Minhee's assistant, Divine, can help with almost any need that might arise during your stay. She went out of her way to get heaters for the apartment after we realized it would just be too cold to stay in.

  Comments: A very nice and clean apartment. The area is in a quiet, yet central neighbourhood, so its quite convenient. The place is well furnished with all the basic necessities, but lacks a TV - which should not be an issue if you are only staying a few days. Host was responsive and very responsible.. Would recommend a stay here.

  Comments: Apartment was clean and as pictured. Lovely neighborhood, lots of good restaurants around and a convenient distance to the MTR stop. Only caveat was that we were locked out on the first night since the main gate of the apartment building was broken and we needed a physical key instead of a door code to enter (not their fault, but building maintenance's fault for not informing tenants earlier). Thankfully, Divine (Minhee's assistant) was super helpful. She picked up our call and ran all the way to the apartment to gave us a new set of keys despite it being Sunday night and her day off.

  Comments: The location of Minhee's flat is totally perfect for those of us who find the noise in Hong Kong pretty hard to take! Sheung Wan is next to Central, so incredibly convenient, but unlike Central, is nice and peaceful - no car horns honking, no party animals drinking till dawn, and best of all, no construction sounds. Fantastic! The flat is up 3 flights of stairs, so you need to be fit and not have a heavy bag - however the advantage is that you get lots of lovely light and sunshine thanks to the many large windows. You get morning light and afternoon light due to the East/West orientation - so there are no humidity/damp issues unlike some other North-facing apartments in Hong Kong, nor is it too hot like some South-facing apartments in the summer. The flat itself is spacious by Hong Kong standards, but 2 couples might find it small unless they were on very close terms, haha! It was spotlessly clean, which was wonderful. The air-conditioner seemed very new and efficient (quiet too) so also nice and clean (unusual in Hong Kong which is full of old and dirty air-conditioners). I made a couple of suggestions to Minhee and since I definitely plan to come back, I am hopeful they will be adopted. Minhee and her assistant were both very nice, and easy to contact. She also let me check out a bit later (2pm) which I really appreciated. I left a coffee plunger for future guests because I think most people like a good cup of coffee. Maybe future guests can donate some other bits of kitchen stuff since all the basics are certainly there, but it is nice to have a few extras, particularly if there is more than one person staying.

  Comments: The Good: The apartment's location was very good, a bit up hill from Sheung Wan MTR station and at walkable distance from Aberdeen St. And Soho dinning area (towards Central district). There are plenty of little hipster coffeeshops, restaurants and shops around this area. Street art is all over too! There are a couple of big supermarkets near as well as convenience stores open 24/7. The apartment was equipped with the basics for barely 4 people. The less Good: We never met Minhee, the Airbnb profile's face. At the same day of check-in we were contacted by the assistant who left us the keys at given location eithout meetingnus face to face. Basically we didn't got to know who were hosting until Minhee's assistant appeared only because the bathrooms light broke on the first night. Promises were given to fix it, the assistant came to try change the bulbs but the lamp was really broken. Until we left we had no bathroom lights for the entire 8 nights nor further contact from Minhee or assistant. The apartment is on the 3rd floor of a narrow building without elevator, so carrying luggage up narrow stairs wasquite a challenge. Some cutlery and plates were incomplete missing one from a set of supposed 4 each. We found our rooms drawer cabinet coveredin dust, definately the apartment wasnt cleaned for some time. Nobody cared for us even at check-out day. We had to take initiative to remind the delegared assistant that we were leaving. Overall good location but zero human interaction with host(s).

  Comments: All of our contact with through Divine, who was lovely and did her best to accommodate us. Arrival was a bit of a drama, we were not sure when we would be getting there from Shenzhen so Divine left the keys for us to pick up when we did arrive (which was late). When we found the apartment and got in the internet/WiFi had run out of bandwidth, and our Chinese SIM cards would not work in HK. First thing the following morning Divine was at the door, of course we could not contact her to confirm that we did arrive, so she had come to replace the modem and we were then able to use Internet! Very thankful for that, although the HK tourist SIM that we bought later that day has 5gb data which was more than enough for our 4 night stay. The apartment is convenient to all locations, though no surprise as HK has one of the best public transport systems. For HK this apartment is very decent. Location, size, and amenities (perhaps not the cutlery or the bathroom light that needs mains-servicing) are well worth the price compared with other apartments. Definitely do try some of the Chinese restaurants on the streets further down from the apartment. English may not be spoken, but most seem to have English translations on their menus - and the food is MUCH better (and cheaper) than some of the more popular restaurants that serve your basic "sweet and sour"..

