  Comments: Great place. Couldn't have been better. The apt is situated in residential area which gives you piece and quite time at night, at the same time it takes two subway stops to get to the razzle dazzle of the city. Biray was very nice and helpful at all times. Clean and charming place to be at one of the busiest cities in the world. I would highly recommend the place without any hesitations.

  Comments: Biray has been the key to this wonderful trip in Istanbul. First of all the place was very clean and comfy, great location which is only two station away from central but you can get a sense where the local lives. The price is a bargain. She is the most warm and helpful host ever. Gives great advices and insights of the city. Because of her we fell in love with Istanbul and will definitely go back again. Thank you Biray! xx

  Comments: The room was spacious and with lots of light. The bed was confortable and the room has enough place to put your travel belongins The appartment is not far from Istambul main turistic attractions but at the same time located in a quiet neighborhood. Biray was very helpful and gave us good advices about places to go in Istambul and around. We had a great time!

  Comments: Biray was on holiday while I was at her home, but she was kind enough to let me stay anyway. Her flat is sunny and spacious and her cat is absolutely darling. Everything is in good working order as far as kitchen and bathroom go. Her home is close to Sisli metro and also within walking distance of the Mecidiyekoy metrobus, which is very convenient if you want to bypass the crowds in Taksim and Sultanahmet. The main road has lots of little cafes with a variety of dishes to choose from, and Istanbul Cevahir shopping mall is right across from the metro station. The neighborhood does close up in the late evening, so be alert if you're walking alone at night (which is applicable to most places in Turkey). Excellent location, generous hostess.

  Comments: I stayed at Biray's apartment for four nights while she was on vacation. Her cat is very friendly, and the building itself is located in a wonderful neighborhood, within easy walking distance of a metro station. The room is full of natural light and the bed is very comfortable. Biray was easy to contact, even while she was away. In short, I had a great time.

  Comments: Great Host! Biray Anil helped us a lot when needed, she introduced us to her friends for other advice and to get to know istanbul better. The appartement is spacious and the room is comfortable. The flat is well located, nice neighbourhood, everything you need is around the corner, easy to go to other places of interest, and just 5 min walk from the biggest shopping mall!!

  Comments: Biray was such a sweet host. My boyfriend and I rented her room for one week, and had an awesome time. She has a very loving cat, a lovely room with lots of space, and a laid back attitude that makes you feel at home in her home. We enjoyed some good conversations with her, as she is very intelligent, and were also still able to enjoy a lot of time alone. Her apartment is the perfect size for renting, the location was great, and I would definitely recommend this space to anyone travelling to Istanbul.

  Comments: Biray's place is very cozy and perfectly located if you want to experience some true Istanbul everyday life, not only tourist smash hits. It is not in the very center, which is great to avoid noice and millions of tourists, but again very close to Taxim (2 metro stops, around 30 min. walk) and full of local shops, restaurants and all you might need. Biray and Zeytin (her cat) were great hosts, friendly, helpful and warm, and we are very much recommending their place for having a lovely time in this lovely city. Tatjana & Bosko

  Comments: My wife and I stayed in Anil's apartment for five nights. She always helped us with the transport choice to get to a particular place in Istanbul. She also advised us which restaurants and cafes are worth a visit. There is a comfortable double bed in the room. The building is located about 700 meters from the subway station Şişli (two subway stops from Taksim Square). There is a large shopping center near the metro station. On the way to the apartment you can find a lot of cafes, pastry shops, as well as several small supermarkets.

  Comments: Biray was a most accommodating host. We were able to check in in the afternoon (she came home during her lunch hour to pass us the keys!) and she allowed us to use her laptop when we had problems booking air tickets on our mobile phones. The room was clean and tidy (the rest of the house less so) and the location of the apartment is great, close to many eateries and supermarkets. You could walk to Taksim too in 20-30 minutes.

  Comments: Our week long stay at Biray's apartment was absolutely fantastic. Biray is a really friendly, kind and intelligent girl with a great taste in movies and literature. We had amazing conversations with her and we felt right at home from the start. Biray was away most of the time, but always really quick to respond; as a result, we had the whole apartment to ourselves, which worked out great for us since as we had to work from home during the day. The personable Zeytin, Biray's cat, was an additional bonus to keep us company, as well as her cousin who stayed over on occasion too. The apartment was in a perfect neighborhood, with lots of local shops with fresh produce and food options nearby. The taxim square and Istiklal Cadessi were only a 25min walk away. A friendly host, great location and certainly a memorable stay.

  Comments: I will start my review with the wise Turkish people's saying: Cevahir is Istanbul, Istanbul is Cevahir! The thing that Biray didn't emphasize enough is that her neighbour is only the best shopping-entartainment mall in the entire world - Cevahir! :D On a side note, there really isn't anything that a guest could complain about while staying at Biray's residence. The location is perfect, since it's also 5-10 minutes on foot to metro, that gets you to Taksim in just 2 stops. The room is nice, and so is the toalet, kitchen, and the balcony. Only bit of an issue can be a WiFi which reaches to around the door of the room. Regarding the hosts, Biray and her cat were very considerate and polite. We didn't get much of a chance to get to know Biray very well, but she certainly is a professional host and always ready to give you useful advices and insights of her city. Overall, for the price we payed, this place is a true bargain.

It's in the center of the Istanbul and you have everything you need - shops, fish markets, mall, places to eat, metro and bus stations. Apartment is worm and cozy, fully equipped kitchen, WiFi.   Comments: We had a very great stay at Biray's place. We found the apartments location close to a metro line to make all areas we wanted to see very easy to reach. The room was comfortable and her cat made it even more cozy. Most of all, Biray was an exceptionally kind host by helping us out with some flight scheduling issues we encountered, by calling the airline in turkish, for example.   Comments: My boyfriend and I stayed with Biray for a week during New Years and we had a blast! Biray's apartment is located in the European area of Istanbul and there is both a Carrefour and a Migros grocery store close by along with various other shops, so it is certainly convenient. Biray gave us great suggestions for restaurants to try in the area as well as where to go to celebrate NYE. Her cat is adorable as well!

  Comments: I with my friend spent nine wonderful days visiting Biray. After almost 20 hour of traveling we arrived in cozy flat where was all set for comfortable rest. Every evening after our walks we met with gentle black girl (cat) Zeytin. There is bus stop, metro and metrobus near home, you can reach almost any place in town, include Old city. Nearby is a lot of different shops where you can buy anything, from food to whatever you fantasy can imagine. One of unexpected pleasant thing for us was Cevahir AVM (biggest shopping mall of Europe) which is nearby too. Our host, Biray, is charming, graceful girl with intresting look at things. She is great companion, we can just listen for her fascinating speech. Thank to Biray for a warm welcome, Kadıköy tour, wonderful evening with wine, and for essential gift. Special thanks for helped us to get acquainted with the magnificent city Istambul. See you again!

  Comments: Birary was a fantasic host who was great with communication from the beginning, providing directions to her place easily in English and Turkish. She also provided valuable insight into local and distant attractions and transport options. Her place was comfortable and spacious and we felt very welcomed. Her cat (Zeytin) is very friendly, often coming up for pats and rubs. The room is soundproof and Sisli has everything you need; food, shops, etc. The people in Sisli are also warm and receptive of people who can't speak English. Transport is close and runs frequently to get you into Old Town. The experience was fantastic overall and cannot be recommended more highly.
