  Comments: The Kona Coffee Condo is a very nice, clean and comfortable apartment equipped with all necessary appliances. The condo complex is very beautiful located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by the coffee farms. Robert as a host was very responsive and very helpful from the first contact to the end of our stay. He gave us clear and detailed guidance on how to get to the condo as well as other practical hints regarding the property. Thanks, Robert for the great experience :)

  Comments: Our host Robert is great, direction how to get there and to get in are very clear, our questions are responded right away. When I told Robert I will be traveling with my elderly parents, he immediately informed me about the stairs from the parking lot to the unit. The place is good, can fit 4-5 adults comfortably, very clean and have all the conveniences. It was a short stay for us, so didn't really use the kitchen much except for the coffee maker. Very recommended.

  Comments: We had a great time in Kona and the Kona Coffee Condo met our needs really well. The location is great for exploring both the north and south of the island, and near a really fantastic kids playground. You need to rent a car to do anything on the island anyway, so it really didn't bother us that the place wasn't right in town. It is, however, very close to a restaurant (a local favourite) and a gas station for those quick emergency purchases or refilling of the filtered water. Fantastic sunset views from the lanai! If I come back to Kona, I would look this place up again.

  Comments: Our 9-day stay at Robert's condo at Kona Coffee Villas was a treat. The place is very clean, modern, and has a panoramic view of the ocean. The two bedrooms and two full bathrooms make it perfect for a family of four. It is on the top (third) floor, but because the parking lot and entry are on the uphill side, you only need to climb one flight of stairs. The kitchen works well, and includes a dishwasher. A washer and drier right in the apartment make doing laundry very convenient. The condo seems to be in a safe and friendly neighborhood, and is very quiet at night, apart from the chorus of chirping frogs at dusk. During our stay, we found plenty of beach towels, and a handy ice chest. We liked returning to the cooler higher altitude after a hot day at the beach. There are a lot of good restaurants in the area to discover, and it seems that local organic foods has really caught on in a big way. Robert was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. We definitely would stay here again.

The bamboo furniture is cool and the balcony is lovely. Its a great place to stay provided you're not a light sleeper. It's beautiful location comes with a lot of roosters and tree frogs that make some noise. If you're a light sleeper that wants to sleep in during your vacation, consider another spot.

Far enough away from things that it was peaceful, but close enough that it was easy to get to places. We had lots of space for the 5 of us. He also made great recommendations for things to do in the area. Highly recommended.

  Comments: Robert is such a welcoming host! He sent a note just before our departure and then followed up during our stay to ensure everything was as it should be. His directions from the airport were very clear and accurate, as were several tips and suggestions he passed on to us prior to our arrival. The condo is as represented in the photos and the listing. The location was perfect for us, providing a comfortable base for daytime exploration and a welcome refuge in the evening. We used the kitchen a fair bit for breakfast and most evening meals, so really the full range with oven and refrigerator were truly appreciated. Since we are only two people, we washed our dishes by hand after each meal and didn't use the dishwasher. There are lots of pots and pans, knives, spatulas, etc, in addition to dishes, glassware and cutlery, that we found extremely helpful. The bed in the master bedroom has just the right bit of firmness for us. Hot water was always available in both showers. Having in-suite laundry was such a treat. This meant we could arrive with less luggage and recycle the clothing we did bring. Since we were there almost 2 weeks, we were very happy to find and use the Swiffer mop. We enjoyed the lanai most morning and evenings. It was so nice to have that extra 'room.' Having wireless reliable internet access and cable TV was so helpful (we were tracking Storm Juno prior to our return to the East Coast) and highly appreciated. We also were able to keep up with Downton Abbey! This was our first experience on the Big Island and we hope to return sometime in the future. If & when we do, we hope Robert will welcome us back!

  Comments: Robert's condo was perfect! Myself and 2 other guys stayed here while attending a conference at the Sheraton. It was only a short 5-10 min drive which was perfect. Robert was in constant communication from the initial approval to the day we checked out. He was full of advice and always welcoming to answer any questions we had about what to do, where to eat, and what was available in the condo. When we were at the condo, every time we wondered if something was there it always was. Ice chest-yes, iron-yes, ice trays-yes, snorkel-yes, beach chairs-yes, beach towels-yes. They literally had everything except one (Website hidden by Airbnb) ice cream scoop. So needless to say, Robert's place has everything and it felt so cozy.

  Comments: We stayed at Roberts unit as part of a business trip. The unit is at a much cooler elevation and has a phenomenal view of the water! The sunsets were very beautiful. The unit is well equipped with the necessities that you will need for your stay, just pick up the food that you may want to cook!

