  Comments: This apartment is excellent. It's full of light and is very spacious with lovely new furniture and nice new fittings. It seems to have been renovated recently. The room is very large, with an ensuite bathroom. These areas can be separated off from the rest of the apartment and are private. Andrew was a really excellent host as well; he made me very welcome. He has a stack of information about New York and Williamsburg. The area is great as well - right in Williamsburg, close to Bedford Ave, with lots of cafes and places to eat nearby. It's about an 8 minute walk to the subway (the L) at Bedford Ave. You can see the East River and Manhattan from the living room, looking down the street.

  Comments: Andrew has a fantastic apartment with ample living space and was an excellent host, offering me a welcome gin & tonic and a tour of the neighborhood upon arrival. Given the privacy created by the second bedroom, the overall setup of the apartment (spacious kitchen and full dining table, good light and renovated amenities), prime location, hospitality of the host and price point, I think this is one of the better values on AirBnB. Highly recommended!

  Comments: Andrew's apartment truly was a rare find! As a fellow Airbnb host in the city, I set a high standard and expectation when I comes to the listings i would recommend to friends. Since my family was in town and I was unable to house my friends who were visiting, I had found Andrew's apartment in Williamsburg. The location is fantastic. Walking distance to the Bedford L train which is only one stop from Manhattan, and is conveniently located in the heart of Williamsburg, where plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants can be found among a very lively nightlife. The apartment itself is meticulously clean and beautifully furnished. The private room is enormous for nyc standards, on top of which has taken own bathroom. Andrew was very hospitable and I wouldn't be hesitant in recommending this place to my friends and family.

  Comments: I had a fantastic experience staying with Andrew in Williamsburg. His apartment was perfectly located in close proximity to the subway and good bars/restaurants. Andrew provided everything I could possibly need, including a clean bedroom/private bathroom, towels, sheets, etc. He also made the check in and check out process extremely easy, allowing me to stick to my own schedule on my way out. Helped out greatly during an initial scheduling pickle as well. I would highly recommend staying here when in NYC.

  Comments: Our stay at Andrew's place coudn't have been better. The place is exactly as described. It is a completly renovated building, really well located in the heart of the trendy and vibrant Williamsburg. Everything is new and super clean in this charming appartment and there is a private bathroom with bath in the room! It is also very quiet, we were surprised to wake up with the sound of birds in the morning! Andrew was really helpful giving us some good adresses and tips during our stay. It is a enjoyable 10 min or less walk to Bedford subway station, and just one station to Manhattan. Also, we had no problem to find a spot to park our car for free in the area. I wouldn't hesitate any second to come back at Andrew's place for another Newyorker/Brooklyner week end, and would highly recommend it to any of my friends!

As other reviews have mentioned, the room is modern and spotless, with all the amenities you would need and very private with its own bathroom. It was better than some hotels we have stayed at! The location is perfect for exploring Williamsburg. Close to the action as it is near to Wythe and Bedford Aves and felt very safe. There is a good coffee shop just a couple of doors down, and a nice Italian restaurant across the road. The subway is about 10 mins away and only a couple of stops on the L train to the heart of Manhattan. We had a great time here and would wholeheartedly recommend Andrew's apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Williamsburg. Superb value. Thanks Andrew!

  Comments: Het bezoek en de correspondentie met Andrew verliep zeer vlot en soepel. Door middel van het vertrouwen voelden we ons meteen welkom. Andrew is zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk en denkt mee. Hij heeft alles super op orde. Kortom, een AWESOME verblijf. Zijn verblijf ligt centraal in Williamsburg. Williamsburg, Brooklyn is een artistieke buurt. De wijk is super hip. Hier vinden veel activiteiten plaats en je kan er goed eten (Andrew geeft je ook goede tips). Cafes en restaurantjes op max. 10 min lopen. Lekkere koffie bij Devocion om de hoek, Bagels bij Bagelsmith (om de hoek bij de metro), Koreaans eten bij Dekobi, etc. Het is zeer goed te doen met de metro (lijn L en op 10 min. lopen) en wij vonden al snel onze weg. Vriendelijke mensen en behulpzaam als je ze aanspreekt.

  Comments: We had a very pleasant stay at Andrew's apartment. The apartment is spacious, well equipped and Andrew didn't mind us using his kitchen and other facilities. He is an excellent host with a lot of local knowledge. During the booking phase and our stay he was available for any advice and requests. Most of the time he replied within a few minutes! Andrews apartment is well situated if you want tot stay in 'Hipster' Williamsburg. The Metro is approximately 10 minutes walk and there are plenty of nice restaurants and bars close by. Compared to Manhattan in Williamsburg there is a much more laid back vibe. We can recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Williamsburg. Andrew thanks for your hospitality

  Comments: This is a wonderful place for any of those who are seeking the following features 1. Good location. I wasn't really informed of the Williamsburg and its surroundings. Yet, I had to change my plans just to spend a day near the beautiful neighborhood. Andrew's house is close to many of the good cafes, restaurants, and the brooklyn market if you are planning to cook home. 2. Neat and comfortable room and amenities. The room is large and comfortable to sleep, stay, and store your luggage. Never felt uncomfortable with the room. Internet router is inside the room, and so I had the fastest wifi access than in any other places during my stay in NYC. You also have laundry machines, AC, and a chrome cast if you want to play music or watch a movie. 3. Fair accessibility to Manhattan It is around 10 min walk to the L station which goes to the core of Manhattan. Major tourist attractions and museums in Manhattan are within 30-35 minute accessibility including walking time.