  Comments: My experience here was nice. Minhee and divine (her assistance) was very helpful. She allowed me to check in early (11.30am) and late check out (16.00pm) which i really appreciated. The location was great as many comments has mentioned. Very quiet neighborhood which i love. with a walkable distance to MTR Sheung Wan. We are family of 4. there's 2 rooms with 1 double bed each. i give one to my parents. But since I don't share bed with my brother. So he have to sleep at the sofa. But that's ok. the sofa is big enough for him (he's 185cm high and it's a new one not the red one in the picture) I saw the comment below mentioned about the light bulb in the bathroom. It still has not been fixed yet. i tried to change the light bulb with another one in the house but it still doesn't work. May be it's about the fuse. Quite difficult to use the bathroom with the little light from the outside (have to open the door all the time when using the bathroom) But the shower's water flow was nice. Strong and warm enough to relax your day. : For Thai People : This apartment is on the 4th floor! It's 3 in Hongkong and other European country. But in our country it's 4 (they count the ground floor as G and the 2nd floor as 1st) and it's quite an exercise to drag up you belonging up to the narrow stairs to the 4th floor T-T (no elevator) Over all it's a nice place to stay. I would definitely return if i'm coming with my friend next time. But for elderly i think it's a bit defficult for them to use the stairs.

  Comments: The apartment was really well located, not too far from transport links, lots of good bars and restaurants. PMQ was just around the corner which was a nice surprise. The actual apartment was clean and tidy and the air conditioning was good (it was very hot when we were over) Everything we needed was there, although there were so many good places to eat out we didn't actually use the kitchen. The bed was really comfortable, which was important as I am a light sleeper. The only thing worth noting is that the bathroom light hadn't been fixed (as mentioned in a few previous comments) so using the toilet/shower at night meant leaving the door open to get the light from the kitchen, which is okay if you are travelling as a couple or family. I was travelling with a male friend, so it wasn't so comfortable. Emails and messages were replied to really quickly when we were there. I was a little bit late arriving but Divine didn't seem to mind waiting for me with the keys. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks for your hospitality. We had a great time.

  Comments: The host was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with. The apartment is as described and suited my purposes wonderfully. During my stay in HK it was very hot and humid, but the apartment was very comfortable with airconditioning in the living room and bedrooms. The location was brilliant as it was very close to public transport (tram, bus and MTR). The apartment was very close shops and eateries whilst not being very noisy. Would recommend to anyone that want a comfortable, central apartment to stay in :)

I : 3:15 arrival at the airport Around 5pm they will arrive your place Host : Ok pls. Take the keys inside Minhee'mail box at no.38 sai St.sheung wan .then go up to 3rd floor with the frog logo door. Host : I cannot wait until 5 pm. thank you I : WOW!!! Host : I put the keys inside a plastic easy to get. I have some errands to do .so can't stay until 5 pm .thanks a lot! -Divine- And then, When my family arrived at the building, they found out there is no lift there. I : No lift??? Host : Yes. Host : This is a Chinese building no lift. I : You should have told me that. 3 ladies brought more than 20kg 3 carriers by themselves up to 4th floor No answer.... I : My mom is over 63years old.... No answer.... I : You dont care? Because she is NOT your mom? No answer.... I : At least i want you to help them to bring down carriers when they leave or ask somebody to help them And no answer untill now... My family did bring down 3 big carriers again by themselves when they left the building.

  Comments: The flat is located in a quiet artist's/antiques area of HK. Excellent location to access and explore HK. Communication with Divine was very good. Great value for money considering the high cost of hotels in HK. I would stay there again. Only glitch was that we were a party of 3 men needing 3 beds. Listing advertises 2 rooms/3 bed/4 guests. We arrived and there was no bedding for the sofa the first night. While it was remedied the second night, I don't think we should have had to request linens for a 3rd bed given the listing description.

