  Comments: First guest! :) My days couldn't be better. Patricia is a great host. She helped us since the first email. The apartment is clean, cozy, spacious. It's super close of the subway: right at the corner. When we arrived, she was waiting for us in the apartment. We keep contact by email and cellphone since when we did the reservation. I believe some people may have a little fear of pay everything before get in the apartment, but you can trust. We had a problem with our dates right after the payment, and she was so comprehensive and helped us to find another days. I highly recommend, and definitely we will return on my next visit to NY.

  Comments: I stayed in this apartment from 15th December to the 4th January and cannot find one fault with-it! The apartment is absolutely beautiful and in the most convenient location. All amenities were provided (towels, sheets, pots and pans, hair drier, iron, ironing board, wifi, cable and so much more) and were all brand new. Patricia was an absolute pleasure to deal with. My flight landed at JFK at 4:30am and I called her when I landed. She left the key for me and I was able to get inside the apartment and take a nap before exploring the city. She has stocked the fridge with water and orange juice – a lovely surprise after 2 days of traveling from Australia! The apartment is literally a 2 minute walk from the 135th Subway station with express trains 2 and 3 – You will be in Times Square within 15 minutes and for only$2.50 on the 3 train. At the other end of 135th you can catch the B and the C train… it’s only a 5 minute walk. Harlem is lovely, I loved my experience and will be back for sure!

  Comments: Patrick welcomed us warmly in this nice apartment in a quiet street close to the metro station. The place was very clean and after we requested we also got a little heater and another blanket. In the kitchen and in the bathroom we found everything we needed and they even provided water bottles and orange juice for us. Their daughters were living a level under us and we were able to contact them any time needed. We were happy to have been there!

We recomend IHOP Restaurant to breakfast... too near and cheap. When we arrived at the apartment had water and juice available in the refrigerator. We were received friendly and whenever we needed Patricia she was always ready to help us. My family and I had great time in NYC. Thank you once more Patricia!!

  Comments: Siamo stati nella casa di Patricia dal 29 aprile al 5 maggio 2015, eravamo 2 adulti e un ragazzo di 13 anni. La casa è perfetta, pulita e accogliente e ha tre belle finestre che danno sulla strada (silenziosissima di notte). Malgrado sia uno studio lo spazio è ampio anche con il divano letto aperto. Sia il letto matrimoniale che il divano letto sono comodi....fondamentale dopo le giornate di estenuanti camminate per New York.... Come descritto nell'annuncio la metro è dietro l'angolo, a 2 minuti a piedi e il quartiere di Harlem tranquillo e piacevole. Per arrivare a Time Square occorrono circa 15 minuti. Abbiamo avuto le chiavi appena arrivati e abbiamo avuto contatti con l'host via mail quando necessario Insomma positivo e consigliato

  Comments: Bei unserer Ankunft war zwar der Schlüssel nicht am vorgesehenen Ort, wir wurden aber von einer freundlichen Person, die sich um das Objekt kümmert eingelassen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig, das Bett bequem, ein Esstisch mit 4 Stühlen und die kleine Küche im Zimmer ermöglichen den Gästen sich prima selbst zu versorgen. Die Nachbarschaft ist ruhig und die U-Bahnanbindung perfekt. Eine Gehminute entfernt ist die nächste Station und es ist sehr einfach in's Zentrum zu gelangen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesem so typischen Townhouse. Fußläufig sind diverse Geschäfte vorhanden um sich mit ein paar Lebensmitteln einzudecken. Wir waren insgesamt 6 Nächte in diesem Appartement und würden unseren Aufenthalt gerne wiederholen. Es mangelt vielleicht ein wenig an Besteck, aber Handtücher waren reichlich vorhanden, ebenso Toilettenpapier und der Kühlschrank war mit einigen Flaschen Wasser befüllt. Das kleine Bad ist völlig ausreichend, einzig fehlt etwas Ablagefläche für die diversen Toilettenartikel. Now I'll try it in english. When we arrived, the key wasn't in the key box we got the code for, but Sharleen, the housekeeper was there, very friendly and she gave us the key and explained everything. We stayed for 6 nights and had a fantastic time in New York. The neighborhood is quiet and it's only one minute to walk to get to the next train station (subway) and it's comfortable and easy to get downtown or anywhere else. The apartment is in an old, typically townhouse. The room is big enough, also the bed which is really comfortable. There is a table with 4 chairs and a small kitchen with the mostly used items like microwave, toaster, tableware and cutlery, the cutlery and tableware could be a little bit more :), but it's easy to be self-caterer. The big refrigerator was filled with some bottles of water - very nice and comfortable as we arrived at a hot day. The bathroom is not so big but big enough and there where enough towels and toilet paper. I just missed a little more shelf space for our toilet articles. Around the corner are different shops to buy food and other important things. We felt very good in the apartment and the area and we would like to come back whenever it's possible. Nous avons échangé avec Patricia par sms ou mail dès que nous avions besoin de renseignements. Patricia a toujours répondu rapidement à nos demandes toujours dans un souci de confort pour le bon déroulement de notre sejour. Rue très calme loin du tumulte de Manhattan.

