Neighborhood Overview: Bronte was recently featured in the New York Times travel article, 36 hours in Sydney. “About a mile south of the more famous Bondi Beach, along a breathtakingly beautiful waterfront walkway is Bronte Beach, a boomerang of golden sand nestled between wind-worn cliffs, a verdant public park and the Tasman Sea." The beach also features ocean baths. Take a mask and snorkel and walk to the next beach, Clovelly Beach, to see the protected Blue Gropers or a boogie board to the surf beaches, Coogee, Tamarama and of course, Bondi. Our street is quiet, even when the beach is very busy on hot days.
Notes: It is located around the corner from Three Blue Ducks, a casual cafe and restaurant opened by three surfer friends that is featured in the 2014 Good Food Guide as one of the best cafe and restaurants in Sydney's eastern suburbs. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby too: Vietnamese, Italian, Seafood, macrobiotic, modern Australian and much more. Food allergies are catered for if you need gluten free or lactose free breakfast. We try to be sustainable and use recycled products and the garden is watered by a combination of water captured in rainwater tanks and town water. The garden is fertilised by organic compost produced in both compost bins and worm farms. We have Australian native stingless bees that are kept away from the studio that help pollinate the garden. This means that we don't use any pesticides in the garden as we don't want to harm the bees.
Transit: A 2 minute walk to the 440 bus that will deliver you into the city in 20 minutes or 10 mins to Bondi Junction where you can catch the train to the city.
Access: The studio has its own verdant garden of orchids, avocado trees, banana palms and passionfruit vines. It is surrounded by a hedge and is private from the main house, set 20 metres away across the garden. There is a large outdoor timber topped table to spread out on. The access is level from the street. Follow the brick paved drive way to the back gate to the garden. Guests can conveniently come and go without disturbing others.
Interaction: Your hosts, Susan and Greg, provide local knowledge of the eastern suburbs of Sydney as well as their favourite Sydney sights, what's on in Sydney, where to eat and getting around on public transport.
House Rules: No smoking. There is a no visitor policy as it is our private garden which guests are welcome to use. However if you want to discuss please check with us about visitors well in advance.

Comments: Susan is great and a very attentive and friendly host and very informative on where things are locally and in Sydney if you don't know the area so well. I really enjoyed my stay at Bronte B&B studio. It is a lovely space in a garden setting, quiet and in a street where you can park easily and walk to the beach and restaurants. The studio is well set up with a comfy bed and everything you would need. The fridge was packed with nice things like strawberries and yogurt and it's easy to have a light meal/breakfast etc. There's also an outside paved area among the trees with table and chairs which makes it lovely. Bronte is a great area and the cliff walk to Bondi is great. I would fully recommend this and so much better than staying in a hotel.

Comments: What a perfect introduction to air bnb. Susan is the most welcoming host and from the moment we arrived we felt at home. The immaculate studio is set in a beautiful garden in your own private oasis. Susan could not do enough for us and her attention to detail made our experience flawless. The fresh flowers on the bedside, the organic range of breakfast treats & crisp comfortable linen made it hard to leave. The location is an easy walk to the local cafés, transport & beach. Everything is at your finger tips. We cannot thank Susan enough for making our stay the perfect few days away, we look forward to coming back.

Comments: The little room at the back of Susan and her family's house really is a garden retreat. This part of Bronte is very quiet as you are away from the busy streets. We were made to feel very welcome with email communication beforehand and coffee/tea/breakfast supplies in the mini fridge and a little chocolate was a lovely surprise. This place is clean and private and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here. The bonus was being able to walk from the house down to Bronte beach through the beautiful park nearby.

Comments: This is a great place to stay, beautifully presented, very private (including own entrance), great location (in terms of proximity to Bronte beach, the Bondi cliff walk, local restaurants and public transport to the city), and extremely comfortable. The apartment is set at the rear of the stunning backyard garden with its own outside private area with table and chairs. Hosts are engaging, helpful and interesting without being intrusive.

Comments: I loved staying at Bronte B&B Studio. Such a peaceful spot where the loudest noises are those of glorious bird-calls. The bed was very comfortable. The provided breakfast food delicious. Susan was prompt in replying to queries before my stay and then on the day was really terrific helping out with a rushed task that was well above the expected. I would recommend Bronte B&B unreservedly.