  Comments: Super clean, best location. 감각적이고 청결한 숙소를 원하신다면. 강력추천!! 만모우 사원에서 1분거리에 있어서 지도를 보거나 택시를 탈때 만모우사원을 기준으로 찾을수 있어서 편했습니다. 에어비앤비 예약에서 가장 확신할수 없는부분이 청결이어서 걱정했는데 정말 깨끗하고 감각적인 예쁜집이었습니다. 사진보다 더 예뻐요:-) 숙소가 계단이 많아 조금 힘들었지만 오히려 현지인이 된기분이라 재미있게 다녔습니다. (대부분의 홍콩건물이 그러하듯) 건물은 약간 낡은듯 했지만 내부는 깨끗하게 리모델링이 되어있어서 현지인처럼 생활하는기분+현대적내부시설의 청결과 편리함으로 두가지 장점을 모두 가지고 있습니다. 3인이 이용할때 중저가 호텔과 비슷한 가격이라 그냥 호텔로 갈까 고민했었는데 2인실, 1인실, 거실로 나누어진 공간이 넉넉하고 편안해서 매우 만족스러운 선택이었습니다. 예약시참고사항 (단점은 아님!) 1. 엘레베이터 없음 2.샤워도구 부족 (수건은제공됨) 3.뜨거운물 매우 잘나옴 4.추울때 사용하는 히터있음

  Comments: i feel comfortable staying your apt. location was really good.. thank you. 위치 좋았어요. 셩완역에서 7분정도 걸리려나.. 트램도 근처에 있어서 이동하기 편했네요.딸이랑 남편이렇게 셋이 묵었는데 침대 2개 있어서 4명까지도 묶을수있을거같았어요.. 아파트 자체는 낡았지만... 안은 리모델링 해서 깔끔했구요... 주인은 만나지 못했지만.. WHAT'S 메신저 통하면 피드백은 해줬었구요... 주택가라 조용했어요.. 1. 공항에서 : 저희는 공항에서 A21타고 4번째 정류장인 마카오 페리 터미널 에서 내려서 육교 건너 웨스턴 마켓 따라 쭉 올라오면 되요...10분정도 걸렸나.. 구글맵으로 웨스턴 마켓에서 주소까지 찾아가는 맵 프린트 하면 찾기 어렵지 않더라구요... 호스트가 택스타라고 했는데 5살짜리 데리고도 찾아갈 정도였으니.. 어렵진 않을거에요.. 2. 가우키라는 양조위 단골국수집 찾는다고 센트럴에서 미드레벨 에스컬레이터 타고 어케저케 찾아갔더니.. 집에서 나와서 만모사원 거기서 아래쪽으로 내려가는 골목따라 내려가면 5분이면 가겠더군요... ㅋㅋ

  Comments: The apartment was spacious by Hong Kong standards and comfortable to stay in. Bed was very good and shower had good pressure and heat. Location of the apartment is excellent and I'd say it is in one of the best locations to stay in Hong Kong. The area is not too noisy at night, close to all types of restaurants and in general it's a nice area. Do take into consideration that there is some stairs up to the apartment - not a problem though for someone in normal health.

  Comments: Minhee's apartment in Sheung Wan is great! It is close to many public transport means and in the middle of where it happens. Minhee gave very good instructions, starting with a detailed description on how to find the apartment, ending with where to leave the keys after check-out. The apartment was clean and has enough space for a family with two little children. It was even equipped with a bunch of fuse adapters to be able to use German plugs. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Hong Kong! Minhee, we wish you all the best!

  Comments: Le logement correspond bien à sa description. Nous sommes à HK donc il ne faut pas s'attendre à une grande surface. Néanmoins pour les normes locales, il est confortable. Bien entretenu, bien équipé avec une salle de bain avec cabine de douche. Pas évident d'étendre son linge et de le faire sécher dans l'appartement donc nous avons utilisé une laverie très proche, rapide et très bon marché. Situé à moins de 10 min à pied du métro, l'appartement est au coeur d'un quartier agréable, plutôt central et pas très loin des piers pour emprunter les ferries vers les îles et Macau. La rue est calme, c'est appréciable à HK. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Minhee mais elle a répondu rapidement à chacune de nos demandes. Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour dans son appartement.

