  Comments: I am so thankful to Sasha and his wife for hosting us so well. He met me at the subway stop a few blocks from his apartment, and walked me there, showing his favorite places to eat along the way, and showing how nice and family friendly the neighborhood is. We could count on them to help choosing the best route to the airport and around the city using the public transportation. They would be available by phone to give directions in case we needed, and this was a great support for me because I have the poorest sense of direction ever. We loved staying there and would stay again. .

  Comments: Staying with Sasha and his wife was a perfect idea! They were so kind with us, friendly and they helped us all the time with everything we need. The room was so comfortable and clean. And the neighborhood is so convenient. Close to the subway and central park. Also they were very flexible with our checkout and they help us to get to the airport in an easy way. Sasha's wife made us an amazing applecake with icecream and invited us with delicious tea. Of course we highly recommend it. Thanks for everything and hope to see you soon!

  Comments: We had a great stay at Sasha's. He had some awesome advise on what to do in NYC that you cannot find on tourist sites plus had the perfect location to commute downtown easily or simply head into Central Park. The room was comfortable with great natural light and aircon. Sasha accommodated our checking in at a late hour (organised ahead of time). Would definitely stay there again.

  Comments: It was my first experience with airbnb and i was lucky to find such incredible hosts as Sasha and his wife, Vika. They are very easy-going, friendly , helpful and hospitable. My friend and I just fell in love with their pet, such a cute and lovable dog. The location is great, easy to get everywhere you want. It is close to the subway and there are also many different places where you can find everything you need. The room was nice and cosy. I will definitely stay at their place again if i go to NYC and I for sure recommend them.

  Comments: Obviously, it's a fantastic location, right between the two parks. Subway is just a block away. The neighborhood is safe enough and also the building (it has a doorman) and I didn't worry leaving my laptop there. Sasha and Vicky are really nice and helpful (getting around, recommendations etc). Also, thei're very interesting people who are fun to talk to. They keep the apartment very tidy and clean. Their dog Jax is well trained and super friendly (and funny). I definitely recommend staying there.

  Comments: Sasha was an excellent host - he's friendly, flexible and helpful. I was in town for meetings and was looking for a quiet and comfortable place today. Sasha was very flexible with my arrival and departure time and gave excellent help in navigating the New York subway. Everything turned out as expected, the room was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. On top of this Sacha made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. He was very friendly and was open to share his personal stories and opinions with me - I really enjoyed talking with him. That said, when I needed my own space, Sasha knew it and let me do my own thing. Jax is an incredibly well trained and happy dog. I would absolutely stay at Sasha's place if I visit New York again!

  Comments: Sasha and his wife, Vika, made us feel very welcome in their comfortable flat in its wonderful location close to Central Park. When we arrived, Sasha met us at the subway station and showed us the way to his flat. After giving us tea, he took us on a long walk and showed us the sights in the area. The flat was clean and quiet and the room was just as shown in the picture. Thank you for everything, Sasha. We would certainly recommend Sasha's place to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay in New York.

  Comments: Sasha's location was perfect for us. We were making a quick trip to NYC, with the purpose of walking everywhere and seeing as much as we could. He was great at emails before we arrived, and when we got there he spent an hour walking us around the neighborhood, showing us some sites, and dropping us off at the door of our first museum! The room was exactly as pictured. On the second night his wife made us tea and shared some treats and we stayed up chatting. Thanks for a great trip to NYC!

He told me what metro lines to take when I was lost, gave me advice to where I should eat, and where I should go. He's the friendliest, the most helpful host. Sasha picked me up at the subway station, answered all of my myriad questions, and his wife gave me a warm bowl of soup (so great after a long day).   Comments: When we check air bnb places to stay we feel comfortable with the past reviews and book the place, I read the reviews and booked Sasha's place and it was exactly what the reviews said and what Sasha describe his place and surroundings. I have stayed in quite a few and without doubt he is the friendliest. He is very helpful and enjoyed the conversations, the room was clean and good enough and he went to the extent of fixing a new A/C even when I didn't complain about it. Great location, quiet, clean and value for money in NYC. I would recommend to all and I would go back again to stay at Sasha's place.

  Comments: Sasha was a great host! My boyfriend and I stayed at his place for 11 days and it was great. The room is very spacious and the apartment is very close to the subway, Central Park, and lots of stores and restaurants. Sasha was very helpful and showed us the area while we walked with his dog. His wife Vika was also very nice and made the best tea and pies. If we every get the opportunity to go back to New York, we would definitely stay with Sasha.

  Comments: We had a really great week staying with Sasha and his wife. They made us feel very welcome from the start and gave us tips for exploring the city, aswell as taking us to Jacobs Pickles, a great local restaurant. The room was very clean and as described, so too was the bathroom. The location is perfect for exploring New York, with the subway only a 2 min walk and Central Park 2 blocks away. We were sad to leave and would love to come back and stay there again.

  Comments: We could not have asked for a better first airbnb experience than we had with Sasha. He greeted us right on time, took us for a tour of his neighborhood, and was more than welcoming. His flat is clean and cozy, and not to mention in the best location near the park, tons of restaurants and the subway. Sasha even let us leave our bags behind as we had a late flight the day of our check out, it was a really great stay and I would definitely do it again!

