  Comments: Stefanie and Joan are the perfect hosts. Quick respons, helpful, friendly and flexible. The apartment is exactly is you can see on the pictures and has a stunning view over the city. The neighbourhood is a popular but quiet area of the city with the local people warm and welcoming. Shops and a few local restaurants are close by. It's very easy to get to the city center and all of the tourist atractions, as there is a bus station about 200m away from the apartment and busses run approx every 10 to 15 min even during the weekend. Nightbuses are also available. I totally recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy all that Barcelona has to offer all the while enjoying the tranquility of this area.

  Comments: Appartement conforme à la description, propre et fonctionnel, avec une vue splendide sur Barcelone. Magnifique vue de la terrasse. Appartement un peu excentré du centre ville mais très facile d'accès par les transports en commun. La proximité du Parc Guëll permet un accès gratuit tous les soirs et le restaurant traditionnel du bout de la rue mérite qu'on s'y arrête. Accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires. En résumé, un séjour des plus agréables. Nous recommandons cet endroit.

It was very nice)))) Special thanks to your mum))) very nice woman))) The apartment fits the description. Located in a quiet area. Nearby is a beautiful park - Park Guell. All small shops (bakery, fish, meat, vegetable), a pharmacy, a restaurant and tapas bar - located 2 minutes from the apartment. The balcony offers a beautiful view of Barcelona.   Comments: We hebben een topverblijf gehad, werden warm welkom geheten door de (schoon)moeder van Stefanie en Joan. We voelden ons direct thuis. Het appartement ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto's, is schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Van afwasmiddel tot handdoeken en van toiletpapier tot broodrooster. Een heerlijke hoekbank waar je na een lange dag lopen heerlijk op kunt bijkomen. Het appartement is wat hoger gelegen en ligt niet heel dicht bij het centrum maar is snel en goed te bereiken met het openbaar vervoer (bus en/of metro). Door de hoge ligging heb je een prachtig uitzicht over de stad. Het appartement ligt circa 5 minuten lopen van Park Güell, absoluut de moeite waard om te bezoeken. Stefanie en Joan zijn zeer hulpvaardige en attente gastheer/vrouw. Vooraf ontvang je van hen heel veel informatie over bijvoorbeeld het openbaar vervoer, bezienswaardigheden en eetgelegenheden. Heb je tijdens je verblijf vragen kun je hen heel makkelijk bereiken. Prijs/kwalititeitverhouding een dikke PLUS!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un excellent voyage à Barcelone qui est d'ailleurs une ville splendide. Christina était très sympathique et nous a bien accueillis. Grâce à la description précise de Johan nous n'avons pas eu de mal à trouver l'appartement, qui très bien desservi par les transports en commun et qui a de nombreux commerces de proximité. L'appartement est fidèle aux photos fournies sur le site et nombre de petits détails nous font sentir comme chez nous. La vue est incroyable et les commerçants du quartier adorables. Johan & Stephanie nous beaucoup aidé à préparer notre voyage grâce à leurs nombreux mails détaillés des environs et de Barcelone. Ce sont des hôtes très sympathiques, disponibles et accueillants.

  Comments: Our host was very responsive and his mother, who checked us in, was wonderful. She was very friendly and helpful, and made my boyfriend feel very at home. The apartment was lovely and well decorated; however, we had some big problems. First, the cleaning fee and tourist tax were not included in the listed price, which surprised me and raised the price. Second, the location was very hard to reach - it is in the very far edge of the city, a twenty minute straight uphill walk from the nearest metro stop. the bus is very close though. Third, the wifi did not work well enough to do more than send a text message, even when we took t upstairs as our host suggested. Finally, upon checkout, we were informed that we would have to pay 20 for leaving the apartment not up to standard, a complaint I have never had before.

  Comments: Accueil très chaleureux, appartement propre et tres fonctionnel. La vue du salon est superbe avec aussi une terrasse qui donne sur la ville - idéale pour le petit déjeuner! Carmel se trouve à flan de colline, c'est accessible à pied mais assez intense apres une dure journée de visite, il vaut mieux utiliser une des 2 lignes d'autobus qui relient l'appartement au centre ville pour la remontée. Le logement est à 15 minutes à pied du Park Guell et du quartier Gracia avec un voisinage tres pratique (primeur, pharmacie et restos: ne pas manquer las delicias!) Superbe expérience!