I did a late check in (Around 3am) and costs around 300 HKD by taxi from the airport. Clean place, hot shower available, kitchen utensils all equipped! I had a nice and comfortable stay with my family. Highly recommendable!

  Comments: Both the apartment and host were great! We received several messages beforehand outlining clear guidelines for check in and check out. At one point, we had an issue with the key (totally our fault) and the host responded to our message right away and was very helpful. The apartment was homey, comfortable, and great for a Hong Kong visit because of the fantastic location. It was a short walk to both the MTR and central/soho area and very accessible to nearby restaurants, cafes, and taxis if you wanted to leave the area. Would definitely stay here again when I come back to Hong Kong in the future!

  Comments: I really liked the place. It was nice, considered spacious, and clean. It was walking distance from MTR, which made it very convenient to get around in Hong Kong. Not only that, it was only a 10-15 min walk to Lan Kwai Fong, which is the downtown area that consisted of all the bars and clubs. We were also near many delicious restaurants. It was a prime location for the activities my friends and I were into. Definitely will book this Airbnb for future trips to Hong Kong!

  Comments: Minhee's apartment is in a really great area - outside of the Central/Wan Chai chaos and malls but close enough to walk to all the central areas. We arrived at 2am and were a bit unsure of the area but couldn't have chosen better. It has character and interesting little shops. There are also some great coffee shops and places to eat round the corner. There are quite a few hills and steps around which for us is fine and we enjoy walking around, someone less able might find it a struggle. The same with the apmnt being on the 3rd floor. We walked from there up the Peak which was a great walk but very hilly. Worth doing and good for the calves! All instructions provided were great. Access really easy especially with the code and key safe and, as we were off having different meetings, it meant we could both get back in at any time. The street is quiet but right off a key road and you're at the escalators and plenty of bars and restaurants in 10mins so it's a busy enough area and taxis are easy to find even at 5am when we left. I was with my boyfriend but as a woman I felt safe at all hours and on all streets and that applies throught HK in fact. I loved that we were in an old building rather than a new block. The flat itself is compact but fine for 2 of us. I think it would be a squeeze for more especially if you are in the flat a lot, but still doable - we were only there to sleep and refresh before heading back out again. Hot water is plentiful and the air con was great to have as it was hot and humid. We used the sitting room air con at night rather than the bedroom one as its quite loud and is covered by a blind. WiFi was great. We didn't use the kitchen for anything but it looked fine. Washing machine worked well and laundry products were provided. We asked whether there was an iron and ironing board and although there wasn't Minhee's assistant provided them the next morning which we were grateful for as we needed to have ironed shirts for meetings - thank you, Divine. We couldn't see a drying rack although there was something taped together down the side if the fridge which might have been one. That would have been helpful too. A few constructive comments - There was no hanging storage or drawers for clothing although 5 or 6 trouser hangers were provided so we just used the second bedroom to lay out all our clothes on the bed and hung hangers off the door handles. A very minor point with the sofa (but if you were inside using it a lot it would start to grate) is that the ends are just loose squares of foam standing free on the edge so...

  Comments: Minhee's apartment was great for our short stay in Hong Kong. It was conveniently located; the apartment was clean and nice. One thing to note is that the building doesn't have an elevator and you have to go up four flights of stairs to get to the apartment. An area of improvement for Minhee would be to provide simplified directions- especially coming from Sheung Wan station. The directions currently provided is one that takes you on a tour of the entire neighbourhood, which is great for sightseeing but confusing if you're just trying to find the apartment. All in all though, I was very pleased with the apartment and would certainly recommend it to anyone who's looking for a place to stay while in HK. Thanks Minhee!

  Comments: This darling little apartment is in a great neighborhood called Sheung Wan. The look and feel: Minhee did a great job designing the space. If you are traveling from the US or Australia and are used to space, this is a very distinct HK experience. If you are used to small spaces, you may be impressed with how Minhee used each corner, window, etc. this is definitely a designed ... Or "hipster" apartment. Practicality: Like much on HK, this apartment is on a hill and is a 4th floor walk-up. Ladies - don't bring too much and avoid the heels. Gents - the space is small so, if you are 5'10" or above and not a skinny twig, you may want to rethink this apt. Locality: One way streets suck everywhere. Cabbies don't know the place. But Uber works in HK nicely so you'll be fine between walking, uber and the MTR. In summary, yes - I'd stay there again. (But with a smaller suitcase. ;-))

  Comments: We have a good experience staying in this apartment overall. I wish that we can check in earlier and there is some flexible in check out timing too. However, i do understand that there is on coming guest. The staircase to apartment is will be difficult for elderly. Good and quiet surroundings. Nice cafe around and near a local market to have good local and cheap local food. Central is nearby that can take you to different part of cities by bus or MTR.

