Space: Cozy room! It has a double bed, cable led tv, dvd, internet wi-fi (you must bring your laptop) and climatizator. Vacancy for 1 and 2 people. Near the Lagoon, Ipanema Beach, 6 minutes walk from the metro and public transport points. Near the best restaurants and bars of Ipanema. We live with 2 small friendly dogs. The guest, of course you will have access to the entire house including the kitchen to prepare their food, if you want. Of course we are living in the apartment too! Nearby are pharmacies, hospital, supermarket, bakeries, shops, shopping malls and all kinds of trade necessary for a quiet and comfortable. In Leblon, a neighborhood that is right next to Ipanema (about 20/25 minute walk) is beyond all that is in Ipanema, shopping malls and cinema. We have 2 small dogs super gentle and playful. They are restricted to the service area and kitchen. The second will be in the apartment.

Neighborhood Overview: Ipanema é um bairro muito charmoso no Rio de (Website hidden by Airbnb) uma praia belissima. Também de fácil acesso a supermercados, bares, restaurantes, farmácias, mêtro e etc.

Notes: Pra lembrar que tenho dois cachorrinhos. Mas são muito bem cuidados e limpos.

Transit: Muito próximo ao mêtro.

Access: Oi, na minha casa você vai ter acesso ao quarto alugado, sala de estar, cozinha e banheiro.

Interaction: Infelizmente não falo inglês, mas, estou disponivel para ajuda-los no que precisarem.

    Comments: We stayed with Carlos in his apartment for four nights ov (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) New Year. The room was large with air conditioning and the rest of the flat was tidy and with everything you would expect. The flat is in a large block with secure access and very quiet. The location is excellent in Ipanema with only a short walk to beach and loads of good places to eat and drink nearby. Carlos, his wife and two dogs were perfect hosts inviting us to join them for New Year celebrations which was a lot of fun. I would highly recommend renting Carlos' apartment to anyone looking for a little slice of Rio life.

    Comments: My friend Kristina and I stayed in Rio for 10 days during Carnaval and felt we stayed in the best place possible. The location is excellent - it is safe and just a few blocks from the beach and 1-3 blocks from the various Carnaval block parties that took place which allowed us to enjoy Carnaval amongst locals. The building is also in a 24-hr. secure, gated building. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated and Carlos and Giane were the sweetest and most accommodating hosts. We had the time of our life here and highly recommend this room for anyone looking to stay in Rio.

    Comments: The hostess Giane is very nice. Clean and quiet apartment, convenient location -- 5 mins walk to the center of ipanema and metro station. Absolutely enjoyed our stay here over the carnival.

    Comments: Giane was checking in appropriately to make sure that I had everything I needed. The room was very comfortable and the apartment is located in a great neighborhood of Rio. I enjoyed staying here and had no issues. I'd definitely stay here again!

    Comments: Comfortable apartment in a great area, we felt very safe walking around. The area is super convenient for the metro, buses and Ipanema beach. The building has 24hr security and everyone we met was really friendly.

    Comments: I had a great stay in Ipanema! Giane is very helpful and a great host. The room is perfect, just like it was described in the pictures. Fully equipped with AC, TV and wifi. The apartment is in a great location, close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and services. The neighborhood feels safe and friendly. I certainly recommend this room for a vacation in Rio!

    Comments: Giane is a very lovely and social person who will happily show you her favourite spots and night life around Ipanema. The 2 dogs are gorgeous & the house was well equipped for all my needs & in the perfect location for the metro, shops & beach, while still being far enough away from the busy strip of Ipanema main. I would happily stay with Giane again.

    Comments: Giane is a lovely person, but she has two dogs living full time in her tiny apartment. One is very old, sick and can't walk so toilet issues are a problem. I discovered that she had showered the dog in the same shower as I was using (only one shower) to wash off faeces and urine. As they don't go outside to toilet, the smell was an issue, as poo and pee would sit on the newspaper all day. The mattress had blood and sweat stains, so slept with my sarong over the sheet. I think these issues need to be addressed before she continues to do Airbnb. As I said, she is. lovely person, but I only stayed four out of the seven nights I booked, as preferred to stay with friends rather than sleep on the mattress.
