than it being an annoyance to him. Communication was very speedy & helpful. Checking-in and out was easy & went smoothly; we even quickly found a parking space on the next block & didn't have to move it until the weekly street sweeper came in 4 days). The neighborhood info booklet, put together with effort by Michael & Orlando, was useful, as were the travel books. We would add a semi-close coffee/pastry store, Martin's Café, apparently popular with the locals, on 5th Ave., opposite the Middle School, near 5th St., as I recall. 5th Ave., in general, had many stores, with a number of eateries, including fast food places and non-fancy, affordable sit-down restaurants. Prospect Park was a 15 minute walk away, but you're walking through blocks of lovely brownstones, etc. with very nice autumnal flowers & other decorations. And another 15 min. walk through Prospect Park (not Central Park, but still very nice) has you at the Botanical Gardens & Brooklyn Art Museum. Traffic noise was hardly noticeable and not a problem. The neighbor's construction must have finished, or if not finished, it didn't produce any morning noise. The only noticeable, but bearable morning noise was the low-grade rumble of the very near-by subway, an acceptable trade-off for the convenience of having 3 different subway lines steps away from your front door. I would definitely recommend this lovely apartment with its great location and its Super Host.

Garanzia assoluta!!!

Comments: Just back from eight nights at Michael's apartment in Park Slope Brooklyn. From the very first contact through the site Michael was very quick to come back to us with answers and any information we required. On our arrival it was very easy to gain entry to the apartment & Michael was available if we had any problems. The apartment was as described in the listing, was spotlessly clean & well appointed with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was a good size and had a very good shower. Michael had made up a local guide listing local amenities & restaurants, he had also left some complimentary drinks in the fridge on our arrival. We made good use of his restaurant recommendations. The subway station was at the bottom of the street and made access into Manhattan very easy. We were also impressed with the Park Slope neighbourhood and Brooklyn generally and would recommend visitors spend some time exploring locally. He also let us have a late check out on our departure. Would definitely stay in Michaels apartment again.

Comments: This was our first visit to NYC and we had the best time. After a long day of shopping, sightseeing and fun stuff we returned to a very nice, spacious, clean, warm and welcoming apartment. There is nothing Michael hasn't thought of. There was water and beer in the fridge when we arrived and a very helpful binder with useful tipps. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bathroom was stocked with towels, soap, lotion, a hair dryer and so on. The bed was very comfortable and we had a lot of space to put our clothes. If we weren't in the mood to go out in the evening we watched Netflix or Hulu on the couch. I could go on and on... We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here and we'll come back as soon as possible.

Comments: The apartment was 100% true to the photos - gorgeous! It was really easy to get the keys from the lockbox, and even though the bedroom faces the street, the apartment was incredibly quiet. Communication with Michael was clear from the beginning and my parents had everything they needed. The apartment is basically in front of the 4th Ave/9th St station which made it super convenient as well with out of towners who aren't used to walking much. Would definitely rent from Michael again!

  • Reviewer: Jacob

Comments: This place was great and in a spectacular location for getting around. Just down the road you have plenty to eat and Prospect Park and less then a block from the house you have access to the F G and R Train which makes getting into the city or around Brooklyn easy! The apartment itself is very spacious and nicely up kept. Very happy with the overall stay here.

  • Reviewer: Nick

Comments: Michael was pro-active and thorough with pre-trip communications, and with check-in details the day of our arrival. He allowed us to leave our bags before check-in, which was a great help to us. A huge vase of gorgeous flowers greeted us inside the well-appointed and freshly cleaned apartment. We never saw/met Michael during our long weekend stay, but it was nice knowing he lived right upstairs in case we had any questions. We already knew the neighborhood, so we didn't need much help. Proximity to the subway (150 yards?) could not be better, and there are numerous excellent eating and shopping establishments nearby as well. All in all, we loved our stay and would certainly return next time. Thanks, Michael!

