  Comments: Staying at the Design Loft in Pera 1 was an amazing experience! I felt at home as soon as I arrived to the property. The hosts Aylin and Jeff were superb. The apt exceeded my expectations. The pictures are 100% accurate and yet looks even better in person. It is centrally located in one of the best neighborhoods in Istanbul. The train station, the newest Soho house and all shopping and restaurant areas are nearby. I would stay here again when I go back to Istanbul! 100% recommended.

  Comments: We spent a great 5 days in Istanbul. It was our first time and we are still dreaming about it back to Paris.))))) Aylin was very responsive to my messages while booking as well as during our stay. Easy communication.The location is great for getting around the famous sites of Istanbul. The apartment is cozy, stylishly decorated and has all the necessities for a short stay. There is some humidity smell coming from the kitchen, but nothing an ambience refresher would not manage to solve. All in all, a good place to stay in the heart of the city.

  Comments: Aylin hat unser sehr nett empfangen und hat uns auch immer geholfen wenn wir Hilfe gebraucht haben ! Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet ,es liegt sehr zetral so das man in der Früh und auch Abend immer in der näheren Umgebung des Apartments was Unternehmen kann .10 meter etfernt im Nachbarhaus ist ein kleiner Kiosk wo man kleinigkeiten einkaufen kann und in 3 minuten gehweg ist eine tolle Bäckerei.Was noch gesagt gehört das Apartment liegt in einem neuem Haus wo nur Ferienapartments ,dadurch finde ich es sicherer !Das einzige es riecht bissl unangenehm von der Klimaanlage oder Badezimmer. Wir würden das Apartment zu 100% Weiterempfehlen !

  Comments: Our flight to Istanbul was cancelled on the departure day at the airport, so we weren't able to make it to Istanbul. I contaced Aylin, and she was very understanding and nice, even we cancelled on very short-notice. As soon as we come to finally do this trip to Istanbul, we will definitely again book the apartment (and hope this time to make it- with another airline ;) ).

  Comments: Nous avons adoré ce studio très bien situé dans le quartier moderne d'Istanbul. Il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût, refait à neuf, les équipements sont en parfait état, la literie très confortable et la vue dégagée sur la ville très reposante. Il est vraiment conforme à ce qu'on peut voir sur les photos. Tout en étant à proximité des quartiers vivants de la ville, il se trouve dans une rue calme ce qui en fait un hâvre de paix quand on rentre. L'accueil d'Aylin était fantastique. elle nous a trouvé un excellent chauffeur de taxi pour le trajet de retour à l'aéroport. En bref, nous le recommandons vivement à tous ceux qui veulent un hébergement dans la partie animée d'Istanbul.

  Comments: The apartment was beautiful, clean and with a very comfy bed. A great view over the Bosphorus, with double glazing so no traffic noise - but we preferred leaving the windows open so we could hear the call to prayer! A great location to explore the trendy area around Taksim full of bars and restaurants, and an easy taxi ride to the old sites. Also near the port to get the ferry to the Asian side, which is fantastic. So all in all, a great and comfortable place to explore the city. As well as this Aylin was a wonderful host - so warm, welcoming and friendly, had great recommendations and answered all our questions and teacher very quickly and helpfully. We can't recommend her place highly enough. Thank you so much Aylin for a wonderful weekend, we can't wait to come back!!

  Comments: The apartment was a great base to explore Istanbul. Aylin was very helpful in booking us taxis and recommending places to eat. The apartment is clean and has everything we needed for our stay. We walked to most places from here but public transport is easy to use and there is a metro stop nearby. It can be quite loud at night as it's in the city centre. An app we found really useful for places to eat listed by area was called zawarib. A must see is the basilica cistern and I would also suggest getting a ferry to Kadikoy to eat. It's very cheap and the food is amazing.

  Comments: Perfect place, standards of cleanliness are really high which I mostly appreciate. Aylin is a lovely host and was extremely helpful. The modern decor is lovely and the location is great in a quiet area (I think there is no more quiet area in Istanbul). We really enjoyed the view from the big windows, the very comfartable bed. I will stay there again next visit to Istanbul.

  Comments: What an amazing flat!! Not only is it in a happening part of town, but it is also also perfectly sized for a stay in Istanbul. We stayed there for 6 days. Aylin iş lovely and I'd definitely recommend staying here. Tips: Have dinner at Milka across the road at night the view is stunning over Istanbul (apx 175TL).

