There's a million dollar view of the highline and surrounding buildings. The two bedroom/2 full bath layout gives both rooms plenty of privacy. The master bath has a very nice stone shower with water fall shower head. I would recommend her place to any group of 2-4 who wants to be walking distance from restaurants, shopping, and nightlife ( and chelsea market)

  Comments: Meritxell was a very helpful and attentive host. Our group consisted of two couples and the apartment was perfectly appointed and situated in a very convenient part of the city. We were there over the Forth of July and the roof terrace was a wonderful added feature. The doorman were very pleasant and helpful as well. We give high marks and would strongly recommend her property.

  Comments: Meritxells apartment is very nice and spacious. We were a family of four, our girls are five and eight and this apartment was a great starting point for exploring the city. And when the children fell asleep at night, exhausted from all the walking, the grown ups had a nice living room to stay in. Meritxell responds very quickly to any email, often within minutes. Everything was organized and easy, we picked up the key at the front desk in the entrance. We arrived late at night but that was not a problem. We did not use the balcony as it was just too hot outside, but the view was nice. I can recommend Meritxells apartment!

  Comments: Our host Meritxell made us feel very welcomed... She had kindly left breakfast (bread, OJ & milk) for us in the fridge and chocolates! She responded very quickly to any questions we had but everything was really easy and straightforward! The flat was totally matching the description with a big King size bed in the master bedroom & a double bed in the other bedroom - all very comfortable, well-equipped, stylish & clean. The flat was extremely quiet for NY - all windows opened at the back of the building with a very open view! The view from the rooftop of the building was great and the rooftop itself very nice (sun loungers and garden table & chairs!). The location is fantastic - all the subway lines are within a few blocks walk AND the High Line is literally 10 steps away so you can walk up & down town out of the noisy traffic. This was a last minute booking as our previous airbnb was cancelled by the host 72hrs before our arrival! We were truly very happy with our last minute find & will definitely try to stay again in Meritxell's flat for our next trip to NY.

  Comments: Everything was fantastic! Meritxell's home is beautiful, very clean, modern and comfortable. The space was perfect for two couples. The bedrooms have some separation, beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are quite elegant. Functional kitchen is open to the living room with seating to socialize and relax. The bonus is the balcony, which has nice city views and is great for enjoying the weather (when it cooperates). The area is nice. While neighborhoods are pretty subjective, Chelsea is a good one. We never felt unsafe, access to the Highline is right outside the door, and there are plenty of drinking and dining options within walking distance. The A, C and E trains are a couple of blocks away and other transit options are convenient as well. Meritxell went above and beyond to make our stay a good one; she happily obliged our check-in and check-out requests and touched base to make sure everything went smoothly. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to others.

  Comments: We are just back from an amazing 4 days in New York. A huge contributing factor in making this trip so special was staying at Meritexell's apartment. The location is spot on, with the subway a block away making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Chelsea is such a gorgeous neighbourhood. There is a great bar opposite the apartment and fantastic restaurant just around the corner that we used all the time. There are many other restaurants locally to. Chelsea Market is a short walk away and full of great foods. The apartment is fantastic and was big enough for 3 of us to hangout comfortably. The main bedroom having an amazingly comfortable bed. The balcony is an added bonus and has awesome views of the city. Meritxell was on the end of the phone if we needed any questions answered which was great to. I would highly recommend staying here. When we come back to NYC I hope to stay here again.

  Comments: Io e mio marito siamo stati nell'appartamento di Merixtell dal 2 al 7 Marzo. L'esperienza è stata positiva da tutti i punti di vista. Merixtell è stata una host perfetta, sempre veloce e precisa nelle risposte. L'appartamento è molto carino e attrezzato: è al 12esimo piano ed ha quindi una bella vista panoramica ed un bel terrazzino esposto a sud; è un appartamento elegante e le foto pubblicate sul sito delle stanze e del mobilio sono fedeli alla realtà; è molto confortevole perchè ha 2 bagni completi e una cucina molto attrezzata e con molti utensili. Noi siamo andati per l'Armory Show e per le mostre d'arte, quindi la location è perfetta, essendo l'appartamento al centro della zona artistica e delle gallerie d'arte di Chelsea; nelle vicinanze ci sono anche parecchi negozi e il Chelsea Market. Apprezzabile anche il servizio di portierato 24 ore al giorno. Piacevolissime passeggiate si possono fare sull'High Line e sull'Hudson River Greenway, che passano proprio sotto il palazzo. La posizione centrale tra Mid Town da un lato e il Village e Soho dall'altro permette di raggiungere velocemente tutti i punti di maggiore attrazione. Insomma, lo raccomanderei fortemente a chiunque.

This part of Chelsea is perfect; so close to popular hotspots yet not right in the middle of NY's chaos. Meritxell is a very responsive and thoughtful host...she even replied back to some last minute questions while she was out of the country! Four of us fit very comfortably in the apartment and enjoyed all the critter comforts that are often missing from NY apartments - patio space, 2 bathrooms, washer/dryer, etc. we all loved our time in Meritxell's apartment and would rent it again in a heartbeat.

