  Comments: The Appartment of Elvira is amazing. It is feshly renovated and very well equipped with everything that you might need. The location is very much in the center and it is not even 1 kilometer and you are where all the stuff goes on in the city. The neighbourhood is nice, traditional and quiet despite the central location. Elvira herself was very attentive to all our needs and when we arrived we were presented with a nice bottle of Port Wine and some pastries which both were amazing. My two friends and I were very pleasently surprised with everything. It is a perfect stay for 3-5 people. I would definetely recommend this appartment!

  Comments: Such a great place in a wonderful little traditional neighborhood. Ground floor access was great for us traveling with luggage. Location was convenient to public transportation. Easy to walk to restaurants and shopping nearby. Elvira was an amazing host. Would definitely stay here again.

  Comments: We has a wonderful time in Porto. My brother and his girlfriend arrived first, Elvira allowed them to leave their bags early and provided some port wine and snacks. They said she was very nice, although I never met her. We arrived late as our flight was delayed and we had been traveling for over 24 hours. We were very tired and had a bit of a hard time finding the place as our cab dropped us off on the wrong side, the neighbors were very friendly and helped us find it. The apartment was very cute and clean, perfect for 4 people. It definitely gave you the feeling of living in Porto, with the streets decorated for an upcoming festival and lots of potted plants and local children and pets enjoying the nice weather outdoors. The location was perfect, easy to walk to the river, as well as the town center. My only complaint would be that it was so hot, but they were getting air conditioning installed the day we left! I would definitely recommend this apartment! Great location and value for the price.

  Comments: Had a fantastic experience staying in Porto. The accommodation was clean, very comfortable, had great personal touches to welcome us to Portugal and was exactly as described. Elvira was a wonderful host with clear and quick communication - we happened to book for the weekend of Festa de São João and Elvira was kind enough to let us know that it would be a busy weekend in the city (in a good way!) and what to expect from the festival. I would happily stay here again.

  Comments: I and my husband have been to Porto for more than two weeks in July 2018, stayed at Casa da Ponte and we loved it. The pictures are a true representation of the house which is newly renovated, stylish, comfortable, very clean and with a well equipped kitchen. The location is quite convenient; it takes 10-15 min. To walk to the main hot spots in Porto (Ribeira river front, D Luis Bridge, Cathedral, S Bento Station, S Catarina Street, etc.). The neighbourhood is safe and quiet at night and there are grocery stores nearby. Elvira is an amazing host - very nice, friendly and kind. She greeted us and made us feel welcomed from the first moment. The pastries, port wine and souvenirs were a very nice touch. During our stay Elvira was very helpful with prompt communication. We had an amazing vacation in Porto and Casa da Ponte had a big contribution. Thank you Elvira!

  Comments: Logement en duplex refait à neuf, très propre, très bien équipé, sommiers et matelas de qualité. Le voisinage peut étonner (petites allées étroites avec quelques nuisances sonores dans la journée, mais très calme le soir pour dormir) proche du centre ville historique. Le rez-de-chaussée ne reçoit pas beaucoup de lumière naturelle mais le premier étage si. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et tout à fait disposés à aider.

  Comments: We really enjoyed our stay, the location is excellent, close enough to walk to most of the cities attractions while being in a calm and typical neighborhood. There is a metro stop nearby which is convenient because it’s the same line that goes to the airport. Elvira was very friendly and answered our questions quickly, she gave us the chance to leave our luggage as soon as we arrived from the airport even though it was before check in. She explained and gave tips of the neighborhood and some city highlights. Parking was very easy and she gave us a couple of suggestions of where we could leave the car. The apartment is recently renovated so everything is new and works great. We had an amazing time ! Would definitely recomment staying here!

  Comments: The apartment was perfect, clean and beautiful. Elvira, the hostess welcomed us with her husband that helped us with the luggages. She let us and little bottle of Porto to welcome us and made us feel like home. The place is clean and very well decorated. The location is close to everything and in a little street that is full of charm and surrounded by local neighbors. The bed were brand new, super comfortable.   Comments: It was exactly like the pictures. They offered shampoo, conditioner, body wash, tooth paste, enough toilet paper, clean towels and linens, hair dryer, etc. They also set out a bottle of water and some Oporto wine for our arrival. The neighborhood is very traditional, quiet and nice; it is ideally located, very close to the city center. A big plus is that it has A/C (we were there on a particularly hot weekend). Would definitely recommend.

