  Comments: Wohnung: Die Wohnung schaut genau so aus wie auf den Bildern. Sie ist frisch renoviert und man fühlt sich bereits beim betreten der Wohnung wohl und zu Hause. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat einwandfrei geklappt und war sehr unkompliziert. Bei auftretenden Fragen konnten wir Vanessa sofort telefonisch erreichen und sie hat uns geholfen. Wir konnten sogar unsere Koffer noch in einem der Apartments lassen, so dass wir diese erst am Abend abholen brauchten und nicht am letzten Tag mit durch die Stadt ziehen mussten. Lage: Die Lage ist hervorragend. Zu Fuß ist man überall innerhalb von 10 Minuten, egal ob zum Strand, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Rambla oder zur Metro. Cafés, Supermärkte und Apotheken sind in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Fazit: Bei der nächsten Barcelona-Reise werden wir eines der Zimmer von Vanessa und Daniel buchen. Preislich absolut angemessen und gerechtfertigt für den erbrachten Gegenwert!

  Comments: Nicely located and furnished flat. Neighbourhood is quiet and close to main attractions. Even though kitchen was nice and equipped, there were some basic things (such as olive oil or salt) missing. This may be the problem if you plan to stay for a short period of time.

  Comments: Vanesa est sympathique et surtout honnête ; juste avant que nous arrivions elle s'est rendue compte d'un problème d'eau chaude dans l'appartement et nous a immédiatement contacté pour s'excuser et nous proposer un appartement de rechange (d'ailleurs encore mieux que celui que nous avions loué initialement) Le lendemain le problème était résolu et nous avons pu, comme prévu, regagner notre appartement. L'appartement est conforme aux photos ; neuf, moderne, agréable, équipé... et très bien placé puisque, outre de nombreuses stations de métro à proximité, vous pouvez presque tout faire à pied. Enfin, concernant les modalités (remise des clefs, état des lieux...), Vanesa nous a fait confiance donc tout s'est fait très simplement et rapidement, ce qui est appréciable après un long trajet. Merci encore.

  Comments: L'appartement était très bien, propre et super bien placé (visite de la Sagrada Familia à pieds ). Les photos correspondent vraiment à la réalité. Vanessa a été très réactive lorsque nous avons besoin d'elle, merci ! Un petit bémol : bien lire les conditions de réservation dans le descriptif de l'appartement, apparemment les propriétaires à Barcelone ont l'habitude de demander des suppléments assez importants (50 €) pour le check in tardif et le check out très matinal. Ce n'était par contre pas mentionné dans le détail du tarif annoncé par AirBnB.

  Comments: Estuvimos en el apartamento de Vanesa y Daniel durante dos días. El apartamento es exactamente igual que en las fotografías, a nuestro parecer muy cómodo y agradable. Pudimos estar como en casa. Tuvimos algún problema y nos lo solucionaron enseguida y muy amablemente. Muy contentos del trato que nos dieron. El apartamento esta muy bien situado y tiene todo lo necesario para pasar unos días en Barcelona.

  Comments: Vanessa and Daniel made it very easy to get the keys and drop them off afterwards. The place was cosy and just the right size for us. It was super clean and made us feel like we lived in Barcelona for a short time! The area was also very quiet but super close to sagrada familia. We would recommend it.

  Comments: Great apartment and location. Vanesa welcomed us on arrival and showed us around her lovely apartment. The apartment itself is lovely and exactly how it looks in the pictures. Be aware that the apartment walls are a bit thin so if you're a light sleeper your afternoon nap might be disturbed by neighbours going about their day. That wasn't a problem for us though and we would definitely stay again.

  Comments: Vanesa met us right on time and showed us around the apartment. She told us about the local area, and was smiley and friendly throughout. We stayed for 8 days, and needed nothing else from her as the apartment was stocked exactly as described and there was a supermarket for all the food/drink we needed. Neighbourhood was quiet and residential (not very touristy), and had great bus and metro links for the beach (we were staying for Primavera Festival) and the older city. We walked and rode bikes everywhere. Neighbours in the block were a little noisy, which wasn't great for our strange sleep schedule during the festival, but nothing some earplugs couldn't fix. Little balcony was lovely for breakfast.