Comments: We were warmly greeted by the owner Gregory, who showed us the studio and provided useful information like where to eat, distances to regions etc. The studio was immaculate – very clean & stylishly decked out. The studio includes thoughtful touches such as: maps and travels guides of Sydney, wifi, iPod/iPhone sound system adapter, beach towels, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hair dryer, iron. The kitchenette was complete with amenities and complimentary food: oats, yoghurt, orange juice, fruit, milk, coffee. The studio is in a gorgeous garden setting. Its quiet and located just 5 min walk from the beach and 3 min walk from the delicious Three Blue Ducks. We would definitely recommend booking Bronte B & B Studio.

Comments: I booked this studio for my parents as we were visiting Australia for a whirlwind tour that required a lot of travelling in a short space of time. I could see they were tired and needed a nice place to relax for the day before we flew the very long journey back to Ireland and I felt Susan and Greg's studio looked perfect. I had a lot of questions for Susan before I booked (and I was also booking very last minute) and she took the time to respond to each one, and very promptly too. My parents only stayed for one night (two days) but they really enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the room and the area. The studio is bright, airy and comfortable with lovely bed sheets and complimentary beach towels which was a nice and thoughtful touch. A lovely array of breakfast foods was left out and Susan and Greg also offered a great recommendation for a cafe nearby that turned out very well. Bronte is a beautiful and peaceful area and the coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi is absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this area and this studio for those looking for some peaceful beach time.

Comments: Susan's garden studio is a tranquil oasis hidden amongst the crazy world of over priced, poor quality and noisy Eastern Suburbs rentals. It was such a pleasure to have found this place. It's the perfect place to recharge. Everything was clean and beautifully presented and the studio was stocked with everything you might need, right down to spare toiletries/ umbrella/ Tupperware! And the breakfast provisions were just delicious. It's one of those places you don't want to tell too many people about, just in case it's booked out next time I want to visit.

Comments: Staying with Susan and Greg was the perfect airbnb experience. They checked on us on our way in to Sydney to make sure we knew where to come, met us on arrival with maps and great local knowledge about the best things to do in Bronte and surrounds and provided a tranquil beautiful sanctuary with amazing provisions. We almost ran out of fridge space! :-) the garden is gorgeous and a beautiful place to sit and the bed was the best we've slept in since leaving home months ago. Greg and Susan even did our laundry for us! Way above and beyond ... All I have left to say is stop web searching and stay here. You wont find better.

Comments: We love staying in the studio - it was high standard accommodation and everything was perfect for us. We also loved the area and it is easy to get around by bus everywhere if you didn't want to hire a car. Susan and Greg were amazing hosts - they were extremely helpful and welcoming and even took us along to the local Starfish club one evening which we really enjoyed. If you want to stay in 5 star boutique type accommodation in a beautiful garden setting with great hosts book this studio .

Comments: Susan's Bronte cottage was fabulous! So beautiful, light-filled and comfortable. Susan has taken care to make the studio a real home away from home. When staying at an apartment while on a trip it's often the little things you remember the most that help make your trip a special one. There was muesli, milk, juice and fresh fruit waiting upon arrival. How lovely! And the location could not be better--a 10- minute walk to the beach (one of Sydney's most beautiful!), and an even shorter one to the charming main street with cafes and shops. Thanks so much, Susan. Can't wait for the next visit!

Comments: The Bronte B&B Studio is a little gem in a beautiful seaside neighbourhood, and yet with good transportation links to the CBD. The accommodation is exactly as pictured, and is very peaceful, being in the garden of Susan and her husband's lovely home. Our hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful, telling us about local restos, public transit into the city, and calling taxis when we needed a faster mode of transportation. The breakfast provisions provided were generous and healthful, and we appreciated Susan remembering that we are vegetarians. If you want a relaxing stay in Sydney, near a beach, the Bronte B&B Studio is the ticket, and Susan and her husband are great hosts. Highly recommended.

