As nice as the photos appear, its even nicer in person. The location is ideal. In the heart of Leblon (the most upscale neighborhood in Rio), within minutes walking to the best bars, restaurants and of course the beach. Renata could not be more helpful and is always available to answer questions. As a former resident of Rio and a regular Airbnb user, I highly recommend Renata's apartment.

Fantastic location, two blocks from the beach, great delicatessen across the street, access to several banks (both local and international) within a block, and just a few blocks from all the great restaurants on Rua dias ferreira.   Comments: This is a lovely apartment, and Renate was a great host! The apartment is only a few blocks from the beach in a very pleasant and open part of Leblon. It's stylish and modern and looks exactly like the photos posted on airbnb, which in my experience is uncommon. The kitchen was well supplied, and the washing machine worked fine. Best of all, the internet connection was quite stable. Renate went out of her way to help us, including printing out for us some tickets to visit the Christ statue. She is a very friendly and generous person. The apartment is an excellent value, and I am definitely planning to come back. I hope that this very positive review doesn't make it hard to book Renata's apartment in the future!

  Comments: Thank you Airbnb - i found accommodation AND made a friend for life. Renata is so knowledgeable about Rio, and about so many other things, she can send you to those precious secret eateries, and off the beaten track hidden gems you just need to ask. She is bilingual in English which is consequential for those of you who have no time to learn Portuguese. Her flat is so intelligently done, so functional, perfectly equipped and pretty in what is the best part of Leblon which itself is the best part of Rio every thing is 2mn walk away and a supermarket is right in front. I hope she will not raise prices like she should haha. It is really the best find in its category in Rio pure and simple so consider yourself lucky if you catch it !

  Comments: Amazingly cute apartment in the best location. Perfect size for a single occupancy or a couple, open plan and has everything that you need for a nice holiday stay. Very secure, has a porter in the building during the day as well and so super close to the beach. It looked very pretty in the pictures and it was even better when I arrived. Modern and vintage chic combo! Beautifully decorated. It even has a cute mini bar! Renata was a joy to deal with, got all my pre-trip questions answered, info provided and details explained. She's only round the corner so I could always drop her a message if I needed something. I was also able to check in earlier (I arrived in the morning), which was really helpful. I've been in Rio before but Renata had lots of useful tips/maps of Rio and general advice. Leblon is the best place to stay in Rio if you want nice neighbourhood, beach, cute shops and restaurants, juice bars and above all, not too touristy. It's like Soho in New York and Chelsea in London. Really highly recommended!

The location in Leblon is great... close to bakery, supermarket, restaurants, shops & just a 3min walk to Leblon beach which was very safe! Getting there from the airport by taxi is easy and also going around in Rio catching a taxi infront of the building is safe. We loved the breakfast at Talho Capixaba and the Acai at Balada Mix! Communicating with Renata was easy, unfortunately we were also too busy to meet her. But she was always available via (Hidden by Airbnb) if we had questions! Definitely a perfect place to explore Rio de Janeiro!

  Comments: We arrived at 2200 and were greeted by Renata. She was a very welcoming host. Prior to our arrival she answered any queries we had about the area and activities we wanted to do. This continued during our trip, Renata also messaged us during our stay to make sure all was ok. The apartment is exactly as listed, so no surprises, it was excellent, clean and fully equipped. As this was our first trip to Rio we were unsure about the area, however, Leblon is a great place, with the apartment located in the perfect position with regards to restaurants, bars, shopping and the superb beach which is just a 5 minute walk away. The area has an upmarket feel to it and we always felt safe. Transport is easy, with a taxi rank just over the road, and taxis are super cheap. Overall this was an excellent choice. Thanks Renata.

  Comments: This is a great little apartment in a perfect location - right in the heart of Leblon which is the best suburb in Rio! Close to the beach, 3 supermarkets within easy walking distance, bars, cafes, restaurants, public transport etc. The apartment is small but nicely fitted out and has everything you need for a short or a long stay. Bed was small but comfortable, shower worked excellently, kitchen is well equipped and the wifi worked perfectly. Overall an awesome little place and would definitely stay here again if back in Rio.

  Comments: I came to Rio for the Olympics and this was my first time staying at an Airbnb. I was a little wary at first, but I must say, staying at this property was a wonderful first experience and really contributed to the success of our trip. Renata was out of town, so was unable to meet us, but her father was patiently waiting for us at the apartment even though our flight was delayed several hours. Upon arrival, he showed us around the apartment and left us with the keys. The description of this property, "Best location in Leblon" could not have been more accurate. It was less than a 5 minute walk from the closest metro station, Antero de Quental, on the new Line 4. This station is only a few stops from General Osorio station in Ipanema. The area was lively and felt safe. There were tons of restaurants and two shopping malls very near to the property. All of our best meals came from Renata's recommendations, so I highly recommend taking a look at those. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property! Thank you Renata!