  Comments: The apartment was just like the pictures! The private room is spacious and it is nice that you have your own bathroom. Andrew was a good host, nice and friendly and everything was well arranged. We loved the location, and the neighborhood of Williamsburg. We had dinner in Williamsburg the whole week and never went to Manhattan for that, because there are so many nice places to go. Our favorites where: Walter Foods, Sweetwater and Oregano (Italian). From the Bedford subway it is only 3 stops to Union square station wherefrom you can go everywhere quickly. It was our first Airbnb experience and this was really a very good start!

  Comments: Had a wonderful stay at Andy's apartment due in no small part to its appointment and his hosting skills. Our paths crossed three or four times over our stay and he always had a pleasant word or a recommendation about what to see or do The apartment was in fact better than the description on line - really airy and bright and our room (with its en-suite) was great. As we were on a road trip it was good to have plenty of wardrobe space to hang clothes. Also as an aside his broadband speed was lightening quick - 45 mb/s. The neighbourhood of Williamsburgh is up and coming and trendy with every one wired to either their phone, tablet or laptop. Ate out three nights locally and never felt apprehensive or concerned about walking home afterwards - really pleasant. We loved staying with Andy for all the above reasons but also, for us personally were the views of Manhatten from the park at the bottom of his road (100 metres). The classic sky line just laid there in front of you - way better than staying IN Manhatten. The same applied to using the East river ferry ($4) to upper or lower Manhatten, a 10 minute walk and way better views than being sat on the subway.

  Comments: To be in Andrew´s place was fantastic!!!, he was very, but very helpfull and generous, I had there anything I needed, his apartament is beautifull and so comfortable and nice decorated and he made me feel at home. The neighborhood couldn´t be nicer and safe and is so close from Bedford Street which is surrounded by an amazing amount of interesting shops and cofees and restaurants, and at a very short walking distance you can get lane L and in one stop you are in Manhattan!!!   Comments: I have mixed feelings on leaving this review, as I intend to stay here in the near future and if I gush too much, there may be no availability. I have to say that Andrew was the perfect host (even from Australia) and it was the perfect apartment. It was sunny and warm during some very cold days and just pleasant to be in a place that was so well furnished and laid out. The pantry was stocked, there was pour-over coffee and the bed was quite comfortable. I can't wait to come back!

Excellent communication by Andrew post booking, pre arrival and on arrival, in fact he made me feel totally at home. The location is great and close to all the restuarants, bars and public travel facilities. Every picture tells a story! So Andrew's posted photographs are accurate plus some. A great bedroom with ensuite and very very comfortable living room with all the mod cons in the kitchen. Overall a extremely comfortable and worthy experience. Fue nuestra primera experiencia compartiendo hospedaje y la verdad que no pudo haber sido mejor. El departamento es tal cual se ve en las fotos. Gran tamaño y mucha luz. Muy confortable. La zona es muy linda si uno busca estar bien cerca de Manhattan y a su vez tener la posibilidad de disfrutar un poco más de tranquilidad. En la esquina está el East River donde se pueden disfrutar los atardeceres y está lleno de lugares para comer, tomar algo,etc. La distancia al subte es de 7 cuadras aproximadamente. Primer parada de Brooklyn del metro L. Fue muy flexible con horario de ingreso y salida. Nos dejo dejar todas nuestras valijas en el departamento hasta el momento de irnos al aeropuerto. Muchísimas gracias otra vez Andrew por todo! Ciertamente si volvemos sería un alojamiento a repetir!

  Comments: Andrew has been such a great host! He was willing to help in anything we needed. It was the first time we shared a place and it has been a super great experience as in NY your're almost never ar home during the day so it was easier! Also... the neighbourhood is super cool with plenty of stores and restaurants and bars. Lots of people specially during weekends. It is also 5 min walf from the metro and from there only a couple of stops to Manhattan. Last, but not least, Andrew is super tidy and he was even worried about a lamp that has been broken by the previous guest and managed to replace it during our stay. A nice diversion from the usual Manhattan hotels that are at least twice the price. Andrew’s apartment was clean, stylish, and amazingly quiet at night in a busy city. There’s a washing machine and dryer, being able to wash clothes was brilliant. We were able to come home with clean clothes. The apartment was stocked with the essentials like, laundry soap, shampoo, body wash, teas, condiments in the fridge. If you were a staying in a hotel, you would only have a mini fridge. We would book this again on our next visit to NYC.

  Comments: Andrew's place is one of my favorite Airbnb rentals I've ever stayed at. The apartment is clean, stylish, and above all, comfortable. The room and bathroom had everything I needed, and the space is full of thoughtful touches that make you feel perfectly at home, like a Sonos speaker in the bedroom that you can use and extra fluffy pillows. The bed is also the most comfortable bed away from home I've ever slept in. Even though technically this rental was for a private room in a shared space, I felt like I had the place to myself and only ran into Andrew once during my four-night stay. Not that I would have minded if we'd seen each other more — he's polite and welcoming, and I felt at ease in his home. The location is excellent; it's about a 10-minute walk to the L-train to get into Manhattan, and the surrounding neighborhood is lined with cool restaurants, bars, and shops. This place is a great value, and I'm glad I stayed there instead of a hotel. Thanks for the hospitality, Andrew!
