  Comments: Dont think you can ask for more from the host and the accommodation. No excuses here. If you are creative you can make almost anything with the kitchenette. Perfect location . All the privacy you need and conversation (mostly by text) but the host is always happy to pop in. Bed is comfortable and all the netflix ypu can have at your leisure. Go for it!

Michelle is a very friendly and good host! We are many worries about the holiday season, but I felt good about taking care of us. I had a little walking from Newtown station, but it was nice house, and a lot of famous places. We have a great time in Sydney! If you find accommodations, I recommend you here!

She was on point with anything extra I needed and even though the hallway between the main room and bathroom is just behind a partition I never felt like my privacy was compromised. Definitely recommend staying here if Newtown is convenient for your time in Sydney.

  Comments: I was only able to stay at Michele's location for the one night, upon arrival to Australia prior to other arrangements. It's a good quiet neighborhood and I had a good quiet stop. I stretched my legs a bit for a nice long walk from there to Chinatown and back, was able to use the Wifi for all my work needs, and appreciated the milk and berries & grapes available in the fridge.

  Comments: I only stayed at Michele's for one night but I'll definitely be back next time that I'm in Sydney! The accomodation was perfect, so close to the main streets of Newtown and public transport whilst also being secluded enough that I was able to relax and wind down during the night. The room had everything I could have asked for and even felt like my own little hotel suite. Michele was nothing but accomodating throughout my entire stay and I'd definitely recommend staying here to anybody thinking about it.

  Comments: Michele gave us a warm welcome and explained the suite to us on arrival. Place is handy to Newtown and public transport. Sofa bed was comfortable, and has a little kitchenette which is ideal for staying a few nights. Bathroom is brand new and very functional given the size. It is clean and the kitchenette is well stocked. Would definitely recommend staying here to my friends and would consider staying here again next time. It is a short 10min walk to Newtown station which is a few stops from the city centre which is really convenient.

  Comments: Michele was incredibly welcoming and kind, helping us with any request or question. The apartment has a very comfy bed and a superb bathroom, and was neat and clean when we entered. The neighborhood is very quiet, although it is only a short walking distance (about 8 minutes) from the train station, several pubs and coffee places and lots of restaurants. The only drawback is having a central air conditioning system, controlled from Michele's part of the house right next to the partition, though whenever heating was needed she quickly turned it on (responding in just a minute or two). Overall, this is an excellent value for your money's worth, and I highly recommend it.

  Comments: Michelle's place has a great feel and is more like a studio apartment. The private bathroom is a bonus and the privacy provided by a simple divider in the hallway is adequate while allowing for the homeliness of not being totally isolated from the family life of the house. Everything is brand new but one gets the impression that, even if it wasn't it would still be beautifully presented in Michelle's wonderful style. She has thought of everything which makes the stay a memorable experience.

The room is spacious and very comfortable with amenities to cook small meals if needed. The shower was great and looked very new. The bed was cozy and there was no noise from the street!   Comments: Michele was very easy to communicate with and the home was very easy to find! She did an amazing job accommodating us in many ways even though we only stayed one night. The neighborhood reminds us a bit of Brooklyn, as we are from the States. It’s quiet, yet you can take a short stroll to a park, cafe, and a main strip of restaurants and shop! She has great WiFi, and we stayed in a bit to work before going out to explore. We used the coffee press and snacked on some fresh strawberries and cereal she supplied.

  Comments: Im so appreciative of the time that Michele took out of her schedule to give me advice on where I could take my girlfriend for brekky and a massage, she went above and beyond, being helpful is a rare quality these days! The room had nice wooden floors, a high ceiling, comfy bed, was very well equipped and was private. The bathroom was super clean and modern. It was a quiet street but within walking distance of lots of cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops. I wont hesitate to stay again or to recommend to family and friends. Thanks for a great stay.   Comments: We had a great stay at this airbnb. The apartment was easy to access and Michele was very communicative and helpful. The apartment is well situated with close distance to both buses and the train station. Michele also provided some treats for us in the fridge upon arrival, which was very appreciated. However, we want to point out that the apartment is very perceptive. We got kindly told that we were too loud at 10:30 pm, and out of our four mornings we woke up to a screaming child twice. Apart from that we are very happy with this stay.

Couldn't be better located - a lively neighbourhood with lots to see and eat, close by the park and Newtown train station is only about 5min away - so only about 20-25 minutes to reach the Opera House and ferries.   Comments: Terrific place in a perfect location :) As the description says this is a room (& seperate bathroom) within a house - the area is partitioned from the rest of the house and has it's own door to the street, so it works. The room itself is terrific - Michele has made a lot of thoughtful touches (coffee, fresh milk etc) and it's very-clean. The area is perfect for exploring the inner-west of Sydney. Michele is a very responsive and generous host (inc kindly allowing us a later check-out due to our flights) - thank you!!