  Comments: We arrived in a little later in the evening, but Aylin was a superb hostess - she not only met us, but took the time to provide local recommendations on places to visit, eat, and also helped us arrange transportation services to the airport. The arranged taxi driver didn't actually show up on time, but that was a bit beyond her control and we were able to arrange otherwise. The flat is super cute and conveniently located - we absolutely loved our stay at Design Loft in Pera 1! Thank you!!

  Comments: I had the most wonderful stay at La Casa Pera. Aylin is uncompromising when it comes to quality and cleanliness. We spent the entire day walking around the city, averaging 50,000 steps a day. It made the visit that much more enjoyable to be able to come home to a cosy, clean and safe place that's right at the heart of the city but in a quiet corner. I highly recommend anybody to stay here on their visit to Istanbul. Aylin was always available to answer any questions and her response time is impeccable

I would highly recommend this apartment and Aylin to anyone. We were looking to stay an extra day and Aylin was able to accommodate our request with no hassle at all. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Istiklal and Galata Tower, but not full of tourists. After just a day we felt like locals and made friends with the shop owners on the street. We can't wait to come back and stay here again.

  Comments: Great location and excellent apartment. Very modern albeit on the small size. It had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. No washing machine which was a pain but we just washed at the next place. The bed was super comfy and the apartment was secure. The room can be a little noisy when people are walking up the stairs and the internet is temperamental- which Aylin was looking into. The location was very central and only a few minutes walk from Istaklal. The apartment was hard to find for our taxi driver and a your we did, so get the taxi driver to speak with Aylin before you start driving to avoid any confusion. Highly recommended

  Comments: My boyfriend and I had two great nights in Aylin's apartment! The apartment is centrally located on a quiet side street, really close to Galata and loads of restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, tidy & super cosy! Aylin & her husband were also lovely and made us feel very at home, providing tea, coffee and juice, even slippers were included. One watchout is that the pin drop on Airbnb is a little off location, and doesn't come up on (Hidden by Airbnb) maps (it's a small side street) & our taxi driver didn't know the street, so might be worth making sure you've got directions just in case. However, this was no bother and would highly recommend staying here!

  Comments: Design Loft Pera 1 was a delight to stay in. Tucked away in a quieter street, yet about a 5 minute walk from a main street of shopping and food that leads right into Taksim Square. The room was small but fit 3 of us comfortably. It is very clean and had everything we could need. There are also two small markets right around the corner where you can get all the essentials. We never got to meet Aylin, but she was very helpful - always quick to answer our questions and calls. Would definitely stay here again!

Building fully renovated in 2015, 15min walk from the Galata tower and few minutes from the subway station Shishane. Many little grocery stores around the flat. The location - Perfect, walking distance from Istiklal street but just distant enough in a quiet and upscale neighborhood. The location is also ideal, set on a quiet hillside but a perfect launchpad for all of the restaurants, cafes and bars in Galata. Very good access to public transport which we took everywhere without issues. Aylin was also very responsive to our questions and made the logistics of checking in and out completely hassle free!

Well located near restaurants and bars with good public transport and grocery shops seconds away. It is located in a nice and calm neighbourhood, with small shops and a very nice caffee close by. It takes not more than 10 min. walk to the heart of Beyoglu with nice locantas and bars. The flat is abundantly recommendable and we would definitely book it once more, when coming to Istanbul again.

  Comments: Our stay with Aylin was very easy and comfortable. The location is great with access to grocery stores and restaurants. The "big" tourist destinations are within walking distance from the apartment and public transport seems readily accessible if you don't have the time. Aylin was very helpful in confirming a day tour we had organised as we had no phone and could not speak the language. I definitely hope I make it back to Istanbul and Aylin's loft again.

All'inizio il posto è un po' difficile da trovare (da Sabiha Gokcen) ma dopo un giorno ci accorgemmo che l'appartamento è situato in una ottima zona: si tratta del cuore di Beyoglu Istanbul, con tantissimi ristoranti, bar, negozi; c'è anche l'Hotel inizio novecento dove soggiornava Agata Christie! Posto stupendo! La fermata Sishane della Metr (Website hidden by Airbnb) minuti, e la linea del tram T1 è vicina. Il nostro soggiorno è stato bellissimo, nessun problema, e spero di tornare di nuovo. Istanbul è una città affascinante e l'appartamento di Aylin è perfetto per visitarla!

