  Comments: Katja is a great hostess. She gave me detailed instructions to get to the apartment from the airport as well as help with restaurants. The apartment was clean and central with great views from the terrace. The room also has its own bathroom with shower and the wifi connection was great. Would certainly recommend a stay here.

  Comments: To put it simply - staying with Katja was great. As promissed you get your own floor within her flat. The room is small but nice. The view from the terrace is nothing short of awesome. The bathroom is clean and nice. Katja has been a great and welcoming host. She was there for any questions we had. All in all it has been a very pleasant experience.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our time in Barcelona and the appartement was exactly what we needed. A nice place to get back after a day of walking. Katja was an excellent host, very friendly, helpfull and accomodating. The room on the top floor and the bathroom was clean and well equipped, and we had a very nice private terrace with a great view. This place is like a little oasis on roofs of Eixample. There are many restaurants, bars, supermarkets and tapas places around, so you can manage quickly your daily needs, however there are also different public transport opportunities, so that you can easily get to the downtown as well. I totally recommend staying at Katja's place, we will definitely come back.

  Comments: I really had a fantastic stay at Katja's place!!! Everything is as shown on the fotos and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped, the private bathroom has its own window and is big. The best thing for me was the large terrace which has a great view. Wifi worked very well and the connection to the airport is very good. Katja is a very friendly and helpful person, unfortunately we haven't met personally!!!! We communicated via Email and sms and she helped me with everything I needed. I would definitvly like to come back to her place and would be very happy to meet Katja!!

  Comments: Katja's place is a nice penthouse with a beautiful view from the terrace. We could not use the terrace much as it was peak winter but would be an perfect place to sit when weather is good. The room is slightly small but good enough for a couple. It is in an ideal location walkable distance from city centre. Katja is a wonderful host. Though we could not meet in person she left no stone unturned to make us feel at home and she was very quick in responding to our queries though she was in Denmark at that time. Last but not the least her cat compensated for Katja absence. We fell in love with her! We highly recommend this place.

  Comments: When i was looking for my parents for a place to stay while they were visiting me, i found katjas wonderful place here in airbnb. Her place is really tidy and comfortable and her cat makes the place even more alive :) The first days we couldnt see each other but when we had any questions katja helped us out and responeded really fast. We even stayed in contact through messages on the wall in the kitchen what was really nice. She is a great host with a good humor and i would defently recommend you to stay at her place. Thanks Katja my parents had a wonderful time :)

  Comments: It was the first time we travelled with AirBnb and it was a very good experience. We were so lucky to stay with Katja! Despite the fact that our flight arrived rather late Katja was waiting for us. We felt very comfortable while staying at her flat. Flowers near the bed, bottles of water –all these little things show that Katja is glad to host you:).The location of the flat is very convenient and it is easy to get to all the attractions of Barcelona. We went practically everywhere on foot. It took us about 15 min to get to Casa Batlló, 20 min to Plaça de Catalunya and 15 min to Estació de Barcelona-Sants (the main railway station of Barcelona). The flat itself is very nice, cozy and quiet. We had a private bathroom and a terrace. From the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view over Tibidado Mountain. We were also allowed to use the kitchen. Wi-Fi works very quickly:) Katja is a wonderful host, she is very nice and considerate. Her cat is also very polite. We didn`t mind staying her cat in our room but the cat is so clever and delicate that she always stayed at her place.

  Comments: Katja is a helpful and easygoing host and we had such a nice stay at her place! The room is a bit small but then you have your own big terrace with a nice view over the city and we had a some nice sunny afternoons there. We also liked the area which had a more calm and local atmosphere than the city center, and still you could easily reach the center with a few stops by metro or a good walk (25/30 min). We would highly recommend the room to others who search for a nice and relaxed place to stay in Barcelona!

  Comments: Really loved it, and the feedback is nothing but positive! The house/room is good. The room where you sleep is not very big, but it is good enough since you only sleep here! You have your own bathroom, which is very nice, and the kitchen is shared with Katja. Also the neighorhood is nice. There is a supermarket and a domino's pizza really close by, and the house is about a 15 minute walk from the metro station Urgell, from there you can get to all the places you like! Katja was a very good host, really helpfull and sweet! She left the second day (to visit her dad), so we had the house to ourselves, but even after her leaving she kept in contact with us over (Hidden by Airbnb) , which was really nice! Also, the terrace was even bigger than it seemed on the pictures, with the amazing view and sunshine all day, you could eat breakfast there, drink wine at the end of the day, or just enjoy the view! We are definitely coming back to Katja when returning to Barcelona!