  Comments: The apartment is great! Location is convenient since it is quite close to the metro station. Also there are several markets and cafes nearby for whatever is needed! Communication with Vanesa was very easy and even though we didn't meet, she arranged everything for our arrival to be as easy as possible.   Comments: Both Vanessa and Daniel were very welcoming hosts. Vanessa was helpful when directing us from the airport to the apartment, and Daniel met us at the apartment to show us around. The apartment was spotless and completely true to the photos shown on the website. It was in a great location, with lots of sites within walking distance. It was also very close to Tetuan Metro station which made exploring the whole of Barcelona very easy. I would highly recomend this apartment to others wishing to visit Barcelona.

  Comments: Hi all. Just stayed 6 nights at vanesa's and Daniel's apartment. Location of the apartment is good. 5 minutes walk to purple and yellow metro. Another good thing was the cleanness of the apartment. But. Those things were the only positive stuff. Here are the things that annoyed me. 1. In the photos, the apartment looks much bigger than it actually is. Its not that its small. Its just that the photos are not accurate. 2. I think its a minimum courtesy to have atleast a bottle of milk in the fridge and small bag of coffee for the new tenants. I was shocked to see totaly empty cupboards and only 4 rolls of toilet paper for the entire 6 nights for 2 adults. In general I dont think that the apartment is bad. I just think that for the amount of Euro we paid we should have been getting better service and better value for money which we didn't have.

  Comments: Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt für 5 Tage in Vanesas Appartement. Klimaanlage, Balkon, gut ausgestattete Küche und die gute Lage machen es zu einem perfekten Aufenthaltsort für einen Barcelona Trip. Für 2 Personen von der Größe her perfekt, für 4 etwas klein. Ruhige Nachbarschaft, supermarkt direkt um die ecke und zur nächsten ubahn station nur 5min zu fuß. Vanesa war sehr flexibel mit der schlüssel übergabe und jederzeit erreichbar. Wir können diese unterkunft für städtetrips sehr empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

  Comments: I stayed at Vanesa&Daniel's apartment for 3 nights. Communication with the host has been very easy throughout the reservation procedure and on my arrival in Barcelona. The flat is located in a quiet neighborhood of the city centre, very close to Plaça Tetuan and within walking distance from the central Plaça Catalunya. The closest underground station is Tetuan (Line 2). The apartment, that I found clean and tidy, is brand new and well decorated, as it appears in the pics; it is also quite bright and comfortable and perfect for single travellers or a couple. It has a well furnished kitchen (with big fridge, microwave and whatever you need to prepare food and eat in the apartment). The wi-fi connection and the A/C worked without problems. I really enjoyed my stay in this apartment and I definitely would recommend it to my friends and to Airbnb Community!

  Comments: Bonjour, nous avons eu le plaisir d'effectuer un petit voyage à Barcelone, pour ce faire nous avons donc réservé ce petit appartement qui nous as séduit sur ses photos et ses commentaire élogieux. Chose étonnante pour une réservation AirBnB, nous avons dû fournir un grand nombre de renseignements qui sont habituellement demandés lors d'une réservation auprès d'un professionnel (N° de passeport, information personnelle ... ), y aurait-il une activité professionnelle cachée derrière ces annonces d'appartements particuliers ? ou Vanessa posséderait-elle, à elle seule une bonne dizaine d'appartements ? L'appartement est dans un bon quartier, et est correct mais un peu cher lors de notre location (109euros). Son emplacement est intéressant, situé dans la partie droite de l'eixample entre la vieille ville (gothique) et la Sagrada Famillia de Gaudi. le métro est à 5 minutes à pied du métro Tetuan. Une fois les clés remises, nous avons constaté que la fenêtre de la salle de bain menaçait de tomber si nous tentions de l'ouvrir ( fenêtre glissante ne glissant plus sur son rail), pire, la fenêtre de la chambre ne fermait pas du tout ! Ce qui est peu sécurisant au premier étage même si il ne faut pas tomber dans la paranoïa. Après appel et avoir expliqué le problème, la fenêtre a été réparée dans la matinée suivante par le frère de Vanessa. Autre point négatif, une odeur de relent d’égout se faisait sentir par vague même après aération de l'appartement en ouvrant ce qu'il était possible d'ouvrir, l'odeur revenait peu de temps après. Nous comprenons donc mieux pourquoi un désodorisant fraîcheur marine ainsi qu'un pot d’encens huilé était présent et actif avant notre arrivée. Le quartier n'est pas spécialement bruyant (pas de fêtards) mais l'appartement étant peu isolé et les locaux aimant parler fort et tard (3h du matin) nous avons était gênés 2 nuits sur les 5 passées sur place. La porte coulissante de la salle de bien ne permet pas une bonne isolation avec la pièce principale, laissant un jour de 5 cm dans le haut et semblant un peu fragile. Comment font les gens pour satisfaire leurs besoins sans ainsi en faire part à leur partenaire et je ne parle pas dans le cas ou il y a 4 personnes à résidence. Conclusions, un peu déçu de ce séjour en amoureux, légèrement entaché par ces mésaventures.