  Comments: I had a reservation for the hotel, but changed my mind after looking at Airbnb and discivering Elvira’s place. And it was a great experience. She responded right away, get clear directions and met us at the place with a warm welcome gift. The place is squeaky clran and has everything you need. It’s a in walkable distance to supermarkets and to the upper riverbank. Highly recommend to stay at this place.

Comfortable, quiet spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location the house is one of the best Airbnb stays we have stayed in. cI can't recommend it highly enough.   Comments: This place is awesome!! Elvira was quick to respond to everything, and let us drop off our bags early. The place was sparkling clean, the beds were very comfortable, and I really enjoyed the treats she left for us. The neighborhood is a quiet community hidden in a very active part of town. Make sure to try the pork sandwiches at Casa Guedes just up the street - there is a line for a reason! Note: The neighborhood is quiet. I wouldn’t suggest this for those looking to be loud after 9-10pm. But it is so close to everything you’ll have no reason to stay at home.

  Comments: I have used Airbnb all over the world on countless occasions and Elvira’s was by far the best experience I have ever had. We arrived early and Elvira invited us to drop our bags off, Elvira gave us great tips for the city, where to go and helped with any questions we had. In addition Elvira left some beautiful welcome touches to make us feel at home and I would recommend that anybody looking to stay in Porto stays here as you will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back!

  Comments: Sobre el anfitrión: La recepción de Elvira fue excelente , nos espero en persona. Ella es la dueña de la locación se nota en todos sus detalles y cuidados. También ayudo mucho con su recomendaciones y flexibilidad. Sobre la ubicación : Con respecto al casco histórico esta justo en el borde , pero es muy practico de llegar caminando a todos lados , bus turístico a 2 cuadras , funicular a 3 cuadras , y el puente a do infante a 2 cuadras , y la salida de Flixbus ( bus low cost ) a 2 cuadras. En departamento esta en el corazón de una vecindad en reconstrucción como la mayoría de la ciudad Sobre el departamento: esta recién reciclado a nuevo, con todos los detalles, y muy bien aprovechado el espacio, sentirás que sos el primero en habitarlo . No es del todo silencioso , ya que hay una vecina muy ruidosa , pero las ventanas de excelente calidad son sumamente herméticas y disminuyen mucho los ruidos Aunque veras en las fotos se lo ve un poquito mas grande de lo que es , es muy cómodo y practico

  Comments: This apartment is a hidden gem in a quiet little residential neighborhood tucked into a corner of the city! You can walk to lots of attractions and are very close to the tram, bus and train station. The place is neat, clean, modern and has all the necessary amenities. Comfy beds and nice linens, nicely decorated! Elvira provides maps, a printed information booklet and gives you any other answers you might need for your stay. Great experience!

  Comments: Our stay at Elvira's was the highlight of our trip, if we could have taken the apartment along with us for the rest of our stay in Portugal, we would have done it! The place is really cozy, comfortable, stocked with everything you could need, it really felt like a home away from home. The location is also excellent, only a few minutes walking distance from historic Porto. Elvira was a wonderful host, welcomed us at arrival with Port wine and crackers, spend 20 minutes showing us a local map and the mustsees, told us when we could get food at the late hour, groceries, breakfast, etc. The whole time we were there she was easy to contact and quick to respond. This was my best Airbnb experience to date!

  Comments: Perfect apartment for couples or friends which want to explore the city. It’s not in the fanciest environment but the apartment itself is very pretty and it’s hard to find something comparable with at least in this price class, I would recommend it to everyone who will explore Porto. It’s really central and you can get there fast to the City center or metro. The flat itself was clean and you have everything you need. The beds are super comfy and the air condition is powerful enough that you get the temperatur you want (not that normal in my experience) Unrestricted recommendation for everyone who can handle a few stairs to get in bed.

  Comments: Endroit très proche du centre ville, très propre, Hôte très accueillante & réactive si vous avez besoin de quelque chose. Ruelle très calme, Elvira nous avait préparée une petite surprise pour notre arrivée, elle m'a ensuite aider a trouver une place de stationnement, parle un petit peu Français & parfaitement Anglais. Je vous recommande ce logement sans soucis.

  Comments: Elvira es una gran anfitriona. Desde que la contacté me ayudó y me dio mucha información. Mi familia se hospedo en el piso y estuvieron muy cómodos, el piso es muy limpio, bonito y con buena ubicación. Elvira es muy flexible y atenta.
