  Comments: I had the best experience, I didn't imagine a BnB could be so organized! The bedroom is beautiful, the whole house is clean and very modern, I suppose it was restored recently. The location is ideal, very close to popular King St. and to buses and trains. I was happy to find out that while you have to enter the bedroom after 2 and leave it before noon when you check in and out, there is space for luggage so you can drop off and collect out of check time! I couldn't meet the host personally but everything is so organized that I could move in and out with no problems. I highly reccommend this bedroom and host.

  Comments: After staying in the room with the balcony for 10 nights I switched to a separate room for my remaining 4 (and then booked an extra one) The rooms were both really spacious. I have loved staying in Miss D's house and I'm going to find it hard to move out. She is very friendly and helpful and I can give check in/ check out/ cleanliness / location all top marks! The beds are amazing, the guests have all been lovely and I really enjoyed meeting and chatting to Miss D. Location is 5 minutes from Newtown Station and easily accessible to everywhere in the city. This was the perfect place to stay for my first 2 weeks in Sydney and I am going to find it hard to leave. Thank you Miss D!

  Comments: We had a lovely stay at MissD's home. It is very close (3 minute walk) to King Street for eats and drinks, as well as Enmore Theatre which was where we went for the evening. The home was clean, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, the towels were fluffy, and there are two clean and bright bathrooms. We will stay there again.

  Comments: Nothing is too much trouble for MissD. I had literally booked the day before. We arrived early and MissD's friendly husband was extremely helpful and accommodating preparing the room in no time and then by chance securing a perfect, handy parking space for us. Great atmosphere, locality very clean and well kept. Quality linen and fluffy thick towels. We would love to stay again.

  Comments: Excellent communication and kind gestures such as leaving Cadbury easter eggs for us in the kitchen one morning. Location is in a cool, young, hipsterish neighborhood 3 minute walk from Newtown Station, which was super convenient. The room is perfectly clean, The apartment itself has a lot of fun character and the owner has decorated in great taste that enhances the stay. Bed was large and VERY comfortable. I wasn't able to meet the owner, but briefly met the husband as he stopped by to welcome us. Seemed very kind. My girlfriend and I agreed that we have no choice but to stay here again if we ever visit Sydney again. We LOVED it!

  Comments: We stayed 1 Night in Miss D.s lovely Appartement. The House is easy to reach and close to the Train Station. The Check in was easy and fast. Our Room was really nice furnished and really comfortable! Unfortunatly the room was a bit noisy at night because the window went towards the street. The shared kitchen and lounge were nice. all in all we had a really nice stay here.

  Comments: MissD's Appartement ist sehr schön und zentral gelegen und alles war so, wie auf den Bildern gezeigt und wie es beschrieben wurde. Erwähnen sollte man jedoch für lärmempfindliche Menschen die Einflugschneise des Flughafens direkt über dem Appartement. Wenn man länger als eine Nacht dort bleibt, sollte man sich eventuell überlegen, ob man sich nicht etwas Ruhigeres suchen sollte. MissD ist sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit schnell zu erreichen, egal, um welche Frage es sich handelte. Auch die Informationen, die im Zimmer aushängen, sind sehr hilfreich.

  Comments: I spent a night in Newtown during Easter. Walked into a neat and tidy room with welcoming bunny easter chocolate on the table. What a delight! Room was spacious. Very comfortable (and fluffy) bed! Although D was not there during my stay, she was very quick with replies and made sure I had no trouble getting in to the house. Self check in and check out system very efficient and flexible. Newtown is a lively suburb by day. Cannot stress more on the extremely strategic location of this listing. 4km / 15 minutes drive into CBD. Walking distance to famous cafes (Blackstar pastry 5 minutes walk) and there's a map to nearby cafes and eateries in our room! Street parking was free on designated hours, no issues at all. In general, very happy with the stay.

  Comments: Me and my boyfriend stayed at Miss D's place for two nights and we had a great stay. The location was in an excellent location, 5 minute walk to the train station and to the bustling street of Newtown. The place was very clean and tidy! And there were cereals, milk, coffee and tea for all guests to use in the morning. There was also clean towels and two bottles of water in our room upon arrival! The communication with the host was great, she made sure we got in okay by sending a message and also messaged the next day to check that our stay was okay which showed how she cared about her guests! The check in process was very smooth as clear directions were given of how to get the key for our room. Overall a very nice stay and we would recommend this place to anyone!   Comments: The apartment has everything you need and you will look for in a place when you're in Sydney! I cannot emphasize how great the location was and how interesting the neighborhood is. Also a few meters away from the bus and train station. The apartment was very clean, orderly and was very photogenic as well. We really enjoyed our stay here. Miss D and her husband were very kind and accomodating, and even helped us book a cab for our super early flight. I highly recommend this apartment jf you want to maximize you. She even allowed us to leave our bags in the apartment while we roamed around as we were waiting for 2pm checkin. Bonus: you get free cereals and milk 24/7!