  Comments: I spent 5 days at Meritxell's apartment with my family and we felt like at home. Her place is really cozy and quite, and everything works properly. Location can't be better to move along Manhattan, close to the High line and two blocks far from subway. There is a full assorted supermarket one block away (9th Av between 23rd and 24th St) where you'll find all you could need. Meritxell is a very nice host, answered quickly all our questions and was flexible with our needs. I truly recommend you to stay at her place.   Comments: Unsere Tage in New York bei Meritxell waren ganz wunderbar. Das Appartement war fast noch schöner als auf den Bilder, sehr schön hell und sonnig, geschmackvoll hochwertig eingerichtet, übersichtlich, sauber mit einer guten Lage. Meritxell haben wir nicht persönlich getroffen, aber sie war jederzeit erreichbar, total nett und hilfreich und check in und check out war ganz easy, weil es im Haus einen "Concierge" gibt, was wir herrlich fanden. Der einzig kleine Nachteil war, dass es keine Möglichkeit gibt eigene Sachen zu verstauen.

  Comments: Several emails were exchanged before the visit and the hostess provided information for our arrival and access to the apartment. The apartment was available from early on the day of arrival- great if your arrival is early in the morning, bu plane or ship. Any problems were quickly resolved. Meritxell was quick to provide information, even though she herself was (Website hidden by Airbnb) concierge made the apartment a very safe place to stay and were helpful.

After a month of travel it was nice to have such a wonderful place to stay to end our trip. Meritxell has stocked the apartment with lots of extra bits and pieces. We did a bit of cooking and there were loads of ingredients to make this easier. It is an honor system if you use something you replace it and if you buy something extra you just add it to the collection. It works really well. Having a 24 hour chemist in the corner that sells everything made this very easy to restock. Communication with meritxell was great. I certainly would recommend this apartment to anyone. We were 2 adult couples traveling together. One bedroom had an ensuite and the other bedroom had the bathroom next door. We were not cramped at all and had our privacy when needed.

The apartment is bright and super clean and quiet and spacious and comfy. Big bathrooms and super comfortable beds. Kitchen was really well appointed. Location was perfect for us as we walked the Highline and easily got cabs right in front. Had a very nice lunch at Le Pif right up the block. Loved this place. Will definitely be back!!!

Her apartment was clean and exactly as depicted online. There was a doorman that we checked in with who was helpful and polite. The apartment is literally right off the highline, in a perfect spot to access the subway, chelsea market, cute cafe's, etc. Every room has an awesome view of the city which was really nice, because we went with another couple and so we each wanted a nice view. We would ABSOLUTELY stay here again and I would definitely recommend this apartment!

The flat has everything you need to relax and cook some meals should you choose to do so. Having a bathroom for each bedroom was extra nice.   Comments: Wow, what a great spot in NYC. Amazing location, great building and perfect host at a great price. This is the perfect spot for up to 4 people. We were visiting with another married couple and the setup with the two bedroom and the common living room and kitchen was perfect. Way better than getting and paying for two hotel rooms without the amenities. Meritxell's communication and check in and out process was simple and easy. Great doormen at this building who were super helpful. There was demolition scheduled at the building during our stay and she gave us a heads up so we could plan our day around it (they ended up cancelling due to weather but the heads up was nice). The apartment was clean, wifi was perfect, nice TV and couch. Having in room laundry was nice as well. My best stay in NYC yet and we will definitely be back.

  Comments: We loved staying in this beautiful apartment. Many two bedrooms in NYC only have one bathroom. Meritxell's is a 2 bedroom 2 bath which was person for us 4 women enjoying a girls trip. The location is perfect. Very central to see all of the sights by either train or cab. The neighborhood is also wonderful to walk around and see tons of art or to enjoy the High Line Park. Meritxell is also a wonderful host. The beds, kitchen, showers, everything was high end. I definitely recommend Meritxell and her beautiful apt.

  Comments: There IS an elevator, and a doorman! This place is a "no brainer". It was clean, sunny, comfortable with nice views and amenities like gas range, washer/dryer, dishwasher and comfy beds with very dark shades if you need extra sleep. Meritxell left many open spaces for us to "move in" with our things like empty closets and drawers. Also empty drawers in the bathrooms, which I really appreciate! This location is very central with so much available mere steps away. My husband had to commute to Westchester for work so we had a rental car and no trouble with parking it at night in this hood. She was very courteous and checked in halfway to be sure we didn't need anything. We will stay again! Great trip.