Comments: The Bronte B&B Studio was just the space we were looking for after returning from a week out bush over new years. The studio is private, clean and tranquil. A little oasis in the heart of Bronte with the beach only a short (hilly) walk away. Fridge was stocked with juice, milk and fresh mangoes (yum!) and the bathroom with organic and cruelty free products. It was a delight to stay. Susan was great to deal with and also offered to keep our bags in the main house while we went out sight seeing as we had a late flight. Highly recommend.

You have an area of the garden to your self. The studio have all your need for a perfect stay. The soap is lovely (Susan helped us buy some, to take home). The beakfast all organic, lovely mangos, avocado, lovely bread, everyting tasted amazinig. The area has some nice restaurants and coffee shops, bronte beach is lovely to. You will use a bit of time in public transportation going to Bondi junction. to connect with the train and other busses. You can do amazing walks close to the ocean, and make sure to go to Coogee Beach too. Susan was a lovely host and took very good care of us and was very helpfull, very easy to communicate with. Comments: We were made to feel very welcome from the start and the Studio was exactly what we were hoping - quiet and peaceful, yet we were still close to all attractions. The Studio is located within what could be called a " secret garden" and our privacy was guaranteed. Walk to Bronte beach (downhill there but uphill on return) and enjoy the coastal walk from Bondi to Coogee. Thanks again.

Comments: I loved staying with Susan and Greg! The studio was well-furnished, and it provided the comforts of home. The fridge was stocked w easy breakfast goodies, and I was really enchanted by their gorgeous gardens. It's also a very quiet and nice area, roughly 5-10 minute walk to Bronte Beach. From Bronte, you can do the coastal walk through to Tamarama and Bondi. It made for a perfect weekend away to be at the beach and living like a local, and with such lovely hosts. I would stay with them again given the chance.

Comments: Susan and Greg were brilliant hosts having thought of everything beyond just a comfortable stay for the three of us. There was Greg ready with maps and things to do, places to eat, Cricket kit for my 7 yr old boy and easy to remember wifi password. Susan had a mini botanic tour for us at her pretty garden early morning. And to top it all they even helped us pack! Best hosts ever...

Comments: Me and my boyfriend stayed for 3 nights in the Bronte studio and absolutely loved it! The self-contained studio is at the back of the main house in the beautiful garden and Susan has really thought of everything you could possibly need. Susan and Greg were lovely hosts with lots of helpful advice and information about the local area (we loved Clovelly Bowls Club situated on top of a cliff where you can visit as a guest for a few very reasonably priced drinks). The neighbourhood is beautiful, with some nice local eateries where we had one of the best (and cheapest) steaks we've ever had at Eugene's! Bronte beach is only a 10 minute walk away, and other beaches (including Bondi) can be reached via a gorgeous coastal walkway. Sydney city centre is easily accessible via the local bus stop at the end of the street. We would love to return and stay with Susan and Greg again, and cannot recommend their beautiful studio enough! Thanks again :).

Comments: Our recent stay with Susan and Greg was every bit as good as we expected. We arrived quite late in the evening which wasn't a problem for Susan and Greg and they made us feel very welcome showing us around and giving us tips on the local area. The studio was very clean and the fridge full of fresh fruit, Juice Yoghurt etc all organic which went down a treat for breakfast. Greg brought us fresh bagels and bread from the local bakery a couple of the mornings which was a nice surprise. They also offered to do some laundry for us which was very thoughtful and a great help as we had been in Australia a couple of weeks by the time we stayed in Bronte. For anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a lovely garden setting in a nice residential area, this is the place to stay. Thanks to you both Cheers Tony & Pat

Comments: Exactly what it said it would be and more. Really lovely private space in the garden of a family home. 10 minutes from the beach (up a steep hill) but a lovely walk and fantastic beach so well worth it. Susan and her family were the best Airbnb hosts we've had. Around just enough to give exactly the right amount of support that we needed without being too much. But also going above and beyond the call of duty bringing gorgeous breakfast food and even helping us with a bit of washing for our 8 week old baby which was so so helpful. Overall it was a really lovely experience with great people. Highly recommended. We'll be back for sure!