  Comments: Organisation was great. No problems finding the lovely old terrace house or acccessing the key even though it was late Sunday. The room was bright, clean and airy with lovely linen. While the plane noise is a bit annoying the great location and access to trains and restaurants and the good price makes it a great place to stay.

This place is also a good way to meet people as the whole house is for Airbnb travelers. Last, Miss D was very reactive, flexible and helpful to make my stay as good as possible!

We can get to the train from the house just 3 minutes. It is so convenient for those travellers. The house is very clean and comfortable.   Comments: Miss D was very responsive and helpful. I was amazed at how prompt she responded to all my queries. She also went an extra mile to always ensure that I was fully satisfied with the answers provided. I remember asking for a last minute change on the room setup as I had an extra friend joining us in the trip and she tried her best to accommodate my friend so we could all stay together. When I requested Miss D for an earlier check in, she also accommodated to my request. She even messaged me to ensure that I had no problem in checking in to the house. Throughout our short stay in Miss D's, she always ensured that we were comfortable and had all the necessities available and ready. Miss D was very friendly and exceptionally accommodating to her guests' request and feedback. I and my friend really liked the place! It was clean, organised, and very cosy. The room that we stayed in was also spacious even when there were 4 of us. The bathroom was clean. The house was very organised. I and my friend were so impressed that Miss D labelled everything so properly in the kitchen and put notes around the house which were helpful for visiting guests, who came from outside Sydney. This was my first airbnb stay and I could not stop advocating this place to all my other friends :) I would without any hesitance come back again if I am to visit Sydney in the future. Miss D assisted us with our arrival and departure times. The bed was very comfortable, the pillows were too big (though this is a personal choice) so would have been good if other options were available. Was a little put off to see hairs in the bed ( just hoping it was from the person changing the sheets). The room was clean as well as the bathroom and kitchen. It would have been good to have a television either in the room or the lounge area. Also first impressions, would be great to see the front garden looking a bit more loved.   Comments: Very good experience of BnB ! The location was excellent, 3min from train station, took us only 15-20min to go to the main sites of Sydney (Opera house, Harbour Bridge, etc). The street is quiet but if you walk 3min you will find a lot of restaurants/cafes. The room and the rest of the house were clean and tidy. The instructions were very clear and there were some enjoyable tips about the neighborhood, the transports and Sydney in general inside the room. Even if we didn't have the pleasure to meet MissD, she was a great host. Always available, kind and full of good advices, I would definitely recommend her.

  Comments: Although I didn't meet my host face to face, I immediately felt welcome with instructions for getting into the house and amenities for cooking etc. Everything was exactly as advertised. This place is very easy to find in a lovely neighborhood (yoga studio right around the corner, if you're into that!) and the most convenient walk to the train station. It was very clean. If you're looking for a calm, quiet, and easy place to stay, this is it. I'd definitely recommend it.

  Comments: The location of the house is indeed situated near to Newtown Station and a few bus stops. Check in and check out were a breeze, and the rooms looked exactly like that in the photos. Instructions and help were readily available at any time. Breakfast and necessities were refilled very frequently and we never had to worry about running out of food or necessities. Miss D and her husband were extremely helpful and provided us with some really great recommendations for food places! We would definitely recommend Miss D's place to anyone looking to stay in the area and we cant wait to come back again. :) Just a tip for lone travellers - it does get quite dark at night on the street leading to the apartment, so best if you get back to the apartment before nightfall or just carry a flashlight with you.

  Comments: The house is quite easy to find and very near to the train station. Out of the house and after turning left, straight up and following the road out to the main road, turn left and walk straight for about 2 mins and you'll be at Newtown train station. There were 3 of us, and lucky for us we booked the room on the lower level (it'll be tough for us to carry our luggages up and down the stairs! ). The room is nice and clean, but as there were 3 of us, an extra mattress was added in front of the bed, making the room a little smaller and cramp, but still there is room for us to open 3 luggages at the same time, just that it makes it a little hard to walk. There is a common lounge and kitchen for everyone's use, cereals and milk provided as well for breakfast! There are 2 toilets, one in the building, one outside the house, a right turn from the kitchen just few steps away. Towels and toiletries are provided as well. However, as it is a shared toilet, it gets a little messy and dirty over the days. We stayed for 4 days and generally it was a quite a pleasant stay and the room is cosy enough. Just a note, our room is next to the main entrance so it gets a little noisy when people come in and exit the house.