  Comments: We had such a lovely time in Barcelona and a lot was due to the flat (super clean and tidy and very comfortable in a quiet but lovely neighbourhood close to Parc Güell), the amazing view we woke up to every morning, the warm welcome &the best tips given to us by Joan (we particularly enjoyed the local tapas bar down the road from the flat which was delicious and truly authentic).   Comments: Me and my husband had an amazing holiday in Barcelona. Stefanie and Joan are the perfect hosts, very friendly and informative. Joan's mother gave us the warmest greeting. She' s such a lovely lady. The flat was really clean, cozy and so nice. We felt at home. The view from the living room was stunning. The wifi was enough for texting and reading e-mails. The area is super calm with a great bakery, little stores and tapas bars. You can easily reach the city center by bus and 20 minutes walk to the nearest metro station. Park Güell and a wonderful 360 degrees city view is at the neighborhood. Best choice if you want to enjoy this great city. Thank you so much again!

  Comments: Wij kwamen 's avonds aan in het appartement en werden enthousiast welkom geheten door Joan. We werden meteen verrast door het fantastische uitzicht op de stad Barcelona, dat zichtbaar was vanaf het dakterras maar ook gewoon vanaf de heerlijk luie zitbank.... Het appartement ligt in een rustig gedeelte van de stad en heeft een perfecte busverbinding met het centrum (iedere 10 minuten komt er wel een bus langs). Ook zijn er een paar buurtwinkeltjes waar je alles kunt kopen wat je nodig hebt. Park Guëll (met de moziëken van Gaudi) ligt op nog geen 10 minuten loopafstand! Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien en 'huiselijk' ingericht. Barcelona heeft veel bezienswaardigheden die de moeite waard zijn om te bezoeken (Park Guëll, de Sagrada Familia, de zuil van Columbus, het 360 graden uitkijkpunt, de kabelbaan naar Montjuïc, de Arc de Triomf, de Golondrinas, de Ramblas en nog veel meer (maar daar hadden wij zelf helaas geen tijd meer voor....). Leuke tip: vanaf de zuil van Columbus bij de haven kun je als je goed kijkt het appartement zien liggen! Let op de letters DBLS op de muur....... Wij hebben genoten en bevelen dit romantische en rustige appartement bij iedereen aan!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Barcelone. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et renseignés par Cristina, et eu aussi Yoan au téléphone à notre arrivée. L'appartement situé non loin du Parc Guell est bien desservi, avec un arrêt de bus proche. La place Catalunya est à environ une demi heure et l'aéroport environ 1h (bus et ou bus+métro). Le quartier est calme, et l'appartement très propre (malgré la façade ancienne). La vue qui domine Barcelone est très agréable. La literie était confortable et nous avions tout ce qu'il nous fallait, avec en plus des commerces proches. Nous recommandons cet appartement!

  Comments: Nous avons passé notre séjour à Barcelone, accueillis par la Maman très sympathique de Joan car il travaillait. Appartement très bien situé sur une colline surplombant Barcelone, la vue de l'appartement est vraiment incroyable surtout à la nuit tombée. Nous étions à 10 minutes de marche du Parc Güell, et même si l'appartement est un peu loin du centre, les nombreux bus permettent de s'y rendre assez rapidement 30 minutes de la Place Catalunya. A faire petite ascension de 10 minutes à pied à partir de l'appartement pour rejoindre un ancien bunker qui est l'un des points culminants de la ville et qui permet d'avoir une vue sublime de Barcelone à 360° degrés... Parfait pour assister au couché du soleil. Séjour parfait grâce à un appartement fonctionnel. Merci à Joan pour tous les conseils et renseignements qui nous ont permis de préparer notre séjour avant notre départ.