  Comments: The location of this apartment is fantastic, close to two undergorund stations. The apartment has a good size and it is very clean and bright. It is also very quiet and night with excellent air conditioning and hot water. Feel free to book this apartment, but make sure you print your own (Hidden by Airbnb) directions "before" you get to the place (if you are new to Hong Kong) because directions provided are very difficult to follow and inaccurate.

  Comments: Minhees apt was very clean and comfortable. It was a bit confusing to find the location to at first but overall was a wonderful experience. The mattress for the master bedroom was very nice and soft. My family sleep like a log every night. I knew that the place didn't have a elevator but when combined with the hot humidified Hong Kong weather it was very hard to climb those 3F of stairs. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

  Comments: We couldn't see the host because she forgot the appointment. After 2 hours from the time scheduled to meet, she sent msg. Location was fantastic but it was a bit difficult to let taxi drivers know the place. Unfortunately, Minhee doesn't know the address in Chinese. It'll be more helpful if the direction in Chinese is provided. Getting into her house from the front door was like a mission. We found it so much fun. There were no Shampoo & conditioner, Trance adapter and potable pocket wifi listed on 'Guest Access'. Overall, we liked 3 nights staying at Minhee's place we loved the atmosphere and clean bedding. 쇼파인지 의자인지 Byeo-rook(한글이나 영어로 쓰면 번역이 될까봐서..)이 있는것 같습니다. 한국사람들에게는 알려드리고 싶어서요.. 저는 좀 예민한 편이여서.. 좀 심하게 물렸습니다. 그것만 아니였음 전반적으로 아주 훌륭한 집입니다.

  Comments: Listing was accurate, exactly what we expected in a convenient location. Minhee provided detailed directions to the apartment and we found the place easily without fuss. The only thing to take note of is that the apartment is up 3 flights of stairs (there is no lift), which makes it painful if you're carrying luggage.

  Comments: 찾아가는데 고생했는데ㅜ 계속 오르막이라 짐이 있으시면 그냥 처음에는 만모사원으로 택시타서 구글맵치고 찾아가시는게 가장 나을 것 같구요, 셩완역이 정말 가까이에 있기는 합니다^^ 근처에 맛집이나 페리터미널, 센트럴, 소호, 란콰이퐁 모두 가까이에 있어서 위치상으로는 최적인거 같아요! 저희는 4명이 사용했는데 여분 베게와 이불도 주셔서 쇼파배드쓰기에 불편함이 없었어요! 건물계단이 가파르고 많아서ㅜ 짐이 많으시거나 무릎이 안좋으신 분은 힘드실듯ㅋㅋ 샴푸, 린스는 없지만 세제이용해서 세탁도 가능했고 깔끔하고 조용해서 여행내내 편히 지내다 왔습니다~!

  Comments: The place was exactly like in the photos. It was very clean and all the rooms were good sizes for a family of four. The Assistant, Divine, was exceptional! She responded to our questions within a few minutes each time. She provided lots of information about the local area and how to get around using public transit! Five stars to Divine! I would definitely stay there again. Although it is in the older part of the city, it's old-world charm is an attraction on its own! The only draw back is thre is no elevator. It can be challenging for older people to climb 4 flights of stairs each time going to and from home.

  Comments: The apartment suited our needs perfectly. Minhee was very lenient with our check in time, her instructions on how to get and return the key were very detailed, clear and easy to follow. The apartment had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were spare mattresses. The shower was surprisingly good! (I've lived in HK before and many bathroom/showers leave a lot to be desired). The bathroom is very tiny- as is usual in Hong Kong, so for a larger person it might be difficult to maneuver. It was totally fine for me and my family though! Be aware that it is a 3rd floor walk up, not a hard walk but if you're not used to it, it might be hard. Also note- the washing machine is not a washer- dryer. There are lines to hang your washing if you want, but we found a laundry just around the corner and they washed, dried and folded all our clothes- very cheap and they did it in one day! The wifi was great! Bring an ipad/laptop to watch if you need to unwind, there is no tv. The apartment was clean, tidy, well equipped and suited our needs perfectly. Minhee was very prompt with replies to enquiries and provided very clear and detailed information.