  Comments: We spent a wonderful week in Katja's apartment! Katja is a very nice and friendly person. She gave us a city map and lots of useful information about Barcelona and places that are worth seeing. Most of the time we were alone in the flat (except for the company of a cat ;)) because Katja had left for a couple of days. We lived in a private room upstairs, with a bathroom and a terrace for the exclusive use (with a great view of the Tibidado hill). The room wasn't large nor modern, but it was clean, nice and perfectly suited for our needs. A ten minute-walk to the metro station, 15 minutes to the train station. Shops and pubs nearby. Highly recommend!

The room isn't large but the balcony is, and the weather was brilliant all week so we were able to make the most of it and enjoy breakfast & drinks outside. The apartment is quite well situated but you would need to enjoy walking to make the most of it.

  Comments: As promised Katja was at home waiting for us to ring her door bell once we arrived at her address. We found Katja very welcoming providing us with a city map and other information needed by tourists to the area. This was most helpful. The apartment was clean and tidy and we loved the balcony. Katja made sure we were aware we could use the kitchen, refrigerator, dining room and washing machine. We were also able to hang our washing out on the balcony. The apartment is very central to the centre of the city as well as being quite close to the train station. All this made our stay in Barcelona very comfortable and we would recommend Katja's apartment to anyone requiring accommodation in Barcelona. Peter and Jan from Australia.

  Comments: We loved staying at Katja's place! Everything was as described on her listing. She was there to meet us when we arrived and was lovely. She had a map all ready marked for us with easy bus routes etc. She made us feel welcome in her kitchen-which was very clean, well-organized and had everything we needed. The bedroom is small, but clean and comfortable; it was great to have our own bathroom. The terrace doors framed the sky and it was a treat to lie in bed and look out. The terrace was a highlight--perfect for morning coffee and evening wine. The neighborhood is great--easy to grab a bus, or walk to wherever you are going. Nice grocery store right across the street, fruit stalls...easy walk to great bars, cafes, restaurants. When we go back to Barcelona we will definitely stay again.

  Comments: Awesome room with an amazing deck. U have a private floor with the deck, a beautiful room with 2 beds and a nice bathroom. We appreciated the fan :-) Remember that u are not allowed to use the kitchen, because we did not noticed it before. It's not near the beach but near the city centre and with the bus or metro u can reach everything in 20/30 minutes

Katja ga oss gode tips om reiser og ting og se på , metro , busser og kart over Barcelona.   Comments: The apartment was very welcoming, the bedroom was small but just as mentionned by Katja in the description, as well as the directions to and from the airport with the AeroBus. Comfortable beds, clean private bathroom and the terrace was cosy, especially when the sun was shining with a nice view on the Sagrada Familia in the background. Main metro station 15 minutes walking. We didn't see Katja a lot but she is a very welcoming, friendly and kind lady. I strongly recommend this address, well situated to visit most of Barcelona's must see monuments and museums.

  Comments: Die Wohnung war anhand der Wegbeschreibung gut zu finden. Wir wurden von Katja und ihrem Kätzchen herzlich empfangen. Wasser, Nespresso-Kapseln für die Kaffeemaschine, Stadt-, Metro-, Busplan und Prospekte zu verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten lagen für uns bereit. Katja gab uns Hinweise zu Restaurants, Geschäften und den nächstgelegenen Buslinien. Auch die Kommunikation im Vorraus klappte perfekt. Schlafraum und Bad waren klein, aber zweckmäßig und bequem eingerichtet, so dass alle persönlichen Dinge gut untergebracht werden konnten. Das Highlight war die tolle Terasse über den Dächern der Stadt mit direktem Blick auf den Tibidabo. Die gemeinsame Küchennutzung funktionierte völlig stressfrei. Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Danke für die schöne Woche, Katja.

  Comments: The stay at Katjas place was wonderful from beginning to end. Communicating with her before & during our stay was very easy. The room as well as her whole apartment is a gem. It is furnished in the most lovely way, with every piece of furniture and accessory you can feel how much thought went into furnishing the place. We felt very comfortable. The mattresses were perfect to sleep on and the view from the rooftop is breath taking, ideal to relax after a long day in Barcelona. I wouldnt hesitat for one second to dtay with Katja again!

