Comments: This being my first experience on airbnb, I never want to stay at a hotel when I travel. Rebecca was super fast at getting back to us with the reservation and getting back to us when we had an questions. This cottage is neat and clean, and so close to the ocean. The neighbors made you feel welcome and a part of their family.

Comments: We had a really enjoyable stay at the beach cottage. It was charming, cozy and very comfortable. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming. With the cottage just steps from the beach, we enjoyed a beautiful Hawaiian sunrise every morning with Diamond head on the horizon and the occasional rainbow over our shoulders. Rebecca was very helpful and communicative. I would definitely stay here again.

Comments: Rebecca is an excellent host. Her communication with me before and during my stay was incredible. She followed up with me many times to make sure I was comfortable. She made me feel very welcome and I felt like a priority. The cottage is very nice and very clean. It has a front yard and a grill in case you want to enjoy dinner outside. Inside is plenty large enough and decorated nicely. The neighbors are extremely friendly. I had the priviledge to get to know them and spent many evenings hanging out and talking with them. I was even invited to a BBQ. If you stay here I would recommend you be open to talking to the neighbors because it really enhanced my stay. I cannot think of anywhere I stayed where I was so welcomed into a community.

Comments: Rebecca was an amazing host. She was always quick to respond to my questions. We loved our stay. We stayed at the beach cottage while we waited to close on our new home. I spent a lot of time in the home with my daughter. The house is very kid friendly. My 3 year old was very happy and safe during the stay. Rebecca even has kid plates and silverware available. The yard is fenced, so my daughter loved playing outside. The umbrellas provide a ton of shade. The home is very cute and feels very comfortable. We loved going to the beach. The neighbors were wonderful. They gave us tips and even gifted us a pineapple. I would highly recommend staying here.

Comments: This place was perfect. I loved the cottage, the beds were comfy and neighborhood was nice and quiet. I especially appreciated all the communication Rebecca sent us prior to our stay about the rules and access to the house. It made it really easy for us to come and go as we had a couple different flight times. Everything was very clean and worked well for our stay.

Comments: The minute we saw Rebecca's Cottage on Airbnb we decided right away that this was where we wanted to stay. Ewa Beach and the cottage were just as it was displayed on the website. It is a beautiful and peaceful area of the island. We went for our honeymoon and Rebecca really made us feel right at home. Her neighbors are unbelievably warm people and they also were so nice to us. We went with our very good friends this time and would love to go again just the two of us next year if possible. We have so many photos and memories of this trip. Thank-you so much for all you did for us during our stay.

Comments: Hey Rebecca, Sorry for the delay in getting this to you, been running a lot lately. I would like to thank you for the hospitality and use of your cottage at Ewa Beach. I have not had the opportunity to deal with such a welcoming group of people in my travels. Everything you done for us to get into the cottage, the extension of our stay, and the personal phone calls to ensure we had no issues, was greatly appreciated. The neighbors coming up and giving hugs upon arrival was a heart felt warmth that is not commonly expressed. The entire neighborhood came to introduce themselves at some point. We were invited to many dinners and parties from the neighbors so that we could be completely engulfed in the Hawaiian culture. Again a great thank you to you and your neighbors. And yes when I return YOU will be my first call!

Comments: The beach cottage is located in the perfect area for anyone looking for the "local" feel. It is nearby grocery, shops, and plate lunch spots. Not to mention the proximity to the beach is pretty superb and neighbors are charming. My family had everything from a 5 month old to a "handicapped" adult, we were able to enjoy the many perks of the nearby park for the 4yr old, and a quick hop in the car led to Hawaiian shaved ice (Ewa Seed Company in the back of the shopping center if you try to find it) or Spam fried rice. Rebecca is a great host. A+++ for fast, easy communications, accurate description of place and appropriate price for value! my family had 5 adults staying for 1 week (4-60yr olds 1 30yr old) -We had many visitors of all ages , it suited everyones needs. We are very happy with our stay in Rebecca's home and it's accommodations. You won't regret your local experience in Ewa Beach!

