Host was excellent throughout the process. He speaks great English. He took the time to walk me through the apartment to explain how things work and how the apartment should be maintained throughout my stay. He provided excellent restaurant options along with additional security tips when touring the city. I would definitely stay here again. 5 star service

He was always available via a phone call or a text. The apartment was cute, cozy and clean and was enough for our one week stay. The area was safe with great restaurants around and also just a 5 minute walk to the beach. We would recommend this place for your next trip to Rio!

  Comments: Ricardo's place is very modern has 24 security. The elevators get to the 11th. floor fairly quickly. On the inside everything is spot on! Beautiful furniture everything works great. There are also two AC units one the the living room and one in the bedroom. I really didn't need them since I was there in the winter months. Theres plenty of closet space to store all your gear. The view is awesome too. It's a mountain in the back and there aren't any neighbours on top of you so you have privacy. I had a couple of questions while I was staying there and Ricardo respond very quickly, he even helped me purchase a SIM card so I have access to (Hidden by Airbnb) . I highly recommended to look into a smart phone with a SIM when you arrive. You will not have access to making calls but you will have access to intent. All in all this is a very beautiful space with tasteful furnished in a decent neighborhood.

  Comments: Great location. The apartment is on a busy street but well located for getting around. The beach is only a couple of blocks away, a few blocks away is the Metro. Really great space looks exactly like the pictures and Ricardo was a great host my flight was a bit late and he was very accommodating I would recommend anyone stay here

  Comments: We chose Ricardo's Flat to stay based on the very affordable cost and was a bit hesitant at first as we couldn't believe what a bargain it was. How very lucky we were!! Ricardo was so awesome from the start to finish!!! First of all, we stayed for 5 days and the Location is perfect! about 2 mins walk from copacobana beach and extremely close to all the shops and restaurants. Also very easy to find from the onset. We had no problems getting taxis to get around as it was very close to the main road. The Flat itself is extremely modern ,very Clean and very well decorated. The bed was so comfortable we always had a struggle to get out of bed. Check in and Check out was very efficient and Ricardo was so laid back about everything. I cant recommend enough !!! Brilliant !!

Buses en la misma calle del edificio. El departamento esta en el piso 11 por lo que no hay ruido ambiental. Excelente opcion. Definitivamente volveré y lo recomiendo! Ricardo un excelente anfitrión, nuestro viaje se demoro un poco y no llegamos a la hora prevista, igual nos recibió muy amablemente y nos enseño el departamento y todos los detalles a tener en cuenta. All the appliances worked well, including the shower and air conditioners, which is very important if you are staying in Rio during the summer! The host (Ricardo) was extremely helpful. He arrived at the scheduled time, explained in detail how all the appliances and amenities (including Wi-Fi) worked, and the check-in and check-out process were very quick and efficient. He also gave me some great recommendations and tips regarding Rio and the area. The apartment is in a great location, close to the beach, restaurants, and shops in Copacabana and was a great value for the price. You can walk to most of the places you want in Copacabana and it was also convenient to get a taxi from the apartment. I would definitely recommend the apartment to other guests and would stay there again.

  Comments: We stayed in Rio for 6 days and were very happy about having chosen Ricardo's place for this purpose! The apartment looks exactly as in the photos, while being even brighter in reality (in the bedroom there are several large windows which we did not see on the website before). It is located in plain Copacabana, two blocks from the beach and 5 minutes walking to the Metro - making it perfect for a first stay in the city. Also at night we felt safe in the neighborhood, even though regarding restaurants and bars there is not much around and one has to go to other areas by Taxi. Unfortunately, while the rest of the apartment could be easily sold as "Luxury 1 bedroom", the kitchen is not so much of a luxury place to stay in and is only very basically equipped. While it is possible to cook, it's not so much of a fun experience and we did not encounter any basics such as olive oil, salt or pepper. On the other hand, you have a washing machine with dryer which is especially helpful while traveling. Finally, Ricardo is a very attentive host and waited for us in the apartment upon arrival. Every time we contacted him before and during the stay, he responded immediately and seemed to be available 24/7. As this is not the rule on AirBnB, we were very happy to have him as a host! So overall, Ricardo's place is very recommendable and we'd always like to come back!

