    Comments: Ercan is wonderful, as his family, and they will very quickly make you feel welcome. The apartment is beautifully designed and has everything you would need for both a short or long term stay. The house requires a climb up a few hill or staircases, but the neighborhood is utterly charming--it feels like a intimate village within Istanbul's grand sweep. It is also located on the Bosphorous with lovely walks and restaurants. I would definitely recommend staying here, but be certain you are comfortable with dogs!

The house itself is so nicely designed and comfortable and feels much bigger in real life. Perfect for a couple. Great views from the balcony. Most of all, Ercan is such a fantastic host and really made our stay memorable; giving us all the great local tips among other acts of generosity. Can't recommend enough. Thanks again Ercan!

    Comments: Ercan was such a lovely host. He was fast with responses, picked us up at Taksim to take us to the house (which was really appreciated because he lives at the top of a steep hill), and was generous with his suggestions/recommendations. We visited at least three restaurants on his recommendation (loved them all). The house itself is wonderful to stay in. It is petit, but plenty of space for two people. The views from the deck and living room windows are amazing! Of course, you have to earn this view by climbing the hill! This was not bad, but do be prepared for a 10 min hilly walk from the closest bus stop. The view and house is worth it. Ercan has three dogs and they stay in the "compound", but not the house itself. The dogs are friendly and lovable. The location in Arnavutkoy is wonderful. You feel like you're in a village inside Istanbul. I would really recommend it.

    Comments: Ercan is a great person who helped and guided us very well. The house met our expectations perfectly. The neighborhood (Arnavutkoy) is an amazing place. Almost fall into love with the region.... The house is on the hill so if you like to walk and hike it is perfect for you. The place is not for from the shore where the center of the town is, so not much walk but the sharp uphills might be challenging to some. However if you hire a cap no problem at all, they all come up and drop you off in front of the house. The taxi prices are not expensive. We, personally, took the cap only once during our one week stay, other times enjoyed walking among old Turkish stile houses and absorbing the superb view glaring under a beautiful sun.