Comments: The apartment was lovely and had a lot of privacy. Love that the view from the bed was the garden itself and there are tables outside you can have breakfast at. Amenities were provided and Susan even stocked the fridge with breakfast. Susan was very helpful and even remembered to book a cab for me to the airport when I completely forgot. Neighbourbood is wonderful and safe. Location is near the beach (only 5min walk) and walking distance to the supermarket, restaurants and cafe. Great stay and a highlight during my trip to Australia. Comments: Susan was a fantastic host, she's been very attentive in every detail of our stay, from the first contact to saying goodbye. The place was really lovely and nested in Susan's gorgeous garden, which in itself is a little heaven. The small details, like a lovely breakfast, international power plug adapters, and beach towels were simply delightful. We had a wonderful time and I highly recommend her place.

Comments: My husband and I stayed at Susan's and Greg's studio over three days in early November. When walking through the back garden towards a small building at the back, we were stunned by the subtropical beauty of its setting, with a huge purple jacaranda tree and flowering hedges. The view from the inside towards a private outdoor dining space was no less spectacular. The photos of the interior were very accurate: a light, very nicely decorated and comfortable room, with a well supplied kitchenette (the bar fridge thoughtfully hidden in a cupboard blocking out any possible noise), and an en suite bathroom. Both, Susan and Greg replied to our messages promptly before our arrival and were very welcoming when we got there. At the same time, while available if needed, they left us to ourselves respecting our privacy, which was greatly appreciated. Susan was very generous, supplying not only maps and guides to the area, as well as her personal recommendations regarding local cafés, but leaving ample gourmet breakfast provisions in the fridge, and a surprise basket with fresh bagels, organic butter and Yarra Valley jam on our doorstep the next morning. Its location was our original reason for choosing the studio: in the heart of stunning Bronte, within easy walk to the beaches and the annual Sculpture by the Sea exhibits along the shore between Tamarama and Bondi. What a treat!

Comments: Susan and Greg are some of the most caring, welcoming and thoughtful hosts I have met. Their studio is the perfect place to stay near Bronte beach - light, airy, very clean and well appointed with a super comfortable bed, roomy bathroom and the comforts of home. I awoke every morning to the sound of birds and an ocean breeze, and loved relaxing in the beautiful garden space which they have lovingly created. It offers the quintessential Bronte neighborhood experience - 10 mins stroll to the beach, close to the best restaurants and is located in a lovely street full of native flora. But what makes this home really special are the hosts' thoughtful gestures - everything from the breakfast items they left me, through to local tips and suggestions, as well as an invitation to join them for festive celebrations. They are both natural hosts - available if you need assistance but also offer guests privacy and personal space. This is the perfect place to stay at one of Sydney's best beaches (as a single or couple). I look forward to enjoying Susan and Greg's hospitality and friendship again very soon!

Comments: I think this was my favourite place to stay ever. The weather was very rainy when I stayed but this was the perfect place to hide out, relax and get over my jet lag. Lovely quiet spot. The facilities were fantastic and I arrived to fruit, milk, orange juice, yoghurt...chocolates! The place is beautifully decorated and everything has been thought of! Susan and Greg were just great. Always to hand and very attentive (even doing my washing) but they gave me my space and the accommodation is very private. Couldn't fault it. Thanks so much!

Comments: Bliss! We had such a lovely time in Bronte and that was all thanks to Susan & her husband and their studio setup - to say we highly recommend this place would be an understatement. The location made for a convenient base to access both the city and the nearby surrounds of the eastern suburbs. The studio itself had all the facilities we needed for our stay with the decor and lighting creating the relaxing coastal oasis that we were after - even a tasty local breakfast was provided as a bonus! Thank you Susan, was so lovely meeting you and feeling so welcomed into Bronte.