  Comments: Great location and fun neighborhood, with easy access to the subway. Plenty of space for two people, though the bathroom is a bit cramped. Everything was as promised. It was extremely hot the first few days and the air conditioner worked wonders. In-unit washer was also a great feature that let me pack lighter, though I had to get creative to dry them. Finding it was a bit of a challenge, mostly due to a few misleading street signs. It's just off Hollywood road, towards the bottom of Sai Street, on the left side if you are looking up the hill.

  Comments: Minhee's house location was great for travelers who want to discover truly lifestyle of HK people in many different ways!! It's very easy to find delicious traditional foods nearby and also you can enjoy soho lifestyle behind the uphill streets. Convenient to go to other places no matter by MTR or double decker bus!! But there are something maybe you should be noticed before you would like to stay in Minhee's house such like the shower room was really tiny and hard to take a nice shower, there don't much places to hang clothes and also lack of hanger, if you would bring large luggages or even you would like to shopping in HK then you better be prepared to carry your luggages with all your strength to climb up to 4 floors without lift or elevator in this building!! Maybe the building was not very new so you could find mosquitoes easily get into the house!! Although there are 2 bedrooms but you just will have only one bedroom key to lock up one of them and there's no safety box in the house, so be sure to put your valuables in the bedroom which could be locked up and very important to be sure you bring the key with you all the time because if you lost the key or even you leave the key inside the bedroom but you locked up the door just like me, then you just prepare to pay lots of money to call locksmith to open the door!! Because the housekeeper did not have the second key to open the door!! In short, it's not so satisfied in everything but you still could enjoy your holidays when you stay in Minhee 's guesthouse!!

As everyone noted she is a great and communicative host, and the location of the place is wonderful - very artsy, with loads of cafes and restaurants. The place itself was much bigger than i expected (from some of the things i read) - its a good sized HK 2 bedroom, and the toilet is as small as most of them are, but the shower is actually one of the better ones i have seen in HK. I would absolutely stay again as long as i didnt have a lot of heavy luggage (its a third floor walk up).

  Comments: 홍콩 숙소를 여러 번 경험해본지라 크게 기대하지 않았습니다. 그래도 후기들이 좋아서 다행이다 싶었는데 아쉬운 점들이 있네요. 에어컨 청소가 필요합니다. 거실 에어컨은 조절이 안되서 켜고 끄기만 되는데 얼마나 먼지가 많은지 놀랐습니다. 아이들이 3일 지내는 동안 목이 아파해서 좀 그랬습니다. 청소하시는 분을 쓰시는 것 같은데 청소가 깨끗하지 않아서 체크인 후 한나절 청소했습니다. 쇼파에 깔아놓은 얇은 담요는 손대기가 싫었고, 침대밑, 주방매트, 커텐 등 전반적으로 청결도가 떨어졌습니다. 제가 깔끔떠는 편이아닌데도 좀 짜증이 나더군요. 홍콩 날씨 때문에 빨래를 했는데 세타기가 참 오래된 것이고 한 번 세탁하면 오랫동안 작동해서 기다리다 지쳐 못 널고 잤습니다. 빨래 건조시킬 건조대가 없고 좁은 화장실 변기위에 선반 하나 있습니다. 화장실이 참 좁습니다. 와이파이 빠르고, 위치는 걸어다닐만한데 짐 많으면 고생일 듯 합니다. 체크인, 아웃 시간을 무척 지키는 호스트란 느낌 받았고 집 비밀번호는 체크인 약 45분 전에 받았습니다. 짐 보관등 서비스 없습니다. 아쉬운 점이 많은 후기이지만 집의 개선을 위해 솔찍하게 썼습니다.

