  Comments: This was my first experience with Airbnb, and what an experience. The Poipu Turtle Suite was beyond my expectation. Everything you need for a great time is provided. We had everything from boogie- boards and snorkel gear to insulated shopping bags and a garlic press! This 3000sqft home was immaculate and comfortable. It more than accommodated our party of 5 and the occasional visitors. All of the pictures accurately depict the home and views. Turtle Suite is perfectly located adjacent to shopping, beaches, and points of interested. We used the garage at night, but the location is in a quiet safe neighborhood, so security was of no concern to us. Joshua went above his call of duty for us. He was easy to get a hold of and he answered all of my questions immediately and with the utmost of care (I asked A LOT of questions). We ended up needing the house for a few hours longer on our departure date. Without hesitation, Joshua was able to grant our request. It really made our departure that much more convenient for us. I had a wonderful time on Kauai and at the Turtle Suite. I would love to visit more of Joshua's listings, I am sure they are as described.

  Comments: Josh and his team made us feel very welcome -- offering to schedule activities, checking in on day one to make sure the rental was in line with our expectations, and even switching out the BBQ on the property with a new one after we realized the old one hadn't been cleaned in a while. Overall a great place to stay and a great location, if a little pricey for the stated maximum of guests (the unit could easily fit 10-12 folks with all the convertible sofas around).

  Comments: My family and I had a wonderful time staying at the Turtle suite on Kauai in Poipu. The house had all the basics we needed to feel at home. The house was way bigger than I anticipated, which was nice because it gave all five of us extra room. Any question or issue we had was quickly answered and resolved. On the day of departure our flight was delayed by a few hours. We immediately contacted Joshua asking if we could have a later check out time and he referred us to the right person to make it happen.

  Comments: We arrived to Kaua'i in the afternoon on 11/19/15. The directions provided were spot on, though we did take a wrong turn (our error), but we ended up at the house without difficulty. We really liked the area the house was located in...just a block walk to the Poipu Beach area, on a quiet street, but next to a bar/restaurant with a great breakfast! The home itself was VERY spacious and comfortable. It can certainly sleep a large family, an extended family group, or a group of adults easily. The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking and baking, and we could not find any piece of kitchen equipment that was not included. The beds and bedding in each room were very comfortable, and all in our party slept well each night. The towels provided were clean, soft and numerous enough to cover 3 adults & 2 kids. Large beach towels were provided as well. WiFi and cable were provided, as was a Blu-Ray player with surround sound system. A pleasant surprise was that Poipu Beach is a great area for amateur snorkeling, without paying for an organized tour! Easy access to many local shops, restaurants, activities. A perfect fit for 3 adults & 2 kids for a week. We will specifically look for the property for future bookings.

  Comments: Nejhezčí ubytování během našeho třítýdenního putování po havajských ostrovech. Nádherná vila, vkusně vybavená. Blízko skvělé pláže Poipu, kde se můžete přihlásit do surfařské školy. S ubytovatelem jsme se bohužel neviděli, ale vše bylo pro nás připravené do posledního detailu. Jen je škoda, že jsme mu nemohli poděkovat osobně. Pobyt v této vile všem vřele doporučuji, je to špička!

  Comments: What a great place! Short walk to Poipu beach and several great restaurants. Spacious, comfortable and a very well supplied kitchen. We were there to celebrate my other half's 60th birthday and this place was perfect. There were enough beds for 8 and with all the futons that made cozy couches, you could sleep another 8 with ease. We were a bit low on propane before the big BBQ party so I called Joshua and he sent somebody right out to fill the tanks. We also had a small issue with one of the toilets running and I was able to text him and again, instantly fixed. I would not hesitate to stay there again and will recommend it to all my family and friends. Mahalo Joshua!