  Comments: Le studio était comme dans la description et propre. Il est au premier étage d'une maison typique de Harlem, dans une rue calme (très peu de bruit, ce qui est exceptionnel pour New York!), et très bien situé: à 2 minutes à pied des lignes de métro express 2 et 3: on est à Time Square en 20 minutes. La wifi marche bien. Patricia nous a expliqué comment entrer dans le logement, et a répondu rapidement à nos questions sur le supermarché le plus proche, le supermarché biologique etc. Le lit et le canapé dépliant sont confortables. J'ai apprécié le sèche-cheveux et le fer à repasser (nous sommes restés 11 jours). Il y a une laverie avec des machines à laver à 5 minutes à pied, et des commerces à proximité. Il manque toutefois des ustensiles dans la cuisine: 3 fourchettes, 1 seule grande cuillère, une petite casserole, c'est un peu juste et c'est dommage. Et il n'y a que très peu de cintres dans le placard. Il est vrai que nous ne l'avons pas signalé à Patricia. Elle nous en aurait peut-être donné plus.

  Comments: Nous sommes arrivés un peu tard dans la soirée dans cet appartement à trois quarts d'heure du centre de Manhattan et à moins de 150 mêtres de la sortie du métro. Tout a bien été organisé par le propriétaire et notre arrivée fut sans encombre. Nous y sommes restés treize jours dans un quartier trés calme proche de toutes commodités. Nous avons très apprécié cet endroit. La literie était fort confortable. La cuisine sommaire manquait peu être d'un peu d'équipement pour pouvoir diner à 4 voyageurs. Mais à part cela tout était parfait. Je recommande cet appartement.

  Comments: Good things: the location is very close to metro station. Towels were provided. Water bottles were provided. No problem for midnight check-in. Bed is nice. Things I didn't like: the location didn't feel safe. The wardrobe came crashing down on my 3 year old when he tried to pull a hanger from it, he was saved by his grandfather standing beside him by holding the wardrobe. It again came crashing down when we tried to put it back. No soaps were provided.

  Comments: Estuvimos con dos amigos la primera semana de mayo la verdad la pasamos muy bien el departamento muy cómodo para tres personas el baño de la cocina en la heladera el comedor muy bien todo según lo indicado en la publicación el departamento es un mono ambiente Pequeño pero totalmente funcional. El vecindario muy tranquilo sin mayores inconvenientes en Harlem muy cerca de la estación del subte de la 135 donde para las líneas uno, dos y tres rojas. No podemos ver la Patricia pero nos deja las indicaciones para poder entrar sin mayor inconveniente pasamos una excelente semana en Nueva York ese estuvo muy atenta a todas nuestras solicitudes que fueron muchas y siempre predispuesta solucionar cualquier inconveniente totalmente recomendado.

The apartmemt was close to the underground station and deli - very convinient if u are a tourist.   Comments: Camera indipendente ubicata in un fabbricato del 1800, molto accogliente e con lo spazio necessario per una famiglia di quattro persone. Il luogo è molto tranquillo ed è vicinissimo alla fermata della metropolitana. Harlem è un posto stupendo e non ancora inflazionato dal turismo. La gente è cordiale e non ho sentito nessun pericolo neanche di notte. Consigliatissimo!

  Comments: This place is in a fun area. The people in Harlem are so friendly. The grocery store, transit, and some restaurants are within easy walking distance. If you happen to be in town on a Thursday check out Harlem BBQ between 137th and 138th on Lennox. They have a karaoke night that is bumping and amazing ribs and chicken. The bed is really comfy and the upstairs location makes it so that you barely hear street noise.