  Comments: We enjoyed our stay at BCN. The house was good and as described. Daniel was a wonderful host and explained things to get us started. Daniel and Vanesa were prompt in communication and we could co-ordinate easily. The house is in a central location and we could commute easily to the various sights in BCN. Fact, Not a Negative: Guests will have to climb a few steep stairs and is recommended to be attentive, especially if you have luggage. Will stay again if we get the chance. The area is great, very safe and close to some amazing sights, and with plenty of places to eat nearby - plus, there's a supermarket around the corner.   Comments: Muy buen departamento. Limpio, ordenado, bien equipado y muy bien ubicado (próximo a supermercados, restaurantes y metro). Óptimo para dos personas, o dos y un bebé, como nosotros. Recalco la responsabilidad de Vanesa para hacernos entrega de la llave y luego devolver un dinero mal cobrado. La única sugerencia, tratar de proponer una forma de coordinar la entrega de la llave no sólo por teléfono, ya que quienes no somod de Europa es posible que no tengamos servicio de móvil.

  Comments: Checkin was super simple. We were able to check in a bit earlier with no problem since our flight got in earlier than the checkin time. The location was easy to get to most places and felt very safe. There is a nice Argentinian restaurant across the street and the couple that runs it is very nice.

The appartment is well located, in the middle of barcelona. Everything is near: Supermarket, Metro and even Taxi cab. All the main touristic attractions were within 15 mn.   Comments: Communication is excellent! Communication with the host was super easy and we were welcomed at our arrival. Our hosts also remained available for any problem we might had (but we didn't have any!) Location is perfect! The place is perfectly located to discover Barcelona and we spent a week walking all around and even when tired, it made more sense to walk back home then to take public transportation. There are also plenty of food stores around for your needs. Overall, I would recommend this place for anyone who wishes to discover Barcelona the right way!

Personally,i love the place due to the central location it offers from most of Barcelona's attractions. The trams and buses are just 3-4 min away. Overall,my experience with this place was 10/10. It was in a good location, very close to the metro station and within a walkable distance to many of the sites in Barcelona. Our only complaint was a strange smell coming into the apartment from the corridor but once we told them about it they offered to fix it straight away. Other than that it was truly a great apartment which all of us really loved.

  Comments: Nice apartment. Well-located close to Tetuan subway station or buses. A few restaurants around but so close walking distance to arc de triomphe or city center. A few blocks from Segrada Familia, not far running to Parc Güell. Walked to most of the places in the center (cathedral, market, Gothic Quarter...). Supermarkets available in walking distance too. The apartment itself was very functional for our party of two (one adult and one teenager). Stayed 5 nights. Sleeping needs were comfy. Possibility to cook were nice to have. Cool little balcony as well. Communication went very smoothly with the hosts. Got help with the keys upon arrival and then with the WiFi. No worries. A bit of annoyance was however the heavy bad smell when entering the apartment. We thought first it came from the bathroom but no. Mentioned this to the host, but nothing was done. A real pity as the apartment is very clean and nice but smell pretty bad. We were pretty cold as well, but after turn-in the radiators during all our stay while we were in the apartment, it went fine. Cold air was coming through the surrounding of the bedroom window which made it pretty chilly for the head. All-in-all a nice apartment, well-located and very functional.

  Comments: El apartamento es muy lindo, moderno y equipado igual a lo que se muestra en las fotos; tiene una muy buena ubicación, muy céntrica y bien conectado con algunos lugares para hacer el super o bien para ir a comer o beber algo cerca. Me estuve comunicando con Vanesa y siempre se mostró dispuesta y accesible; David nos recibió y nos dio indicaciones oportunas y valiosas para cada momento durante la estancia, el departamento también es muy limpio y todo se ve muy nuevo el único inconveniente es que tiene un ligero mal olor (como a cañería) y también nos tocó el inconveniente de que estaban en construcción/remodelación del departamento del otro lado del balcón y nos despertó muy temprano el ruido y la maquinaria empleada.