  Comments: Aylin is a great host. She was very warm and communicative throughout our stay and helped us to schedule airport pick-ups with a local car service. It works out cheaper and easier than taxis or other services one might book. The flat is well decorated and maintained. The only downside is a slightly musty odor around the bathroom. It's in a great location and very comfy, and you won't be in the flat enough to worry about that since here is so much to do close by and across the city. It's well worth the price.

  Comments: I had my best stay so far. Aylin's place felt much more like a luxury hotel then an apartment. The location was superb. Close to almost any intresting place but also very close to places from where you can catch transportation to places of interest that are more far away. The bed was very comfortable, shops for small needs were steps away and Aylin was very friendly and helpful during all my stay. When i return to beautiful istanbul again i would love to stay in Aylin's place again without hasistation.

The location is excellent. Easy walks to the Golata Tower area and Tacsim but also only a short taxi ride from the center of the city with all the famous sites. The apartment has all the amenities you would want and was very (Website hidden by Airbnb) has a nice view of the Golden Horn. Check out was very easy.The area is very safe. Walking around the neighborhood at night was easy and safe. All in all a great place to stay when you visit Istanbul.

  Comments: Was soll ich groß sagen? Die Bewertungen sprechen für sich. Mein Erster Ausflug nach Istanbul und ich war vorher etwas unsicher: Ist die Lage gut? Brauche ich weit um die ganzen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erreichen? Sichere Lage? Ruhig? Im nachhinein: Besser geht's nicht. Man ist zu Fuß in 5min am Taksim Platz und Co., wo all die Geschäfte und Restaurants sind. Man muss wirklich nur eine Straße hochlaufen. Von dort aus fährt auch die Metro. Ich bin abends meist gegen Mitternacht rum heim und es war alles sicher. Immer sind irgendwo Touristen unterwegs, sodass man nie das Gefühl hat, als sei man in einer dunklen Gasse oder sonstiges. Vom Zimmer aus hört man nichts. Man kann wirklich in Ruhe entspannen und auch sonst sieht es aus wie auf den Bildern. Sat-TV sei Dank muss man nicht einmal abends auf die dt. Sender verzichten :) Aylin ist unglaublich nett und hat mir vorab und auch vor Ort sehr weitergeholfen mit Tipps und generell. Ich weiß definitiv, wo ich das nächste Mal wieder hingehen werde.

  Comments: Die Unterkunft war toll, alles entsprach den Bildern. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig aber dennoch sehr Zentral zur Metro Station und zur Istiklal Caddesi. Die Gastgeberin hat uns den Transfer vom und zum Flughafen organisiert und hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Die Unterkunkt kann ich nur empfehlen!

  Comments: Irem was a fantastic host she answered my (Hidden by Airbnb) messages pretty much instantly and even made us a reversation for a restaurant on our first night. She also arranged the taxi pick up service to and from the apartment which was great (Irem you need to find out who drove us back to the airport and always request him because he was hilarious). The flat was super clean and the bed and pillows were like a soft cloud of comfiness after our long walks exploring the city. It was quiet too which in a crazy, bustling place like Istanbul was a god send, with several tiny conveníance shops just round the corner. The location was perfect and just what we prefer when we travel- a quiet residential neighbourhood a stones throw away from the lively main shopping street, istiklal caddesi and near the bohemian Karakoy. This side of the city has the best shopping, restaurants and bars so was great to return here in the evenings. I'll definitely use Irems place next time I visit this amazing city :)

  Comments: If you have a chance to visit Istanbul surely you have to stay on Irem's place. It is very comfortable, clean, has a nice interior and the most important thing is very near the crowd. You can go to Istiklal street by feet, literally. There is a metro station named Shishane about 200 metres from the loft, so you can travel to many places thereafter. Very nice place. 5 out of 5.

  Comments: I've spend three days with my wife in Istanbul. We had a really good time in the Irem apartment. Everything was very good organized. Even if we unfortunately didn't have privilege to meet Irem in person, we didn't have any problems to check in, or after that. Irem was always available over (Hidden by Airbnb) for us, and she responds always very quickly. She did even organize our transport from airport on the first day, and to the airport on the last day. Thank you very much for a very nice apartment and for a nice time for us in Istanbul. I would always recommend this apartment to my friends and colleagues in Istanbul.

