  Comments: This room and apartment are a great little find - in a lovely quiet area in Rozelle with great transport links into the city via bus and walking distance to some awesome pubs & into Balmain. You could also walk into the CBD in 40 mins (which we did a few times across the Anzac Bridge). We stayed with Duncan and Ashlee for three weeks and they are perfect hosts - gave us space to do our own thing but always there if we needed advice on Sydney (it was our first time to the city) and generally great company. The room itself is spacious and well furnished with plenty of space for storage, the bed was really comfy with an electric blanket for when the nights got a little chilly, and Duncan's information sheet in the bedroom was a great reference point. Kitchen, Living Room and Bathroom are ample sized and well equipped. There is nothing I can fault this property on nor the hosts - a great first experience of Airbnb and Sydney for us. Thank you so much guys!

  Comments: Excellent and cheap accomodation! The best Thing is that you can take all the buses and it is just 1 busstop to the CBD! Duncan is very very friendly and funny. The room is tidy, good bed, there is enough space (also in the kitchen) and it is a calm place. I really recommend this apartment! :-)

  Comments: Duncan and Ashlee provide a lovely room and good, friendly experience and stay. The room is very clean and set up perfectly for arrival with a lot of space to store personal items and clothes. Everything was made easy and hassle-free, and the location itself is perfect for a quick tram or bus into town, so it easy to find be first time also. We didn't get to chat much with the hosts as we were coming and going and exploring, but we enjoyed our short time spent in their company. We recommend this place for all aspects of a stay, and would be happy to stay longer than the 4 nights we had there.

  Comments: Lovely hosts, beautiful place, perfect stay! We loved staying with Ashlee and Duncan and really enjoyed chatting with them! They we're so friendly, caring and we felt very welcome! The guest room is perfectly equipped, the bed so comfortable and we could really feel that they're both experienced travellers and therefore know about travellers' needs: chocolate on the bed, maps and recommendations, the cleanliness of the whole place and the warm atmosphere, everything just perfect! The apartment is also located very good, it is quiet, perfect for a relaxing sleep, but at the same time very easy to get around from there and we felt very safe in the nice neighborhood! Of course communication was very easy too! Highly recommended, if we return to Sydney we would love to stay with Ashlee and Duncan again! Thank you so much for everything!!

  Comments: This was my first Airbnb stay, and what a great start. No nasty surprises, the accommodation was just as described, comfy, clean, great almost inner city location and affordable. The information sheet provided with the accommodation was perfectly understandable & helpful for anyone who is not a Sydney local, like me. And the little touches that make it special were unexpected but lovely...the Lindor Balls, the Frangipani toiletries, all add to a relaxing experience.Duncan and Ashlee were fabulous hosts who are happy to be as involved as you want them to be and have a wealth of info on many things, as well as the odd anecdote or two. Very easygoing and personable, couldn't fault them! Couldn't be happier with my first visit, and hopefully I will have the opportunity to stay with them again in the future, now that I've fallen in love with Rozelle just a little bit more.

  Comments: I had such a great stay with Duncan and Ashley. Their little apartment was very inviting and had everything I needed. It was clean and tidy and nicely presented with bunches of flowers which were replaced/refreshed during my stay. More little touches such as the brand new white fluffy towels rolled on the end of my bed and topped with Lindt Chocolates made this stay a really pleasant experience. And as for Duncan and Ashley.....these are two super friendly, interesting and generous people. I had a great chat with Duncan when I arrived and he invited me to come on his boat... and then chatting to Ashley on the last night she offered to come along with me to a gallery the following day. These two go out of their way to include you in Sydney. I could not recommend this AirBnB enough.

  Comments: I booked Duncan's place with only a few days notice. I arrived to a lovely cosy house which was clean and tidy. Duncan was an awesome, entertaining host. But was rarely around due to his work commitments. The room was quiet, tidy and warm. The bed I have to say was the comfiest bed I've slept in for a long while. I really could charge my batteries up here! Access to Sydney CBD was super easy, only being a 5 min walk from the bus stop. I also met Ashley, who took my out to a really great quiz night.

It is in a brilliant location just 1 bus stop from the city and has a lot of good restaurants and bars on Darling Street. They were very welcoming hosts and we felt at home and comfortable for the duration of our stay. It was a good sized room and the place was clean and had everything we needed and more. They also cooked us dinner later in the stay which was very nice! I would recommend staying here very much!!

  Comments: This is my first time Airbnb experience. It was lucky for Liena and me to stay with Duncan and Ashlee for a month. They are nice, genuine and funny! The unit is exactly what it looks like on the picture. The space and the bed are enough for two people to stay. A wardrobe and a chest of drawers are enough for us to place our belongings. There were lots of hangers as well. Duncan prepared a cupboard for us and we had space in refrigerator. And he even prepared Opal cards, though we chose to use ours. The whole apartment is tidy and clean. It's really comfortable. Living here won't be disturbed by noise. And the house is really closed to Town Hall (5 minutes by bus) , which is in CBD. It saved plenty of times and money when traveling around. Though my English is not well to express clearly, Duncan and Ashlee were so kind they listened carefully. It was definitely funny learning Australian culture or slang with them! They 're both willing to share and help. Sometimes they would serve us food, two of them are good at cooking. Liena and I appreciate their kindness, because during our stay we had made inconveniences they still treated us truly. It's absolutely worth to stay with them and learning Australia from them. Best choice!