Comments: Can't say thank you enough to Rebecca for being such a gracious and communicative host and allowing us to stay in her Hawaiian home, such a great space! All the amenities like HDTV with satellite, WIFI, W/D, and full kitchen made it so comfortable. Cottage is on a quiet street with friendly neighbors and the beach is literally a three minute walk. Never was crowded, saw a Monk Seal sunning on the beach our first day...had my coffee there every morning. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby, there's even a Ross near the huge Safeway grocery store if you need to do a little shopping. Had such a great time, didn't want to leave. Would definitely stay here again!! Ma halo!

Comments: The house was great. Everything we needed for the trip was at the house. Directions about the house were clear and it was very clean. The neighbors were also fantastic. We had a dead battery early in the vacation and Ann/brother help jump the car's battery. They also invited us to their Christmas dinner, very friendly and interesting neighbors. We got a very positive feeling about the neighborhood. Thank you very much for letting us stay at your cottage.

Comments: It was a pleasure staying at Rebecca's beach cottage. everything was super clean and the neighborhood was very chill and relaxing. it was super close to the beach so carrying an umbrella, chair and towels were no biggie. Rebecca always responded very quickly whenever i had question. Her neighbor Ann across the street is super nice and friendly. i would definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants to stay in a very local area in Oahu. My grandparents loved how quiet it was and the beautiful sunrises at the beach.

Comments: We stayed in Rebeccas' beach house early 2016 for 4 nights and every thing went like clockwork. Rebecca was always quick to reply to any of our questions, and even when we accidentally booked for one more night than we needed, she was quick to offer to refund the extra night. The beach house was clean and well equipped, the beds comfortable, and all linen was supplied.

Comments: This is a great little beach cottage!!! Very clean, with all the amenities you could need, full kitchen, all the beach gear, and a great patio to enjoy the evening. It's about 100 yards from a nice, uncrowded beach. Rebecca, the owner is very nice and helpful, leaving us chocolates and coffee upon our arrival. Choosing this cottage is way, way, way better than staying in a hotel... I would hate to hurt Rebecca's bookings however, in full disclosure the beach cottage may not work for two couples. It is however, perfect for a young family. This is due to the second bedroom being "loft style" or an "open bedroom" with one wall open to the living area. While the neighbors are all extremely nice and very friendly the neighborhood is a bit noisy. Dogs barking and roosters crowing in the morning, kids playing outside, small arms fire from the nearby military base and the occasional jet flying over, ensure that you won't sleep your vacation away... But if you're looking for a base to operate from while you tour the island and it's beaches this is a good option.

Comments: Rebecca was great. She was very prompt in responding to any message I sent to her. She left goodies for us when we arrived. We spoke before I left for my trip and she made sure I didn't have any unanswered questions. I felt since she had done this before she knew all the information I needed before I needed it. She's so nice. The description was perfect. The beach was very peaceful and nothing like Waikiki. I loved it. The neighbors were great - especially Ann and Dan. They both immediately made me feel welcome.

Comments: Rebecca has a nice cosy cottage effectively on Eva beach. The beach afforded fairly clear views of Honolulu and the location was reasonably close to the main airport and Pearl Harbour. Pam left us with beach chairs, umbrella, and plenty of beach towels for which we were grateful. The only drawback that I could think of was that we found driving around the island a little longer than expected, as we had to factor a further 25 minute drive from the H1 off-ramp to her place on Ewa Beach. All in all a great experience and would recommend it to others, and particularly to those with families!

Comments: This charming beach cottage is a delight. In no time my family of five felt absolutely at home. My youngest asked every day during our trip when we could "go back home". The neighbors, as have been mentioned before, are very friendly and helpful. It is clearly a local spot, but they showed us nothing but hospitality during our stay. The house itself is lovely. The beds and bathroom are comfortable. The outdoor shower is a great feature because, trust me, you are going to want to walk to the beach, jump in and swim around morning and evening, and rinse off quickly in the outdoor shower. The kitchen isn't large, but it's equipped as though someone with good taste truly lives there and just happened to be absent in time for you to use it. We gave thanks every day we were there for finding it and for not having to stay in a hotel. Rebecca is a kind, thoughtful, and generous host. You can do no wrong booking this spot. What can I say about Ewa beach itself? It seems to be the true Oahu. No tourists, nothing fancy, but absolutely gorgeous. The perfect place to stand, as Keats says, "on the shore Of the wide world I stand alone, and think Till Love and Fame to nothingness do sink-" Keats didn't mention this in his poem, but DON'T MISS THE SHAVED ICE at the Ewa Seed Company.

