  Comments: Steven was a great host. We really had a great time there. The place was nice and clean. Everthing was fantastic except the neighborhood. it was not convenient to buy the food as there were no good market or grocery store nearby. I would recommend if you stay for only few days.

  Comments: La chambre est parfaitement conforme à la photo, les lits sont excellents, nous avions notre entrée privée et la salle de bain est juste à côté est très agréable. Les 4 autres chambres de la maison était occupées et pourtant nous n'avons jamais eu à attendre pour la salle de bain. Nous sommes partis en juillet et il faisait très chaud dehors mais l'appartement possède une climatisation centralisée qui fait que nous étions parfaitement bien à l'intérieur. Nous n'avons pas vu Steven en personne mais il a répondu à chacune de mes questions dans la minute. N'hésitez pas à le contacter si besoin. Le quartier est Afro-Américain mais extrêmement familial. Les enfants jouent sur les trottoirs, les personnes âgées discutent sur les perrons et tout le monde est prêt à vous aider si vous êtes perdus. Il faut marcher pour aller au métro ou au supermarché mais à NY on marche beaucoup de toute façon... Je recommande vivement cet appartement, je ne pense pas que nous aurions pu trouver un meilleur rapport qualité/prix.

  Comments: For the price you have good quality. 2 big and clean bathrooms. A big livingroom. You share it with other people. The bedroom was very small when you with 3 people. We had problems with the bed but when we contacted Steven he came in a hour to fix it. It is a small 10 minutes walk to the subway. Fom there you are in 20 a 30 minutes in manhatten. The neighboorhoud and the house are noisy. and the in the house nxt to you they are building. They start around 8. So tip bring your earplugs with you. At our last day we were alowed to leave our luggage in the livingroom because we had a late flight. That was very fine.

  Comments: The room and the house were clean and fully equipped. The first times it took us an hour to go to Manhattan by metro, then we realized it would take less by changing from line C to A. If we had met Steven, he might have told us, but unfortunately we did not receive any assistance. The closest metro station does not have any elevator or facilities for strollers or wheelchair so I would recommend this accomodation if you don't need them.

  Comments: The booking was made with Steven 8 months in advance but everithing was ready before our arrival. Thanks for that. The rooms are spacious enough and it is very interesting to be able to use 2 different bathrooms. The fridge offers places per room sufficiently large. The situation of the apartement is ok regarding transports to Manhattan. We faced 1 problem (loss of key) and received a double 2 days after. Thus, in case of urgency, (arrived during the week-end), the assistance could be quickest. But, we will keep good memories from NY and the apartement.

  Comments: Nous sommes restes, avec ma meilleure amie, 15 jours. L'appartement est vraiment bien, tres fonctionnel. Vu qu'il y a 2 salles de bains, nous n'avons jamais eu d'attentes. La piece a vivre est tres pratique et nous avons, dans la cuisine, tout le necessaire pour nous restaurer. Il y a quand meme eu un petit probleme, la chambre est pas tres bien isolee donc on a juste entendu quand le voisin du dessus rentrait et sortait.

  Comments: Everything was as advertised. We stayed in room no. 1, it was small but lack of heating in the room and I could not dry out my wet hat for 3 days. Subway Blue C line takes You from Kingston Av./Throop Av. in 20min. to Lower Manhattan. Very nice tenement house. Finally I would recommend it.

  Comments: Everything was fine. Steven gave us all the information we needed to check in and check out. The room is a little bit small for 3 people but beds are big enough, it's clean and nice. The rest of the house is nice as well. We just had a problem with WiFi the last day. There was no connexion anymore. Anyway, it was a great trip ! :)

  Comments: Le séjour chez Steven s'est bien passé, nous sommes restés 4 jours. Nous avions une chambre avec entrée et sortie directe. Ensemble très propre. Nous entendions tous les soirs le voisin du dessus qui mettait sa musique très fort. Gros bémol après une longue journée de visite... Il faut compter 10 bonnes minutes pour la 1ère station de métro. Par contre le quartier autour de l'appartement n'est vraiment pas beau. Nous n'avons pas vu Steven de tout notre séjour. Il n'y avait que d'autres voyageurs avec nous (5 autres chambres mais pas de problèmes avec eux)

  Comments: Hi Steven Everything was ok for us 3 in the room, only a little tidy but we weren't there the whole day only for sleeping so fine for us. Also enough clothing-space! We used both bathrooms, when they where available. Bathroom upstairs was GREAT. Kitchen GREAT. We definitely recommend this room to our friends if they like to stay in Brooklyn.   Comments: Le logement était conforme aux photos, la chambre était propre et les lits étaient confortables. Quartier calme mais il est vrai que les allés-retours du voisin du dessus sont vite devenus gênants ainsi que sa machine à laver qui faisait trembler le plafond la nuit (c'est arrivé 2 fois sur une période de 10 nuits). Autrement l'appartement est top, le ménage est fait régulièrement et Steven a répondu à tous les messages avant et pendant notre séjour.