  Comments: Were warmly greeted by the hosts mom and friend. They could not speak english, but we got along on my school Spanish. The place was nice and tidy. The only thing missing was an air conditioner, too hot in the night with just a fan. We rented a scooter, so getting to and from the place was relatively easy. Would recommend. Very nice view from the terrace and the nearby Búnkers de Carmel.

  Comments: Stefanie and Joan gave us a lot of information via e-mail about Barcelona. When we arrived at the apartment we were welcomed by Joan's mother and a friend. They do not speak English, but we have agreed with hands and feet. The apartment was not fully cleaned, so we enjoyed the view from the rooftop terrace which is awesome! The apartment was clean and adequate for two people. You get by bus or metro in the city. The bus often stops and the journey takes. Better to use the Metro. With Metro you come directly to Barceloneta (beach). Joan's mother is very warm. We felt very welcome! Thank you.

The bed was not very large for us (we are both 180cm and not very skinny). The view is beautiful and the point of view nearby must not be missed. All explanations you need to go down in the center.   Comments: This is a great place for visitors who have been to Barcelona before and want to discover new parts of the city, away from the Ramblas and Gothic Quarter. The view from the apartment and surrounding hills over the city is impressive and the area itself, around the corner from Guell Park, is quiet and feels "real". There's a fair bit of hill-climbing and walking involved in staying here, though the local bus route takes you right into town in 20 minutes. The hosts, Stefanie and Joan, could not be more helpful. They provide guides to the city by email and are always available via (Hidden by Airbnb) to answer questions. The flat itself is small, but very clean and reasonably well equipped, with coffee maker (Senseo), oven and induction hob. It's quiet, so a good night's sleep on the comfortable bed is guaranteed and the shower in the tiny bathroom is powerful enough to clear away the cobwebs in the morning.

  Comments: Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Barcelona. Aufgrund ausführlicher Informationen zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln konnten wir die Wohnung problemlos erreichen. Dort wurden wir sehr freundlich von Joans Mutter empfangen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Jeden Tag erfreuten wir uns wieder über den tollen Ausblick auf Barcelona, den man von der Wohnung aus hat. Bei Fragen waren unsere Gastgeber stets erreichbar und hilfsbereit. Fazit: Wir würden auch noch ein zweites Mal Stefanies und Joans Wohnung mieten und können diese folglich mit gutem Gewissen an andere Barcelonareisende weiterempfehlen.

  Comments: Lived here for 1 month with girlfriend. Fine little apartment that has everything you need for long term stay. The good: Good overall value Quiet neighborhood 2 great local restaurants around the corner + bakery. Great views. Good bed + shower. Very helpful and friendly hosts. The bad: Bad wifi (but was warned beforehand) A bit outside of centrum and 15 mins walk to the metro. The apartment is cold when it's winter in janaury/february. The kitchen is very small. Used furniture. Overall a good experience since I prefer to live in a more quiet and local area.

  Comments: Una casa bastante bien y fresquita, acogedora y muy bien comunicada con los buses. Hay unas vistas súper bonitas de Barcelona desde el sofá. Joan y Stefani nos han tratado de maravilla desde un primer momento, nos han facilitado la llegada en bus desde Sants, y explicándonos como movernos por la ciudad. Hay una guía turística en el apartamento por si quieres ver los mejores sitios de Barcelona y como llegar a ellos.   Comments: Fui três dias a Barcelona com uma amiga e ficámos alojadas em casa do Joan e da Stefanie. Logo desde o início eles enviaram toda a informação sobre a cidade, tanto de transportes como os sítios mais importantes para se conhecer. A casa é exactamente como mostram as fotos e é extremamente limpa! Quem nos fez o check in foi a mãe e uma amiga do Joan e elas foram extremamente simpáticas e disponibilizaram tudo o que precisamos! Foi uma experiência muito boa e certamente que lá irei voltar e ficar em casa deles!