  Comments: Dès que je suis entrée dans ce studio, je me suis dit que les photos ne le mettent pas assez en valeur. On s'y sent immédiatement bien tellement il est cosy, propre, chaleureux, pratique et spacieux pour un studio new yorkais. Le lit est grand et confortable. Le convertible offre aussi un bon couchage et vaut mieux que certains matelas. Le frigo a une partie congélateur de bonne taille et nous avons vraiment apprécié qu'il soit approvisionné en petites bouteilles d'eau. Machine à café, micro-onde, grille pain et vitrocéramique offrent le nécessaire pour prendre ses repas. L'appartement est calme et lorsque d'autres locataires ont été très bruyants, Patricia a su régler le problème dans les meilleurs délais. Nous avions de nombreux bagages et ce studio est grand, ce qui ne nous a pas donné l'impression de vivre dans nos valises. A noter qu'il y a des marches sans ascenseurs, pour les personnes ayant des difficultés. Le logement est très bien situé et le quartier de Harlem est très sympa, avec de nombreux restaurants, snack, épiceries, supermarchés etc. Sans parler du métro très accessible, bien desservi et très proche. Nous nous sommes senties en sécurité dans l'appartement et dans le quartier. Patricia est très réactive dans la communication, la concierge est très sympa et efficace. Nous avons pu rester un peu plus tard que midi afin de prendre notre avion sans avoir à attendre des heures dans l'aéroport. Je recommande vivement cet hébergement et j'y retournerai avec grand plaisir.

  Comments: Le logement est un studio spacieux, adaptés pour 4 personnes (et les valises). La cuisine est petite mais très bien équipé(micro onde/grille pain/cafetière). La salle de bain avait suffisamment de linge de toilette pour 4 et pour 10 jours. Les 2 couchages étaient très confortables. L'appartement est très bien situé près de la ligne 2 et 3. Super pratique! Le quartier est sure avec de nombreux commerces à proximité. Patricia est très réceptive et répond très rapidement par sms. Ce fut une très bonne expérience pour mes amis et moi. Si vous rechercher un pied à terre à New York et pas les moyens de loger dans le Sud de Central Park. L appartement de Patricia est un SUPER rapport qualité/prix.

  Comments: My husband and I stayed here the first week of December. As mentioned in other reviews, the location is fantastic! You are only a few minutes walk to the Subway, which will take you anywhere you need to go around the city (Subway rides varied anywhere from 20 minutes to 35 minutes, depending upon where you wanted to go in the city). My husband and I felt safe in the neighborhood, even when we came back in the dark, after exploring the city all day! The bed was incredibly comfortable and the apartment was just as pictured. Patricia checked in with us after our arrival, which was thoughtful. We had a question during our stay and she responded quickly to that as well. If you are looking to save money, I would highly recommend staying here verses in a hotel. On a side note, after talking with several locals, we discovered that the New York neighborhoods have changed so much. A lot of the neighborhoods that were once thought to not be "good, safe" neighborhoods, now are. Many people have moved out of the city (so expensive) into these neighborhoods, changing the neighborhood dynamics. Wonderful stay! Wonderful experience! Thank you Patricia!

  Comments: es un apartamento comodo y limpio,los propietarios son encantadores. las fotos son (Website hidden by Airbnb) calefaccion estupenda y fuimos en diciembre. ideal para una luna de miel o familia. en el vecindario tienes todo cerca y el subway esta a una cuadra. las camas super comodas y la ducha muy confortable....dos cosas importantes cuando una llega cansado de pasear.el centro de manhattan esta a 20 minutos.Las casas decoradas para navidad y la nieve son inolvidables. gracias por todo.

  Comments: We accomplished our goal. We lived like true New Yorkers for a week. The apartment is close to transit, 2-3 blocks making it very easy to begin our days to the city. The local restaurants and stores were very friendly. We even did a load of laundry at the local Laundry Mat. The apartment was clean and easy to access. We loved the bottled water! It was the perfect size for us and our 2 pre teen kids. Very comfortable! We would definitely stay again.