Comments: We had a lovely time at Susan and Gregg's beach studio. We were made to feel very welcome, the studio was immaculate and every morning we had a basket of fresh bread and jams left outside our door. The studio is nestled under trees which keeps it cool, along with the ceiling fan above the bed. Bronte is a peaceful suburb that is perfectly positioned for everything. The Bondi and Coogee walk is a must and Bronte is on route along that walk. Thank you Susan and Gregg for being a wonderful part of our three week Oz adventure. :-)

Comments: Nature brings out the best in us and this garden studio does exactly that. The studio lies at the bottom of a very grassy garden surrounded by large trees. We loved opening the double studio doors to let the morning light stream in through the leaves. Valentine's Day was a delight with warm bagels, churned butter and strawberry jam delivered to our door. We had planned to go out for breakfast but it was too good to resist and we felt better for staying at home with each other. Bronte cafes, restaurants and beach just a stroll away and we found ourselves talking about moving there. Susan and Greg are awesome hosts. We think this place is pretty special. N

They even helped us with local taxis and arranged a travel cot for our little one. The apartment has great links, with amazing walks to Bronte, Bondi and Coogee. We ate in Susan and Gregs wonderful oasis garden one evening and in local restaurants. The apartment was very clean, practical and just like the description. Would definitely recommend this place!

Comments: We felt very welcome from the first moment. Our little house was in the end of a wonderful garden. We felt very private. The location is fantastic in a quiet place, close to the City and 8 minutes walk to the beach with a wonderful oceanpool to swim in. Susan and Greg are great hosts, very caring and helpful they even did our laundry. They also invited us to a local jazz house and we had a great time together. It seems like the Airbnb spirit comes from their hearts. We loved our stay and would come back if we get the chance. It's highly recommended!

Comments: Such a wonderful place to stay and a wonderful location. Susan and Greg were lovely hosts. They pointed us in the right direction for best places to swim and eat and left us to it. We had a relaxing three days/two nights and managed to get in several trips to the beach. The flat itself was quiet, spotless and very comfortable. Whilst we stayed before arriving here in a hotel in town, this place was better, more relaxing and a place we are already thinking we would like to return to.

Comments: I really enjoyed my stay at this Bronte home. It was exactly as described - only better. It was a safe haven - and easy walking to the best bakery (Iggy's) I've been to, as well as a juice bar, coffee shop and a couple of great restaurants. Also not such an easy stroll to the paths along the coast (just because of the hills!) but no distance at all. Highly recommended.

Comments: Susan was very considerate, warm and welcome, so as hubby :) Garden flat is at the rear of lovingly maintained older style house. Room is as you see in the photo and very tastefully done. quality bedding, loved the floor tiles in the bathroom, leafy garden to enjoy quiet time and reading. Friendly cat sits on your lap. Beware of mozzies though. I am usually the last person to get bitten, but I attracted plenty in the garden. The suburb, shops and Tamarama beach has "local" feel and lot less commercial than places like Bondi and Coogee. Easy bus ride to Bondi junction and city. Very nice coastal walk we enjoyed. We had a nice time.

Susan and her husband are very friendly and welcoming. She was great with communication, and really helpful in providing information about the area. She was very generous in providing tasty breakfast/snack food and drink (specific to our vegan diet) during our stay. Comments: Susan's Bronte B&B is absolutely perfect! Susan and her husband were extremely welcoming and lovely people to have a chat with. Her room in Bronte is located at the end of their beautiful backyard, separate from their house and is precisely as described on Air BnB. The room is bright, spacious, super clean and has all the amenities that one could possibly need whilst away, with a big comfortable bed to boot! Susan had thought of everything for the room, from an iron, insect repellent to breakfast, a fruit bowl, tea, coffee (real coffee) and chocolate!! They are a short walk from cafes and restaurants and Bronte beach and a longer walk to Bondi. Highly recommended host!

Comments: This was a perfect place to stay, and was just as we imagined it. It's in a nice quiet spot yet the beautiful beach and coastline are handy and access to downtown and anywhere else is easy and quick by bus and train (with an Opel card each). The buses often run every 10 minutes. The coastal walks to either Bondi in the north or Coogee in the south are recommended. There were some good choices for restaurants locally or towards Bondi Junction. Susan and Greg were great hosts and were helpful in every way. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when visiting family in Sydney.