A facilidade de contato, de check-in e de check-out foram as melhores que já experimentei. Pertíssimo de bares, padaria (as melhores do Rio! Padaria Lisboa que fica aberta 24h e o Talho Capixaba que é delicioso e tem produtos diferenciados _inclusive sem gluten e sem lactose, ficam em frente!), ponto de taxi em frente, ponto de onibus muito perto, o metro a 230m e a praia há dois quarteirões. Fármacia ao lado. tudo funcionou perfeitamente, inclusive a internet.A simpatia da Renata e do Sr. José são um bonus à parte! O porteiro, Sr. Geraldo, tbm foi muito prestativo e simpático.   Comments: L'appartement de Renata est exactement comme décrit. Il contient tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin et nous avons même reçu à manger notre fille et sa famille. L'appartement étant à l'arrière de l'édifice il n'y a pas de vue sur la rue avant mais ceci est parfait pour des nuits calmes et sans bruit. Nous avons vraiment apprécié l'emplacement près du métro, d'un café - pâtisserie et de 2 épiceries ainsi qu'à 2 rues seulement de la plage de Leblon. Le système d'air climatisé -nécessaire - est bruyant mais sera remplacé nous a confirmé Renata. Nous le recommandons fortement!

Renata's Rio apartment reminded me of that dream & it gave me that exact excited feeling. Of living in a new, inspiring city. A city that you are hardly ever at home because you are exploring but if you are, you need a place that makes you feel happy & secure. This place did this for me. I really felt like I lived in Rio. Como fui no período do rock in rio, senti falta de alguns canais na tv pra assistir a alguns shows (só tem canais mais básicos), mas nada que atrapalhasse a estadia, até porque raramente se assiste tv durante uma (Website hidden by Airbnb) certeza me hospedaria novamente.   Comments: Renata é atenciosa e disponível, a localização é perfeita, ao lado de mercados, bancos, bares e restaurantes excelentes, e muito próximo a praia, o tamanho do apartamento é ideal para duas pessoas. O que deixou a desejar foi a limpeza, mofo e sujidades na cozinha, nos armários do quarto e banheiro com cabelos, pelos e poeiras. A sala com poeira e lixo atrás da almofadas. O ar condicionado é de janela que normalmente faz barulho e está fixado na janela o que piora o barulho, faz a janela tremer e dificulta o sono. A cortina fica raspando em cima da cabeça enquanto dormimos. O apartamento tem poucas luzes e mesmo com todas acessas fica escuro. Tirando esses detalhes tudo foi perfeito.

  Comments: Leblon is a great and safe part of the city to stroll through the area and having a good coffee (I recommend Talho Capixaba directly across the street). Renata´s flat is only two blocks away from the beach which is perfect for a run in the morning or to relax at the beach. The flat had everything we needed for preparing our own meals which was very nice after some days in a hotel. Thanks, Renata, for our stay at your nice flat!

La zona es muy tranquila y siendo una avenida importante, tiene el negocio que busques a su alrededor. Además de lugares para salir de noche. Cómodo para viajar ya que hay colectivos que van para cualquier lugar y tienen paradas a unos metros. Lo recomendamos totalmente, y volveríamos sin dudarlo. Muchas gracias!!

  Comments: O apartamento é muito charmoso e bem decorado. A localização é fantástica! No melhor ponto do Leblon - em frente a padarias, supermercado e muito próximo ao metrô. Apesar do edifício ficar numa rua movimentada, o apartamento é bem silencioso e muito confortável. É uma ótima opção para 1 ou 2 pessoas. O processo de checkin e checkout correu perfeitamente e a Renata respondeu sempre com muita agilidade.

  Comments: Renata’s place is in a vibrant area. Lots of restaurants and shopping mall nearby. A lovely clean apartment. Collection of keys should be at the Airbnb apartment address instead of keys being collected from another address. It was a total inconvenience for me because I asked the taxi driver to wait while I collected the keys from the doorman as per host instructions but he drove off with my luggage.

  Comments: Renata's apartment is extremely well located in the heart of Leblon, a lovely and safe neighborhood. The apartment is close to the beach, a subway station and many restaurants --- and it's across the street from 2 very nice bakeries serving a great breakfast. Very good value.

O apartamento, por ser de fundos, é super tranquilo e não há barulho da rua. Fui recebida pela Kelly, muito gentil e atenciosa que me explicou todo o funcionamento, incluindo a máquina de lavar. A apartamento tem tudo que vc precisa para uma estadia até mais longa. A Renata tem uma comunicação rápida e eficiente e eu vou retornar com certeza e recomendar o apartamento dela para meus amigos.

  Comments: Highly recommended. Great great location in Rio. Renata’s place is in the heart of Leblon, pretty close to excellent restaurants, the beach, malls, and bars. She answers very fast the messages. Her place was cozy and cute, it’s perfect for solo travelers.

  Comments: My wife and I had a fantastic stay. Location was perfect, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed, the building manager was friendly and helpful and host Renata was always very quick to answer our questions. Would definitely recommend staying here.