Comments: This was our first time using Airbnb and Rebecca made it a wonderful experience. Our daughter is a teacher on Oahu and the last two years we have stayed in Wakiki. This year we wanted to stay closer to our daughter so we booked the Beach Cottage. Rebecca is a wonderful hostess, she contacted us before, during and after our stay to give us information and to make sure we had everything we needed. My husband, 22 year old son and I stayed at the cottage. It was very comfortable, clean & had everything that we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable. There were plenty of towels for showers & the beach (plus, snorkel gear & beach chairs). The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, sunscreen, toilet paper & paper towels were supplied. There is a computer with a printer so we were able to print our boarding passes before heading to the airport. The neighbors (as stated by other reviewers) were very friendly - Ann greeted us as we arrived with hugs all around. We couldn't ask for a better experience or hostess.

Comments: Rebecca was very communicative, kind, and accommodating from the beginning. We had no trouble finding and getting into the quaint cottage on the water. The space itself is decorated with care, lots of vintage charm plus comfortable. Both the bed and couch (where we spent most of our time) were cozy. She had Netflix installed on the tv so it was easy to feel right at home! The kitchen though small has a working apartment size fridge which came in very handy. The bathroom was quite tight but functional, and decorated cute. There were also many essentials like qtips, soap, shampoo, and even a cute toothbrush holder. I needed to do some quick laundry so I hand washed in the outdoor sink and threw everything in the dryer real quick. Super convenient! The cottage was a 30 second walk to the water, and the beach deserted on week days. We found tons of sea glass in just a few days! Neighborhood has a very local vibe. It's 5-10 min drive to grocery stores and many good resturants. Not your traditional resort, vaca spot. Stay here to feel like a real kamaaina.

Comments: This was such a perfect place to stay. We (the 6 of us) only had 2 days, arriving at hnl and leaving for a cruise 2 days later. Convenient location while feeling peaceful. I can't begin to say how well organized and well decorated Rebecca's place is. Loved the neighbors Ann & Dan. Tip: order delivery from L & L. Delish and very reasonable! Thank you, Rebecca! Comments: Rebecca was a wonderful host. She contacted us prior to our trip. She reminded us to check out the cottage prior to going to grocery store. She contacted us the day we arrived and made sure that we had everything that we needed. Rebecca's cottage was a dream come true and had items of which we actually packed with us. The neighborhood is family oriented and the neighbors were fantastic. We have three kids and the beach is literally a two minute walk away. The neighbors and children playing on the street made us feel at home but is not for everyone. Ewa beach has a park right next door with a basketball court and playground for the kids and was an added amenity. Wi-fi was fast, Cable was great, washer & dryer worked well, beach equipment was a great surprise. We want to go back and will stay at this cottage if available. We highly enjoyed our stay and would recommend for anyone that is looking to get away from the city but not to far off the beaten path to stay at this charming cottage, you won't regret it. Mahalo

Comments: Cottage was cozy and quaint; located close to the beach in a quiet neighborhood. Did not get to meet the host, Rebecca, in person, but communicated with her through email and spoke to her on the phone before our family's visit. She sounded very welcoming and was easy to get a hold of when we experienced any issues. Would definitely recommend her place to anyone looking for charm and comfort during their stay on Oahu! :)

Comments: We just cannot say enough good things about our experience at this little Cottage. It was perfect for our unique situation and Rebecca was a more than accommodating hostess. We moved from Oahu and we rented this cottage as a transition home as we packed out. We were there for four days and really enjoyed the beach access just feet away and the super nice neighbors. We had to leave in a hurry due to last minute airline changes and the neighbors learning of our situation even came over to offer any help. So from the beginning to the end of our stay, our experience was absolutely full of that Aloha spirit that Hawaii is so well known for. We plan to travel back to see friends and we plan on staying at the Cottage if it is available. And as a last note, we lived in Ewa Beach, Hi where the Cottage is located for two of the six years we were on Oahu. If you are visiting Oahu for the first time and do not like the fast pace and tourist traps of Waikiki, then I highly recommend staying at this Cottage. Thank you again Rebecca. You were an amazing hostess!!!!