Susan also provided suggestions for dinners and cafes to hang out around the Bronte area. She even provided options for vegetarian! The studio is exactly what you see in the pictures with a lovely garden. While we had to walk pass the main house to get to the studio, it was very private at the back of the house and even your own garden. Comments: Best Airbnb stay ever! We like to think that we're pretty good hosts, but we can learn from Susan and Greg. The place is gorgeous, at the back of an enchanted garden (with a private entrance), but totally private. Perfectly set up and equipped for a couple. But it was the personal touches that made it so great: Coffee, tea, milk, juice, bagels delivered to our door, and Susan and Greg were really kind and friendly while giving us all the space we needed. The location is also perfect. Beautifully quiet street, a couple of minutes from a great cafe (Three Blue Ducks) and a fabulous fish restaurant (Moxhe - don't miss out on this one!). Bronte Beach and the gorgeous Bronte-Bondi walk less than ten minutes away on foot. Can't wait to be back for another lovely stay.

It's situated in a suburban area, about 10 minutes walk down the hill to Bronte beach and to the path which is part of the sublime Coastal Walk which runs from Coogee to Bondi. Its also about 200m easy walk to the local shops where there are several great restaurants, a fabulous sourdough bakery, a pharmacy and delicious coffee. This is also where you catch the bus which runs very regularly and goes into the city and to Central via Bondi Junction. We just left our car parked outside the house and used the bus during our stay which we found very easy and convenient. The accommodation is a small separate studio tucked up the back of Susan and Greg's beautiful garden. It has a generous paved area outside with seating which is under a beautiful big old tree which must be gorgeous in summer. The position of the studio creates a sense of space and privacy. The studio itself is small but roomy. It is fresh, modern, tastefully decorated, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. Every detail has been thought of, from the shampoo and conditioner supplied, to the iron and mini ironing board, the spare towels, the beach towels, tissues, crockery and cutlery, to the lovely simple breakfast, coffee, and herbal teas. There is a reverse cycle A/C, TV and radio. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Susan was lovely to deal with, friendly and helpful, and very quick to respond. She and Greg were very welcoming and helpful but then left us to ourselves which is what we like. The studio feels private and separate from the house and is very quiet. We would highly recommend this studio and would be more than happy to stay here again.

Comments: Beautiful independent studio, easy access to transport, to the beach, and the Bronte shops. We had a lovely stay, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. The studio is very quiet, at the back of Susan's lovely property, with its private entrance at the back of the garden . It is nicely furbished, and with all amenities, and lovely touches such as fresh fruits, fresh flowers, and good products for breakfast (and no problem with accomodating for dietary requirements). A great place to stay!

Comments: Susan & Greg's have created a gorgeous little studio at the bottom of their garden in lovely Bronte. It was super comfy, very clean, warm in winter with lots of natural light. A light breakfast is included and it was a lovely touch - the fridge and pantry was stocked with teas, coffee, milk, juice, yogurt, fruit, cheese, cereal and porridge. Greg even dropped us a basket one morning of freshly baked bagels, butter and jam. Just fabulous! Susan and Greg were lovely and very approachable. We spoke about our mutual interest in bees and gardens and Susan was kind enough to leave us some of her books to read. We can't speak highly enough of this airbnb experience - we will definitely be back the next time we visit Sydney.

Comments: Susan's place is perfect for a weekend near the beach. Set in a beautiful backyard she has thought of everything, including breakfast, which is often overlooked with BnB. This was one of our best experiences staying at an Airbnb and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a 5 star experience of Sydney.

Comments: Susan's place is a little cottage at the end of a beautiful backyard that offers lots of privacy and a comfortable stay for a couple. Our hosts provided lots of extras that were unexpected but definitely appreciated. Susan's place is close to bus transport and a short walk to Bronte beach and the coastal walking track from Bondi to Coogee. I would have no hesitation in recommending Susan's place to couples looking for accommodation in Sydney's eastern suburbs.

Comments: Susan’s place was everything listed and more! She made sure that we could check in early after our long flight from the States. There were breakfast items in the refrigerator that worked very well for our mornings. She also provided fresh bagels that helped us make it through until lunch that day. The room was very very nice, secluded on the property and very quiet. It had everything that we needed and more. It is located close to a number of great restaurants and the beach! Just all around one of the best stays we had with fantastic hosts!