  Comments: We had a very nice time at Katja's place in Barcelona. Her early communications were very friendly and helpful. On arrival, our flight was over 2.5 hours late, meaning we arrived after midnight, but Kayja could not have been more understanding and graceful, when we arrived - she even offered us a late night beer which was appreciated! The suite is cozy, clean and private - we appreciated having our own little bathroom and especially the terrace. As we had sunshine for our entire visit, we made good use of it to eat our meals and relax. The location is excellent - it felt like a safe, family-oriented neighbourhood with stores and restaurants nearby, also close to everything we wanted to see, with good walking, cycling and transit. Katja was very helpful with maps and advice that made us feel welcome and saved us time. Thank you, Katja!

  Comments: We had an amazing stay at Katja's home. She made us feel welcome, and gave us some tips when we arrived (e.g. busses, supermarket,...). Although the bedroom is not big (as is described), there is a good vibe, with lots of light, and the terrace is wonderful. The apartment has a bohemian feel (perfect for Barcelona), but is clean and tidy. You have a lot of privacy, as the apartment is at the upper floor, with it's own terrace and small bathroom. The metro is around 4 blocks away, with a direct connection to placa catalunya. We recommend it!

  Comments: Nous avons passé un très bon séjour chez Katja. L'appartement est très bien placé, assez central, proche des bus, du métro et facilement accessible depuis l'aéroport.   Comments: Katja's place is very nice and cozy. The room and our private bathroom was nice and clean and the terrace is just terrific! Katja took a lot of effort to make us feel at home, little flowers and water by the bed, Nespresso for us to use. Her being so easy going and warm made us feel at home right away. The street is a quite noisy but during our stay an airco was installed so we could close the doors and sleep. Katja's tip on where to go brought us to the very beautiful Hospital st. Pau.

  Comments: De verhuurder heeft er alles aan gedaan om het ons naar de zin te maken. Ze heeft ons goed voorbereid door heel goed uit te leggen hoe wij bij het appartement moesten komen. Het was een heerlijke plek met een balkon waar je zo over de stad kijkt, vlak bij het centrum.

  Comments: Me and my daughter Vanessa stayed one week in Katja`s apartment and it was really great. Katja could not be there when we arrived, but she managed very well that we came in and felt comfortable. She is very warm-hearded and friendly. The location of the apartment is in a area with many little bars , supermarkets and a short distance to the metro station. Also it is very simple to reach the airport. If we visit barcelona again, we will stay at Katja's place if possible!

  Comments: Det var en stor fornøjelse at bo hos Katja, lige fra jeg bookede var hendes svar hurtige og præcise. Hun sikrede sig at jeg vidste at det var et lille værese, inden jeg accepterede og hun har en præcis vejledning til hvordan man finder hendes hjem. Hun var hjemme og tog godt imd os. Værelset er lille , men fint og der er hvad man skal bruge til at sove og slappe af. Badeværelset var også fint og rent, men en smule slidt:-). Dejligt med balkon og gode senge. Katja var hyggelig og meget hjælpsom med at foreslå hvad vi skulle se og hvordan vi kom rundt. God placering centralt i byen, hvorfra man nemt kan komme rundt. selve gaden/nærmeste område var ikke meget spændende, men af samme grund også mest for de lokale. Vores allerstørste anbefalinger til Katjas værelse, hvis man har brug for et stille sted at sove og sidde i solen og ikke stiller krav til køkkenfaciliteter (hvem gider lave mad i Barcelona:-).

  Comments: Katja is a wonderful person, very respectful of your private space and her house is full of personality. If you enjoy traveling and having a more personal experience than your average hotel, I recommend this place. The room is spacious enough for 2 people and the terrace is very beautiful. We had water, tea bags and coffee tablets in our room - little things that make you feel more welcomed. We walked to the tourist attractions because we wanted to discover everything the area had to offer, but if you prefer transport there is a metro and buses in the 100m vicinity. The neighborhood also has a lot of small bars and restaurants hidden from the main street.