Comments: We can't thank Rebecca and Ann enough for their hospitality and making our trip wonderful. Prior to our arrival Rebecca was in communication with me and offered suggestions for sight seeing and fun. Well do to mechanical issues we arrived late, I advised Rebecca, and she had Ann leave lights on for us, and ultimately refunded one days rental fee, because of the delay. That speaks volumes Rebecca's character and how much she wants to you to enjoy your visit. When we arrived, Ann and her family greeted us and expressed their concerns for our late arrival. This was welcoming and we became fast friends with the family. Upon arrive at the cottage, we made ourselves at home. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was truly comfortable. The home is perfect for my family of three plus my mother. Rebecca and Ann took great care in making sure all our needs were met, from toiletries to towels. We enjoy dining on the patio set, and our endless days at the beach. My seven-year-old had a blast with the neighborhood kids, who were also on fall break. The kids played morning till night, and it was great to actually see boys and girls play together without the interference of technology. To me this part of our trip was priceless. On our last night we treated the kids to ice cream, this is truly a neighborhood friendly spot and great for young and mature. On our last morning, Ann and her family treated us to a traditional Hawaiian breakfast, amazing food and company. We hated to leave the cottage, with its comfy beds, beautiful beach, new friends, and complete relaxation. We hope to visit again. Do not pack your toiletries you won't need them, enjoy the view, the people and the amenities of a home. This was our first Airbnb experience, and I will never do a hotel again. Rebecca's home is perfect! As for my only minor critique, the boogie boards an snorkeling gear were broken from all the wonderful use prior to our arrival. Did this matter, not a bit, Walmart is close by to purchase what you need. Two the beach and water are perfect without the gear. We were lucky enough to have the true Hawaiian experience and we made new friends. The memories we made are priceless!

Comments: This cottage had all we needed for our little family (including a toddler). There was enough space for the three of us and it was cozy. The beach is very close. We went every morning and the neighborhood is friendly. There is beach equipment (chairs, toys, towels, etc) and toiletries so don't have to bring much. One thing I loved most was the outdoor shower has BOTH hot and cold water. So if you want a quick rinse post beach it's perfect and Rebecca provides soap and shampoo out there. Rebecca was available any time we had a question; I was surprised at how quickly she responds. Her neighbor, Ann was just as helpful. We hope to visit again soon!

Comments: My husband and I brought three 16-year-old boys from Maui for a soccer tournament in Waipio. Nice local neighborhood, not a tourist area. Plenty of kids and liveliness, a quiet beach a short half block away, and considerate neighbors who stopped noise promptly at 10 pm. The house is small but very cute with plenty of towels, blankets, televisions, and kitchen items. The boys called it the "cottage" and we enjoyed the air conditioned separate bedroom. A great value, beats hotels by a mile.

Comments: Communication with Rebecca was easy and pleasant, and she provided all the info we needed to find the house and make use of its amenities. The home is surprisingly spacious and well laid out, plus the vintage Hawaiian decor is so stinkin' cute! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for cooking, bathroom had all the travel basics, and the wifi worked perfectly (a necessity on my business trips). The beach is just at the end of the block and the neighbors were friendly and helpful too. All and all, a lovely stay!

Comments: Rebecca, just as you advertised, it was the most adorable beach cottage! Our family enjoyed our time there so much. We slept 6 comfortable (2 adults and 4 kids). The kids love being so close to the beach (less then 100 steps) and we really appreciated you having four boogie boards so they could all ride the waves together. The location was great, there was plenty of restaurants, grocery and ER (which we unfortunately had to visit). Thank you so much for letting us use your cottage, it was a wonderful vacation!

Comments: My husband, 23 year old son & I stayed at the Beach Cottage for our second visit from 6/11 to 6/16. It was just as charming and comfortable as we remembered. We chose the Beach Cottage because it is away from the hustle & bustle of Waikiki and closer to where our daughter lives in Ewa Beach. Rebecca is a gracious hostess. She communicated with us before we checked in to make sure that we had all of the information that we needed. She also offered us a later check-out time. When we arrived at the cottage, there was a box of Macademia Nuts & Hawaiian coffee on the table. There is a dining table with room for 4. A sofa & a futon w/a large tv with Direct TV (and clear directions on which remote to use for what purpose). She apologized that the computer was out for service so we would not be able to print boarding passes (which wasn't a problem in this day & age of smart phones). There is an alcove with a queen size bed (partitioned off from the living area) where my son slept. There are 3 ceiling fans, a stand fan & 2 air-conditioners in the main part of the house. We were fine with just the ceiling fans. The bedroom has a full-size bed, dresser & armoire. There is a ceiling fan & air conditioner in there (we did use the a/c at night). The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes cups and some staples (sugar, olive oil, vinegars, paper towels). There is plenty of blue ice in the freezer to use with the coolers that are also supplied. The bathroom is fully equipped too with plenty of towels, sunscreen, toothpaste, shampoo, soap & toilet paper. There are plenty of beach towels, coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling supplies to use. Outside, there is a comfortable patio set with 2 big umbrellas and an outdoor shower with hot & cold water. There is a driveway for parking. It is a great home away from home...we are already planning our 2018 visit to the Beach Cottage.