  Comments: This apartment is ideally located. It's an easy walk from Penn Station and literally feet from the Highline. I was here with 3 women friends and the apartment worked great. 2 bathrooms not a must, but pretty nice when there are 4 of you. King bed in master with it's own bath was comfortable and spacious. 2nd bedroom with queen also comfortable. The fold out in the living room could use a new mattress and there is no way to darken the windows if someone is sleeping there (which we did). However, it was not a problem for us. The living room is spacious and allowed comfortable lounging to hang out, talk, and recover from exploring the city. Meritxell is great in communicating, responding quickly and helpful. Apartment is very clean and comfortable. Also, with windows closed, it VERY quiet. Kitchen is well equipped and although we didn't cook meals we did have breakfast and drinks and appetizers several times. Plenty of knives, glasses, etc. to make this easy. The kitchen is also stocked with basic food items (sugar, coffee filters, napkins, spices, etc.) which is also nice. If you are a walker this is ideal location. We walked down and back to Battery Park one day and up and back to Central Park then next. The Highline is outside your door, so super accessible. An inexpensive Uber or cab ride up to theater (Times Square). LOTS of good restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, etc. within easy walk (this is NYC so not unusual, but still good to know). Felt very safe coming and going to this apartment. 24 hour door man was a plus as was having an elevator, not lugging luggage up stairs is nice. Was a perfect apartment for our needs. Would highly recommend.

Subway just a couple blocks away, if you stay for a few days make sure you get the 7 day subway pass it's so worth it. The aircon is a real benefit right during the heatwave, Wifi is hassle free, and so convenient to have your own washer & dryer. The CVS on the corner is again perfectly situated to easily get a top up coke for your bourbon, or to get some more beers. Across the road from there is a good burger place too. Would definitely recommend Meritxell's apartment, she is great with her communication too, thank you so much!

  Comments: Our family enjoyed our stay at Meritxell's apartment. As most have commented on the location next to the Highline is wonderful. It is less easy to get crosstown if this is a requirement for you. We used the subway once to get to Brooklyn which was easy. Other times we walked and took Uber or Lyft if a bit further. If you are not rushed for time the location is convenient to most places in Manhattan. The apartment is well stocked with household supplies which makes cooking meals convenient and two full baths a bonus for NY. It is evident she lives in the apartment as we prefer to rent from home owners and not businesses that are all over Airbnb. The communication with Meritxell was quick and transparent. Meritxell is a lovely host as is her apartment. We would love to stay here the next time we are in NY. One of our best stays on Airbnb.

One thing I greatly appreciate is that it is obviously a legal airbnb so I don't have to pretend I'm a friend visiting so and so if asked. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are on opposite ends of the apartment so there is a lot of privacy. The location is perfect. Having a doorman is a huge plus! The apartment is well appointed, clean and comfortable. I already booked my next stay in NY at this apartment before I even checked out! Highly recommended.

  Comments: We would highly recommend this rental! A safe, fun location with convenient transit locations. We had 16 people from our tennis club in NYC for U. S. Open staying at four locations. The others used AirBNB and did not have nearly as nice a place to stay as we did. We boasted a bit. I thought the apartment was larger than it appeared on photos (which is unusual.) The doormen were very nice. We literally walked a few steps out the front door and up onto The High Line, which is fabulous, and it ends at the wonderful Chelsea Market! Don Giovanni around corner on 10th was great Italian and we found a great breakfast two blocks down at Chelsea Square (open 24 hr for those wee hours.) As space itself in NY already is luxury here is pure luxury by having an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and the vicinity is unbeatable.   Comments: Realized after checked-in at the apartment that 2 out of 3 air-conditioning were not working as the apartment was not cooling down after a while. Tried to call and sent message to Meritxell but without response. I contacted AirBnB which was very helpful in reaching out to the host and solving the issue. Meritxell finally responded and admitted that she was aware about airco broen downand would send a technician to look at it. The technician came and could not fix it so we had no choice but to looked for a new accommodation as it was not possible to stay without airco during hot August in NYC. Managed to get a full refund back from AirBnB but had to pay almost double to 2 hotel rooms due to last minute booking in high season. I understand this thing can happen but would appreciate if the host informed us upfront about the issue so we can already prepared for alternative solutions and not to find out ourselves after checking-in; having to spend hours looking for a solution and moving to another place.

  Comments: We had an Amazing Girls time in NYC. The condo was perfect! 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. There was a small balcony that looked over Chelsea and the Highline. Chelsea is the cutest little area with great restaurants and shops. We could not find a super close subway station so we mainly used Uber. We also decided that using the subway for 4 and using an Uber were very close in price and found the Uber to be much more convenient. The condo had the perfect amount of amenities. It was super clean! The showers were perfect with the right amount of water pressure. Meritxell was very responsive to several questions that arose while we were there. Edwin, the doorman was so kind and helpful! We will definitely stay here again!

  Comments: What an amazing place and location! We stayed for a long weekend while visiting the 9/11 memorial and museum (a must see), the Met, and taking in a couple of Broadway shows. The condo was perfect for the three of us and would easily accommodate more. We appreciated the decor, door men, views, neighborhood, and especially the quietness of the unit. It is a perfect place to take in all of the city while feeling a part of a neighborhood. We can't wait to return.