  Comments: Super zentrale Lage der Wohnung. Leider war Katja selber aus privaten Gründen nicht vor Ort. Sie hat uns aber einen Stadtplan mit vielen Verbindungen des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs und den Sehenswürdigkeiten mit ihren eigenen Notizen versehen, die für uns sehr nützlich waren. Der Check in war auch sehr unproblematisch, da ein Freund von Katja vor Ort war. Wir hatten das Glück, dass das Wetter gut war und die Dachterrasse immer nutzen konnten, sonst wäre es in dem Zimmer vielleicht eng geworden. Bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Barcelona würden wir gerne wieder bei Katja übernachten. LG Christiane und Frank

  Comments: Excellent accueil de Katja. Tout est conforme à la description. La chambre est très petite c'est vrai mais indépendante, avec sa salle de bain et sa terrasse (il faisait encore un peu frais le soir pour qu'on puisse en profiter mais ça doit être bien agréable quand il fait chaud de s'y poser au retour d'une bonne journée de visites !). L'accès à la cuisine est appréciable pour une boisson fraîche, un thé ou un bon café. Merci Katja.

  Comments: Katja was away but her friend Hector was around to pass me the house keys. The room was as advertised and the outdoor terrace adjoining it was wonderful to have drinks; with lovely view of cityscape and the mountains. Location wise it's unbearable - buses and metro stations close proximity. Supermarkets and cafes/restaurants just across the streets. Highly recommended for solo traveller and a tight squeeze but still do-able for a couple.

  Comments: 很可爱的房间,有个可爱的小阳台｡ 房间的装饰很小清新,蓝色,还细心的准备了水｡出机场坐大巴很方便,跟着Katja给的指示很快就能找到,不要看Airbnb给的 (Hidden by Airbnb) 定位哦｡房间在apartment的二楼,卫生间也是,很私人的｡除了房间确实小了点一切都很完美｡虽然房东有事不能接待我们但是没有任何不方便的地方!Katja是很好的房东｡水果店,餐厅都在附近很方便｡还有附近一家韩料叫soban的很好吃!大家可以去试试!

  Comments: Meine Freundin und ich verbrachten 3 Nächte in Barcelona und hatten bei Katja die ideale Unterkunft mit zwei getrennten Betten, einer schnuckeligen Dachterrasse und einem eigenen Bad. Die Metrostation ist nahebei und Katja, die nicht persönlich anwesend sein konnte, hatte uns nützliche Tipps für die Umgebung aufgeschrieben. Es war Mitte Juni sehr heiß und wir waren SEHR dankbar für die Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Der Aufzug im Haus ist auch eine Attraktion! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

  Comments: Katja's place is so lovely! It's in a great location for walking (or getting the bus/ train) to various tourist sites, as well as local restaurants and shops. The flat was very homely and clean; it was a super stay. Our favourite part was the private roof terrace giving views across the city. Thank you Katja!

  Comments: The accommodation was perfect for our stay in Barcelona. The apartment has so much character and is lovely and airy and light. The roof terrace is wonderful we spent every morning and evening admiring the views of Barcelona. The air conditioning works really well and is very quiet. The provision of a hairdryer and shampoo is great for when you are travelling light. There are lots of mirrors perfect for ladies who want to do their hair. Katja was so helpful with directions and information. We found the public transport so good and so close to the apartment. We used the Aerobus from the airport and back at the end of our stay and it is only a few roads away from Katjas apartment. It was great being able to use the fridge and kitchen to prepare breakfast and a hot drink. Katja was the perfect host.

  Comments: Katja's apartment is fantastic. The space is comfortable with two beds, bathroom, an air conditioner and an incredible terrace with outdoor furniture, plants and a great view of the surrounding hills and much of the City of Barcelona. The space is wonderfully private. The whole upstairs: bedroom, bath and terrace makeup the rental so you get a great space to yourself. Katja is a terrific host! She went out of her way to accommodate our somewhat complicated travel schedule and we will never forget that. She is also extremely knowledgeable of the locality and more than willing to help and give great advice. She provided us with water and espresso pods for her Nespresso, which made for great coffee in the mornings. We can't wait to come back!

  Comments: Katja is a very good and nice host. We had a wonderfull stay at her room with nice view from the balcony. The room is clean and there is also a good airconditioning. Fine when it is hot in the city. We had our own bathroom. If you want to visit Barcelona for a few days, I really recommend her place.