Comments: My family and I (6 of us in total, 2 adults, 4 kids) spent a wonderful, all too short, 4 nights at Rebecca's lovely, beach cottage. My kids adored being able to walk to the beach and quickly discovered all the wonderful sand toys and activities at their fingertips. My wife, as someone born and raised in Hawaii, enjoyed her return to her home state and the comfort and flexibility afforded by having access to all the amenities provided at the cottage that you wouldn't commonly get at a hotel like laundry, and a ready to go kitchen. Myself, as a computer professional, who unfortunately had to work a bit during our stay, the super fast internet connection was greatly appreciated! We all greatly enjoyed our time and were definitely sad to leave! We will look forward to the next time we can enjoy a stay at Rebecca's lovely beach cottage. As a host, Rebecca was impeccable, easy to get in touch with, called in advance of our stay with details, friendly and welcoming. She's got a great friend, Ann, who lives across the street who helps keep an eye on the place who was also super helpful! Thanks so much for opening your lovely home Rebecca! ~James and Family

Comments: Rebecca was so generous and took the time to call me and get to know me prior to staying at her cottage. She explained all the check in information and sent me very thorough instructions via email and text. Her cottage is truly charming and so lovely. I live on Oahu and always had a difficult time finding beach houses in the Ewa area because they are always booked. I was so lucky to find this gem on AirBnB. The decorations reminded of vintage Hawaii. The AC was perfect for my newborn son and the beds were so comfortable. Our favorite part about this location is the easy access to a family friendly beach, about 150 steps away. My husband, newborn son, and I spent all day at the beach and even had the chance to surf the small beach break. Rebecca had beach towels, chairs, and a cooler readily available. There is an outdoor shower with warm water which is perfect for rinsing off after a nice long day at the beach. The property has a nice manicured yard with tables, chairs and huge umbrellas so you may enjoy the evening sunset with a glass of wine outside. The family that cares for the property is very sweet and came to visit before we checked out. I will be so lucky to book this cottage again to make more memories with my little ohana. Thank you so much Rebecca, you are amazing!

Comments: This cozy cottage truly lived up to its name. The organization and cleanliness inside and out surpassed our expectations. Everything we needed, from dishes to toothpaste, was easy to find. Upon our arrival we were able to settle right in. The cottage has ample space for clothing, shoe, and personal item storage. It felt like a home away from home. As a family traveling with an energetic toddler, we very much appreciated accessibility to beach toys, and kid friendly dishes. The neighbors were beyond friendly, they made us feel like family. The cottage is a few steps away from a beatiful secluded beach that is perfect for relaxing at all hours of the day. We enjoyed our stay so much that we didn't want to leave. We highly recommend this Cozy Cottage to anyone looking to relax on their trip!

Comments: Rebecca's lovely beach cottage is just steps away from the beach! We loved the awesome beach access! We enjoyed many special family moments on the beautiful front patio and had enough space for our family of 4 adults and 1 child to sleep comfortably and do our daily activities in the clean home. Rebecca's house was well-equipped with everything we needed for our 6 night stay...a special perk was having a cooler available for us to use on our daily outings. We left the beautiful beach house yesterday with countless memories from our many adventures on Oahu. Special thanks to Rebecca and her sweet neighbor, Ann, or welcoming us into their neighborhood.

Comments: Rebecca’s beach cottage was our home away from home. Loved the “Retro” decor. Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was furnished with everything you needed to cook a meal. There was also a gas grill which came in handy. The neighborhood was wonderful. Our host Anne lives across the street. She was so sweet, and had lots of useful information. We felt very comfortable hanging out on the front lawn and at the beach which is just a short walk away. We will definitely be booking this cottage next time we come to Oahu.