Comments: We had a great stay at Michael's apt. A spacious place where my wife and I could hang our hat when we weren't out exploring the city. Michael was an excellent host and very prompt to respond to any inquiries. He left a binder full of suggestions which we made good use for restaurants, etc. The Park Slope area is full of cool places to explore, especially the awesome Prospect Park! I imagine it must be a busy oasis in the Spring time, but we enjoyed a brisk winter walks through there anyways. There is a subway that will get you to Manhattan in about 20 min that is literally a half block away. As an airbnb host myself, I definitely notice the little things Michael does to ensure that guests enjoy their time at his apartment. I hope to be back the next time I'm in Brooklyn. And if you're thinking about his apartment, just book it! You won't regret it.

Cuanta con todos los utensilios necesarios, pero además su anfitrión Michael siempre está disponible para facilitarte cualquier utensilio o ayudarte. Comments: Micheal is an excellent host with an awesome place in Park Slope. It's a spacious layout, decorated with cool art, books and furniture. The place is very well put together, my wife and I felt right at home. The neighborhood is nice and quite, very close to the F, G, and R train lines. Many great restaurants and bars are within walking distance or a train stop away. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

  • Reviewer: Meg

Comments: I loved feeling like I was in my own Brooklyn apartment, eclectically decorated with a nice mix of vintage and modern furniture and travel memorabilia from all over the world. The apartment is light filled and spacious, plenty of room for everyone to spread out, it is equiped with everything you might need for a multi-night stay. Robert was immediately available to answer any questions though, I didn't have many as everything was well explained before my arrival and further explained in the handy notebook full of information about the apartment and the neighborhood. The convenience to the subway stop can't be over stated, half a block! We had an easy drive to Park Slope from D.C., and just as Robert suggested we would on a Friday night, found a parking space right on the block. Some of our favorite Brooklyn restaurants are within a few minutes walk, Al Di La (Italian), Culture (the best frozen yogurt), Martin (coffee), Locanda Mariella (Italian wine bar), Olivier (a sweet little French bistro) and on 5th Ave are a great Thai and Mexican restaurant whose names I don't remember at the moment. I'm looking forward to returning in warmer weather when we can also use the garden patio for coffee or a glass of wine.

Comments: This place was perfect for my husband and I on a recent visit to Brooklyn to see our daughter who lives nearby. It is only a half block from the subway to almost anywhere and walking distance to great restaurants, shops, the Brooklyn Museum, the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and Prospect Park. Easy to get to Manhattan as well. We were easily able to take the train from JFK Airport as well. The apartment was stocked with everything we needed and was very comfortable. It was also much quieter than expected. We hope to return!

Comments: There are many reasons this apartment is almost always booked! My stay at Michael's apartment in Park Slope was perfect in many ways. I travel to NYC weekly for work so, certainly appreciated the quiet yet, central location in Brooklyn. The apartment is exactly how it looks in the photos...super clean, spacious, comfortable decor, tons of storage & well appointed kitchen. Michael even left some cold beverages in the fridge and snacks to make the stay even better! You can walk to many shops and restaurants in the area. There is even a book that contains Michael's guidance and feedback on local retail and eats - that came in handy. Unfortunately, I did not get to enjoy the outdoor garden due to the weather but, hope to do so when can stay again!

Comments: Our host made us more than welcome, so obliging in any help we sought, even inviting us for a glass of wine. We were really touched by that. Our host provided detailed listing of local restaurants which we enjoyed, it was so helpful. The listing is accurately described. We were more that happy in this spacious apartment that had everything we needed, particularly air conditioning so important over summer. It is a wonderful neighbourhood. 2 minutes from the subway where all of New York City is easily accessible. We would have no hesitation to recommend staying here to any New York visitor.

Comments: My friends and I really enjoyed our stay at Michaels. It's in a fantastic part of Brooklyn that is safe and surrounded by super convenient metro station and food options. The apartment itself is modern, clean and very well looked after. We really enjoyed having the garden out the back too for summer afternoons. Beds were comfy, even the sofa bed! Only thing to note is 3 beds means 1 queen bed, 1 double sofa and 1 crib.

Comments: I had the pleasure of staying at Michaels listing for 2 weeks while in NY for business. The proximity to the subway was fabulous! I could be anywhere in the city within an hour. Any questions or concerns that I had regarding the stay was answered quickly by Michael, and the apartment met all my needs. The neighborhood is great as well! I highly recommend the farmers market on 5th Ave between 4th and 3rd streets, and the juice shop between Steve's O town grocery and the CVS.