  Comments: Pay attention! Avoid this place!! The apartment is far from the pics you see on Airbnb. Checking in directions are almost impossible to get...especially about the keys location. The house is dirty and almost all furniture is broken. 3 floor without a lift! We had a major issue with one of the room. Due to the wind, the door of the room got closed. I had my bag with documents, cards and what was supposed to be the room key inside! We called Minhee who sent a friend...who called a handyman. We had to pay for the handyman because no one had a copy of the key but what is truly ridiculous is this.... when the handyman managed to open the door we finally recovered the key and tried it. Well, guess what? It didn't work! So, basically we paid for a mistake that wasn't our and for a key that doesn't exist. We were very upset and disappointed. Emailed to Minhee asking for the refund of the 450 HKD paid for the handyman. She never replied and completely disappeared. We felt robbed. The worst experience ever with Airbnb!

  Comments: This is a decent place if the guests wish to live in a quieter neighbourhood that is still close to downtown. However, it is not recommended for guests who bring heavy luggage as it is a walk-up apartment (no elevators) and is up the slope more than 5 minutes away from the MTR. We also had a major issue checking in because the keypad to the front door was out of battery, leaving us stranded for a while until someone who lived in the building opened the door for us (we only knew the password but not the physical keys).

  Comments: Minhee’s place was the perfect place with access to everything and anything. MTR was a near walk. Mid Level Escalators was just a few blocks away. It was convenient and comfortable all at the same time. Very cosy space with all the necessary amenities. The walk up the staircase was just good exercise after scrumptious and delicious meals all over Hong Kong. Future guests and visitors will not be disappointed. Airbnb remarked it as a rare find and true enough, Minhee’s place lived up to the statement.

  Comments: This place is clean for the most part except the washing machine. Everything else is as advertised. The bathroom is extremely small and theres barely any closet to store clothes. But that's pretty typical of Hong Kong. The unit is located at higher elevation so one has to walk up the hill for a bit after getting off public transportation. In addition, there's no elevator in the building, which is mentioned in the listing. I have a toddler and elders and climbing up three flights of stairs turned out to be a little difficult. But the unit is good value overall.

  Comments: The location is great, so is the self check-in and out. The apartment was clean, though very cold in winter with no real heater. Sadly the photos aren't reliable anymore. The couch in the living room is now made up of the bed in the 2nd room, and it's falling apart left and right. We also had no board or extra chair in the main bedroom and no mirror in the bathroom. We mostly missed a table and chairs to properly eat. There is no cupboard to hang / store your clothes. And we had nothing to hang and dry our washed clothes on. We would recommend this place for short-term stays in the warmer season.

  Comments: 후기에 계단이 많다고 그래서 많아봤자라는 안일한 생각을 했어요. 근데 레알 팩트로 진심 개 많아요. 계단으로 시작한 여행, 계단으로 마무리 지었어요. 진심으로! 계단 정말 많아요. 들어갈 때 열쇠위치 찾는 거랑 문 여는 게 힘들었지만 익숙해지면 손쉽게 할 수 있어요 숙소에서 셩완역까지 가까운 듯 먼 거리지만 주변에 센트럴 역이나 지하철을 타고 다른 곳으로 가기에는 좋아요. 페리타기에도 나쁘지 않아요. 밤에 거리에 사람이 없어서 무서웠는데 낮에는 사람 많아요. 그래도 시끄럽지는 않아요! 화장실에 뜨거운 물이 잘 나올 때도 있고 안 나올 때도 있어서 뜨거운 물 나올 때 최대한 빨리 씻으시는 게 좋아요. 난방기 하나 있는데 2월에 그거 하나로 따뜻하게 지내기는 힘들어요. 좀 추워요! 변환기 있다고 했는데 한국코드로 쓸 수 있는 변환기는 없는 것 같아요 2개 챙겨가세요! 그래도 굉장히 넓고 예술적인 방이예요. 깨끗하시고 하고 많이 신경쓰셨다는 게 느껴져요! 호스트분도 친절하시고 질문에 대해 대답도 빠르신 편이여서 불편한 점을 최대한 줄일 수 있을 것 같아요! 잘 쉬다갑니다!

  Comments: 숙소는 괜찮아요 조용하고 깨끗하고 이불도 따숩고요. 근데 진짜 숙소 찾기가 힘들어요. 설명을 해주시기는 하는데 그냥 숙소 거리를 구글맵에 검색해서 그거 찾아가는게 더 찾기 쉬워요. 숙소에 계단만 있어서 짐 들고 올라가기에는 엄청 힘들었어요. 숙소 위치 빼고는 아주 좋았어요. 깔끔하고 조용하고요.