  Comments: A very nice apartment near in a charming area ! It's a bit far from the city center, but at least the neighborhood is very local, and quiet during the night ; and with the metro not far away it's kinda easy to reach the city center. And close to the apartment you can visit the park Guell, beautiful, and former bunkers now open to public which are not full of tourists, very pleasant. Communication was very easy with Joan and Stefanie, they are very helpful and always did their best to improve our stay at their place ! So I strongly recommend it ! :)

  Comments: Nous avons été accueillis par la mère de Joan, qui a été très chaleureuse avec nous. L'appartement, situé à côté du Parc Güell, offre une belle vue de Barcelone et était conforme aux photos. Plusieurs lignes de bus sont proches de l'appartement et permettent de rejoindre le centre rapidement (un métro est situé un peu plus loin de l'appartement).   Comments: The apartment is small but okay for two persons. Our hosts were easy to deal with and always reachable. We got sooo much useful information about Barcelona per e-mail in advance. The view from the apartment is amazing, there is a roof terrace as well. Parc Güell is in a walking distance of 20'. The bus station at the end of the street serves two important bus lines which take you directly close to the Sagrada Familia, to Casa Mila & Batllo, to Plaza Catalunya and to La Rambla. The 3G internet device is useful for messaging but not for surfing, but it is portable (battery for half a day). We would certainly stay there again.

  Comments: Heerlijk rustig appartement in buitenwijk van Barcelona. Goed te bereiken met openbaar vervoer en op steenworp afstand van Park Guell. Uitzicht is grandioos omdat appartement hoger ligt, tegen helling op. Geen steile helling overigens. Vooraf veel nuttige informatie toegestuurd gekregen wat de aankomst en het verblijf ten goede kwamen. Winkeltjes in directe omgeving om noodzakelijke boodschappen te doen. Bakker aan begin van de straat verkoopt heerlijke broodjes.

  Comments: Nice flat, great views, amazing hosts. Flat as described, plenty of info by the hosts once we booked the flat. A quiet residential area, 10 minutes walk from Park Guel. An enjoyable 50’ walk to the city centre, which we enjoyed every day. For our way back we either used the bus (25’) or a taxi (13€). Pros: Great hosts, communicative and rapidly responsive. Views from the flat and terrace Clean and cosy flat. Cons: Heating ( as we visited in December ) needs to be improved. Thank you Stefanie and Joan, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely visit again in the future!

The flat is not in the center of the city but the local transportation is really good from here it wasn't a big deal to get in the city center every day.

  Comments: The tidy tiny apartement is very cozy and perfect for a couple. modern and smart refurbished in one of the old little village like houses in the quarter can baró upon the hill, amazing panoramic views on the city and very quiet at night. the kitchen is very well equipped and we did love the shower :) there is access to a little balcony directly from the apartement and the roof top terrace is to share with the neighbours, which is something commen in bcn. the walk downhill to the metro is quick and L4 connects you directly to barcelonetta and the sea. mar y monte ! the hosts Stefanie, Joan and Cristina are very caring and provide you with a lot of helpfull information. for colder periods be aware there is no central heating ( not unusal ..) , but there is a fan heater and amazing electric blankets to pre heat your bed. and unless you have to work, you won't miss the wifi, better have a look outside the window and enjoy the magic view !!

  Comments: Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung von Stefanie und Joan. Die beiden haben uns immer super schnell geantwortet und auch der Empfang durch Jonas Mutter war sehr herzlich. Die Wohnung hat eine tolle Lage und eine unbezahlbare Aussicht. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht: Handtücher, Föhn, Geschirr, Töpfe. Außerdem haben uns die beiden tolle Tipps zu den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel und Sehenswürdigkeiten in Barcelona gegeben. Wir würden jeder Zeit wieder die Wohnung der beiden buchen - hier kann man nichts falsch machen :)

  Comments: Der Aufenthalt war super. Die Gegend ist etwas abgelegen von der City, aber traumhaft durch die Lage und den Ausblick auf Barcelona. Geht man die kleinen Wege noch weiter hinauf, dann kann man einen noch schönere Aussicht genießen, mit Sonnenuntergang und Blick auf ganz Barcelona! Wunderschön! Auch sonst war check in sowie check out unkompliziert und sehr herzlich. Wir haben viele Tipps und Anregungen, was unseren gesamten Aufenthalt anging, bekommen und hätten uns jederzeit melden können. Die Wohnung ist klein, aber fein, sauber, es ist alles da, was man braucht und noch mehr! Einfach sehr zu empfehlen!!!! Und wer am Morgen nach dem Wachwerden oder am Abend zum Nachhausekommen eine traumhafte Aussicht von der Wohnung aus genießen möchte, sollte sich für diese entscheiden! :-)