Comments: Can't say enough good things about our stay at Susan's guesthouse! The place is beautifully decorated and was very clean when we arrived. Everything we could think of was provided, including a map of the area & info on restaurants (5 minute walk to restaurants and the coast!). Susan was always easy to get in touch with & quick to respond when we had any questions. Above all else, Susan & Greg's hospitality was what stood out the most. They were so thoughtful (bringing us bagels one morning, lending us peroxide when my husband came down with an ear infection). I don't think we've had a more pleasant Airbnb experience. Highly recommend staying here!

Comments: This is a great studio guest house. It is exactly as pictured. Susan and her husband were great hosts. The help arrange my early arrival and very early departure (booking a taxi for me). You really have a private space and gardens which makes for a nice quiet stay. I appreciate the espresso machine and coffee packs, also the milk, yogurt, juice, fruits, berries and granola. I would definitely stay again. It is in walking distance to great restaurant and coffee shops, and Bronte Beach.

Comments: A beautiful little spot of Sydney and a charming place to stay. We truly loved our stay at Susan and Gregs apartment at the end of their garden. We travelled with our 10 month old boy and the place was just perfect and had everything we needed. Greg brought us fresh bagels each morning which was a nice touch. Bronte is fab, with cool restaurants, coffee shops close to the beach and beach pool and also has excellent bus links to Bondi Junction and the trains. Thanks so much for having us guys! Comments: Susan and Greg’s Place is fantastic-a perfect base in Bronte, a short walk around the coast from Bondi Beach. Wish we could give them a 11 out of 10 rating! The studio is beautiful, clean and has everything you might need. There has been a great deal of thought put into the detail. A delicious breakfast is provided and regularly topped up to give you a great start to your day. Susan and Greg are incredibly friendly, helpful and welcoming. They go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and that you have everything you might need. The jacaranda tree in the garden is a perfect setting in November and there are great cafes and restaurants nearby in Bronte - definitely check out the Three Blue Ducks! Comments: We spent a wonderful 8 days at Susan's flat at the bottom of the garden. It's like a fairy bower with a large mulberry tree and a small terrace for outdoor eating. The accommodation is small but immaculate and stylish, with a terrific shower head, quite the largest we have ever seen. All mod cons, even a hair straightener so we wanted for nothing. Susan and Greg are the most charming and considerate hosts. Their hospitality is outstanding as are the fabulous surroundings of Bronte Beach nearby. We would return in a heartbeat.

Comments: A beautiful apartment in a magical setting If you are thinking of visiting Sydney then Bronte is to be highly recommended as a place to base yourselves and the only place to stay in Bronte is in Susan and Gregg’s stylish and comfortable apartment. The room is thoughtfully decorated in a simple modern style and has a great shower room included. It sits within their lovely shady garden and is a hidden gem. Great hosts supplying knowledgeable tips for trips and eating - don’t miss Three Blue Ducks or UYen Vietnamese restaurant; Char Rotisserie and Iggy’s Bakery in Bronte nearby. Bronte is on the Bondi to Coogee cliff walk and is one of the most beautiful bays - only a short walk from the apartment - though a steep climb back! A hire car is useful though buses trains and especially the Rose Bay Ferry are easily found. Opal cards give hassle free access to these public transport options to the City - but take the ferry for the best views and experience. Your hosts will deliver fresh bedding and often bagels as well as jam and honey for breakfast - though gong out for breakfast and brunch is clearly a Sydney institution given the quality and choice available - Shuk or Lox Stock and Barrel both in North Bondi and Three Blue Ducks in Bronte.

The lovely touches such as fresh fruit delivered on the door step in the morning and delicious supplies added to the experience. It was a little oasis in a great part of Sydney. Comments: Our weekend at Susan and Greg's place was relaxing and fun. We walked to Bondi and Coogee along the coast, and ate at the local cafes. (Three Blue Ducks was so good we ate there twice.) The studio is set in a lush garden, and has lots of natural light. It's also quiet and cosy - perfect for catching up on sleep. We travelled from Central by train and bus, which took about 40 minutes on average, with one change at Bondi Junction. Susan and Greg were excellent hosts. Greg met us at the house and dropped us at a bakery for lunch so we didn't get rained on, and on our second morning, we found muffins in a basket on our front step. We'd visit again with pleasure.