  Comments: 房东回复很及时｡房间照片跟实际相符,干净卫生｡两个卧室的套房,双人床很大,两个人分享完全没问题,适合家庭出游｡位置在上环地铁出口往山坡上行,不是很远,出门下坡两个路口就有各种交通工具了｡附近还有各种菜场､超市,家里的小厨房可以应付各种生活需要｡离港澳码头很近,步行500m可到达｡没有电梯,带大件行李爬4层楼会有点辛苦｡其他都很完美,下次还会入住

  Comments: Excellent point de chute pour un premier séjour a Hong Hong, à 10 minutes à pied de la station de train desservant directement l’aéroport. L’appartement est petit mais bien organisé, il présente en outre l’avantage d’être idéalement situé, à portée de tous les lieux de visite ou de sorties nocturnes, tout en étant particulièrement calme la nuit. Nous n’avons pas rencontré Minhee mais elle a répondu en temps réel à toutes nos questions et le système d’accès à l’immeuble et à l’appart était particulièrement simple, de même que le check out. Seul bémol, l’absence de système de rangement pour les affaires des voyageurs. Nous recommandons cet appartement pour une famille avec un ou deux enfants.

  Comments: Minhee’s place is really great. It’s close enough to both the metro and all the touristy stuff but also far enough that you aren’t paying exorbitant prices. Everything was walkable or accessible via MTR. Would recommend staying here

  Comments: Overall the place was a great value and we enjoyed our brief stay. The host was very responsive to questions. The place ended up being a little further of a walk from the MTR stations than I expected but I need to reread what the ad listing says again in terms of how close it portrayed it to be. According to (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps it is a 7 min walk to the closest station which is Sheun Wan. The biggest negative for me was that the hairdryer didn't work at all. The biggest unexpected positive for me was that the water pressure in the shower was really nice :)

  Comments: 우선 위치가 정말 좋습니다. 란콰이펑까지 정말 가까웠어요 위치 찾기 어렵다는분들 많은데 구글맵으로 찾아가면 정말 쉬워요 그리고 참고로 계단 얘기도 많은데 아마도 숙소가 좀 언덕쪽이라 역에서 숙소까지 걸어가는동안 나오는 계단 + 숙소 계단 때문에 더 힘들게 느껴지신 것 같네요 짐이 무거우신 분들은 힘들긴 하실듯 합니다. 짐 많으시면 택시를 타고 가세요ㅎ 아무튼 전 즐거운 시간을 보내고 왔습니다~

  Comments: Description of the place is as it indicated and its good. However not family or old folks friendly as have to climb four flights of stairs. Everything else is great. Do contact host to ensure you have checkin information prior to arrival. If you are not fussy about host communication during your stay you would be self sufficient. Cheers.

  Comments: The host did not provide the key to the gate at the bottom of the flat which is used by all flat owners. So the code works sometimes, but if somebody locks it with a key then it stops working. So I was locked out most days, including after midnight, for hours at a time sometimes. The host is very unresponsive to messages. Due to being locked out and unable to get my suitcase I almost missed my flight. The host was unwilling to respond to messages, and also provided 3 phone numbers to phone her on, none of which actually work. She also did not apologize for locking us out. She did eventually send somebody around with the key to the front door which we should have had from the start.

  Comments: We had a great time at Minhee's place! The flat is located in a really hip area of Sheung Wan - loads of local restaurants in the area. Walking from here through Central was a breeze which gave us access to plenty of sight-seeing and dining options. Check-in was easy, and the apartment was stocked with everything that we needed during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

  Comments: Worst host ever. The front door number doesn't work so we had to use key. But front door was changed so we had to get a new key. But host didn't read my msg neither answering the phone for a whole day. so we had to wait outside till someone comes out. House was cozy but room was too cold to sleep. I'll just book nice hotel next time.

  Comments: Minhee’s place is in a great location, but it gets a bit sticky inside (this was in the dry season, January), and the linens leave a bit to be desired. The place was somewhat dusty, and there wasn’t any coffee provided—certainly not a requirement but always a major perk....