La maison, très bien aménagée, est partagée, avec 5 chambres accueillant d'autres voyageurs et cela est plutôt plaisant. Vous rencontrerez d'autres nationalités et parlerez anglais! Steven est très à l'écoute et très réactif. Le seul bémol est que cette chambre donne directement sur l'extérieur et est parfois bruyante.

  Comments: Had a great time in the city. Place was as described, room was clean and had plenty of closet space. Neighbors were a little loud and the walls are a bit thin so you can hear them and the other renters in the same unit. Loved that we had a private entrance to the room. Never met the host but he communicated back quickly as well as being flexible with the check out time.

  Comments: Location is great to get to Manhattan, as this place is just blocks away from the subway station. Stephen is a great communicator and was very quick with responding. It was kind of a bummer that none of the lights worked in our room besides the lamp that was next to the bed but we weren't home that much so it didn't really bother us much. Other than that, this is definitely a fun place to stay in Brooklyn, as this entire apartment has been rennovated. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to NYC.

  Comments: 맨해튼과의 접근성이 생각보다 떨어진다는 점이 단점이었어요! 지하철이 우리나라처럼 제 시간에 잘 안와서 미드타운에 가려면 한시간이 조금 넘았아요. 숙소와 지하철역까지의 거리도 가까운 편은 아니였아요. 방은 사진과 같구 크기는 생각보다는 안락했습니다. 화장실은 2층 화장실이 예뻐요! 청결은 같이 사용하는 사람들에 따라 다를 것 같아요!!

  Comments: Generelly the appartment is modern and the communication worked perfectly. However other rooms of the appartment were also occupied by several airbnbguests and it was very noisy especially at night, so it felt like staying at a hostel. Furthermore there were hairs from the guests before on the bed sheets and the bedframe was broken. The kitchen and the bathroom were modern and spacious.

  Comments: This is a really great deal for the location and the amenities! The room has a private entrance from the street, which is very convenient. The bed was super comfortable with nice pillows. However, the room is adjacent to the street, so there can be some loud noises at night or in the morning for light sleepers. Towels and travel sized shampoo and conditioner were provided, along with a couple granola bars, which was a nice touch. We really enjoyed the place!

  Comments: Being that we stayed in crown heights to check out the neighborhood, it was a great way to be introduced to the area. The amenities are superb and the access to a private entrance really makes the the room feel like it's very own little little apartment within an apartment. During our stay we took the subway during the day and at night we took an uber pool that never cost more that 8 bucks. The place was really well kept and I am using that bathroom as inspiration to what I want for my next bathroom! Overall 5 out of 5 !

  Comments: Das Airbnb bei Steven ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen! Es ist sehr schön eingerichtet und man kommt sehr schnell in Kontakt mit den anderen Gästen! Auch der Weg zur nächsten Subway-Station ist in 5 Minuten zu bewältigen. Insbesondere Check-In und Check-Out liefen besonders reibungslos ab. Für den Preis wird es schwierig, etwas besseres in NYC zu finden!

  Comments: The place is clean and very stylish. Subway is 7 minutes walk and it will take you straight to times square, central park and the other usual suspects. The neighbours in the building may be a bit loud especially because my room had a private entrance adjacent to the building entrance. But all other rooms are internal so maybe just request a quiet room while booking and Steven will sort you out.

  Comments: The house was warm and well furnished. The room was also very cozy and nice. The location was ok if you are available to take regularly the subway for at least 30/40 minutes to go to Manhattan and if you are adatable to the area in which it is located. Since several guests are in the house I suggest to wake up early to avoid long waiting times for using the restroom. All the rest was perfect. I reccomend this place for the relationship between price and comforts.

The upstairs bathroom is beautiful and I will miss taking baths in that bathtub, as well as using the rainfall shower. The living area and kitchen downstairs is also very open and nice. All seems very recently renovated and up to date. Washer and dryer was very convenient as well! Steven is a very responsive and conscientious host.

  Comments: We had a great week in NY. We didn't spent much time in the house, but it had everything we needed, it was clean and the room was good as well. The street is a bit noisy, so if you are looking for a quite place ask Steven to get a room on the inside of the house. Be aware that you are in Brooklin and so the neighborhood is sometimes a bit scaring. Still we didn't have any problem.

  Comments: The only thing that was bad during our stay were the fruit flies in the kitchen, although we didnt really mind. There were fly tapes and no food was left out, but due to the heat and humidity, I suppose a Brooklyn kitchen is an ideal place for them. The guy who cleaned the kitchen did apologise for them multiple times and tried to get rid of them the best he could.