  Comments: Katja's place is close to sants main railway station (12 minutes walk) and about a 5 minute walk to closest metro. The patio is a nice to sit on during the evening (we played cards, ate pizza!) Katja kindly gave us a map and marked on it and explained bus/metro routes. Even though we had no problems during our visit, we knew we could ask or leave a note on table for her. We used kitchen to make coffee but ate meals out. Can recommend Veggie garden, even if you're not a vegetarian and Bacoa burger right on sea front (meat and vegetarian). You must book in advance online for basilica sagrada familia, probably a week in advance or you won't get in, and Sant Pau hospital is definitely worth a visit and is just a 10 minute walk away from sagrada. Enjoy

  Comments: Stayed at Katja's place with my BF and we loved it! It's in a great part of town that's extremely walkable to all the tourist sights (or you can take an easy bus) and also has a ton of cute restaurants. The room itself is small but Katja communicated that beforehand and it was 100% what we expected when we walked in since she did a great job of conveying the size online. With the terrace and the extra twin/day bed, it didn't even feel small at all. It also felt like our own apartment because of the private bathroom and the fact that Katja herself is super quiet. (Also, the AC was amazing to have a couple of nights!) Overall, we loved Katja's place (and how helpful she was) and hope to be back soon!!

  Comments: Katja is an amazing host and her place is absolutely stunning. My boyfriend and I ended up not using busses besides getting from and to the airport so it is absolutely in the walking distance to most major attractions. It has a beautiful view with a really nice terrace. The room itself is small but for us it was more than sufficient enough, everything was really clean and very well prepared. The flat is filled with loads of beautiful art and it is done in a very charming but stylish manner. Barcelona itself is definitely worth seeing and I do recommend walking around as you can find loads of good places to see that way. Besides the obvious attractions like the museums, beaches etc. I strongly recommend going to one of the magical fountain spectacles in the evening (just 20 minutes away from the flat).

  Comments: Katja has a wonrful place with a terrace overlooking the city. Montjuïc is right in front of it and La Sagrada Familia to the right. The longest walk we took from her place was 35 min to camp nou, all the other ones to Sants station, Barrio Gotico, Magic fountain and Sagrada familia were shorter walks. As far a Katja we could have asked for a better host, she was simply amazing. Great personality l, warm, welcoming and always with a smile.

  Comments: On a passé un agréable séjour dans la chambre/studio. On se sent vraiment indépendant, et la vue de la terrasse est juste magnifique. La chambre est petite mais confortable avec une salle de bain attenante. Tout est soignée avec beaucoup de détails. Le logement est situé dans un quartier sympa, plutôt calme par rapport au rythme de Barcelona, avec pas mal de commerces aux alentours et à seulement +- 15 min à pie du centre ville. Katja s'est montrée très sympa et disponible pendant tout notre séjour. Sans doute un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Muchas gracias Katja!!

  Comments: We loved this place! Katja gave us the warmest greetings along with a map and directions to places we wanted to go! She was so helpful and nice :) The place was great with an amazing balcony that over looked Barcelona! We were about 25 min walk from the Ramblas but busing was very convenient and safe.   Comments: We can highly recommend staying at Katja’s place. Everything was perfect throughout our stay. Katja’s communication and instructions on how to find the apartment were accurate and concise. With good advice on which transport to use from the airport. The apartment was spotlessly clean and everything you could possibly need was provided, including some complimentary coffee. Although Katja described the room as very small it was plenty big enough with the added bonus of a fabulous terrace with great views of the city. Barcelona was an amazing place to explore with fabulous cafe’s and restaurant’s in abundance. We particularly loved the cafe directly outside the apartment which offered good food and drinks at very reasonable prices with a very friendly service. We had a fabulous time and will certainly return ....x x

The place felt like it was our own for the weekend, having a private bathroom and own terrace was really nice. There were some really thoughtful items for you to use in the apartment, all the toiletries you need, water and umbrellas as we got caught in it on our last day! I would definitely recommend Katjas place to other travellers. Very good value for money!

  Comments: Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Die Lage des Zimmers ist super, man ist gleich bei den Bus Stationen und in wenigen Minuten erreicht man die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch der Balkon im Zimmer ist großartig, das Zimmer jedoch ist sehr klein, das Bad sehr alt und renovierungsbedürftig. Aber für eine Städtereise und ein paar Tage optimal. Kann es weiter empfehlen!!