Comments: Rebecca was awesome throughout the entire process. We felt 100 percent prepared when we flew in. I highly recommend her beautiful home. Her home had everything we needed... plenty of beach towels, a rice cooker and an easy to use BBQ grill for our yummy steak dinner. And the beach ❤️... the kids loved it so much. We were right next to the beach and had it to ourselves the entire stay. We absolutely loved your home and it's location. Definitely would stay again. Thanks Rebecca!

Comments: Rebecca was a very kind and hospitable host. She contacted me a week prior to our visit via phone to tell me about check in and the cottage. Arrival and check in was simple and as explained - we didn't meet Rebecca in person but did get to say hi to her neighbor Ann and family who were very nice locals. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (3.5 year old and infant of 8 mo), and stayed for 9 nights. The cottage is as described. It was roomy enough for us. Dad and toddler stayed in the bedroom with the AC. Baby slept with me partially and in her travel crib (which we brought), in the loft area (no door). The floors are newer and nice. There is a big TV and we used our Netflix on it; they have DirectTV. The shower was nice; hot water is good. We ate meals on the table with room for 4 (we brought a travel high chair). There were plenty of things to make our stay comfortable (as described) in kitchen (utensils, cookware etc), washer/dryer, lots of towels/washcloths and kitchen towels, ALL the beach stuff we needed (inc floaties for toddler, toys, towels / cooler + ice packs were awesome). There is room for 2 cars in driveway. The ceiling fans kept us cool; AC in bedroom. We even BBQ'ed one night and enjoyed the grass in the front yard (for baby to chill). The street and neighborhood is quaint and feels safe. It is literally 3 houses away from the beach; we would take night strolls to the beach with the flashlights (provided). We used the outdoor shower to rinse off the sand. The bed and bedding were comfy and clean. There are lots of towels, beach towels and stuff. It is really nice to use the washer/dryer with the kids/beach etc. The vintage decor was a nice touch too. There is the public Beach Park literally in the backyard of the cottage. This is good in that we did go to the playground. Downside is that families go there early in the weekends, playing music and hanging there until sunset. Not partiers but just locals enjoying themselves. The cottage has typical island jalousie windows, so noise just comes through. The next door neighbors are friendly; they hangout until late, again not partying but chatting and enjoying themselves - it wasn't a major issue but we did hear them. The AC in the bedroom masks the noise at night but you can hear it from the bed that is loft style outside. Anyhow it is a very nice, local neighborhood and gets active early. The only issue we had was with the neighborhood noise, again from the vintage style jalousie windows. The kids weren't bothered (we use white noise from our phone for baby to sleep; AC kept the bedroom quiet). The noise was a bit of a bother on the weekend, with locals hanging at the park playing loud...

Comments: This Ewa Beach Cottage House is a great place to stay at cause it's a short walk to the beach, great in house amenities, outdoor patio furniture, BBQ and outdoor shower. I recommend this Ewa Beach Cottage House to vacationers if they want to stay away Honolulu and Waikiki cities and enjoy the country living and atmosphere during their Hawaii vacation.

Comments: The location was perfect for us. The locals were so friendly and warm with great tips. They warned us about traffic, as did our host, but honestly it didn't bother us, after all we were in Hawaii! The beach access was a short walk and pretty private this time of year. The weather was awesome too, but the water was amazing.

Comments: Really cool beach home. Steps from a private beach. Perfect views of the sun rise over Diamond Head and perfect sunset views as well. Little to nobody else on the beach. Situated in a family oriented neighborhood where everyone knows the neighbors. Truly a place where ohana, the Hawaiian since of family lives here. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room in the highly efficient space. Situated far enough away not not too hard to get there. We actually wanted to stay longer but are staying the rest of our trip with family but would have staying here longer if there was availability. We got much more than what we expected. Aloha

Comments: Rebecca place was amazing. Secluded in a family beach neighborhood in Ewa Beach literally right by the beach. Stayed there with 3 other guys and there was plenty of space for all of us. The patio is awesome as well to hang out during warm Hawaii nights. The full kitchen and Cable TV was great to have as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here if you have a bigger party. (2-4 people)

Comments: This is such a great place to stay. We paid a little more but it is well worth it for the beach access. Rebecca is so nice and makes contact, ensuring you’re prepared. She leaves thoughtful touches like candy, coffee, and certain toiletries for your use. The beach items are very useful. To top it off, they have the nicest neighbors (Ann) and is very close (about 5-15 minutes) from several shopping areas and restaurants that range from “touristy” and fun to local and fantastic. A taste of Oahu without all the bustle of Honolulu. Absolutely loved.

