Neighborhood Overview: Located on one of the most charming pedestrian streets near several restaurants, bars and shops, you are 15 minutes walk from the Place des Arts and 10 minutes from the Mont-Royal avenue. A beautiful green area, Mont-Royal Park, 5 minutes walk from the apartment to go for picnik near the lake or for winter skating. Public parking is available just behind the building and the metro station is 8 minutes walk. This is the real-deal Montreal. The Plateau's arterial St-Laurent boulevard and St-Denis street, are just around the corner. Up and down the stretch you'll find a variety of places to eat, drink, and be entertained. This apartment is in the section of the Plateau warmly referred as the hart of the PLATEAU with all the ICONIC RESTAURANTS: Beauties, L'Avenue, Swartz, Willinsky, L'Express , Romados, St-Viateur Bagel, Fairmont Bagel, Cafe Rico ,Cafe Olympico and many more. Transit: Lots of great spots to explore in walking distance, including Mount Royal Park. The nearest metro station is a 8 minute walk away and will get you Old Montreal and Downtown in about 10 minutes. PARKING. There are few options for parking: On street paid parking for 3$/hour or a private lot a block away for 12$/day with in and out priviledges. Even some free spots on crossing streets depending on dates & time, please read & respect the city signs. PARKING LOT 12$/night, in & out privileges. Please note: the parking attendant isn’t always there!!! Look for little notes he puts in the window of the cabin. Please share this info with all your guests!