  Comments: The house is located in a very special area of Sydney. Newtown is the beating heart of the underground scene and you have everything you need. The house is conveniently located 5 min away from the Newtown station and it's basic but very clean. We didn't meet the host, neither all the other guests in the house but we didn't have a problem. The room was really spacious and although we were expecting the third bed to be a real bed, my dad slept well on the floor on a thin mattress. The kitchen has everything you need for a basic cook and the two toilets were clean and very new. The room did smell a bit of mould, but it's a very old house and those days Sydney was very rainy so didn't bothered us too much. I would come back again for a short stay.

  Comments: This was an unusual AirBnB stay in that I never got to meet my host. I arrived mid-day, stored luggage, left to do appointments, arrived back late and left very early for a flight. I only say that as I am unable to comment on any direct guest:host engagement. It was of no account in terms of my stay - the briefing material was clear, the room very clean and comfortable, good quality bed and nice linen. Lots of interesting restaurants and little bars in the neighbourhood but far enough away not to get any noise from the busy main street. I would stay again.

  Comments: The 4 nights in Sydney were amazing and the location of MissD's place was perfect. There were lots of food venues around and places to shop. Lots of cafes and a grocery store in easy walking distance. The Newtown Train Station was very handy, close, and made it simple to get into the city. The place was very comfortable and warming. I was surprised how nice the bathrooms/toilets were!! There was barely any waiting in line and the guest were mostly considerate of others and cleaned up after themselves in the bathrooms and kitchen area. I felt safe and comfortable especially on the first floor with the bars on the windows. Wifi work really well the whole time and if we needed anything (like fresh towels), we got it. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Sydney!! You won't regret it!!

  Comments: MissD provided us with instructions for self-check-in which was easy and clear. The house was clean, everything is labeled, and there are instructions on how to do lots of stuff. The location is top-notch with Newtown's train station and lots of cafés etc. just around the corner. Despite this, the neighborhood is extremely quiet. Only noise you may get is from the other guests if they're not being considerate. Communication with MissD was pleasant and fast. Everything went great and I would recommend staying here.

Things to improve: I would say the mattress on the floor (3rd bed) got pretty uncomfortable after the 3rd night - especially because the blanket was so thin. The toilet got a bit messy since it was a shared bathroom (but this was due to the fault of the other guests, not the host). Overall, however, it was a great stay! We had a lot of fun in Sydney, and the accommodation was good :)

A perfect location to access the city and plenty of stores/restaurants within walking of the apt. We were very surprised though about the accommodations in general. The room picture was very accurate and the room itself was very nice. However the apt was run more like a hostel than we expected. There were several other guests staying in various rooms and the bathroom, kitchen and living room had a very communal feel. I would bring shower shoes for the shower.

Lots of interesting places to explore including plenty of shops, pubs, and restaurants nearby. Station st. is a quaint and classic street with most of buildings from the late 1800's and early 1900's! The building and room are lovely! **Just note that there are actually 4 rooms in MissD's home each with a unique character. Mine was on the first level and featured a very clean & modern decor with high ceilings. There are two shared shower facilities and a communal kitchen. Public transport to the city via train is great and fast but if going to the airport, I found the taxi / Uber style service to be more convenient. I didn't get to meet the host until check-out but there was an easy self check-in/check-out method available! I am confident you will love staying here and certainly recommend the listing :D

  Comments: The accommodation was in a quiet location close to everything in Newtown. It was more of a hostel than we expected as the other rooms of the town house were also rented out via Airbnb. As we did not spend any time in the house apart from sleeping at night and showering in the mornings we never really met any of the other people staying there. The only negative bit would be that my sister was sleeping on a mattress on the floor and there was no top sheet for her and only bare blankets and no doona. When we asked for a top sheet as it feels fresher miss d said: "why would you need that?". When we arrived to the accommodation there was also an unwashed plate in the kitchen, which we got a message about the next day implying that we had left it. As we never had any breakfast at the accommodation but went out to eat it could not have been us. We did not reply to that message though as we felt it had nothing to do with us, and maybe the guest which left the plate had cleaned up after him or herself. I am sorry if we came across as rude guests asking for the top sheet and not replying to the message about the plate. But for guests coming in the future: if there is dishes left by other people, maybe just do them for the sake of peace or tell miss d immediately, and if you are more than two people staying in one room, you can maybe bring a set of travel sheets for the one not sleeping in the bed. We never met miss d and only communicated via this app. The house was clean and if you just need somewhere close to sleep it is a good place to stay. Kind regards