The place was big enough for 3 people with everything necessary for a short/medium stay. Very clean and pretty. Patricia was very quick in replying when the communication was needed.   Comments: 지하철역과 가까워 교통은 좋았습니다. 집은 옛날 집이라 생각보다 춥고 조명이 한 개 뿐이었는데 밝아지는데 시간이 걸려 좀 어두웠습니다. 완전히 켜지더라도 어두운 편이라 좀 답답했습니다. 집이 좀 더 밝았으면 더 좋았을 것 같습니다. 와이파이는 잘 연결될 때도 있고 느릴 때도 있었습니다.

  Comments: Patricia's place is a nice apartment located in Harlem, with all the necessary utilities nearby and some great places with food. The home is clean and well protected, we had no issues in the neighborhood being outsiders, there are metro and bus stations 5mins walk away. There is a kitchen with utensils that you can cook in. The only drawback was extremely slow wi-fi, that was barely usable. It was not a deal-braker for us, but might be a problem for others that want to get some work done. Recommended place for seeing NYC, as going places is relatively fast since the location is pretty good.

  Comments: We stayed at Patricia apartment for 6 nights. The room located on the 2nd floor. Facing the street. Room was clean , functional ,plenty of towels ,wash clothes and quite a few water of bottles provided. Location is good..a couple minutes walk to subway 2,3 lines which is directed to time square without changing train. She also accommodate an early check in and held our luggage for a couple hours and allowed us collect them after check, which we are thankful for. However, her communication on these requests was not prompt and made me feel like I was in limbo to a certain extent. 2 Internets provided were unusable ( couldn’t get connected) so we roamed the whole stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

  Comments: The appartment is a great choice for a short stay in New York. It offers sufficient space, is clean and very close to a subway station. Patricia's descriptions were very accurate and helpful. The only negative point I can think of is, that the fridge can get quite loud and disturbed our sleep from time to time.

  Comments: Logement d'un excellent rapport qualité / prix et refait récemment. Situé au nord de Harlem, il est à 40 minutes en métro de Times Square (c'est le seul bémol pour ceux qui veulent rentrer en cours de journée) : très bien desservi par la ligne 2 ou 3. Il dispose d'une pièce centrale et d'une salle de bain correctement aménagée et plutôt vaste (un lot serviettes propres est mis à disposition, c'est appréciable) . Nous étions 4 avec 2 ados : limite en place une fois le canapé lit déployé. Par contre nous avons trouvé que les matelas étaient confortables. Pas de volets mais des stores, donc lever avec le jour. Un wifi un peu anémié, ne comptez pas faire du streaming. Sinon, quartier globalement tranquille, les habitants sont charmants et toujours prêts à vous aider. Côté supermarché, il faut aller à la 125èm street (possible en métro ou à pied) au Whole Market pour avoir du choix et une cafèteria qui dépanne bien (les épiceries locales sont vraiment riquiqui).

  Comments: Nous sommes restés dans ce studio pour notre semaine à New York. Il est dans le quartier de Harlem qui est plutôt sympa et vivant surtout lorsqu'on descend sur la 125st où vous trouverez différents commerces restaurant. On peut accéder rapidement au métro qui est très bien desservi. L'appartement était au calme et confortable. Patricia est très réactive et très sympathique (nous avons pu laisser nos bagages plus tard que l'horaire prévue car notre vol était au soir). Bon rapport qualité prix nous recommandons.

  Comments: The studio unit is nice looking, quiet, comfortable, and clean. It has all the amenities you need for a New York stay. Right down the street on the corner is a nice Deli and a well-priced fruit stand and the subway is just a few steps away from that. very convenient to the 2 and 3 Subway. We stayed with our 11 year old son and it was perfect for us, we would definitly stay there again!

  Comments: We loved this quaint little Harlem suite. Location was perfect for heading downtown on the Subway every day, and the space was great. We really enjoyed our stay. The only inconvenience - and it was small so not worth a downgrade from 5 stars - was how long it took to get hot water. Such great value in NYC and we would definitely recommend.

  Comments: I travelled to NYC with my husband and daughter and staying at Patricia’s place added great value to our holiday. The place is perfectly suitable for three people just as advertised, it’s clean and the beds are very comfortable. You can find many restaurants and supermarkets around the block and the subway station is literally around the corner, which takes you to Times Square in 15 minutes! In addition, the check in was very easy. We got there an hour earlier and she aloud us to leave our bags as the cleaning lady was still there (she was very welcoming). We also found quite few bottles of water in the fridge which was a nice touch! I definitely recommend Patricia’s place and would like to thank her for her great hospitality!