Il n'a pas hésité à nous donner les bonnes adresses New Yorkaises et à partager quelques moments avec nous ! La description de la chambre correspondait parfaitement à ce qui est donné sur le site (propre et agréable quoi que un peu bruyante mais c'est le propre de NYC). Nous avions même notre salle de bain privative. Agréablement surprise par le quartier qui est très vivant (plein de bons restos et de magasins hipster), central Park est à 5 minutes à pieds de plus le quartier est très bien desservi en transports (10 minutes de la 5th avenue) Nous recommandons vivement l'appartement de Sasha et nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

  Comments: The description of the accommodation's was very accurate. The host Sasha is an absolutely amazing person. His dog Jax is just as wonderful and his wife was very fun and hospitable, always asking if we would like some coffee or tea. Sasha helped us get fast seating as a popular local eater, willingly toured us around central park and other areas, and all around exceeded our expectations. He helped with directions and recommendations as this was our first time really touring the city. The neighborhood is fantastic and there are dogs EVERYWHERE! We were in puppy heaven (we always miss our dogs when on vacation). It is also very conveniently placed by the 1 line. :-) All around we plan to definitely use Sasha again next time we are in the city.

  Comments: Sasha & Viktoriya are excellent hosts and their apartment is in a great location in Upper Manhattan, great accessibility to the rest of the island. Sasha is intelligent and charismatic. I enjoyed listening to his story as a Russian immigrant and his experience serving in the US Air Force and his travels around the world. Jax is their very friendly dog, a wonderful part of the home. It was awesome to be back in New York and I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be hosted by Sasha.

  Comments: The apartment was well located on the upper west side near the subway. Sasha was very friendly and hospitable, and he came and met us at the subway stop and offered us suggestions on where to go. The room was fine but not great and the bed was uncomfortable and squeaky because it had some sort of plastic covering. The house smelled like the dog. Though the part of the experience that turned us off the most was that we were quietly talking in our room at night and we were shushed and told to be quiet because her mother was sleeping. We were told that there was no curfew and then from that point on we didn't feel comfortable in the house.

  Comments: Värden var väldigt hjälsam. Han mötte mig vid närmsta tunnelbanestation och hade gett tips på hur jag skulle ta mig dit från flygplatsen. Sasha och hans fru var mycket vänliga och lätta att ha att göra med under hela vistelsen. Kvarteret kändes tryggt att vara i även sent på kvällen. Nattetid störde trafiken en aning, i övrigt var allt bra!

  Comments: Sasha was kind enough to pick us up at the subway station and walked with us to his apartment. A very kind and hospitable man. We stayed there for four nights and didn't see him and his wife much during our stay because we were in town most of the time. The apartment was okay, but not very clean. The dog was well-behaved and playful, but his hairs were all-over. The location is very good! Nice safe neighborhood, lots of restaurants nearby, super close to the subway and 2 blocks to central park. The price was decent as well.

  Comments: My cousin and I were looking for a place to stay for a couple of days at the last minute and we were so lucky to have found this listing! Sasha was very quick with his replies and was very accommodating. He was very friendly and had the cutest dog. The room was perfect for two people and it was very quiet, in a nice neighborhood with plenty of great coffee shops and restaurants in walking distance. We really felt like were home. We were sad to have only stayed a couple of days but definitely recommend him!

  Comments: Although my trip to NYC this time was short, I couldn't have asked for a better place to lay my head. Sasha's room was exactly perfect for my short stay - comfortable bed with good pillows, cold A/C, warm shower and right around the corner from the Metro. I'm only sad I didn't get more time to chat with Sasha, his lovely wife and their adorable dog! I felt very safe and welcome, and on the last morning, I got a lovely cup of coffee with some Russian chocolates. I'd love to stay here again.

  Comments: We (a girlfriend and me) stay for 4 nights/ 5 days at Sashas apartment. The location of the apartment is pretty good. You have only 3 minutes walking to the metro station of lines 1,2,3 who drives really good for typical tourist attractions. Also you need only 5-10min walk to the central park. Sashas room was similar as on the pictures. The room has only a desk, a little site board and the bed, but this was enough for our purposes. The room was very clean and we got towels of Sasha. Further he and his wife and also his dog are really nice and helpful and Sasha told us about really nice not typical tourist places in the City. Our Facit, we would everytime again stay at Sashas apartment!

Along with their personality, Sasha and Vikki's home provided the perfect space for our base of operations, boasting spacious living quarters, a lovely bed, and ample storage. Sasha was extremely friendly, showed us around the apartment and gave us food recommendations when we arrived. I ended up having to do some work during my stay and the apartment was quiet and comfortable for that. There was a table with two chairs and a full bed in the room. Keep in mind you are sharing space and a bathroom/shower with another couple. Plus their adorable dog Jackson, who was a welcome added bonus. Would stay here again!

Metropolitana a 2 minuti a piedi l'unica cosa che posso dire di negativo della casa è la pulizia del bagno tutto il resto è ottimo. Sasha il padrone di casa e molto alla mano e qualsiasi problema che hai puoi chiedere tranquillamente e lui ti darà tutte le spiegazioni.