  Comments: Can’t recommend this place highly enough! It’s very close to the centre of Newtown, an up and coming suburb of Sydney with very good public transport access to the CBD/Opera House etc. Even an Uber to/from the airport is only roughly $25AUS! The place itself is perfect, you’re own secluded area of the house, cut off from the rest of it by a curtain, it very much feels like you’re own private space! Michele had even put out tea, coffee and cereal and fresh fruit, milk and cold water in the fridge for my own personal use. She’s really thought about everything! I would not hesitate to stay here again if I came to Sydney!

  Comments: I had a super smooth and comfortable stay. Newtown is a great, lively area, and I wish I had more time to poke around. I had a couple of snags with travel (broken lock, etc.) and Michelle was able to help me figure out a solution. The food/dishes situation is a little un-orthodox, but everything is clearly laid out, and works exactly as the description says. It was clean, quiet, stylish, and accessible to many interesting spots to check out & eat at. Textbook example of easy, restful place for my quick trip.

  Comments: Michele's place was conveniently located close to King street. The bathroom was clean and relatively new. It was not that difficult to find parking around in the area (over the weekend) and Michele was kind enough to provide visitor parking vouchers just in case we needed them. The large studio room has a door which isolated us from the rest of the house and we had our own bathroom. Loads of nice wee shops and eating places within easy walking distance. loved the street art and general good vibe in the area. felt very safe a a single female traveller. only 10 minutes to train and buses so easy to get into the city centre.   Comments: The flat got everything I needed. The neighbourhood is very quiet at night, but it is also quite close to the Newtown city centre. You can see the graffiti on the house when walking to train station. Just the bathroom is actually outside of the room which you will need to step to the hallway. Other things look fine and nice.

  Comments: We stayed with Michele for one night in September 2018. The room is within their home, but has its own private entrance and bathroom. The guest area is only separated from the hosts home by a curtain (there are doors on both the bedroom& bathroom!) although it is still very quiet and private. Michele is a great host and has set the space up well with a comfortable bed, nice towels & linen and tea and breakfast cereal provided. The location is great - a very quiet back street but only a few minutes walk to the bars and restaurants of Newtown.

  Comments: I spent two nights at Michele's place and had a great stay. It's near some cool cafes in Newtown (which Michele kindly recommended), and it's an easy walk to the train station. The space itself is fairly small but it's bright, modern and clean and had everything I needed. The fruit and cereal were great to have in the morning and the shower was excellent. Michele was also very accommodating about me dropping off my bag earlier in the day and was always quick to respond to any messages. I would happily stay here again!

It has dishes and flatware, and a plastic tub and drainer for washing dishes. The bathroom/shower are upscale and very nice. Michelle is quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and is very helpful. I’m sorry we weren’t able to coordinate our respective timing so we could meet in person. The location — Newton — is downscale trendy — close to the metro train station, so getting to places was fairly easy. We were pleased with our stay there. Amazing murals and graffiti.

  Comments: This is a very nice apartment at 7 min. walking distance from restaurants. It is ideal for a short stay. A small breakfast is included (cereals, few fruits, coffee) and should be eaten on the old chest while be sat on the sofa. Air conditioning is central, so don't expect it to have necessarily a cool temperature. The bathroom is outside the apartment, but close to the room. So you need to get out in a short passage that would normally goes the other apartment, but that is closed with a panel, to enter the bathroom. Because the top of the passage is open, when getting to the bathroom, you need to be quiet to ensure not disturbing the other people. Because that the only water point is at the bathroom, it's a bit complicated to wash the dishes, but Michele offers to wash it with her dishwasher. Communication with Michele is smooth and easy, and overall, it's a good quality for the price.

  Comments: Nice and clean studio, everything as described. The bathroom is very modern and very clean. Bedsheets and towels as well as milk, coffee and cereals provided. But keep in mind: If you are looking for a perfectly private accommodation this isn't it. You have your own room with your own front door. However, to get to your bathroom you need to use the hall the family also uses. There is a six-foot high partition in the hall but of course you can be heard/can hear when entering the bathroom etc.. Also not having a sink in your room can be a little awkward - although Michele offers to do your dishes if you send her an e-mail and leave the stuff by the partition. It's kind of like sharing a flat without talking to each other but hearing there is someone next door. Still, the family is very quite so if you don't mind that, it's fine. Newtown is the perfect location to discover Sidney, many botique shops and hip restaurants - it costs around 3 Aus $ to get to city centre by train; 10 mins walk to the station.