  Comments: Bad experience in this place. The mattress's had vinyl bags around them under the sheets. Upstairs bathroom had mold and caused breathing issues for me. The view wasn't as shown online unless you are standing in one exact place and tall enough to see over the trees. The upstairs door to outside didn't close unless the deadbolt was locked. There is a noisy bar next door full of drunks.

  Comments: We loved Poipu Turtle Suite. The home is much bigger on the inside than it appears in the pics on Airbnb. The view from the master deck was great (you can see the ocean and palm trees, but not the beach). You also have use of a garage in the event you rent a convertible or want to take the top off a Jeep. The kitchen is well appointed and you also have access to both gas and charcoal grills. The beach is a short walk (2 minutes) to Brenneke Beach, and a couple more minutes to Poipu Beach. Very convenient if you don't want to deal with parking at either (the public parking lot gets busy during the day). Josh and his team were very helpful and called back when I had a question almost immediately. Thanks! I will definitely try to stay at Turtle Suite when I next visit Kauai.

  Comments: Joshua was very easy to communicate with. The home is larger than it looks from the pictures, and the kitchen is well appointed making it easy to cook for ourselves during our stay. There all lots of beach towels, chairs and snorkeling equipment too. There's a beautiful beach just a the end of the road. It was a great place for our family vacation of 7 (including a toddler) and we would happily return.

  Comments: Wow! This place was everything and more we had hoped for. In fact I do not think the photo's or descriptions do it justice. It is perfectly positioned in a quite spot right near the beach. The house is so large and spacious, and everything is done well - the comfortable and large beds, the tasteful traditional yet modern furnishings, the huge bathrooms, the wireless/entertainment options etc etc etc. For a family of 7 it made everything so easy and helped make this an unforgettable stay on a truly magnificent island paradise

The location is amazing as it is next to great beaches to body surf and just play in the waves. When I had trouble checking in, Joshua and his staff worked diligently after hours to ensure I was able to get in to the house late at night when we arrived.

  Comments: Turtle Suite blew our socks off! It was an incredible location-just a 5 minute walk to the perfect 'kid friendly' beaches. There also appeared to be great surf spots at the bottom of the street as well. There are also stores and a couple of restaurants nearby as well. We loved Breneckies Beach House and the local surf store for food and shopping. The house itself was incredibly spacious, very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities needed, such as soap and laundry liquid. We loved that there was a huge washer and dryer, as well as air conditioning. 4 adults and 2 kids stayed, but definitely plenty of room for another couple and child. Josh was a fast and friendly communicator. I am so glad we chose this place to stay for our family holiday. Honestly, we could not fault it on ANYTHING. A MUST STAY for families or a large group!

  Comments: This place is huge! It was just my fiancee and me staying here but it was more suited for a large family vacation. The location was excellent as you could walk to the beach in less than 5 minutes. The kitchen had everything you could want to make a home cooked meal and there was a bar/restaurant right around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay there and would highly recommend it!

  Comments: Really is a great place. Acces to the beach is perfect. Generously sized unit gave our party of 5 space to spread out. Kitchen stocked very well. Full size washer and dryer came in handy. Gas grill worked well. There was even a crockpot which I could have used had I planned my menus around it! And, wifi worked beautifully. Great vacation unit for our family and Josh was on top of everything!

  Comments: The view is from the upstairs master bedroom lanai, there is a small view from the downstairs lanai, but that is not a problem as you are literally steps away from Brenneke's Beach. The house was very comfortable and there was enough room for privacy for everyone. The management was very helpful and responded quickly when contacted by message and phone call. We enjoyed our stay.

  Comments: This is quite a nice house. The view from upstairs is lovely. Short walk to the beach, where sea turtles and monk seals hang out and don't seem to be bothered by people. The house is huge! There were 7 of us total and the house had more than enough space and beds. Two families could easily share this rental and be happy and comfortable. The upstairs and downstairs of the house are almost separate 2bd/1ba units. It had been professionally cleaned prior to our arrival. There are boogie boards, snorkel gear and beach chairs in the garage, which was very useful for us. The kitchen is stocked with some basics and you're set up to run to the grocery store and make meals at the house, if you want. There are even gas and charcoal grills and outdoor picnic tables for your use, if you want them. We chose to do breakfast at home, then eat out for all lunches and dinners, since there's a lot to try on the island. The only downside is that the rental was fairly expensive, but since my family and I had a great time, in the end I think it was worth the cost.