I would say that initially it's location was hard to find but is in a very safe neighbourhood. Our taxi driver could not pinpoint it exactly - I would advise giving Irems phone number to the taxi driver for instructions. Overall great place to stay when in Istanbul, highly recommended.

It was a wonderful, clean apartment with nice touches of small bottles of amenities like shampoo etc. Very cosy place that made us look forward to going home at night. Side note that the wifi was slightly wonky at times, it took a bit of patience to connect and reconnect but it was a small issue! Great location - close to sishane walking / shopping district, cafes and clubs and pubs all within the area. Amazing amazing time. We even walked to Taksim square :)

  Comments: I stayed at this place for three nights and found it to be very clean, comfortable and generally well situated in-between Taksim Sq and Galata Tower. The wi-fi worked, but was a little slow for downloading work files, but otherwise was a good spot to work from. This is my send time in Istanbul this year and I would recommend this place to anyone.

She also arranged an airport transfer for us and let us pay her back at our convenience. She is a lovely person and that shines through in her work. The flat was clean and had everything you need and was in walking distance to İstiklal St. The locals were also very friendly.   Comments: The room is a bit smaller than what it looks like on the photos, but that is totally unimportant, because you will get a very clean, bright and comfortable place with everything you need. We liked that the place is somewhat hidden from the crowd, yet you only need 10 mins on relaxed foot to get to Galata tower and ~45 mins to get to Sultanahmet. For those who enjoy their walks it is definitely the place to rent. Irem as a host is very polite, friendly and helping. I would totally recommend staying at this place if you are: couple, like to walk, dont really need parties and noise, enjoy and respect clean conditions. Transportation is close, plenty of coffeeshops to start your day in the area.

  Comments: You can’t find elsewhere better than Irem’s place for your stay in Istanbul. Irem’s place make you feel like home but with a hotel standard. The room is exactly like what you see from the photos. The room is modern, clean and has everything you need. It is also very close to the Istiklal Street with few minutes walk. The bed and pillow is so comfortable which I think is much better than many high end hotel. The only flaw is that the heater take some time to heat up water after one shower and there’s some weird smell coming from the kitchen. Other than that, everything is perfect for the price you pay. Highly recommended!!!

  Comments: Irem booked a Transfer at the Airport for us, which worked out perfectly. The location of the apartment is very close to the center and there are amazing restaurants for dinner or dessert right around the apartment, which my boyfriend and I really liked! A few downsides were the disgusting smell in the apartment which lasted the whole stay and the low water pressure in the shower. The check-in and check- out worked without any problem and Irem booked reservations at restaurants for us, whenever we asked her to. Since our flight was in the afternoon but check out is at 11am, Irem offered us a secure space to leave our luggage, so we didn't have to carry it around and enjoy the last few hours. The bed wasn't super comfortable especially since it was two beds just placed next to each other, so the gap in between was a bit annyoing and uncomfortable. Last but not least the apartment seems very safe and we had an amazing stay in Istanbul.

  Comments: We have had a good time at Irem’s place. The apartment is furnished as shown in the pictures and the kitchen is equipped with the basics for preparing a meal. We only used it for preparing food for our baby for this it was sufficient. Also the restaurants around are quiet to good to spent too much time at home ask Irem for restaurant recommendations; she has very good onces!

The apartment is located a few minutes from the heart of Beyoğlu district and in a very quiet and safe area. It is the perfect size for 2 people. It will be enough to describe the situation of this apartment. We couldn’t satay more than 30 minutes because of the smell. We call Airbnb they told us to stay at any coffee shop, until they solve our problem. Once we send them the picture, they approve the cancellation right away. AC not working. Nothing was correct, as they describe on the listing

Drei kleine Kritikpunkte haben wir: 1. die Toilettenspülung war praktisch nicht vorhanden und wir mussten mit einen Eimer Wasser nachhelfen (soll laut Gastgeberin sofort repariert werden) 2. es ist etwas feucht und modrig in der Wohnung 3. es fehlen Insektenschutzgitter an den Fenstern, wir kämpften Nachts mit Stechmücken Wie gesagt, insgesamt waren wir trotzdem zufrieden! Kann man weiter empfehlen.

Negative point was that we had ants in the bathroom, coming through a hole in the bathroom. We solved the problem by ourselves because there was no answer from Irem. However, before our arrival she was very attentive and spontaneously organized a transport for us from the airport to the apartment which was very nice.