Comments: This rustic/quaint Ewa Beach Cottage was comfortable for our family of 4 adults and 2 teens. It had everything needed including basic spices, rice pot, bbq, beach towels, umbrella, folding chairs, cooler... , paper goods, toiletries, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies were all provided for our stay. All we purchased for the house was our food and drinks. Walk to the beach is less than 100 ft down a private driveway/walkway…..scene of Diamond Head in the distance makes for a beautiful silhouette at Sunrise. The neighborhood/house is safe (left our windows open during the day) and the neighbors are friendly & very welcoming. Great place to relax. We had a great time in Hawaii and having this cottage was like home away from home. Very comfortable! One note: bed 2 is in an open space. Thank you Rebecca for being an amazing host!! ⛱

Comments: This beach cottage was so charming. This place is very well stocked for a vacation away from home with a comfortable home atmosphere. It was lovely that all toiletries were supplied as well. Rebecca was so thoughtful with suggestions and ease and comfort with your stay. Communication was excellent. Very close to beach, you are able to see the beach from the window, literally down the street (super short walk). Can hear the ocean from the cottage. Was very nice that the cottage had towels and washer dryer/stocked with detergent. Close to restaurants and grocery stores, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Staying here will make you feel like a local with the essentially beachfront access. Kitchen was fully stocked, even has a working grill!!!!! Great place to relax and unwind. The neighborhood was very safe and family oriented, they will all make you feel like ohana. I would recommend this place to anyone, will definitely come stay at this cottage again. Rebecca went out of her way to make sure you did not have to worry about anything other then relaxing.

Comments: Mahalo Rebecca for sharing your lovely cottage with our family. We enjoyed it very much. Great location on a privatestreet and walking distance to the beach. The beach sold it for us! The grandkids enjoyed the beach a lot. View from the beach was beautiful and most of all it was not crowded! I love the character of the cottage. I loved the kitchen though we hardly used it. The cottage provided everything that you would need!! Home away from home! Rebecca is a very gracious host. She kept in contact with me before and after our visit. It made it a very pleasant first Air BnB experience for me. Location was close to shopping areas and restaurants. The cottage is the place to go if you want to relax and get away from the city... A hidden gem! We met Ann from across the street before we left the cottage. She is very friendly and shared some information about the area... We will definitely consider the Cottage in the near future again…

Comments: This was our third year in a row staying at the Beach Cottage. Rebecca is a wonderful host, the Beach Cottage is a great place to stay - it is just steps away from the beach and away from the traffic and hustle & bustle of Waikiki (but still an easy drive to go in and see the sites). The Beach Cottage is well appointed with everything you need for a fabulous and relaxing stay.

Comments: This is definitely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. We have had wonderful experiences at the other airbnb's we have stayed at, but Rebecca truly goes above and beyond to make sure her guests are happy and have everything needed. We were literally a 2 minute walk from the private beach. Seriously there was maybe a family out there when we went or no one but us most times. I love not staying within the hustle and bustle of the touristy places, so if your wanting to experience the true Aloha of Hawaii, this is definitely the best place to be. I did a lot of research before picking the cottage and one of my musts was having AC because a lot of the Airbnb's don't have AC, it was definitely a must on most days during the heat of the day. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything, even a cheese grater which I usually end up buying and leaving at AIRBNB's but I didn't have to she already had one. Rebecca has all the extra's, boogie boards and when she knew we had 4 kiddos but there was only two there, she had two more delivered, by her amazing neighbors, Auntie Anne and her family. She also has beach chairs, floats for the littles and a ton of sand toys. This definitely saved us a lot of money. We have stayed at other places that didn't have these things and had to go buy them and it gets pretty costly. I loved having the washer and dryer and she had a ton of towels as well as beach towels. The shower has wonderful water pressure with a massaging head that worked wonders on my back. The outdoor shower area also came in very handy. We really enjoyed sitting outside at night enjoying the breeze and relaxing after busy days sight seeing, hiking, snorkeling, and all the other stuff we did. Also enjoyed hanging out with Auntie Anne and her family, we even got a private hula dance from Auntie Anne's sisters, it was amazing, they are wonderful. I could go on and on, but I'm sure you are tired of reading so I will stop, but this is definitely the best place to stay and we will definitely be back.