  Comments: Ricardo fue muy amable desde el principio (nos pareció muy buen detalle que nos dejara agua en la nevera). El apartamento es tal y como aparece en las fotos, muy bonito. Las luces pueden ajustarse, más o menos intensidad. La cama fue súper cómoda. La lavadora funcionaba muy bien. El edificio está muy muy muy bien situado y además tiene portero 24horas que también fueron muy amables, eso le da seguridad a la casa ya que te tienen que abrir desde dentro para poder entrar al edificio. Estaba todo muy limpio. El único inconveniente era la ducha que no había mucha potencia de agua. Todo lo demás fue ¡perfecto! GRACIAS RICARDO

  Comments: Das Apartment ist sehr gut gelegen. Super nah zur Copacabana Beach und die U-Bahn ist auch in der Nähe. Gleich um die Ecke ist ein super Frühstücksladen und im Nachbarhaus ein typisch brasilianisches Buffetrestaurant, was auch sehr leckeres Essen bis spät Abends hat. Ricardo ist der perfekte Gastgeber! Jede SMS wird sofort beantwortet und er versucht alles für einen zu regeln und organisieren. Da unser Abflug erst abends war, hat er uns gratis ein anderes seiner Apartments für den Nachmittag zur Verfügung gestellt. 5 star host!

  Comments: Location of this apartment is superb. It’s just a short walk from the center of Copacabana beach and easy to grab an Uber anywhere else in the city. The doormen at the apartment are very helpful and friendly. They even watched our bags for a few hours before we could check in after an early morning arrival. The apartment itself is nicely updated with a comfy bed and good AC. Ricardo is really easy to reach and very flexible. All in all, definitely recommend as a home base for your trip to Rio!

  Comments: Nos hospedamos con mi novia,un hermoso departamento con una excelente ubicacion ( 2 cuadras de la playa de Copacabana),mucha seguridad,ya que se encontraban 3 personas las 24 hs del dia tardando no mas de 5 segundos en abrir las dos puertas para ingresar al edificio,el departamento es muy confortable y con todas las comodidades,aire acondicionado con muy buen fucionamiento,la cama muy comoda y limpia,cocina con TODO lo necesario para una comoda estadia y un baño super limpio y comodo tambien,recomiendo 100% a Ricardo por su trato y atencion despejando todas las dudas que teniamos,nos sentimos muy bien en nuestra primera visita a la bella ciudad de Rio de Janeiro!!

  Comments: Die Unterkunft war ein Traum. Nicht nur, dass sie wunderbar eingerichtet war sondern vor allem der Gastgeber. Ricardo war sehr hilfsbereit (unter anderem Late Check Out). Aber das Beste war, dass er mir das Gefühl vermittelt hat, dass er bei jedem Problem, welches ich in Rio erleben könnte, helfen würde. Er hat eine Problemlöser Persönlichkeit, welche mir eine enorme Sicherheit in dieser Stadt gegeben hat.

  Comments: Ricardo is one of the best hosts out there. Just a great guy and always reachable. Place is awesome—great locale and quiet and peaceful to sleep at night. Washer/Dryer is great to have after all the beach and gym runs! Doormen are super nice and will recognize you after a few visits and always greet you with a smile. Can’t go wrong if you want a place in the middle of Copa, 2 blocks away from the beach, and everything that you would ever need within walking distance.

  Comments: No recomendable el apartamento, tiene serios problemas eléctricos el edificio por ser muy antiguo, se nos cortó la luz 2 noches seguidas la primera por dos horas y la segunda vez toda la noche por lo que no se podía dormir al no tener aire acondicionado, el calor insoportable con los mas de 30° durante la noche y tuvimos que dejar el departamento 3 noches antes e irnos a un hotel, es un espacio muy chico sin ventanas en la sala de estar y la ducha muy poca presión de agua, además de faltar elementos ofrecidos como secador de pelo y la secadora no funciona, no volvería por ningún motivo y por lo mismo me fui antes sin importar tener pagada toda la estadía.
