  Comments: It would be difficult to overestimate how fantastic Hannah was as a host. We arrived in Sydney having been let down only 24 hours before arriving when our previous host gave us a late cancellation. We needed a property that could accommodate five children and Hannah came up trumps. Hannah remained in constant contact with us throughout that stressful arrival day and offered us her house for the week. She was an absolute lifesaver and rescued our holiday. (For the record, Lisa Peterson of L'Abode Accommodation let us down with the cancellation and never inquired about our welfare throughout our stay in Sydney !) Onto the house, it was beautiful, well equipped and a perfect location. Hannah and her family greeted us on our arrival and made us feel at home. We did not need anything extra and had a fantastic stay. We exchanged a couple of mails with Hannah during the week and knowing she was available was great. The shops are close - supermarkets / restaurants and it was quick and easy access to the City. Great spot. As I previously said, Hannah went out of her way to assist us and we are so grateful. Her house is perfect and if we are in Sydney again, I wouldn't hesitate to call Hannah again. 10 / 10...... Lisa Peterson of L'Abode accommodation was just appalling. Just imagine arriving in a city 12,000 miles from home (Sydney from London) with a wife and five kids and having no accommodation, with it being cancelled just six hours before you got on the plane, but email and with no personalized apology. Then magnify that issue with a host that just didn't (and obviously still doesn't care). This has really affected my view of Airbnb and I am not an advocate of the process, especially as I appear to be unable to warm other travellers about L'Abode Accommodation. I suppose Trip Adviser might assist but Airbnb should consider this for future.

  Comments: This was our first airbnb experience and it has been super positive. Hannah was very welcoming, sending us a beautiful info pack and answering our questions. We never met in person but felt she was available if we had any questions during our stay. The description of her place is accurate. Hannah has a flair for decorating and gardening and we loved the style of her house. We loved being able to walk to boutique shops, groceries, restaurants and of course THE beach! Our young teenage children would walk home from the beach on their own...Bondi has a hip young vibe and the house was always a great place to return to after a day at the beach or dinner at one of the many restaurants just around the corner. We would rent the house again if we ever return to Sydney.

  Comments: We had great holidays at Hanna's house. The place is beautiful and very comfortable. Specially the kitchen and the garden. The location is perfect. Hanna was a very good host, very helpful and kind with small details. Highly recommendable to spend holidays with the family!

  Comments: We were so excited about staying at Hannah's Bondi house with our son and friends from New Zealand. When we arrived, everyone was so happy about the fabulous location, the spacious size of the house and gorgeous garden complete with warm outdoor shower. We particularly liked the way the back of the kitchen could be opened up completely so the kids could run in and out. However, during our stay we started to notice a few things that didn't sit well with us. These were the issues we encountered: the upstairs toilet would flush during the night (waking us up); the flushing mechanism for the downstairs toilet wouldn't flush properly sometimes; three out of the four lights in the downstairs bathroom didn't work (which meant we were pretty much showering in the dark); the AC in the kitchen didn't work; on arrival we found old used soaps in both bathrooms; there were no instructions on how to connect to the internet; there was no ironing board, dustpan & brush, and only one plug for the two baths We got in touch with Hannah about some of these issues during our stay and indeed the bathroom lights were due to be fixed but this never happened. On our final morning when we were doing our final bits of packing, the cleaning team turned up half-an hour before check-out. We had very little warning about this and we felt this particularly unfair given we had two toddlers in the house. Overall, we felt that Hannah's house is not being kept/managed to a standard that warrants £326.00 a night. While we appreciate there will always be wear and tear in a family home, this property really needs some attention and updating. Erratic plumbing and broken lights shouldn't come as standard for a property at the price bracket.

  Comments: Let’s start this review on a positive note. The property is a nice size for a family of 4. It’s located in a great area and accessible to lots of amenities and the beach. It’s got great commitment areas (like, the family room and the kitchen ). Hannah is a responsive host, who accommodated our request for an early check in. Yet, we got got off to a rocky start. The property had a number of challenges (e.g., excessive dust & cobwebs throughout, bugs, malfunctioning lightning, chipped dishes, moldy smelling & outdated bathrooms, hard to use or leaking showers, etc.). We had to have the cleaners come back and still had to clean ourselves. It’s never good when you discover previous guests underwear under beds and need to treat for ants. For the price point, it’s hard for me to recommend this property (regardless of size of home and location).

  Comments: This was a great place. Very big by Sydney standards and amazing location. We really enjoyed the short walk to Bondi Beach every day. A few maintenance issues here and there from previous tenants however Hannah was very responsive and helpful when these were raised.

  Comments: HI Hannah, My husband and I loved our stay in your beautiful home. The location in Bondi within walking distance off the beach and all the great resturaunts was great thank so much for all your great local tips..we loved Lox Stock & Barrel for breakfasts! All the beds were so comfortable and we loved your linen sheets. The kitchen and backyard were so great for long lunches and we loved the fireplace next to the TV for movie nights. We had such a great stay and really appreciate you looking after us so well. We look forward to staying again when we are next in town! Thanks Nina

  Comments: Beautiful and cozy house in the most amazing location, just minutes from Bondi restaurants, shops and the beach! The kitchen was very well stocked, with beautiful little touches arranged for our arrival. We were made to feel very welcome! Having the entire house meant our family of five could relax with enough room! I thoroughly recommend booking this place!

  Comments: Hannah's home is spacious and very well equiped, especially if you like to cook or barbecue. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival and she provided a welcome package which included bread, milk and various snacks. While it is very well set up for families, especially those with young children, it would also be suitable to 3 or 4 couples. It is conveniently located about 5 minutes for the high street where you can find a butcher, a grocer, a bakery and a delicatessan as well a number of cafes and restaurants. It is about a 10 minute walk from Bondi Beach, so a perfect location for anyone looking for a beach holiday. Hannah was very quick to respond to our questions and gave us some helpful suggestions as to things to do while we were there. It was a 5 star visit.
