Neighborhood Overview: Oma'oma'o Falls is in the private, secluded neighborhood called Reed's Island. This is a special neighborhood right in Hilo, surrounded on both sides by rivers, streams, and countless waterfalls. Luckily, on our side of the street, the water is clean and safe for swimming. Many visitors love walking the neighborhood street to admire the historic homes and flower and fruit tree filled yards. Hilo town is within walking distance, 20-30 mins each way. Volcano National Park is 30 mins away. The beaches of Hilo, with their lava rock coastline and turquoise waters are within 10 mins.

Notes: Please be advised that the yard is still a work in progress and is therefore a bit rugged to get around. Also, as our guest, you must accept 100% responsibility of your person and your possessions and release all liabilities from the homeowner.

Transit: You will want a car to access the local destinations. Walking from the house is quite enjoyable, but more ideal for sight seeing.

Access: You have complete access to the home, property, and beautiful - swimmable waterfall.