The room looked just like in the photos, really nice and big enough for two suitcases and stuff. The window faces the street so it might be a bit too noisy if u're very sensitive to that. MissD was very helpful with our questions although we never met her. The cleanliness of the bathrooms depends a lot on the other guests too. For us it could have been a bit better, but was ok. The host is quick to communicate with the guests. However, the cleanliness of the house needs to be improved. The bathroom was not cleaned during the entire stay unfortunately. We ran out of toilet paper every second day. This room is on the ground floor right by the stairs and also facing the street so it is quite noisy as the window is not fully sealed. She responded quickly, and had her husband go and clean up for us, and he was there to greet us and give us the lay of the land. He was wonderful! These guys are suuuuuper organized! They also have just about everything you could want, from shelf space (evenly divided by per room) to daily cereal & milk (that is replenished daily). Everything is neat and tidy, and the place truly is "chic" and has great design esthetic. The best part of all of this is the LOCATION! Not only is this city soooo cool and full of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. You're a 5 minute (or less) walk to the train station and bus stops! All in all, I hiiiiiighly recommend this place! You won't regret it!

The bathroom and lounge area is indeed lovely. We had friendly chit chat with some of our housemates. Coffee, towel, tea, mugs and most amenities were provided. We had a heater in the room to keep ourselves warm. Overall, we love her place and would come back again next time. I would rate her place 10/10. I would recommend people staying at her cosy place anytime. Next time you are coming to Malaysia, please do visit us miss D. Thank you for hosting us. You are amazing.

  Comments: Prime location in the middle of an funky hipster neighborhood. Great shops, cafe, restaurants, bar, weekend flea markets, train station, etc., within 5mins from the house. The room is neat, tidy and lovely but expect to hear noises and footsteps from the upper floor if you book room downstairs.

  Comments: It's a good place at great hipster-ish neighborhood for a decent price. The whole vibe it gives out is much like communal youth apartment so if you're into that, you'll like the place. There were some cleanliness issues with bugs but it was generally okay. As far as the room goes you get what you see in the picture. :) P.S. The complimentary breakfast (cereal) is quite good and a nice addition.

  Comments: Communication was easy - Self check-in went smoothly; host sent out clear description on what to do upon arrival. Location was fantastic - multiple public transport options (train & bus), ~5mins walking to Newtown train station, many restaurants & cafes in the area - most open until late hours. The room was also spacious. Breakfast was provided. Host kindly accommodated my request for late check out. The only drawback was that the floor made noises when people walked, so it could be a bit noisy if your room was downstairs. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay! Truly enjoyed my stay there!

  Comments: We had the room located at the ground floor with enough space for all our 3 luggage. The place is clean and the owner comes pretty much everyday and refills whatever needs to be like soap toilet paper etc... My girlfriend felt bad by the time of our arrival and he managed to let us in earlier than check in time. Really appreciated it! Thanks for a nice stay.

  Comments: MissD's house is very central in Newtown with good access to public transportation, restaurants and cafes. The house has a lot of character and our room was beautifully decorated. Basic breakfast was provided and we enjoyed having access to a well-stocked kitchen where we could interact with the other guests. We were in the downstairs bedroom and you did hear a bit of noise from upstairs and the front door. But we knew that in advance so it wasn't a problem. Street parking is usually 2hrs, however there are some streets in the area with no restrictions. Overall very good value, a great place to stay in Sydney and we recommend MissD's house.

  Comments: Fantastic location, great place just around the corner from King St. Very clean, 2 bathrooms which helps with a house full of travelers, good kitchen facilities although no microwave and no TV in the lounge but great WiFi. Downstairs front bedroom was lovely with a beautiful fireplace, hairdryer, mirror and lots of nice touches such as plants and ornaments. All bedrooms are lockable.

  Comments: The communication with MissD is easy and clear. We did not actually meet her, but everything was self-explanatory - if you read and follow the advice that is laying in your room, all your questions will be answered. The room and the bathroom were very clean and everything that you expect from an AirBnB is provided. The location is also a plus, Newtown is an interesting, alive town with a lot to see and it is also close to the city center. The only thing that was not perfect is that the house seems to have thin walls and you can hear almost everything that is happening above or next to you, but that’s just the architecture of the house. I would definitely recommend MissD‘s place.