  Comments: Vanesa and Daniel's apartment was perfect for our 3 night stay. It is a short walk from the nearest metro stop and in walking distance of some attractions. We arrived on a Sunday so the supermarkets were closed but we managed to get some fresh fruit and veg from the local grocers around the corner. The actual apartment is very clean and has a toaster/kettle/microwave etc for your meals. The street outside is very quiet so there was no problem getting to sleep. I would definitely recommend the apartment for a short stay in Barcelona.

  Comments: This was a perfect place to stay for our 5-day trip to Barcelona. On a street that is quiet but busy enough to have lots of markets and restaurants very close by. Also only a short walk from multiple metro stops - making it very convenient to the major sights. Honestly, we mostly walked everywhere, and felt very safe doing so. The house is extremely clean, furnished with exactly what we needed. We would absolutely stay there again!

There are a lot of small supermarkets around to buy food for early breakfast in the apartment. There are a lot of restaurants across the street and within walking distance. For seafood lovers try 'LA PARADETA' (by Sagrada Familia), we also enjoyed Hungarian place 'Hungaryto'. Overall, we had a wonderful time in Barcelona!

The only thing which could be improved is the cleaningness of the appartment. There was still a lady shaver in the bathroom and the floors seemed not very well sweeped. But we were alocated tô a different apartment, we didn't realize at first because we are travelling a lot, in place after another, so we cant remember what it looks like. Vanessa offered us to change places but we were already installed and we asked for a discount in the city tax. The problem was the bad smell coming frim the plumbing, it was terrible, Vanessa even bought something to put in the drains but it didnt work. The whole time we stayed there we had to put up with the smell.

You can hear the air conditioning machines outside the bedroom window (which does not close very well). You can also hear the neighbors. Otherwise, nice, clean flat with everything you need for your stay. Close to nice restaurants and bars.

The only issue for me personally was the unreliability of the wifi which would disconnect continuously. I work online so it is needed. But if you are just here to enjoy the city and holiday it won't be any issue. I recommend this place.

  Comments: I was checked-in by their friend Mark, who spoke fluent English and gave me some great local guidance for my visit. The apartment is in a fantastic location, it's got 3 Metro stations a short walk away, for 3 different lines which makes it perfect for getting between Barcelona's sporadic sights. It's also got a lot of good places to eat within walking distance as well, from great value to fine dining. The apartment itself is nice, it has a balcony overlooking the back of other apartment buildings but it gets sun and is a pleasant place to eat your lunch or take your morning coffee. The kitchen is well equipped for a short-stay and had a small welcome pack of kitchen essentials which was a nice touch. The apartment does have an air conditioner but it's quite high up the wall of a spacious apartment so its effects are not entirely noticeable. I got better cooling by leaving the french doors open for a while when there was a breeze. The bathroom is perfectly fine, the toilet is in an alcove and can be a tight space for someone of my height (6ft 4). The bedroom is lovely, big and very comfortable bed (difficult to wake up in the morning!) and it has a window and blackout blinds which were very effective. The window is a great way to keep the bedroom cool at night.

We walked to Sagrada Familia, Barceloneta Beach, El Gothic...etc. The location was really ideal—there were great restaurants right across the street (our favorites are the Argentinian place and another place about two doors to its right...sorry, I forget the name but their seafood paella was amazing). The apartmrbt itself was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommended!!

  Comments: Fantastic location, very very cute apartment, and in the heat of summer in Barcelona, the AC was very appreciated. Beware that there is a late check-in fee after 9pm, as well as a tax on people staying, so we ended up paying about 60 euros additional on top of the original cost. Be aware also that walls are thin and sometimes the neighbors like to party into the wee hours of morning. The apartment seems newly renovated, and has high ceilings, very spacious, nice couch, good shower, etc. Los Platitos, right around the corner, has amazing tapas. Very much enjoyed the stay!

  Comments: Photos of the apartment are an accurate depiction of the place! Good location (walking distance to main attractions) with many surrounding restaurants. If you are a light sleeper, I would suggest ear plugs. The noise from the common stairwell can wake someone up; closing the bedroom door reduces most of the noise, but also blocks A/C circulation (for those staying in summer months). Comfortable bed. Overall - great value and a really nice sized space for two people. We were happy with our stay :).

Vanessa was also very accommodating for our check in and had quick and open communication when we arrived in Barcelona to get us checked in to her AirBnB. The flat is very clean as they have cleaners who most definitely clean between each visitor and do a very thorough job. If you get cold easily, there is a space heater available as well.