  Comments: This is one of the best Airbnbs I've stayed in. The area is pretty quiet for the most part and seemed pretty safe over the duration of our stay. We stayed during a storm, so we were really appreciative of the heater. The room is pretty close to the A/C subway stops, and the private entrance is nice. My absolute favorite part was the bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower and beautiful bathtub. Steven was very quick to respond and very clear/accommodating with check-in.

  Comments: My son and I stayed at Steven’s place for 5 days. Our stay was great. Didn’t spend lots of time there since we were busy exploring the city, but for the most part it was a great place to rest. The bed was super comfortable. We definitely appreciated the heater.   Comments: Spacious apartment in Brooklyn with ample bathrooms and large kitchen. Easy access to either the A express train (Utica Ave Station) and the C train (Kingston-Throop Station). It takes approximately 30-40 minutes to get into Manhattan (midtown). Subway travel to Williamsburg is more complex, and takes a deceptively lengthy period of time to reach. The area is safe, has a bodega metres away on the corner, and plenty of shops on Fulton Street. The bathrooms are well maintained and regularly cleaned. The upstairs bathroom even includes a large free-standing bath. Overall excellent accommodation with good value for money, but somewhat isolated from most traveler’s idea of the Big Apple

  Comments: Steven and his co-host were necessarily communicative, however, in strictly reviewing the living space in an objective manner there are a few seminal pieces of information future guests need keep-in-mind. Both community bathrooms were inundated with Stachybotrys Mold. To your average pedestrian it goes unnoticed beyond any apparent 'moldy towel' smell after a shower but the ramifications are extensive and dangerous...beyond concerning. Additionally, the private room (1) I stayed in had significant water damage (I will upload images if prompted) making for an even more uneasy inhabitable feeling during my time. Luckily, Im a NYer back on business so I had resources and family to reach out to for showering purposes during the week in-between running around for business obligations. The next guests might not be so lucky and I'd hate for their entire experience to be ruined due to the host' negligence. Do your own DueDiligence on mold exposure, be mindful, its dangerous and easily unnoticed. (Clearly)

  Comments: Living and dining room are as advertised. There are a total of 5 room with 2 bathrooms shared between these rooms. 1 bathroom on the first floor shared by three rooms and 1 bathroom on the second floor shared by two rooms. There can be problems in using the bathrooms if all rooms are occupied. Bedroom is also quite small but should not be an issue if the room is only used to sleep. No TV in the living area or the bedrooms. Area is residential and not much to do near the location and you have to head in to Manhattan or other parts of Brooklyn for things to do which requires subway or bus ride (although host may be able to provide more details on what to do near the location).

  Comments: I admit being slightly concerned about a couple of the recent reviews but I'm very glad I stayed here. Steven obviously cares about his hosting duties and with previous guest feedback he's really endeavored to improve and perfect the space and room as much as possible. The bathrooms and bedroom were very clean (and I am pretty meticulous). He reached out during my stay to ask if everything was all right and if he could help with anything which was appreciated. Overall an amazing value for the price, convenient to downtown Manhattan. Citi bikes nearby and cheap Uber rides to downtown Brooklyn.. Kitchen was stocked with everything you need to make a meal Can't recommend his place enough. I'll be back!

Our room was awesome because we had our own separate entrance so coming and going was exceptionally easy. I liked the fact that Room #1 has it own direct access to outside so I didn’t have to be bother with interacting with the other tenants! I loved the little helpful notes left around the house. I stayed for a week so what I spent for a week at Steven’s place you could easily spend one night in a hotel in NYC. So I really felt like I got my money’s worth! We caught the bus and subway just about everywhere. Steven’s tip about the metro card was golden. Steven’s bathroom was the best it made me feel very at home. Only thing that bugged me was the tenants during my stay. They were not the tidiest of people, but Steven has cleaners that come on Thursday’s and they cleaned everything spotless!! Overall nice place and when we come again I’ll be looking to book here first!

  Comments: Steven’s place is exactly as described, perfect for travellers who are looking for a clean, no frills location a little away from the city. We were mostly out and about so we didn’t spend too much time at the Airbnb but we had everything we needed when we did spend time here. I loved how hot the showers get and how easy our stay was in general! Overall, great value for your money.

  Comments: The appartement was nice but the bathromm and the kitchen were a little bit dirty and other persons are with you in the house. So it was often noisy and they took our things from the fridge. Taking all together it was okay.

  Comments: Our stay in Steven's apartment was great. He was very fast and clear with all instructions and information prior to and during our stay. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from and to the subway we normally used. The neighborhood is pretty quiet and has a very distinct suburb feel - which is nice after spending all day in the busy city. The apartment itself was modern, clean and had everything necessary for a vacation home. Five stars from us!