  Comments: I've never been to Australia before and I didn't know anybody in Sydney, nor did I know how to get around when I arrived, so naturally I was a little nervous. However, both Duncan and Ashlee put me at ease, they are very friendly and easy-going people who showed me the nearest bus routes and had Opel bus passes readily available. After we introduced ourselves, I was able to go out to the nearest grocery to buy food. Plus they are centrally located. They are very close to the Sydney Opera House and to the Sydney Exhibition Centre on Glebe Island where OZ Comic Con took place the weekend I was there. They also took me out for a beer and invited me to their whale-watching boat trip where I actually got to see whales! Room was very nice and cozy, I got use of the kitchen and even the living room to watch TV. Bathroom was clean too. And very quiet too, I slept soundly all six nights I was there. And they have free wi-fi. They also provided towels, soap and shampoo. Finally, you can't beat the price especially for that location!. If I ever visit Sydney again in the future, I would love to be at their place again! : )

  Comments: My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere to stay in Sydney that was good value for money but with a homely feel and Duncan's place didn't disappoint. The room has so many little details from all the maps, the welcome information to the lindt chocolates on the towels! Although Ashlee and Duncan lead very busy lifestyles, they were always very friendly when they were around and made our stay very comfortable. The location is so convenient to get right into the heart of Sydney, just a short bus trip away (literally!) If you're considering between a hostel/hotel in the city or this air bnb - book the air bnb. It's really good value for money in a city that definitely comes with a hefty price tag.

  Comments: They kept me updated how early I can check in, and even sent me a notifier when the room was ready. Through the stay they were both real friendly, open, helpful, plus they surely can give you a few tips what to see and where to go! The room is clean, comfy, a small heater unit is also provided if you happened to come at wintertime. We are fully satisfied with the room and recommend it to anyone lookinh for a safe, nice stay in Sydney!

  Comments: Duncan and Ashlee weren't just any hosts to us but they became our Australian Family. They're both incredibly funny, kind and helpful. The apartment itself is super clean and the room is very spacious and comfortable. They provide everything you need. Even if something were missing they would make sure that you get it. The first night I mentioned that I'm scared of insects and the next day Ashlee came home and placed baits all over the apartment just in case. In the 6 weeks we stayed with them they helped us with so many different things completely unrelated to their apartment and just made us feel so very welcome and at home. We spent Christmas and New Year's Eve with them and those two are so lovely people, you couldn't wish for better friends and especially not for better AirBnb Hosts. Duncan and Ashlee: thank you so much for everything, we are so happy that we got the chance to meet you both.

  Comments: Duncan's place was a perfect Airbnb. Duncan and Ashlee were welcoming, helpful and made sure that the entire stay was as hassle-free as they possibly could. They are Super Hosts who are very experienced in thinking of the things that a guest will need, well in advance of the guesting thinking of those things themselves! The room and apartment is meticulously clean, the location is very good for the heart of the CBD (5 minutes over Anzac Bridge / 1 bus stop to the city). I don't think Duncan and Ashlee could have done any more as hosts to improve my stay in Sydney. They were excellent - thank you Duncan and Ashlee!! .

  Comments: Unser Aufenthalt bei Duncan und Ashlee war wirklich klasse! Die beiden waren supernett und haben uns bei all unseren Fragen geholfen. Außerdem war die Wohnung sehr gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was man so brauchte, sodass man sich sofort zu Hause fühlen konnte. An unserem letzten Abend hat Ashlee sogar für uns alle ein leckeres asiatisches Gericht gekocht. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden sofort nochmal zurückkommen, sollten wir wieder in Sydney sein.

  Comments: Nous avons passé une dizaine de jours très agréables chez Ashlee et Duncan. La chambre est confortable, le quartier est calme (avec quelques restaurants un peu plus loin). Ashlee nous a donné de très bons conseil pour visiter Sydney et nous nous a fait sentir comme chez nous : cuisine et salon libres d'accès, possibilité d'utiliser le lave-linge,… Le logement est un peu éloigné du CBD à pied, mais beaucoup de bus passent à quelques mètres du logement et sont direct vers le centre (5 minutes de bus à peine). C'est une bonne adresse et nous le recommandons à tous ceux qui veulent rencontrer des sydneysiders :)

  Comments: Die Unterkunft ist schlicht aber sehr schön eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Man ist zu Fuß in 5 Minuten an der Bushaltestelle und braucht ca. 15 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und es hat einen Park in der Nähe. Man kann auch sehr schöne Spaziergänge um die Hafenbuchten unternehmen, die besonders schön beim Sonnenuntergang sind. Ashlee und Duncan sind zwei wundervolle Menschen und sind weitaus mehr als nur Gastgeber! Wir hatten 5 unvergessliche Monate mit ihnen und sind überglücklich sie kennen gelernt zu haben! Herzlichen Dank nochmal für alles was ihr für uns getan habt! Es gibt nur positives über die Beiden und ihrer Unterkunft zusagen.❤

I was in Sydney for business, and also enjoyed the beautiful walk to Circular Quay. For those who prefer not to walk, there was plenty of public transport. Their home was clean, tidy and homey. It was a great stay; I enjoyed the comfortable bed, excellent shower pressure and evenings chilling out in front of the TV. I can only highly recommend staying with them; you'll be in a great location in fantastic hands.

  Comments: Duncan and Ashlee's flat is in a lovely area of Sydney. It is close to some lovely parklands going down to the waterfront, near the shops at Rozelle, the amazing Orange Grove market on a Saturday and has good links into the City Centre. The room for one or two people is of a good size, the bed is comfy and the whole flat spotlessly tidy and clean. I thoroughly recommend Duncan and Ashlee - they are great hosts.