It was equipped with everything we needed...comfortable beds, warm showers, washer/dryer, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, ice chest, crock pot, blender...just to name a few. We were very comfortable there. If fact, a little too comfortable, as it was hard to leave and come home. At the end of the day, we loved sitting out on the lanai and watching the sun (Website hidden by Airbnb) was so peaceful and beautiful. Robert was a great host and a wonderful communicator. Any question I asked, he answered, and in a timely manner. I really appreciated that! I would highly recommend Robert's place to anyone!

  Comments: We had a wonderful time in Kona. This was a great centralized location for exploring almost the entire island. Just 20 min to town, and 20 min to great snorkeling areas. Lots of Kona coffee and Macadamia nut farms everywhere. Weekends were great with roadside cooks selling everything from breads to smoked Ahi Tuna and Chicken BBQ's. Great place to visit. Hope to return again someday.

  Comments: Robert's place is 2-3 miles from Captain Cook, it is very convenient to the center of the city and south part of the Island and the coffee farms. The condo has a spacious living room with a beautiful (full) view of the ocean. Robert was available through email and phone providing me with detailed information. I would stay there again when I visit the Big Island. Robert provides all kinds of surfing and snorkeling gears and baby car seats. Overall we had a great experience.

  Comments: We really loved Robert's place! It is a spacious 2 bedroom/2 bath condo on the upper floor with truly amazing view of the sunset! No matter how busy, we watched it every night on the balcony (lanai) with a glass of good wine. The condo is very conveniently located with access to great beaches, shopping, food, Captain Cook Bay, Kona, etc. Also, the condo is located a little higher up the mountain, so it is not as hot as at the beach, which we really loved! Robert is a great accommodating and flexible host! I was communicating with him by E-mail and always got very quick, almost real-time, answers. I am afraid, I abused his kindness a little by asking too many questions:)

  Comments: We loved staying at this condo! The location was great – – it was far cooler up here than down by the ocean. It had everything we needed ranging from beach towels, beach chairs, snorkle gear, extra kitchen utensils and more. We also have 20 month old twins, and with the exception of having to keep them out of the kitchen it was very child friendly! Robert is very prompt and helpful, and his hospitality did not go unnoticed.

  Comments: This is a nice find. My friends and I who stayed here really liked it and enjoyed the space. I forgot there were 2 bathrooms (bonus) and a nice space to 'hang out' after exploring the island. It was nice to have a larger TV as well. All pooped out and having access to some TV, downtime was nice. We used our Fire to stream our content and was nice background noise while we played games. The location is nice. The condo (and it is a full condo on the top floor - nice) is a bit higher on the mountain (think it is a mountain) and is much cooler than by the beach. This is good to know since it may seem cloud at the condo but the beach is sunny. LOL. We didn't realize how awesome this bnb was until we experienced a different airbnb on Oahu which might have been a little misleading. This is a full condo - no sharing space with the owner. You have space all to yourself. This was not a house converted into different living space, it is a condo. It is also good that it is on the top floor. We hardly heard the neighbors except for weekends when the neighbors were outside and we had the windows open. Recommend this place for sure and if and when we come back, we will certainly look this place up.

  Comments: My sister and I had a fantastic time at this condo. It was away from the downtown Kona activity and was quite peaceful, but close enough to town so we could easily drive in to shop, go to the sights, and even do day trips to the southern and northern parts of the island. The beach chairs and cooler, plus the snorkeling gear and beach towels came in handy. The view from the deck was amazing! Robert was exceptionally prompt with communications and instructions which we greatly appreciated.

The location is good too, 10-20 min drive from the town and not too far away from the airport as well as the beaches on the northern part. The many amenities such as beach chair and boogie boards were very useful as well. Good value & location. Thank you Robert for your place!

  Comments: The view on the shore is absolutely wonderfull and the hawaiian decoration very friendly. The localisation is perfect to discover both the north and the south of Big Island and very close to Kailua Kona. We were very surprised, when the night comes, to hear so many birds and frogs from the surrounding : it was as if we were in the jungle... fantastic !! This is a very nice place to stay...

  Comments: I would recommend this condo and rent there again if I ever get back to Hawaii. The rates were reasonable, the accommodations were nice and being up on the mountainside made a huge difference in temperature change compared to the hot city. The maintenance crew does a great job keeping the outside looking nice.

It was an easy drive to everywhere, including Kailua-Kona, Holuloa, Ho'okena beach, two step beach and Captain Cook. We also loved the pool area and the very nice BBQs available. Robert was great at communicating and keeping us up-to-date on our trip.