  Comments: Just returned from a week at TURTLE SUITES and it is a great place to stay. Six adults stayed and there was easily room for two more. The location is GREAT. Short walk to beAch where we saw monk seals, turtles and snorkelling was wonderful. The extra of the fitness club was a great touch for our adult children. Lots of good restaurNts nearby some within walking distance. Suites were clean, well stocked, with lots of extras - beach chairs, boogie boards. We would all highly recommend staying here

  Comments: Great, spacious apartment that felt quite private from the neighboring unit despite sharing walls. Huge bedrooms and bathrooms, everything was really clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils etc. Booking and arrangements were really easy and we loved having the short, quiet walk to Poipu Beach Park. Great for our 3.5 year old and easy on us! Would def stay here again.

  Comments: If you want to enjoy the best beach on the island (Poipu) and a place with an ocean view, this is it! We could easily walk to the beach every day, and if you want to grab a beer or a bite to eat, you're right by Kalapaki Joe's and Brennecke's. The availability of an AC was a bonus! The place is managed by top-notch professionals. HIGHLY recommend staying here. We had six (four adults, two kids) and everyone was happy!

  Comments: The Turtle Suites is a massive condo/home in an amazing location in Poipu. It is literally across the street from Brenneke's beach and up a small short lane. Poipu Beach and Brennekes were within walking distance and we walked to them everyday multiple times. Other guests left chairs, umbrella, boogie boards and sand toys in the garage so we were able to use them at the beach. There was so much space to spread out in the unit and relax. There are actually three official bedrooms as listed but a fourth sleeping area/room with a double bed and a twin trundle underneath that can be partitioned off by an accordian (Website hidden by Airbnb) there are actual beds for ten with at least six futons that can be slept on as well. There are two 'family rooms' with large HD televisions and a great kitchen space. We had views of the ocean from both bedrooms upstairs as well as the upstairs and downstairs lanais. Another review said that there was only one working shower downstairs but the upstairs shower works fine it just has a different way of turning the water from the faucet to the shower. There is a ring around the opening of the faucet where the water comes out that you have to pull down to transfer water from tub to shower. :) There are two grills outside the garages with picnic tables on the grass. We used the grill that was basically brand new (garages are a separate building from the home) Be aware that the pool, hot tub, bball courts, workout space, pickleball courts are not right next to the property but down the road a mile...and it closes at 7. That was a bit disappointing but the home was not. Before you go to the store to buy seasonings and sauces check out the cupboard and drawer between the fridge and microwave...there are tons of them in the home to use. There were tons of pots and pans, two toasters, a blender and coffee maker (we did not use this tho). There was not any big bowl or glass baking dishes to use. We have been burned several times by airbnb's before so were so pleased with this location. You will be amazed at how large it is and the location is awesome. I am very impressed by the speed of communication each time I had a question. Check in and out were a breeze.

  Comments: We were very happy with the Turtle Suite. The house was well-appointed, well-stocked, clean, and spacious - it could easily accommodate far more than our group of 7. The on-island property management was very responsive - when we had a broken ceiling fan, they sent someone to fix it within a couple of hours. The location is fantastic, just 5 minutes' walk from Brennecke's Beach and Poipu Beach Park. Overall, our stay was wonderful and we would certainly stay there again.

We really enjoyed the Athletic club. Great cardio equipment and the pool is wonderful but a bit shallow. 2 restaurants within an easy walk. It’s in a nice neighborhood that’s very safe to walk around at any time of day or night.