Comments: Michael was a fabulous host. He and Orlando greeted me upon my arrival, had a sign in the house with a personalized hello and a box of amazing cookies. The home was spotless, comfortable and quiet. It was certainly a bit of heaven after long days working in the city. Michael made it easy to get around and choose places to eat as he had assembled a notebook of "things you need to know". I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Comments: This is a great base for a visit to New York. The apartment is large, bright, and convenient for 3 people (even 4 if they share the sofa-bed). Full kitchen makes it easy to eat at home. Bed and sofa-bed are very comfortable. Good heat and a/c and quiet. Excellent location for tourists: half a block from the junction of two subways, so quick transit to downtown & midtown manhattan (or to williamsburg), Short walk to Prospect Park or to Brooklyn Heights / Cobble Hill. One block from a major local shopping street. Michael was friendly and helpful and always available by instant message,

Comments: Michael's apartment was amazing to stay in. It was very clean and spacious. Public transport was very easy to access, with a subway stop very close by. While we didn't get a chance to meet Michael and Orlando, Michael was very prompt in replying to messages and was very accommodating.

Comments: Michael is a very thoughtful host who provides a wonderfully convenient location to explore all that Park Slope has to offer. This secure apartment is steps away from the subway, and easily accessible to restaurants, parks and shops. Michael responded immediately to our inquiries, and even came to our rescue late in the evening when we thought we had locked ourselves out of the apartment. There is an informative notebook that Michael has carefully compiled about the area that shows the extent of his concern for his guests. Thank you Michael for your gracious hospitality!

Comments: This really was a fabulous Park Slope garden apartment just as advertised. We were able to find everything we needed and more right in the neighborhood. Beautiful Prospect Park is nearby, as well as subway service that opens up the whole city. Michael was very understanding when I had a little trouble figuring out how airbnb works, and he made the process, and our stay comfortable.

Comments: First time staying in Brooklyn and Michael's house made it amazing. Location is perfect for my 4 yr old, safe and s (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) quiet. It's much more spacious than what it seems, and having the backyard is great! The apartment is clean, well equipped and the bed's super comfy. Best part of our stay was our host who was amazing... He was always reachable, responsive and made us feel so welcome. We'll definitely want to come back and stay again!

Comments: Michael's apartment was a great home base for our trip to NYC. We liked being in a neighborhood a little bit removed from the bustle, but had no trouble getting to and from Manhattan via the subway station 1/2 block from the apartment. The apartment was beautifully decorated, and Michael had thought of everything--there were answers to every question we might have in a little guest book left for us. We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Comments: Michael's South Park Slope apartment is perfect. It's clean, quiet, and comfortable. Comments: Fantastic apartment in Park Slope, very convenient to that part of Brooklyn but also super easy to catch the trains from the end of the block and head into Manhattan (or anywhere else). Spacious and clean, with your own laundry and access to a private patio and small garden, which is really nice to have in the middle of the city. (We woke up to birds singing). Well stocked with essentials and a nice extra touches like a great collection of books. On top of all that, Michael is an incredibly fast and responsive communicator and very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

Comments: This is a great launchpad for actitivites in the area, or just a place to hang around. With the small outside terrace with table and chairs, it offers the outdoors without the hustle-bustle of the street activity. It was quiet and the only thing I noticed occassionally was a distant rumble from the subway. Highly recommend.

Comments: Nice garden apartment in park Slope. Michael was a friendly and informative host who told us out-of-towners about the neighborhood. Clean and well furnished. We enjoyed our short 2 day stay.

  • Reviewer: Raija

Comments: Michael was a very hospitable host. He was easy to contact, he was home in the middle of his working hours to let us in, earlier than we had agreed. When the weather turned hot, he came to fix the air conditioning. He even invited us to a party that he was giving in the backyard on a Sunday afternoon but which we unfortunately couldn't attend. The apartment was spacious for two people, the separate bedroom a good thing and the big bed very comfartable. The location is good if you want to go to Manhattan or the areas of Brooklyn - the subway and the bus stops are just in two minutes' walk. There are lots of good restaurants nearby, and Michael had given good advice to find them - and other things too - in the little personal guidebook for visitors on the table.