  Comments: A friend and I stayed 3 days at Joans and Stefanies apartment. On the day of arrival Joans mother Christina welcomed us very friendly and open hearted and showed us the apartment. The apartment was very clean and has everything you need. The view on the terrace is beautiful especially at night. Before our trip they send us lot of information about attractions in Barcelona and the area (supermarket, restaurants, bus etc.). Whenever we had any questions we could write Joan via (Hidden by Airbnb) and mail and he helped us immediately. They were always very kind and helpful.   Comments: Nice apartment in a quiet residential area in Barcelona. Incredible views over the city and down to the sea, very close to Park Güell and a lovely viewpoint at Bunkers del Carmel. Easily reachable by bus and by subway (although the walk is up a big hill!). Would highly recommend. Stefanie and Joan, whilst we never met them, were very responsive and got in touch with us very early on to arrange check-in information and offer loads of local tips and guides. This was a lovely touch and was very helpful. The apartment has two folders full of tourist information.

  Comments: Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la mère de Joan. Elle nous a bien expliqué le fonctionnement de l’appartement et les services à proximité. L’appartement est propre et conforme aux photos. La vue sur Barcelone est magnifique. Il est en retrait du centre ville, il faut prendre les transports en commun proche de l’appartement. Nous avons passé un bon séjour !

  Comments: We had a lovely stay at Stefanie and Joan's apartment! His mother greeted us when we first arrived and she was very sweet! Wifi only allows for messaging but we managed to navigate and find out other information thanks to Joan's assistance and quick responses. Be careful with the steep stairs leading up to the apartment especially if you have a rolling luggage. The apartment had everything we needed and bus stop is close by to get to the city centre.

  Comments: Квартира расположена в тихом месте на холме. Рядом парк Гуэль. Вид с балкона и террасы просто потрясающий. Ходят два прямых автобуса до площади Каталонии и порта. Если немного спуститься, есть остановка автобуса D40 до площади Испании. В 15 минутах ходьбы улица с сувенирными магазинами. Поблизости есть супермаркет, аптека, булочная и парочка баров-таверн. Квартира на втором этаже, без лифта, лестница узкая и крутая, имейте ввиду, если вы с тяжелыми чемоданами. На наше пребывание пришелся жуткий ливень, в гостиной подтекают окна, но хозяин сказал, что после нашего отъезда исправит эту проблему. Хозяева очень приветливые и внимательные, быстро отвечают на любые вопросы, всегда на связи. Присылают кучу интересной и полезной информации. И в целом искренне желают замечательного отдыха. WiFi в квартире только для отправки сообщений в мессенджере и проверки почты, какой-нибудь сайт врядли откроется.

  Comments: L'appartamento è accogliente con un'ottima vista sulla città. Si presenta grazioso anche se al primo impatto può sembrare il contrario. Il bagno è piccolo ma completo di tutto il necessario. L'impianto di aria calda/fredda funziona benissimo, letto grande e comodo, cucina con tutto il disponibile. Host davvero molto gentili, accoglienti che ci hanno mandato ogni tipo di informazioni sulla città, sul quartiere e su ogni cosa possibile. Davvero gentilissimi e squisiti! L'appartamento è in zona residenziale e tranquilla, un po' fuori sulle colline di Barcellona ma con il bus, che passa sotto casa, in venti minuti si è in Plaza de Catalunya.

  Comments: What a great apartment! We stayed a month in this but great apartment, and we enjoyed it a lot. This apartment has an amazing view of the city. I could just sit for hours looking out of the window, enjoying the view. It is a very local area away from tourists - and still, just 10 mins walk to park güell. It is easy to get to downtown, with one of the the two buses that go just from the end of the street. And be sure to take them back as well, it will save you many stairs and hills :)