Comments: Rebecca’s cottage was just how it was described and pictured on Airbnb. A highlight for us was that it was just a few steps from a beautiful and uncrowded beach which we enjoyed everyday. Her place had everything we needed to cook, eat, rest and get cleaned up. We spent the majority of our days seeing the different sites on the island but thoroughly enjoyed staying at Rebecca’s cute cottage in the evenings and mornings. Rebecca was very quick to respond to any questions we had and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Than you for making our time in Oahu comfortable and relaxing!

Comments: This is our second visit to the cottage, and it is like being home. The home is always clean and has everything you need to make you feel comfortable. You are close to the beach, grocery store, and the emergency room (yes, our kiddo took a fall playing basketball and we headed that way). The location of the cottage is great to get to any spot on the island, and far enough away to avoid the tourists. The cottage is the perfect place to enjoy the true culture and beauty of Oahu. If you are looking for a family friendly location, this is the spot. No heavy traffic, a park nearby, and quick walk to the beach. The neighbors are great, and the kids in the neighborhood are awesome. It is a safe and you can enjoy sitting outside and watching kids play, a lizard walking buy or listening to the birds sing. You know this location and the community is great when they come to say goodbye and check on your child before and after the Emergency Room visit. We can't wait to return. Thank you for welcoming us back Rebecca.

Comments: Had such a fantastic time at this rental. The cottage was clean and Rebecca was great with providing info, recommendations, and answering questions quickly. We were greeted so warmly by neighbors at arrival and they even stop by to wish us a safe trip home. The house was pretty much stocked with everything we needed even items for a beach day which was awesome. And the beach was to die for. Comments: Five stars for the host, Rebecca. Fast responses, great recommendations, available to help with any questions or issues. The space is small but well appointed and organized. It's a full home with everything a traveling family could need, and Rebecca put us in touch with a local company for pack n play and high chair rental. The neighbors are kind and warm, and this time of year your stay at the cottage is made magical with mega-watt Christmas lights strung all around. The neighborhood got a bit noisy in the evenings while we were there, but the location can't be beat. Recommend if you're looking to stay somewhere off the beaten path yet steps from the beach, and have a car (30 mins from most locations on the island).

Comments: Charming is the pfercet word to describe this cottage. The space was very well laid out and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay - literally the only thing you need to bring are clothes and a toothbrush - everything else is there. Washer/dryer and outdoor shower were both very much appreacited and the outside sitting area is a very pleasant space to sit and read. The beach is very, very close by and most days we had it all to ourselves which was fabulous. Being so close meant that we could wander down whenever we wanted without having to pack things in the car and trundle off. We could visit the beach in the morning, walk back to make lunch and head back in the afternoon to watch the sunset. It's in a neighborhood so you feel like you live there and the neighbors are friendly. There is typical neighborhood activity - people getting out in the morning to work, trash pickups, people visiting with each other and the neighbors are very welcoming - all of which made us feel like we belonged there. It's very conveniently located a mile away from a Safeway, Starbucks and restaurants. It's about 25 minutes from Kapolei and it's shopping malls, movie theaters and a number of local and chain restaurants. The airport is about a 30 minute drive and Waikiki is about 45 minutes away. We would heartily recommend Rebecca's cottage for a very enjoyable visit to the island.

Comments: First of all, Rebecca is a great host. She responds quickly and provided lots of help for us being first timer. The beach access is the greatest benefit. Very quiet and really nice beach. Also, there was all the beach accessories available like chairs, boogie boards, ... The location is great. It’s a bit far from Waikiki but all the amenities are 5 minutes away. The neighborhood is a mix of old and newer houses. Everyone is very friendly. Since a few neighbors have outside TVs, it can get loud at times. Since the windows are shutter kinds, the noise gets through. We also can hear the roosters early in the morning so not the best to sleep in late. The house is well set for families (we were 4). Lots of others kids in the neighborhood. All and all, a good choice.