Comments: I found Michael's apartment even better than what it looked like in the pictures. It's spacious, perfectly clean and very well taken care of. I particularly appreciated the cozy garden. Michael and Orlando were always available both before and during our stay, answering all our messages within minutes. Their superhost badge is well deserved. They were so kind as to welcome us with complimentary drinks and fresh bagels. They also provided detailed instructions about the house and very useful information about the neighborhood. The house is located in a quiet street – you hardly ever hear a car passing by. The F line is just half block away and it takes no longer than six stops to reach Downtown Manhattan. I can definitely recommend Michael's place and I'll consider staying there again if I come back again.

Comments: This was our second visit to Michael's place. Each time we stayed for 3 weeks. We found the place perfect for us. It is virtually adjacent to a subway station, it is a lovely neighbourhood, the apartment is spotlessly clean and has everything that you might need. The host are delightful and helpful. To my mind any visit to New York makes this the perfect place to stay.

  • Reviewer: Yolande

Comments: Michael was available when we checked in. Great communication, very organized, he keeps a folder with pages and pages of places to eat, shop, visit, etc. There were 4 of us, including 2 teenagers. Everyone in our party enjoyed their stay in Brooklyn. Everything is just a few blocks away: gelato, restaurants, bagels, grocery store, and of course the subway stop down the street. We have stayed in Manhattan several times before, so we wanted to try a different neighborhood away from tourists! If you are traveling by car, the neighborhood has free street parking. You may have to park a block or 2 away, but there are spots.

Comments: Michael & Orlando's garden apartment is a comfortable, quiet and lovely base to explore Brooklyn. We were especially delighted to find the bed quite comfortable by our standards... firm but not hard. Our backs were very happy and we were grateful for the deep sleep.

Comments: What an amazing place and great hosts! They have the best binder ever with place recommendations and maps - it really helped us explore the neighborhood. Some complementary bagels and beverages to greet us, guide books to borrow ideas from and so close to the subway so we could explore easily. What a comfortable, quiet and clean spot. There was even a little backyard spot to have breakfast coffee and that bagel! I would recommend this spot to anyone. I'm a little sensitive to noise and it was nice and quiet while also close to the subway and plenty of great places for food and drink. I would stay here again in a second.

Comments: Michael and Orlando were great hosts! They were very out of the way, but still readily available via messages, or by just walking upstairs and knocking on the door. The apartment was larger than I expected and a shorter commute, too; it really is ideally situated if you're commuting into the city for work. Everything was clean and convenient. Comments: Michael's place was great! I am a last minute planner, and he made the check-in and communication super easy. He had a cleaner come in asap, allowed me to drop my bags while they cleaned, etc. The bed is comfy as can be - I was stopping through after a long trip and this really hit the spot. Location is safe, convenient and on very cute block. They left snacks in the kitchen, coffee in the cabinet, and a binder with all info needed. Bonus and one of the best parts is that they have a really great yard area in the back, which I utilized in the morning for coffee and catching up on work emails. Highly recommend!

Comments: This was one of our favourite Airbnb stays. It was exactly as advertised but Michael goes the extra mile with details that go a long way. There was a binder with all of the information we could possibly want from an intro to our hosts, where to eat, our WiFi info and more. Simple things like Welcome Paul and Nadia written to us in the entryway and candies in the kitchen....they have thought of everything and it felt like home and then some. We will definitely stay here again when back in the New York area.

Michael was very thorough and responsive, and the place was quiet and clean. Even though we've lived in the neighborhood for years, I found the binder these guys have put together with tips on local restaurants and attractions really engrossing.

Comments: I stayed here for three nights while traveling on business. There was an F train stop on the block, which was extremely convenient and gave me a door to door to commute to the office on 42nd Street. A+ The location was also great in terms of day to day amenities. When we arrived, Michael showed us the apartment and a local guide he had put together. He highlighted the 24 hour rite aid just around the corner, as well as the closest grocery stores. My wife came with me, and she was able to book some morning gym classes less than a block away. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone (including my future self :) ). The apartment itself was extremely clean and had a lot of nice touches in terms of style (wall art, etc.). The bed was freshly made and there were plenty of pillows and blankets. There were plenty of towels and the shower was a comfortable size. The kitchen was not too small and there was a nice couch area and a nice dining room table. Thanks for a great few days!
