  Comments: My girlfriend and I loved this apartment. It is beautifully appointed and located in a quiet neighborhood, but still close to downtown Barcelona/lots of restaurants/bars. Not as touristy as other places. In an elevator building with a doorman. There were some scratches on the walls but otherwise everything is really beautiful. The shower is very strong and hot; the bed is very comfortable. There was a little confusion when I arrived at the apartment, but once I got in (after about 20 minutes) everything was super. I can highly recommend this apartment.

  Comments: This went beyond my expectations. I visited Barcelona on business and was disapointed that I couldn't spend more time in the apartment. It reminded me of a top class new York penthouse. All the upmarket comforts I could ask for in a quiet yet perfectly located neighbourhood. A quick pleasant walk to the metro and the newly renovated diagonal street which in itself is beautiful. The apartment was clean and everything worked very well. I had no reason to call the hosts at any stage. Thank you for the stay and I will definitely be using this place as my base in Barcelona in future.

  Comments: Beautifull apartment, nice location, however not the place if youre gonna have a party - not exactly soundproof walls, and the neighboors arent too happy with music in the late hours. Still, we had a great stay. Oh yeah, the A/C could have worked better, but i guess thats more the humid weathers fault than the A/C's. All in all, very reccomendable!

  Comments: My wife arrived on Saturday afternoon at the apartment and it was extremely hot. The landlord associate noted the same thing and said the space should cool down. She stated the fans and air conditioning are extremely loud throughout the day and would not recommend staying in the apartment in the afternoon (not an optimal situation if you are with a young child). After a full day of waiting, the apartment temperature got worse. It was so hot it was impossible to be in the space for more than (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) minutes as the vents were blowing out heated air. We texted the landlords associate and immediately received a response back of "oops!" She quickly noted nothing could be done until Monday. The responses were so immediate we began to wonder if this was already an ongoing issue. I was arriving later in the day with our toddler and told my wife to go to a hotel as the space was not habitable. I called the landlord who informed us he owned the property since Feb and this was their first summer. I explained we only had a few more days and I would like a refund which he agreed to immediately. It seemed the landlord was going to resolve the situation with a full refund but THIS DID NOT HAPPEN. After 10 days, I had not receive a refund so I called the landlord. He stated he was going to refund my money outside of airbnb as it was complex and asked for my (Hidden by Airbnb) account. When this did not happen I called airbnb who informed me refunds outside airbnb are not recommended policy. Airbnb is now involved for a resolution. Just to mention the apartment looked very good aesthetically but there was no door on the bathroom which is actually upstairs in the bedroom. This may be uncomfortable for most from a privacy standpoint. There were also some exposed wires in the bathroom looking as though there were some lighting renovations being done. Overall, beautiful apartment but not habitable in the Barcelona summer heat with the broken air conditioner. No matter how beautiful this apartment looks if it can not be cooled down because it is on the top floor it is not a penthouse it is an attic.We did not spend even one night in this apartment and look forward to providing all the information we have to airbnb to hopefully get the promised refund.

  Comments: The stay in Barcelona,was amazing!!! Marissa met me within minutes with keys, and so much valuable information. And if needed was avalible very quickly with just a phone call away. The apartment was just as described, I give it a five star rating. Large comfortable bed, beautiful bathroom,and a kitchen fully stocked to make the best foods. Thank you so much for making our stay, one we will remember for a long time to come.

  Comments: We had an enjoyable experience at the apartment. It's ulta modern and very clean and situated in Gracia, which is a less touristy, but interesting and quaint neighborhood in Barcelona with a lot of character. We found the air conditioning adequate, even though Barcelona was experiencing a heat wave during our visit. The only drawback was that the small deck was unusable because the AC unit was located there and was blowing out hot air. This would not be an issue if the AC was not being used, or if sitting on a deck is not important to you. All in all it was a very positive stay and we were glad to have chosen this property.

  Comments: I can honestly say I have never experienced a smoother check-in before. The place is very well located to all main attraction spots. Willem and Gonzalo were incredibly helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend this apartment to anyone. Also furniture nd layout were impressive especially the lighting system. Awesome overall experience

  Comments: Excfellent apartment, clean and great location. Had a helpful welcoming and was exactly as described. Would definitely recommend it as the location is close enough to the city without incurring all the noise!
